8VTUhRR.jpg

It all started in Qingpong, China.  A child born radiating a strange heat from their body, almost lighting their nursery in flames.  Ever since that day, the supernatural has become rather natural.  People around the world started being born, with special attributes that were quickly defined as: Quirks.  These people grew up to be the first generation of vigilantes, and gave rise to the Hero Institution, where they worked as government officials around the world.  Though their population was small at first, they grew in numbers quickly.  Soon, 25% of the population of the world had obtained a Quirk.  With such numbers, the heroes of the future must be taught at a young age!

Welcome to Your Hero Academia!

[spoiler=Plot]

This is an Alternate Universe RP, one that closes resembles that of the world of the original "Boku No Hero Academia"!  This RP, takes place during the third generation of heroes, where the first generation is now withering away, and passing on the torch to the second, and the second will do the same soon.  They will raise this third generation in hopes of creating heroes who will pave the way to a brighter future.  However, humanity is still wary of the rising population of heroes, and are afraid that the normal homosapien will soon die out.  Will our young heroes be accepted?

You are a hopeful applicant to one of the best Hero Academies of all time!  The campus is in Japan, but you can have any nationality you would like.  You will start out as freshman, trying to make it to the world of the pros, through any obstacles that get in your way.

This RP will be split into chapters, and those chapters will be split into Arcs.  Chapters will consist mainly of different years in the Academy's school years, as our characters grow older and develop.  Arcs will consist of the important parts that happen during that specific chapter.

[spoiler=Mommy]

mcWAmLe.jpg

Kokoro Kurosawa

Bloodstone

Quirk: Crystal

Crystal: Kokoro's Quirk is a convenient two-for-one deal. First and most importantly, this Quirk allows Kokoro to generate red crystals from her forearms, at a rate of about one crystal every two seconds per arm. This is accomplished by crystallizing about a pound of water and some salt in her body, with a splash of blood to "mark" it as hers with. Because they're just highly-condensed water with salt and a bit of blood, these crystals are pretty much worthless as far as monetary value goes. In addition, this isn't a painless process, and doing it in rapid succession can dehydrate Kokoro veryquickly. However, there are a lot of things she can do with these crystals.

As long as a crystal is "marked" as belonging to Kokoro, she's able to manipulate it in a manner similar to telekinesis. This means she can, among other things, fire them as projectiles, create a barrier out of her crystals, and if she has enough of them, create wings she can use to fly by wrapping the crystals around her arms (and a few on her legs for balance) and taking off. There's not really an expiration date on the crystals, so Kokoro can in theory create a bunch until she needs a break and store limitless crystals. However, she's only able to manipulate fifty crystals at one time.

Due to differing blood types, Kokoro cannot control crystals made by Asuka, and vice versa.

Projectile: -1 crystal
Barrier: -4 or more crystals
Wings: Usable only with 20+ crystals

[spoiler=Daddy]

opUDzDA.jpg

Shurui Otoma

Sunspot

Quirk: Solar Power

Gains slight enhancements to all physical prowess while the sun is out.  He can retain the power for an hour when not in the presence of sunlight.  Can use heat projectiles from anywhere on his body.  Mainly uses it to fly by shooting the energy out of his feet.

[spoiler=Shiki Lu Who?]

rp88f1d.jpg

Shiki Lu

Shiki Ryu

Quirk: Lizard Army

Can communicate with any type of reptile.  She can also rapidly evolve a reptile by simply coming in contact with it, giving it an increased amount of abilities dependent on how long she is in contact with them.  This includes growing their size, intelligence, muscle mass, etc.  The effects of the rapid evolution stop when the reptile becomes unconscious, where they return to their normal state before becoming evolved.

[spoiler=Paralyzer]

afEYblI.jpg

???

Medusa

Quirk: Paraleyes

Once the user makes eye contact with another person, the victim's muscles seize up immediately.  Once eye contact is broken, the effects wear off instantly.

[spoiler=With the taste of your lips I'm on a ride]

KUoKNPY.jpg

???

Poison

Quirk: Slime Hair

Instead of regular hair, the user secretes a gelatinous substance from their scalp.  However, it grows at the same rate normal hair would.  The user can manipulate this jelly to their will, but it cannot extend past it's total volume and length.  The jelly also has a high acidity to it, and can easily melt through stone.

[spoiler=Disappointment haunted all my dreams]

tDz3KNR.jpg

???

???

Quirk: Carbon

The user can manipulate the carbon of their epidermal layer to create dense stones of varying hardness and density.

"I honestly don't know what I should do. What can I do? How do I use this Quirk?"

x393wz.jpg

Personal Information

x393wz.jpg

Name: Ichiro Adachi (Lit. 安達 朗, Adachi Ichiro)

Age: 15

Sex: Male

x393wz.jpg

[spoiler=Appearance:]

C4z6nkB.jpg

Height: 5'2"

Weight: 120 lbs

x393wz.jpg

[spoiler=Personality:]

What are things that Ichiro displays on a daily basis? Ichiro himself is a cautious individual as well as quiet. This is due to him not wanting to injure anyone with his Quirk, due to its sheer strength. Many times he sits off to himself and writes down names for his Quirk in his journal. He technically isn't outgoing at all, though if someone does approach him to make conversation, he will converse with that individual.

Aside from this, if something can get past this outer wall of protection Ichiro has out for himself, they would find that he really is a kind-hearted and friendly person. He aspires to be just like his older brother, one who's always able to help others, always smiling, and having a positive attitude...no matter what the situation. However, due to his upbringing, he sees Quirks and those with them in a different light than most do. Because of this, he's always trying his best not to insult anyone with a Quirk, same with those that have a different definition of "hero" than he does.

Always persistent to finish a task, Ichiro is always working, both in his studies and towards trying to figure out what he wants to do with his life. However, the only thing he hates more than anything else is constant trips to either the doctors or the nurses due to use of his Quirk

x393wz.jpg

[spoiler=Biography:]

"Every story has a beginning, right? Guess this is mine..."

Ichiro Adachi was born to Japanese parents, both of which had no Quirk whatsoever. However, while his parents had no Quirks, it didn't mean he didn't...same with his older brother, Rei. Rei wasn't exactly there much for him when he was born, due to him being anti-social, so he didn't get much interaction from him. Nevertheless, he lived a pretty quiet life in Kyoto. The downside to Ichiro's family was that they were among the many of individuals at the current moment: they were afraid of those with Quirks. And if they knew individuals who had these abilities, they ostracized themselves from their company. To the Adachis...normality...no...humanity was slowly dying and they needed to keep their son away from these strange people.

It didn't work unfortunately. As Ichiro grew, he finally showed signs of his Quirk and it was something that immediately shocked and worried his parents. While playing outside with their dog, Ichiro was playing fetch with him...only to throw the ball and watch it fly out of sight. And this was only the tip of the iceberg, after throwing the ball Ichiro's arm was broken. A child with such a strength and broken bones when doing this, it was something that worried Ichiro's parents...so much so that when they got his arm fixed and put in a sling...they abandoned him. At least, it's what his parents wanted to do. Instead, he was taken by his older brother and they ran away from their parents. Of course, Rei found out that his younger brother was one with a Quirk, while he was without one. However, unlike his family, Rei still saw Ichiro as family and still loved him regardless.

