Tinkerer
Partial RebornQuick-play SpellTarget 2 monsters with different names in your Graveyard; discard 1 card, and if you do, Special Summon those targets in face-down defense position. They cannot be Flip Summoned, also, when they leave the field, banish them. You can only activate 1 "Partial Reborn" per turn. There really aren't that many good Spells that discard. There's Twin Twisters and (conditionally) Lightning Vortex. Most of the rest pretty much stink. I kinda wanted to make one that was ok.
Snatch Steal
Lightning Vortex is also trash. You forgot Dark World Dealings and Phoenix Wing Wind Blast. I suppose this card has application in Ghostrick because they get flipped up by Merry-Go-Round. I don't think the discard should be necessary, because the cards you summon with this have to either be Flip monsters that your opponent needs to attack into or you need to have...um...Book of Taiyou?Basically, a set monster doesn't really do anything. You can't use it as a material except for a Ritual or Tribute Summon, and it clogs your field if your opponent doesn't touch it. Besides, there are plenty of ways to get rid of Decks that do this, such as with cards like Ultimate Conductor Tyranno and Raigeki. Also, clarification: what if they are attacked? Tinkerer
LV is trash only because better options exist. In terms of discard spells, it and TwiTwi (I believe) are the only ones with the potential to pay for themselves (and PWWB is a trap anyway so it's excluded). That was the full point behind making this. Couldn't flesh it out as I had to run to class. I intended it to be usable with Links, but does that not work when they're face-down? Clarification: if they're attacked, they get flipped as per usual. You aren't flip summoning them.
Tinkerer
Bump. I would like clarification on whether this can beused with Links or not. If not, I'll need to change it up somewhat.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Bump. I would like clarification on whether this can beused with Links or not. If not, I'll need to change it up somewhat. Links cannot exist face-down and/or in Defense Position, so answer is no. (Recall that they have no DEF stat so to speak.) Tinkerer
No, I meant for the summoned monsters to be used as link material, not whether this can bring back links.
Darj
AFAIK you cannot use face-down monsters as Link Material, just like they can't be used for Synchro Summons either. I assume it would only be possible if a Link monster is released that specifically requires face-down/Set monsters.

Back to the drawing board I guess. Thanks all for your input!
