[spoiler=Card A]bkmtHka.jpg

[based of Nephthys from Shadowverse]

Nephthys

Level 8 - DARK

[ Spellcaster / Fusion / Effect ]

2 or more DARK monsters with different names whose total Levels/Ranks exactly equal 8.

Must be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by sending the above cards you control to the Graveyard, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. (You do not use "Polymerization".) If this card is Special Summoned: You can Special Summon as many DARK monsters with different names from your Deck as possible, and if you do, destroy them, ignoring any card and effect that would prevent the cards from being destroyed. You can only use this effect of "Nephthys" once per turn. Once per turn, during your opponent's turn, if a card(s) you control is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can target 1 card your opponent controls for each card destroyed; destroy it.

[ ATK 2850 / DEF 0 ]

[spoiler=Card B]akroma__angel_of_fury_by_bdsceptyr-db6na

[based of Akroma, Angel of Fury from Magic: The Gathering]

Akroma, Angel of Fury

Level 8 - FIRE

[ Fairy / Flip / Effect ]

FLIP: Declare 1 Attribute; while this card remains face-up on the field, it cannot be destroyed by battle against a monster with the declared Attribute, also it is unaffected by the effects of other monsters with that Attribute.

Cannot be Special Summoned in Attack Position. If your opponent controls a monster that was Special Summoned from the Extra Deck and you control no monsters, you can Normal Set this monster without Tributing a monster. Once per turn, during either player's turn, if this card is in face-down Defense Position: You can reveal it and pay 2400 LP: Flip Summon this card.

[ ATK 2400 / DEF 2400 ]

Gonna vote Card C.

I can't assess flavor very well, but flavor means nothing if the design is severely lacking.

Nepthys is plain unfair. It isn't difficult to summon, it kills 4 DARKS, proving destruction/send to grave/other grave effects along the way, and your reward for this is a 2850 beater with a destructioneffect on top of it all.

Akroma, however, is useless. ED toolboxes exist, and many decks are multi-attribute, so the protection is mediocre at best. Needing an opponent to control an ED a monster while you have none... to pay 2400 to flip it up is weak as hell, because it still consumes your normal. Immortal Hermit of Thunder is a special summonable Level 7 at any time for 3K lp, which should show how weak this is.

i forgot that card C votes existed for a minute, but both of these demonstrate a basic lack of design knowledge. Maybe they're super flavorful, but sometimes you have to give up a bit of flavor to make a design actually work.

I'm going for Card C as well.

Card A:

The card is is easily accessible and pseudo-milling up to 4 DARKs and trigger their grave or on-destruction effects is such a nasty thing to do. Maaybe it would have been fine if it just Summoned 1, or also negated those effects, effectively supporting cards that require X number of DARKs in the grave, setting up grave fodder, triggering other cards that activate when a card is destroyed like Supply Squad or whatever, etc. Then the last effect further punishes the opponent. Also, I wish the name was more flavorful: I mean, just "Nephthys" is kinda bland and could even conflict with any future "Nephthys" support since Phoenix and Hand of Nephthys are things; but meh, this is just a nitpick from me.

Card B:

Really underwhelming. Paying 2400 for its no-Tribute Set while you are at field disadvantage doesn't look like a good deal, and only for a 2400/2400 stat monster with protection from 1 of the 7 available Attributes? I don't see it lasting long on the field. Being unaffected by monsters with that Attribute anywhere, including grave, banished, or hand, is a cool perk but still, is not enough to back this card up.

I should have some time left to get a vote in, so...

Card A is busted as hell, especially given the mass DARK summoning and subsequent destruction, which is also layered with yet more destruction. Yeah, no. Also the fact that this card can be summoned out rather quickly in DARK oriented Decks, which I think nowadays in terms of relevancy are PKs, Predaplant and some other stuff. I mean, I guess it fuels the summon conditions for some of the Dark counterparts / DAD banish fodder, but this is doing way too much.

Card B's immunity to a certain Attribute is cute, but a reminder that most Decks do run varied Attributes in the ED / such, so card isn't going to last very long otherwise. Yeah, I guess you get a 2400 ATK 'mon without Tributing if you go second, but that's all this card can do (and given how often the ED is used, you're summoning this card once the opponent has an established board up). Flip Summon effect is meh. Like Black mentioned, we got Immortal Hermit, which has 300 more ATK, can be Special Summoned without any strings attached (well, 3K LP payment, but w/e) and revives your LP if it goes away.

(I guess you can block this card from getting popped by mono-Attribute stuff, but yeah...)

====

Voting C as well; A is over the line with destruction on top of destruction, and B just doesn't do enough.

Does 3 C's equal a draw?