The two lived on their own for quite a while, but all the time, Ichiro saw Rei as his hero. Even though he was Quirkless, he always had a smile on his face and had just a positive attitude. This was the person he wanted to be like. Though he tried his best to act like Rei, he did his best to keep his Quirk in check, not wanting anything bad to happen. Thankfully, Rei was helpful in showing his little brother how to deal with this by training his body to handle it.

Years passed and Ichiro was able to find a way, thanks to Rei, to join others like him...those with Quirks at a place known as U.A. to where he can learn to properly control his Quirk and even figure out how to use it for good. Though deep down inside, Ichiro wants direction on what to do...why he has these powers and what they're for and the biggest question of them all: is he supposed to be a hero with all this power? Or if he's to be like Rei?

Combat Information

x393wz.jpg

Alias: Atlas

x393wz.jpg

[spoiler=Appearance:]

star_superion__ex_by_skywarp_2-d1ulv4j.p

The cape is not available for the costume. A feature that this costume adds to Ichiro is that he added a design to where there are strong athletic braces around the arms and legs of the costume. This feature allows for the wearer to prevent injury while using their Quirk, however, these aren't going to outright stop injuries on Ichiro's end, just lessens the damage he does on himself while also increasing the power output's threshold without snapping.

x393wz.jpg

[spoiler=Quirk:]

Unnamed

This Quirk that Ichiro has is a strange one indeed. The way he explains it, his Quirk is one that stockpiles power and allows him to tap into this stockpiled power, giving him momentary increased agility, superhuman strength and speed.

The downside to this Quirk is that with all the incredible amounts of raw power, intense stress is put on the body which can result in broken bones. This said, Ichiro is doing his best to try and train his body to use this strange Quirk without any issues, though its a lot harder than he originally thought.

[spoiler=Good Vibrations]

8tOKosA.jpg?1

"Let's shake things up!"

Character Name: Ino Todoya

Age: 15

Sex: Female

[spoiler=Appearance:]

Height: 5'8"

Weight: 110 lbs

d1LsGbr.jpg

Ino's costume is made of a special fiber that allows her to sense vibrations that contact any part of her body, besides those of her own creation.  This causes a tingling sort of effect in her body, and she can sense when others are nearby.

[spoiler=Personality:]

Ino, while upbeat and peppy, is still a very veracious individual who loves action and being apart of all the fun.  She tends to give off a rather annoying vibe towards others, as she can be overly aggressive in a friendly sort of way.  She tends to call this personality of hers, a result of her perk, and likes to send good vibrations out into the world, rather than murk it up with the negative emotions that tend to be spread nowadays.  If she happens to stumble upon one of those certain individuals who has a emotional shell, or literal shell in the case of Shell Quirks, she tries to bust them out as soon as possible.  However, this tactic usually backfires, and makes people tend to avoid her company.

Ino is a persistent individual through and through, and tries her best at each task at hand.  She tends to rely on her quirk a lot for daily tasks, but is proud of the fact that it makes her life a little easier.  Whether it be sending a small shock wave to knock something off of a high shelf, or causing a minor local quake that would cause a school cancellation, she tends to use her Quirk in ways that only benefit herself, not caring if light poles were destroyed, or if she misses the glass and it shatters on the floor.

[spoiler=Biography]

As Ino took her first breaths in her new life, and proceeded to cry, the hospital she was born in began to noticeably shake.  There was no need to give her the simple quirk test that all newborns were provided.  Even though Quirks usually manifest at the age of 4, this demonstration of her Quirk was rather impressive, but would not become noticeable again until she was that same age.  Growing up, she had a hard time making friends, as when she would get excited, she would vibrate uncontrollably, disorienting an individual who she was trying to befriend.  People tended to stray away from the girl who could produce small earthquakes every time someone greeted her.

As she grew older, she got a grapple on her emotions, and was able to contain them somewhat better.  However, by this time, the social damage was already done, and she never was able to understand the concept of physical or emotional barriers.  With not being able to associate with her peers, though she tried with all her might, she was never able too, and instead, focused on a way for people to like her instead.  It was around the time before High School began that she would then become a hero!  A person that was idolized in society!  No one ever said that they didn't want to be friends with a hero, so doing that would be the ticket to gaining mass popularity, and friends!

With her Quirk at her disposal, Ino was able to get one of the highest marks during the UA entrance exam, while barely passing the written portion.  Nonetheless, she was accepted into one of the very few top Hero Academies in the nation, let alone the world.  Ino would surely make waves across the world!

[spoiler=Quirk:]

Quake: Ino's cells can vibrate at an incredibly rapid pace, allowing for her to generate kinetic shock waves that she can use for varying purposes.  She can send these shock waves out through any medium she deems appropriate, such as the ground or air, to a predetermined focal point.  In this regard, she cannot control the shock waves once they are released.  Furthermore, Ino can vibrate parts of her body to allow them to produce more friction, or to gain much more density, allowing her access to much more mass than she would normally.  Strength of vibrations can vary depending on Ino's mood, and are typically more violent in times of intense emotion on either side of the spectrum.  If used on her whole body, she becomes incredibly dizzy and disoriented.

[spoiler=Michael Rosenfeld]

Character Name: Michael "Mike" Rosenfeld
Age: 14
Sex: Male

[spoiler=Appearance]
lNyse4U.png

Michael stands at a shorter 5'5" and 140 lbs

[spoiler=Personality]
Mike is a decently quiet individual. He finds himself a bit more shy around other people, and doesn't quite like to be around very crowded places. However, he's not exactly an awkward (at least not completely) or depressed person; Mike is a kid that, overall, enjoys to keep to himself more than anything. However, because of this, Mike can tend to have a harder time making friends. Make no mistake, he doesn't dislike people, and many times does wish that he had more friends, but has difficulty getting close enough to people. For his school and sports work, Mike can be a very focused individual; being very capable of putting his mind to task and getting it done right.

Mike's had only a few close friends in his life, and usually they've come from people he's helped out from situations involving bullies. Due to his shyness, Mike is no stranger to being bullied, and while he can be apprehensive at first about those situations, he has a few hot buttons that, once pressed, can really get him fired up. Mike has a great disdain for people that get their joy and kicks from beating down from others, and his often quiet and gentle demeanor will vanish completely in those situations.

[spoiler=Biography]
Mike is a native Canadian from the sprawling metropolis of Vancouver, born an only child and has stayed that way since. Mike can be described as someone that has breezed through school; typically among the smarter students with what appears to be little effort. Through elementary and middle school, his primary interest was in sports, and found himself frequently joining baseball and hockey teams. This busy life between studies and sports lead to Mike having a lacking social life. Because of this poor social integration, Mike's no stranger to being bullied, and as a young kid was frequently the victim of it. However, as he practiced more with his quirk and got stronger, the bullies would often find themselves losing those fights they picked with him.

Through his childhood, Mike had always wanted to be a hero, gaining a great interest in the profession from the various cartoons and comics he frequently watched and read, and knew he had a chance the more practiced he became with his quirk. Unfortunately, there were no hero academies of any significance in the immediate area near Mike, and while he submitted many applications to other schools in the U.S. and the other side of Canada. Eventually, he got a reply from U.A., and so, brushing up on the language courses he had already taken, he boarded a plane and set out for Japan, nervous as always, to take his first step to becoming a proper hero.

