Huh, so I was right with my theory back in the fusion thread. This is... interesting, I guess. It's just, this new bout of support is confusing, since Red-Eyes weren't really all about equips, and this just... I swear Konami have no idea what they want from Red-Eyes, which I believe now has more support than bleeding Blue-Eyes at this point.

I introduce to you...

...Reason number 1 to re-tech Black Metal Dragon!

Also really, fellas? MOAR Graveyard revival for Red-Eyes? Cause Return of the RE, RE Spirit, Silver's Cry, Return of the Dragon Lords, Meteor Black Comet Dragon, ANNNNNNNNNNNNND RE Wyvern wasn't enough.

But still, good card.

What about REDMD, I do not intend to nitpick, however it is highly searchable and actually extends these revivals with more revivals. ... oh yea and: "Red-Eyes Time Wizard next".

Oh so this is what you're suppose to use the Fusion with. They want to go with the equip round now, Red-Eyes just don't know what the hell it wants, I guess that's just how the era was.

it was stated to be the dragon of potential, while blue eyes is the dragon of power. the fact that it has so many branching variants kinda lends credence to that idea... then again, they might just have a boner for red eyes like they do for black wings.
