Supreme King White Dragon - Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon

Level 8

DARK

Dragon/Synchro/Pendulum/Effect

Scale 10

ATK 3000/DEF 2500

Synchro Materials: 1 DARK Tuner + 1 "Clear Wing" non-Tuner monster

Pendulum Effect: Once per turn, if a monster you control battles an opponent's monster, before damage calculation: You can make that monster you control gain ATK equal to the current ATK of the opponent's monster it is battling until the end of the Damage Step (even if this card leaves the field).

Monster Effect: If this card in the Monster Zone is destroyed: You can place this card in your Pendulum Zone. You can only use each of the following effects of "Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon" once per turn.

● You can target 1 Effect Monster your opponent controls; it has its effectsnegated until the end of this turn.
● During either player's Battle Phase, if this card was Synchro Summoned: You can destroy all Level 5 or higher monsters your opponent controls.

funk you Konami. Now its the worst Pendulum hybrid card

i'm disappointed that this is so weak

not because of the summoning condition, but because i want to Odd-Eyes Fusion it to the grave then copy it with SKSD Starving Venom

card that can pick up pendulums in grave and place them into scales

other than d/d

Well, at the very least it can still be summoned using tuning magician + oafdragon magician, into fast dragon, into this. On top of that its scale is still amazing and its pendulum effect is amazing ... its negation can actually out monsters like timelords (something the clear wing line was not able to do) and the destruction can be used during the opponent's battle phase ... yea I am just trying to see at least something positive about it, however ... ugh, that negation should have really been spell speed 2, that would have sufficed, however no, it does not even get that. Edit: Still my second favourite odd-eyes (enter part of a dimensional dragon's name) dragon ... eh, they still need to print the performapal scale 10 and 12, whitest hell armageddon and the odd-eyes gate cards.

Further edit: Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon actually turns this card into a playable card, considering it can turn it into a cheap scale 10 with an honest clause.

It's a decent card to summon with Gate Zero, and that's enough for me. You can then use it as SKSD Starving Venom fodder and later put it in the scale with Odd-Eyes Mirage Dragon. I really like it.

EDIT: Or just pop it to put it in the pend zone lol

While I do wish the negation effect was SS2 and it gained ATK by using either effect, they'd likely have to make it a ball ache to Summon if they did, since then you'd be able to float into a Crystal Wing tier thing.

They had to keep this on a leash for two reasons:

1) lol if you thought this was keeping its anime effect

2) Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon

I'm undecided on if I'll trade my Meteorburst for this...

You'd think they'd actually remember "Must be Synchro Summoned" by now

Which is especially relevant because this is an Ultimaya target, and any gripes peeps had with that could have also been solved by same clause

Yea, however Ultimaya is significantly weaker than it used to be, not to mention Crystal Wing does not have any restriction either. Which means for these purposes it would make no sense to restrict a (for these purposes) strictly worse monster.

The idea is that if it had that restriction, it could have a stronger effect in the first place :V

It would still be not good because summoning conditions > effects but at least it would be alright to actually make it stronger than Crystal Wing, given its regular summoning conditions.

Odd-Eyes Venom Dragon is basically unsummonable due to its "Must be Fusion Summoned" clause, and I'm glad that they didn't repeat that mistake with this card. Gate Zero didn't have any good targets until this was made.

idk where you're getting that

venom is the easiest one to summon, because there are maindeck Odd-Eyes and there's a Starving Venom that can be made with any 2 DARK Pendulums

I've summoned it multiple times, though it's usually overkill, which is a bigger problem than summoning conditions.

It's honestly better to send it to grave with Odd-Eyes Fusion then make SKSD Starving Venom to copy it, if you need to use it.

huh, maybe my build's off.

Although it is using post-link cards with pre-link rules, so perhaps that's it.

Regardless, I never felt the need to invest so much into summoning OE Venom. I would however summon this card and OE Raging Dragon often, using the effects of the Gates. Also, Venom's Pendulum effect sucks, so there'd be no point doing that.