[spoiler=Quirk]
Mike's quirk is called Force. Mike's quirk allows him to generate energy in the form of force from his body, at any location. This force, in a raw and unfocused state, has a short range and is useful for a variety of actions such as adding more range and impact to melee attacks or adding bursts of speed or height to his jumps and movements. With more training the quirk can be focused into more tangible states or used in more sustained and constant mediums rather than single bursts in an instance. However, he has not reached that stage in his development yet. Mike's quirk, however, burns quite a few calories, and can exhaust him very quickly if used to liberally.

Misc:
  • Mike has a degree of naivity about him.
  • In his downtime, if he isn't practicing or studying, it's basically cartoons and comics.
  • he can see why kids love the taste of cinnamon toast crunch

Langley is a gentle soul.  He gets his personality from his mother.  He's very lighthearted, and easy-going outside of the classroom.  But when it comes to his students and their studies, he's among the most intense course instructors.  If their futures as heroes and sidekicks are in his hands, he intends to do everything within his power to ensure that they are the most successful heroes and sidekicks that they can be.  He regularly uses his spare time to tutor students outside of class, becoming a mentor to some and a friend to others.  But don't let his fatherly figure fool you.  He's an impressive instructor, but an even more impressive hero.

[spoiler=Biography]

Langley Faust is a mixed breed of a man.  His mother was British, hailing far west of Japan.  She is Quirkless, which Langley finds most interesting about his family lineage.  On his mother's side, there are only two Quirk users.  His Grandfather, who can manufacture weather at will.  And his aunt, who could manipulate her height and weight at will.  These Quirks were unique, but apparently did not pass down in any way to Langley.  Rather, it's most likely he got his Quirk from his American father.

When Lady Margaret Faust describes James--Langley's father--she often has a tone of pity and worry.  "I remember when he asked me to marry him.  Bloody fool I was.  And a honeymoon to Japan?  I never thought we'd end up living here," she once told Langley.  "His Quirk?  Magnetic Manipulation.  He could've brought down the Big Ben without a second thought, with just a spliff of concentration.  Maybe that's why you can do what you can do."

Having control over magnetic fields must've given James a lot of power over. . . well, everything.  He could manipulate the very atmosphere with just slight traces of metal.  He could rock the earth's very core, using the nickel found at its center.  He bring down entire cities if he chose!  It seemed that Langley's inheritance of his father's Quirk had changed drastically.  Though he too had vast control over the fields of earth, it was much more concentrated and centered.  His Quirk had evolved from his father's, transforming from Magnetic Manipulation, into Gravity Manipulation.

His father was an American.  But like most Americans, he wasn't around for very long.  He was there enough to name his son, see him turn eight weeks old, and then he vanished from the lives of the Faust family.  Langley holds no resentment towards his father.  In fact, he's sure that his father would be very proud of him today.  He followed his mother's wishes to do something great with the Quirk he was born with.  He vowed to stay the course, focus on the task at hand, and never stray to villainy.  And if he ever met his father, he would thank him.

Langley's passion for Hero work naturally drove him to the Hero Institution.  Since his days of adolescence, he'd wanted to be a hero.  And after he'd grown, studied, and developed his Quirk, he learned that he had another passion:  teaching.  The smiles of students always did put him in a good mood.  And being able to teach at the Hero Institution was a dream come true.  For a brief time, he got to work with the people he admired, and he was responsible for helping generations of heroes and sidekicks to grow and develop.  Even when he wasn't out assisting with the latest danger, in his own way, he was still a hero.

And so, Langley lives out his days strengthening young hero minds, in an attempt to ensure the future of heroes is bright, and filled with potential.

[spoiler=Quirk]

Graviton Force

Langley's Quirk is quite dangerous.  Inherited partially from his mother, he manipulates gravity around himself.  It's extremely sensitive and must be controlled precisely, as not to tear apart himself or others.  Langley's quirk requires a great amount of restraint when used, and passively, Langley must be constantly controlling the gravity being manipulated around himself at all times, through sheer force of will.  Over many years of practice, Langley has managed to master his own gravity force, so that when he enters the presence of others, he doesn't flatten them, or worse.  He can even concentrate while he's sleeping!

But should Langley's concentration ever become questionable, his gravity force could very well spin out of control, and kill himself, and those in the immediate area around him.

Specifically, Langley's Graviton Force centers on him, in a thirty meter radius.  He affects everything from the air, to the ground, to the people walking beside him, and the vehicle he drives in.  He can either greatly increase the gravity, or remove it completely.  He can manipulate gravity in concentrated small areas, allowing him to target things as small as a pebble, and focus his mind.  Or he can manipulate something as large as an adult elephant.  But no matter what he can control, Langley must always remember that he must focus on the task at hand.

Miscellaneous:

  • Langley loves sweets.
  • Langley's birthday is in February.
  • He loves the cold.
  • Langley thinks cats are the worst.

[spoiler=Truly Outrageous]

"Don't give up!"

Name: Asuka Kurosawa

Age: 15

Sex: Female

[spoiler=Appearance]puvSN8C.jpg
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 122 pounds

[spoiler=Personality]If there's a girl who embodies "Lawful Good", it's Asuka.

Asuka is a girl who places immense value on the freedom and safety of others. She grew up seeing firsthand just what villains are capable of, and she seems more and more determined to not let anyone become subject to their cruelty by the day. She's especially touchy about defending people who can't defend themselves, namely those not blessed with a Quirk of their own. She finds that, and any form of discrimination really, unfair, and makes an active effort to not make generalizations or base her preconceptions of a person or group of people purely off stereotypes. Every individual is different, and Asuka encourages people to remember that while every good tree bears a few bad apples, the opposite can be just as true.

If faced with a moral dilemma that involves being forced to make one of two illegal and/or immoral decisions for a good cause, Asuka won't sit down and pick one. She'll go above and beyond, weeding out the evil at its source instead of letting it try to force her down its path. She isn't known to turn tail or abandon what she thinks is right, so if ever one needs a stalwart ally, Asuka's usually a pretty good place to start. She wants, in the end, a utopia for every living thing. A place where there's no hunger or war, and everyone can live happily and at peace. It's a dream that Asuka acknowledges probably can't be done in her lifetime, but persistence runs in her family. Just because she knows she can't, that doesn't mean she thinks she won't.

A strong belief of Asuka's, setting aside laws or morals, is that anything is possible if a person works hard enough for it. Anything. As such, if Asuka wants to do something, she'll work as hard as she possibly can to see it done. Laziness is a trait she discourages in others, as one can never live up to their full potential if they don't even try. Likewise, quitting or giving up aren't things she believes people should do. So what are her flaws?

Well, she has a bad habit of shoving her beliefs onto others. The mindset of "I believe it so it must be right" runs deep in Asuka's family, and for better or worse, she thinks people who disagree with her are wrong. It can make her standoffish and stubborn when dealing with people who think differently from her. Asuka also gets very bitter very fast if the topic of her Quirk being similar to a known villain's is brought up. In the same vein, while generally open to any line of conversation, Asuka is pretty tight-lipped about her folks. The most she generally says is "I'm not proud of my family", before working to change the topic.

[spoiler=Biography]Asuka's mother is a hero. Or so she'd like to say. Her mother - Kokoro Kurosawa - never officially became a hero. Although once a promising U.A. student, Kokoro Kurosawa abandoned the hero school year the end of her final year, and started down the path of evil. Her kill count grew with her infamy, and soon, Bloodstone became one of the greatest villains to terrorize Japan. The villain known as Bloodstone is still at large to this day, and is the person who raised Asuka for the early years of her life.

Not that Asuka knew about her mother's villainous identity at first. Bloodstone made a clear effort to keep her villainous work away from Asuka's eyes and ears as best she could, and tried to still give her a normal upbringing. It was a losing battle, what with having to juggle the villain work, raise a child, and constantly stay on the move to avoid heroes and police looking to capture her at long last. When Asuka was five, the truth dawned on Bloodstone that this work was simply too much to all do at once. Asuka simply couldn't live with a villain for a mother and still have a normal life. And so, she was taken to Bloodstone's childhood home in the Kansai area, to live with one of Bloodstone's few remaining friends. Her best friend, and Asuka's godmother, Hitomi Sumida.

Asuka's new life was far more stable. She was able to grow up like a normal kid, make and lose friends, and more. However, her Quirk sometimes raised some eyebrows, being identical to that of a known and very dangerous villain. At first, she was confused, until the bomb was finally dropped that Asuka's mother was in fact Bloodstone. Coping with it was a slow process. What started as denial eventually turned to anger, then later a calm form of determination. Asuka wanted to stop "Bloodstone" and get "Kokoro" back. It was a goal she decided on when she was a child, though she was never entirely certain if she could pull it off. Over time, Asuka began to accept that it wasn't entirely realistic. She couldn't get her mother back, but she could still stop her.

And so, Asuka's attention turned toward becoming a hero. When Hitomi was confident Asuka was certain of her goal, she even went so far as to find a new job that would let her and Asuka move to a house near U.A. itself. Asuka's years in junior high were often met with the sight of that glorious institution. She wanted to go there. When the time to take entrance exams came, Asuka gave it her all. Her practical scores weren't impressive, but her written scores showed that she had clearly put a lot of effort into her studies. Those written scores were responsible for carrying Asuka's performance, and granting her access to U.A.

Now that she's here, she can begin working in earnest toward her goal to clear the Kurosawa name of her mother's villainy.

[spoiler=Quirk]Crystal: Asuka's (and by extension, Kokoro's) Quirk is a convenient two-for-one deal. First and most importantly, this Quirk allows Asuka to generate red crystals from her forearms, at a rate of about one crystal every two seconds per arm. This is accomplished by crystallizing about a pound of water and some salt in her body, with a splash of blood to "mark" it as hers with. Because they're just highly-condensed water with salt and a bit of blood, these crystals are pretty much worthless as far as monetary value goes. In addition, this isn't a painless process, and doing it in rapid succession can dehydrate Asuka very quickly. However, there are a lot of things she can do with these crystals.

As long as a crystal is "marked" as belonging to Asuka, she's able to manipulate it in a manner similar to telekinesis. This means she can, among other things, fire them as projectiles, create a barrier out of her crystals, and if she has enough of them, create wings she can use to fly by wrapping the crystals around her arms (and a few on her legs for balance) and taking off. There's not really an expiration date on the crystals, so Asuka can in theory create a bunch until she needs a break and store limitless crystals. However, she's only able to manipulate fifty crystals at one time.

This Quirk is in every way identical to that of her mother, but since they have different blood types, they can't control each other's crystals.

[spoiler=Issssssssami]

"Weather's pretty nice today, ain't it?"

Character Name: Isami Kobayashi
Age: 14
Sex: Male

[spoiler=Appearance]

uk9bVhL.jpg

Height: 5'8"
Weight: 137 lbs

He has very prominent fangs that resemble that of a snake, and has a forked tongue. The bandages he wears will stick when transforming between man and snake.

[spoiler=Personality]

Isami had always been a rather calm and patient individual, going through life at his own slower pace. While his care-free nature allows him to perform under pressure, it also leads to him placing less importance on things that require his whole attention - namely, his academics. While he can do well on tests and homework, his head always seems like its in the clouds, often daydreaming when he inevitably becomes bored. While he is often aimless with his actions, if he is given a task he will try to complete it. Even if he does tend to it at the last minute, and sometimes even misses the deadline.

He enjoys talking to people, despite his quiet demeanor, and is empathetic. Although he is sociable, he much prefers to have a small circle of close friends, rather than a large circle of distant friends. That said, he doesn't mind being alone at times - in fact, he likes to separate time for himself to let his mind wander as he stares into the bright blue sky. Often times this alone-time cuts into time he should be using more productively - as one could imagine, Isami is rather lazy.

[spoiler=Biography]

Isami Kobayashi comes from a line of Druids like himself. While neither of his parents were heroes, his older sister Kawako Kobayashi had graduated from the U.A. roughly a year before Isami applied himself While his sister was the textbook definition of the ideal student, Isami always took his approach to academics a little more leniently. While he did fairly well, he didn't quiet study as much as he probably should of, and would procrastinate most of his deadlines. He rarely participated in sports in elementary and middle school, preferring to spend his free time laying about in the grass, staring at the sky.

During most of his childhood he was directionless, not knowing quiet what he wanted to do with his life after middle school. Around the end of middle school however, he had decided to follow in the footsteps of his sister - partially due to her influence on him, and partially because the other alternative of simply studying seemed like a bore to him. He applied to the same highschool that her sister had before - the U.A. - which is probably the reason they accepted him despite his grades only being above average rather than exceptional like his sisters were.

[spoiler=Quirk]

People that share similar Quirks to Isami's, Snake, are known as Druids. Being a Druid means that you not only share traits of a species of animal, but are able to transform into a generic version of the said animal - either completely or partially. Druids of a specific family of animals have their own sub-species of Druids; for example, Isami's Druid Animal is the snake, so he would be an Snake-Druid. When a Druid transform into their Druid Animal, it can range from the size/proportions of the Druid to the actual size of the animal itself, and the Druid can take partial transformation of said animal. So, if Isami so desired, he could have the lower half of his body be that of a viper, properly proportioned to his human form.

A Druid takes on many of the traits of their Druid Animal - for better or for worse. Isami specifically is partially Ectothermic like live snakes - while he does produce heat from his body, it is very minimal. This leaves him to be cold to the touch. However, this also means that he doesn't need to eat as much as his peers. He also has some physical traits of his Druid Animal, such as his bright yellow eyes, hollow fangs, and forked tong. He has a venomous bite, and can spit out the very same venom that lies inside him. While he primarily uses a paralyzing poison in combat, he has access to a large variety of toxins within his body - while he theoretically could produce a lethal poison due to his snake-like traits, he has never produced such a theoretical poison. As an added bonus, he himself is resistant to toxins.

He also has a few biological quirks that come with being a Snake-Druid, such as having a second pair of clear eye-lids over his eyes and having dry, smooth skin that feels like scales upon touch. Just like snakes, he has to shed some parts of his skin, although much less often since it's skin and not scales. His jaw is extremely flexible like that of a snake, and his teeth are continuity replaced.

Misc:

  • Isami's prefered snake is the Mamushi
  • Due to his biology, he hates cold weather and is very much a morning person.
  • His favorite dish is Fruit Salad, since they're not as heavy as other dishes and it pleases his sweet tooth
  • He often listens to music on the mp3 that he got from his sister on his 13th birthday.
  • His childhood nickname was "Hissami", and was used both as a cute nickname by his friends and by bullies, who would also include his last name "Kobrayashi"
  • As mentioned before, Isami's family consists of Druids. His mom's Quick is Bat, his dad's Frog, and his sister's Eagle

Whoa, I want to play!

[spoiler=I think I'm done now.]MX55gTQ.png

"That's probably the right answer. I think."

Character Name: "John" Creed

Age: 16

Sex: Yes

[spoiler=Appearance]

PUpHfH2.png

Hair is a dull lavender color. Wears color contacts, so his real eye color is questionable. Creed is 5'11" and clocks in at 173lbs

His Hero Costume is a red and pink full-body suit that has an upwards arrow design on the chest, separating the red and pink sections (red on top, pink on bottom). He also wears boots that are hooked on the bottom, similar to cleats, that will allow him to stand on a wall for a very short period of time, just long enough to be able to use his Quirk. He also wears a pair of aviator goggles that he wears normally, to both protect his eyes and hide where he is looking. His hair is also tied back in a small ponytail to keep it from going everywhere while jumping around.

[spoiler=Personality]

Contrary to his name, Creed is an absolute liar. Although he doesn't do it maliciously, he normally will lie about random, or irrelevant things, such as his age or his personal life. Oftentimes he'll make a lie completely outrageous just to see if people will believe him It's not as if he lies to brag, though. It's mostly just if he feels like the truth doesn't really matter. One of his hobbies is to make up an answer if someone asks about his personal life, and see if people notice inconsistencies. While most of his lies are small petty things that no normal person would care enough about to dispute, he is able to make much bigger and more important lies. Most people don't actually even know what his first name actually is, since he'll give a different answer each time someone asks.

In day to day life, he is somewhat lazy, and enjoys sleeping in more than anything. It takes him about an hour and a half to actually wake up and get out of bed. He is fully aware of this, and will often not sleep before something important, thinking that if he sleeps, he won't be up on time. It never goes well. In terms of actually doing work, he doesn't like to put in more effort than is actually required. If he has to write a five page essay, it will never be any longer than exactly five pages. His work ethic is somewhat linear and results-oriented, but in a lazy way. To him, it only matters that something gets done, not how much effort was put into it. Still, he manages to impress his superiors somehow.

Creed is extremely skilled at determining trajectories, and how momentum will transfer. He's used this knowledge effectively when playing carnival games, or when making bets in pool. People who know him don't ever want to play him, and he's gotten himself banned from an arcade before.

[spoiler=Biography]

Creed is the son of the hero Velocity, who was well known for his ability to fly as fast as Mach 7.5, which was the fastest of any flying quirk known so far, and the heroine Barrier Princess, who could create panels of light that could act as both platforms or shields. Naturally, Creed grew up with a lot of pressure on him to have a strong quirk like his parents and become a hero. When Creed's quirk first manifested, he didn't ever realize it. He initially focused too hard on having a quirk like his parents that he never met the requirements to activate his quirk. He went on until the age of 5 beleiving that he was Quirkless. He first discovered his quirk when he was wandering through the woods with a group of friends. One boy had slipped and fallen down a cliff, and Creed reached out to try to grab him. He was too slow, however, and missed his friend. At that point, when he thought his friend would die because of his failure, a blue square appeared just below his friend. When the boy landed on it, he rebounded about a half a foot into the air, and then landed on the ground. (It later turned out that the boy would have been fine anyway because it was only a five foot drop.)

Finally armed with a new quirk, he received his Quirk Counseling and started trying to practice with his parents. He had a hard time learning from them, since both of their Quirks were fundamentally different. It wasn't until the age of 12 that he was fully confident in the understanding of his quirk. His parents, still hoping to get their son enrolled in a hero course, wanted to give Creed the best education that they could give. Throughout his middle school years, he went to a private academy in America. Coming up on his high school age, his parents made the decision to enroll him in one of the best hero courses on the planet: U.A. High School in Japan. Funded by his parents, Creed moved into an apartment on his own and settled in. Creed's entrance exam went near flawlessly, earning 5th place in his group.

[spoiler=Quirk]Launch Pad

Creed can create up to 5 squares of light in desired locations that function as jump stands. The squares are just under a foot (about the length of a regular sheet of printer paper), and vary in opacity. These squares can float in the air or be embedded on a surface. When touched, the pad will propel Creed in the direction that it is facing, at a speed that varies based on the opacity of the square.

  • Initializing the Quirk: Before using Launch Pad, Creed must first initialize the quirk. It's near instantaneous and requires no special movements, but what initializing the quirk does is create 5 small red spheres of light that hover around Creed. Two will appear on his chest, two on each shoulder, and one on his back. These five spheres act similar to an MP gauge, with each sphere representing a Launch Pad at 20%. He can use more than one sphere to create a Launch Pad, using two spheres to create a 40% pad, three spheres to create a 60% pad, and so on, up to 100%. If Creed is not on a solid surface, he cannot initialize the Quirk. If it has already been initialized, if his feet are no longer on the ground (for example, if he walks around), the spheres will disappear and he'll have to reinitialize the Quirk. If a Launch Pad is used, Creed must reinitialize to get the spheres used for that pad back.
  • Creating Launch Pads: To create a launch pad, while both feet are on a solid surface, Creed simply needs to look in the direction where he wants the pad to be placed. The surface must be non-moving, so something like riding a skateboard won't work, but lying down with his feet on a wall will. An appropriate number of spheres will disappear, and a pink square will appear where desired, with the angle and speed that Creed chooses based on the number of spheres used. Pads placed at 40% opacity or higher experience a startup lag, with a 40% pad having to wait 2.5 seconds before becoming active, and increasing by 2.5 seconds each level, up to a 10 second wait for a 100% opacity pad. Additionally, once placed, a pad cannot be recalled or moved, and must be used for Creed to regain the spheres used.
  • Angle and Opacity: Each pad that is created will vary in opacity, from being almost transparent to being near opaque. At 20%, a launch pad will launch at about the speed of an Olympic sprinter (About 13 meters / second, or 29 mph). At max opacity, Creed can jump off of it at close to Mach 1, although doing that leaves him incredibly disoriented and unable to even stand for a few minutes. If Creed pushes himself off as he makes contact with the panel, he'll move faster than if he had not. A pad will also only launch at one angle, and is not visible from behind. An object that is traveling in the same direction as the pad is facing will not have any interaction with the jump pad, and will simply pass through instead. Similarly, non-solid objects, such as liquids or energy, will also not interact with a pad. To be able to interact with a jump pad, an object must hit the face of it at an angle of less than 180o.
  • Using a Launch Pad: If a launch pad is out, Creed will be propelled in whatever direction it is facing when he touches it. A launch pad exists for only a single use, and will disappear afterwards. However, Creed can also choose the target of a launch pad. He can use it on opponents and allies, either to give support or to create a trap. Launch pads can also be used on objects, although the rules behind it are different. If an object is moving towards a launch pad at a higher speed it would be launched at, the pad will instead disappear on contact and the object loses all momentum and will fall to the ground. However, if said object is moving at more than double the speed that the pad would launch at, the pad would disappear and the object would only lose momentum equal to what the pad would have launched them at. This only applies to people or objects other than Creed himself. If Creed is travelling faster than the pad's launch speed, he'll lose all momentum regardless of his own speed.

[spoiler=Miscellaneous]

  • Creed is allergic to most pets, dust, some medicines and literally every type of pollen. Also has a pseudo allergy to certain fruits, which causes slight itching in the throat when he eats them.
  • He absolutely hates the spring season because of allergies. He hates having to take almost three times a normal dose of allergy medications to be able to go outside.
  • He really likes pets, which is unfortunate because he is allergic.
  • Does not like being near U.A.'s school nurse, because she triggers his allergies.
  • He prefers to be called by his surname, Creed. If people ask what his first name is, he'll make up a name on the spot, copy the name of the person asking, or sometimes say he doesn't have one.
  • Once made his classmates believe that he had a son. This lasted for about a month, and he used his own baby pictures if someone asked for a picture.
  • Has an amazing poker face.
  • Is very skilled at picking locks. Not very relevant in the current era, but still situationally useful.
  • Creed is somewhat knowledgeable in hacking, able to access some hidden files or find a password sometimes, but he is still mostly amateurish in the area.
  • Likes to hustle people in billiards. Very skilled at trick shots.
  • While Creed's Quirk is well-suited for teamwork, Creed sometimes has trouble keeping track of his teammates, and may not always work well in a team-based combat environment.
  • Listens to music while doing most things, even while in combat. Depending on the situation, he'll wear headphones or blast it on a speaker for everyone to hear.
  • Carries around a small instant translation device, as he does not actually speak Japanese. It's almost unnoticeable.
[spoiler=His Parents and Their Quirks][spoiler=Velocity - Ernest Creed]Velocity was the owner of the quirk HyperSonic, which allowed him to fly at speeds exceeding Mach 5. His fastest recorded speed ever was 6,992.4 mph, just above Mach 9. His quirk also granted him super speed on the ground, but not at the same level as his flight capabilities were. On the ground, he was capable of running at about 700 mph, never being able to go past Mach 1 on the ground. In the air, he could accelerate from zero to Mach 1 in only 3 seconds. On the ground, he needs to run for about an eighth of a mile to reach his top speed.

[spoiler=Barrier Princess - Victoria SaVille-Creed]Victoria SaVille-Creed, otherwise known as The Barrier Princess, was born with the quirk Light Panel, allowing her to create panels of light that could function as both a shield and a platform. They can vary in size, unlike her son's Launch Pad, and are mint green instead of pink. They also have no propulsion properties, and once created, would simply exist until they were recalled or broken. She has a limit of 3, but she is able to create them while airborne, unlike Launch Pad.

[spoiler=Changes:]

x393wz.jpg
  • Changed the way the spheres function, now acting as an MP gauge instead of a counter.
  • Changed the opacity levels of the pads, now limiting it to only increments of 20%.
  • Added a startup lag to pads higher than 20%. 2.5 seconds for 40%, 5 seconds for 60%, etc.
  • Tweaked the way high-speed objects (or people) interact with pads.
  • Updated the Opacity Speed table.
  • Made other minor edits for clarity.
  • The changes should work to balance Launch Pad without changing the way it works overall. The changes also stay within what Creed already established in the IC.

This is a work in progress, if something is off, let me know.

[spoiler=Incomplete]

Character Name:Alex Allure

Age:15

Sex:Male

[spoiler=Appearance] u0bj7CG.jpg

Hight:5 feet 7 inches

Weight: 145 lb

[spoiler=Personality] Alex is a shy, quiet person. He tends to speak in whispers, and tends to stick to himself.The only place he really becomes social is in a place where her brain shows, like a science class, or something of that nature. He is truly kind, and loyal.

[spoiler=Biographaphy] Alex was born and raised in the city of NYC, specifically, Staten Island. He lived with his mom and pop, his mom being an Electrician( Electric Manipulation) and his pop being a doctor(healing quirk). They lived together in a standard apartment. At least they did, until tragedy struck in the subway. His Mom and Alex were trying to get back home after when a gang had held up the subway In Japan, his dad found work, so they moved. Alex had found the U.A., and thought that it may be the right way for him to become more social. He applied, and was accepted.

[spoiler=Quirk] Magnetic: Alex can manipulate his own Magnetic pull, either calling metallic objects, or pushing them. He can also change what type of magnetism he uses, with effort. His default is ferromagnetism.

The only real problem is that it takes lots of focus, and the heavier the object, the more mental strain, which can hurt him if he pushes to hard. And he has a very medium limit, about a motorbike at this stage.

Misc: Alex is agile compared to many people. His favorite tv show is Impractical Jokers, as the Jokers are from Staten Island as well.

[spoiler=Personality]Being used to not having the things that her peers had due to her lower-class background, Asami is not the type to complain or ever bother others with her concerns. She wears a perpetual poker face and seldom lets her feelings be known. Only occasionally, a repressed smile will appear on her face when she finds something amusing.

While Asami never takes the initiative to strike up a conversation, she has no reservations chatting and speaking about whatever comes to mind. Embarrassment is something she's managed to mostly harden her heart against and banish from her psyche, so she lacks the same shyness other socially inept people like her might have. However, sometimes she may say something insensitive, and upon realising it may offend someone, she will stop talking for a while. She genuinely enjoys the company of others, but simply was deprived of it. To those who treat her well, she can display a very fierce loyalty.

Asami has a very down-to-earth mindset and perspective which lets her see things clearly and think quickly on her feet. She's frugal and practical in mostly everything she does. Unlike others who may have high-reaching aspirations, she merely hopes that she may one day help her brother and also earn money for a comfortable living. This humility is another result of her upbringing, as she is actually quite competitive by nature. Most smaller things like sports and games will rile her motivation.

[spoiler=Biography]Asami comes from a lower-class household with a single mother and a brother five years older than her. Her father, a policeman, was killed by a villain when she was four. Although the incident deeply affected her brother, she only has vague impressions of the man.

Every day, her mother worked late and came home dead tired, so it was her big brother that always took care of her and did all the household chores. Having grown up following closely behind him, she took on some of his stoic nature and lacks many girlish qualities.

However, being like that, she was even bullied by the other kids until her brother found out and put a swift stop to it. Even without the bullying, she only made one friend, a quirkless otaku named Nao.

The living conditions of the Tachibana family took a turn up as her brother graduated from UA Hero Academy as valedictorian and was thus immediately able to enter the workforce to supplement their family's living expenses. Following her big brother's example, she also entered UA and hopes to let her mother live an easy life.

[spoiler=Quirk]Asami's quirk is simply called Cloak and is the power to make things invisible. How it works there is some invisible energy that spreads through direct contact, propagating through matter and letting light pass through it. She can freely control the flow of this energy, and it flows quite fast. This power is can also manipulating the matter's refractive index, though generally she makes things' refractive index equal to the refractive index of air. Things with a total volume of 1 cubic meter can be affected by this energy.

When direct contact with an invisible object is lost, all the cloaking energy quickly retracts, restoring an object to normal. It is much harder to turn herself invisible compared to turning other things, if she focuses all her cloaking power, she can only turn about 70% of herself invisible.

Applications of the ability include:

  • Turning melee weapons invisible.
  • Turning projectiles invisible while she is holding them for an element of surprise
  • Turning walls invisible to see through them.
  • Turning objects or even people invisible to sneak them past security.
  • Turning flesh invisible to aid with medical diagnosis and surgery. Can also make flesh have a different refractive index to merely be transparent instead of completely invisible.

[spoiler=Miscellaneous]

  • Her elder brother is Akio Tachibana, aka Teleporter, a rookie hero who has quickly risen to fame. He is also highly popular among teenage girls, and the Institution sees him as one of the faces of the third generation.
  • Although this is well into the age of technology, Asami is quite inept with technology.
  • Asami is an excellent artist.

I show much interest in this, but man, I haven't done one in a long time.

[spoiler=Aaron, Battery Quirk]

Character Name: Aaron Strom

Age: 16

Sex: Male

[spoiler=Appearance]KPk9ClC.jpg

Height: 5'8"

Weight: 195 lbs

He is stocky but naturally chubby looking when you really look at him. He has blue eyes and has semi-long brown, the point where it covers his ears, but keeps it cut in front. He likes wearing a blue, or black, lightweight jacket and blue jeans. Wears rubber-type gloves to not shock people by accident because of his Quirk. He wears pink earbuds, they hang in front of his shirt when not being used, and his trusty mp3 player hanging on his right belt loop.

[spoiler=Hero Suit(Light Cobalt Blue instead of Yellow)]

1e390e8d15fa4408f1db1b2c7053af8c--sci-fi

Aaron’s suit is to keep his electricity within the suit, preventing any unnecessary wasting. The inner lining is padded with an insulating material to keep the electricity, while the outer is made of conductive material to add a layer of combat protection using his quirk as an electric grid through his gloves and boots, which is the only piece of clothing that doesn’t have the insulator material for practical reasons

.

Above each wrist is a taser that can shoot out about 35 feet. The wires tips are claw-like instead of needles like most tasers making them harder to remove. If Aaron misses, the wires retract very quickly. The taser wires also act as a way of electrical absorption, stealing any type of electricity from cars to generators. The tasers give off the average 50,000 volts, like any taser, but Aaron can increase the voltage for stronger opponents. These wires can be cut off and can’t be used until repaired.

Aaron’s has a set of lightning rods, made of steel-titanium alloy coated with silver and the tips made of gold, that can be used as melee weapons like cattle prods. When the butt of a rod is slammed into a hard surface, it can be planted as a stationary rod to absorb Aaron’s missed electrical projectiles and store it. Any electric stored in the stationed rod can also send bolts of lightning toward Aaron via the other rod. It can only be removed by unnatural force(i.e. superhuman strength), or when Aaron comes into contact with the handle, releasing the cementing mechanism.

[spoiler=Personality] Naturally, he is very comedic, always wants to have fun and outgoing, but is an introvert and is easily discouraged when it comes to normal everyday stuff. He avoids confrontations as much as possible but is very susceptible to rant on someone if they are just annoying (hypocritical, I know). He is quite smart for someone his age, with an IQ of about 125, which enabled him to get in UA by recommendation. However, he is most known by friends and family back home as the “walking wiki”, because he knows a lot of information, sometimes useless, about whatever topic at hand. He will at times blurt out random facts without warning around those he is comfortable with, or as a method of an insult if pissed. When it comes down to it, he is always willing to help others in trouble, even if it is something that he hates doing.

When it comes to battle, he prefers to be more of a cherry picker in big fights but can hold his own in 1v1 situations. Overall, he tries to avoid much fighting as possible. He loves watching the UA High School Sports Festival and always wanted to be in it when he was younger, but is more hesitant to be doing it this year.

[spoiler=Biography] Aaron lives in a very wealthy middle-class home in Southern California with 3 siblings, an older sister, and a younger brother and sister. His father is a construction worker, so with the recent increase of quirk-based disasters, money pretty much flowed Aaron’s home. His parents are also working with The Quirk Foster Care Organization (OFCO), taking care of children with Quirks who were abandoned, parent killed, etc. Aaron is the only one in his family with a Quirk, so it was hard for his siblings to accept that fact alone that they will never receive one.

Aaron is musically and artistically inclined, playing at least 6 different instruments and being recognized by the Artistic community. However, he wants nothing more than a day to spend with friends and playing games, sports, and such. He never thought about being a hero, not even wanting a Quirk of any kind. After finding he had a Quirk, even if it was a rare one at that, he tried to keep it a secret, but like most situations, someone eventually found out. He now spends most of his alone away from others, except for a few close friends and family. Being accepted to such a prestigious school, even if it was on a recommendation, is such an achievement for his family, but Aaron is afraid of leaving his family and friends behind to go to Japan.

Though he may be a transfer, and older than most kids, he is willing to do whatever it takes to be as useful as he can be.

[spoiler=Quirk] Aaron’s Quirk is Battery: Much like a battery, Aaron starts out with at least 10K watts of electrical energy every day but can store about 100K (About as much as lightning at its greatest peak). He can release a small burst of electrical energy through means of touching conductive materials or can shoot big bursts out like lightning. The drawback is that if one uses too much energy in one day, they must either sleep or physically charge themselves. Some means of charging can be, literally, sticking a fork in an electrical socket. These would hurt non-Battery individuals, but it gives a wild boost of energy to the user at the cost of hurting power supplies. At least one charge can at least shut down power for a few minutes. Many do carry portable chargers around but that only gives about 75 – 400 watts of power in a few seconds.

Sleep is the best option for a regular charge, but if one has less than the 10k, it will refill up to that level. If one saved their 10k for the day, they have the chance of increasing their starting wattage the next day up to the 100k limit. The increase goes up about 5k watts every time, and that becomes the new minimum. It also is the same for physical appearances as well, the fitter the individual, their maximum can be increased by about 10k. The max and min are defined by Mental(minimum) and Physical(Maximum) strength. Both must be balanced to get the best out of this quirk, which is a reason why many die from their stored electricity, they either die from overuse and lack of using their energy. So, the starting minimum is about 10k and the maximum is 100k. Currently, Aaron's Min. is 11.5K and his Max is 110K

There are many people who have Quirks that can replicate electricity, such as Electrification, but they can’t recharge or increase their energy, except through sleep. However, only a few handful that has the Battery quirk. These individuals are the ones to go to with any type of major electrical problems. They are known to help with blackouts and major scientific progress, however, with the rareness of this quirk, many have gone with Spark users instead for such problems.

[spoiler=Abilities]

Aaron can enhance his body using a method called Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation, or EMS for short. Using his Quirk, he can stimulate his muscles to increase their strength, endurance, and recovery from injuries. However, only certain muscle groups can be stimulated at a time, and it only lasts between 5-8 minutes depending which muscles he affected. After it wears off, he can't restimulate them again unless he wishes to damage them from overuse, he must give them a rest, about an hour or 2.

Aaron also uses a technique called Earthing, which stimulates the electric filled cells in his body to help produce a more electrical charge. He uses this during standby moments to get himself ready.

[spoiler=Misc]

~Hates pasta, so much!

~No matter how kind he is, all dogs hate him. But it is the opposite for cats.

~Fights while listening to his music.

~"I hate how 'hate' isn't a strong password!"

~

[spoiler=Edits]

*4/20/17; 11:25 pm (Added some Background and Change "Spark" to "Electrification" in Quirk)

*4/21/17; 9:43 pm (Added some Personality and Background)

*6/6/17; 6:15 pm (Added some more personality because some people were giving me crap about whether or not how smart Aaron is. 125 is about post-graduate IQ)

*6/14/17; 10:17 pm (Added some info about what Aaron's Max and Minimum are)

*10/11/17; 10:38 pm (Picture added, and text set to be default color, font, and size. Yui was here)

*10/16/17; 8:53 pm (Changed some Personality traits(a majority of the traits I originally had are not fitting him anymore) and put his hero suit under Appearance)

*12/8/17; 7:30 pm (Added some info into Aaron's Quirk usage)

*6/4/18; 8:20 am (added a personality flaw)

[spoiler=time manipulation is op plz nerf]

iSJrFjl.png

"If I fail, I'll just try again."

Personal Information
Name: Asami Tachibana (橘 麻美, lit. Tachibana Asami)Age: 14Sex: Female
[spoiler=Appearance]Asami is quite short at 152 cm (~4'10") and has a slender physique (aka she's flat as a board) so she's very light.cb9cIhy.png

[spoiler=Personality]

[spoiler=Biography]Asami comes from a lower-class household with a single mother and a brother five years older than her. Her father, a policeman, was killed by a villain when she was four. Although the incident deeply affected her brother, she only has vague impressions of the man.Every day, her mother worked late and came home dead tired, so it was her big brother that always took care of her and did all the household chores. Having grown up following closely behind him, she took on some of his stoic nature and lacks many girlish qualities. However, being like that, she was even bullied by the other kids until her brother found out and put a swift stop to it. Even without the bullying, she only made one friend, a quirkless otaku named Nao who introduced her to the world of handheld consoles. The living conditions of the Tachibana family took a turn up as her brother graduated from UA Hero Academy as valedictorian and was thus immediately able to enter the workforce to supplement their family's living expenses. Following her big brother's example, she also entered UA and hopes to let her mother live an easy life.

[spoiler=Quirk]Asami's quirk is Save Point, one of the rare space-time manipulating powers. It allows Asami to leave an illusory projection of herself where she is, creating a Save Point there. She can return to that Save Point any time within one minute, resetting herself and any items on her body to the same condition she was in when she made the Save Point, this includes returning stuff like bullets to the clip but anything she ingests before returning is lost in the timeless void. Her memory is also reset when she returns to a Save Point making it quite a disorienting ability to use, but Asami has gotten quite used to it.The one thing that isn't reset is her ability charges, she can only have up to two charges of the ability at a time, and one charge is gained per forty seconds. With this recharge rate, if she is efficient, she can continually use the ability, but in tight scenarios it is impossible to spam. Creating a new Save Point currently overwrites the old one. Her ability to return can be prevented by interfering with the Save Point, such as by placing a rock there or even just shoving your hand there.

[spoiler=Miscellaneous]
  • Asami's most common use of the ability is actually to do homework and other chores, resetting her motivation so that she doesn't get tired and giving herself the illusion that things are just being done for her. This also ends up working in training her ability.
  • Her elder brother is Akio Tachibana, aka Teleporter, a rookie hero who has quickly risen to fame. He is also highly popular among teenage girls, and the Institution sees him as one of the faces of the third generation.

It reminds me off a Frick-Styled character, especially because of the save Points.

You are already in UA.

Also I have suggestive reviews for those of you who aren't in the skype chat.

[spoiler=Winter Kirby]

Everything in your app is A+...except your Quirk.  I give that a F--.  If you want to know why, you might want to look at X-Men: First Class.  Kinetic Energy absorption is an incredibly powerful ability, especially if you can transfer that to other, albeit, nonliviing objects for a short duration.  Being able to just absorb an explosion, punch, or bullet, seems a little too strong for a third generation novice.  We can discuss other quirks if you would like, in PM's or Skype.

[spoiler=JellisOP]

Haha magnetism puns.  That's the only thing I like in the app so far.  Magnetism is also a very strong ability, as you can basically control gravity with it if you are capable enough.  Also, even though it is a WIP, everything in your personality section at the moment screaaaaaaaaams overdone.  Change the quirk, and write a better personality, and it'll be a good start.

[spoiler=ScooterRulez]

I dig the Quirk Foster Care Organization, really cool world building thingy, and it makes total sense.  It's a good start for a WIP.  Maybe make his personality a lot longer.  Battery Life is relatively tame, and a good quirk in my opinion.  How do you feel about changing it to just "Battery"?  Quirk names are relatively simplistic in nature, and Battery Life just seems like its the same thing as just a Battery.

Mine definitely isn't as close to being OP as Shaw's version is. Creed's quirk deals only with mechanical kinetic energy, which is basically movement. What Creed's quirk basically is is he can take the energy from something like a bullet, and either put that energy into a punch, kick, jump, etc., or put it into something else like a baseball, and launch that baseball with the energy of a bullet. That baseball would go at about 260 mph, which is just under 3 times the speed of a major league fastball. A punch would go at about 80 mph, about 2.5 times a boxer's punch. Impart the energy into a car, it'll go about 3 miles per hour. That's if the energy is released immediately. Wait just a second, and the baseball's going about 175 mph, the punch goes about 55 mph, and that car's going 2 mph.

Shaw is a Marvel villain, of course he's broken.

I'm still tuning it too. After doing that math I'm going to increase the rate of loss, and then I'll do more calcs.

Also, I think my Skype is BoomKirby

I dunno, I use Discord more.

I will do so accordingly, and I did edit my app slightly, but will soon add my picture. . . but I don't know if I should post my picture I drew or an online picture. I am going to think about that, but I will post his height and such for now.

Also, my internet where I live isn't the best to hold a skype conversation, so a PM is better for me.

You could always do a written description if you aren't sure. Bar that, we're not exactly a community known to ridicule people for drawing their own character art so if it's a thing of being insecure about your artistic ability or something, don't worry. Unless you draw like this, you should be fine.

Yeah, nothing like the picture you have. It is good to say that "I have the artistic ability", but not very confident to show everyone. I will make a better picture, but for the time being, I'll write a description for him. Thanks Yui for that.

I updated my Character, with backstory and the suggested information.

So...don't take this the wrong way or anything, but I'm not really used to 'reviewing' apps.

First and foremost, you have neglected the length requirements for both the personality and the backstory.  Not to mention, you keep on switching between his and her in your app, but Alex is male.  Nitpicking, but a mistake nonetheless.  Your personality is still very vapid.  He's a loner...that's all you have.  Extremely one note, and no dimensions whatsoever.  You can greatly expand on your backstory with ease.  Why did the train accident happen?  Where did his father work?  Why did his father get fired?  It makes no sense why he would get fired after his wife dies, especially with a healing quirk.  Your Quirk also has a really nonchalant drawback.  It strains him?  In what way?  How long can he hold something up, how heavy of a motorbike can he lift, and how long does it take him to lift it.

As it stands, your app is unacceptable.
