"Yeah...actually Aaron, that doesn't sound bad. I'm gonna have Terro help me out in regards to teaching me how to actually fight...cause he's like the best person to teach me."

"Oh, yeah, at least the offer is out there." Aaron laid back as he watched the rest of the match unfold as Mike propelled himself and completely obliterated Terro leaving Mike the winner. "Well, that's the end of this tournament, I'm going home. See ya." Aaron got up from his seat and started to make his way back to where he stored his hero costume and other things he bought to the arena.

After making his way back to the room and grabbing his things, he decided to watch the award ceremony in a nearby waiting room as he checked his wattage. He noticed that Val wasn't up on stage with Akira, maybe she was too injured from her fight with Terro. Either way, it was good to see his classmates up on stage. And with closing remarks from Suna and Madam Mic, Aaron started to proceed out the door-

BGM

"So this is what the so called 'heroes' like to do in their spare time?  Make young children fight? Despicable."  Aaron looked back in the room to see that some dark figure now on the screen. At first, it must have been a rival school prank hacking into the feed, but Aaron had bad feelings about this on multiple grounds, both mentally and physically He quickly unpacked his hero costume and proceeded to change back into his outfit as the figure continued to speak.  "A tradition of violence for the sake of violence, and nothing more. Making the future generation fight for your entertainment is not what those who prance around spewing silly ideals should do.  Think of the quirkless masses! Will their children be used as fodder in upcoming events? To show how powerless they truly are against the population that is going to wipe them out?!" Aaron ran out of the room and headed back towards the stands as the figure speech continued to echo through the halls. "Think of the poor citizens of Kashyyyk, who were wiped away in a mere instant thanks to the inaction of your heroes! I cannot sit idly by, and watch the future be overrun by these barbaric monsters!  We are the Quirkless Liberation Front! We will make sure that history will forget this bleak turnout, and ensure the survival of all Quirkless people from here on out! Everyone who is unsatisfied with the current system, rise with us!  Together, we shall take the future from those trying to seize it for themselves! We can go back to the old ways...we only need to be rid of one thing. Heroes."

As Aaron got to an open, the stadium was very much stagnant as everyone was fixed on the screen. He looked around frantically as tried to figure out what was going to happen, none this felt like a prank of any sort to him, something bad was going down.

"And we shall start...here!"

In those final words, Aaron felt to his left a great rumble then a loud crash as debris flew upwards from the stands causing the nearby halls to collapse trapping whoever was in. The cause was a gigantic lizard monster, the one that would be seen from old Japanese movies. As it gave off a mighty roar, 2 or 3 figures could be seen from Aaron's view, but not as clear for all the panicking people running into him as they fled for their lives. Aaron pushed through the crowd getting into a clearing helping up people that have fallen as he got a better view of the figures on top of the kaiju. He could see 4 individuals, 1 big cloaked person, 2 women, and a young girl, however, out of these 4, "The masked one! They were at Kashyyyk! That must mean-" Before finishing his thought, out of the corner of his eyes, rushing towards the crash was Sayuri. Not knowing what was going on with her, he had to at least get with her to see what she was doing. Enhancing his body, he jumped down to the next set of stands and ran towardsthe crash site.

Mike

Everything that happened after his victory had felt like some kind of dream, an unreal, ethereal experience that Mike just simply floated through. Even with a strong dosage of energy gels and protein bars after the final fight, before the award ceremony, Mike found that after using his quirk as much as he did, even with the boosts he got, exhaustion eventually caught up to him.

Madam Mic went to each of the top three finalists, handing them their medals one by one, ending finally by handing the gold medal to Mike. He did his best to stand there, looking alert, but when the cameras had zoomed in on each of them the subtle fog that covered his eyes was clear to anyone that looked closely enough.

"Well surprise me why don't you?" Suna said, passing by Mike. "I thought I'd have to deal with Otoma or Tomoaki right here... but you're proving yourself to be a class A hero. Although, can't say I'm entirely happy about a Canadian taking the whole thing, I'll respect your win here. I'm expecting more from you."

Mike allowed a grin to escape his lips. The other thing that felt like a dream was the realization that he had actually done it, that after all his hard work it had all paid off. Suna's words egged at the back of his mind, reminding him that this was simply a beginning and not the mountain's peak, but for now he allowed himself the grace of relaxing and relishing in the victory.

For as long as he could.

A loud boom echoed through the stadium and the broadcast was soon hijacked, murmurs of fear spreading through the crowd like wildfire. The figures in the feed introduced themselves as the Quirkless Liberation Front and denounced the heroes for their actions and especially their inability to protect Kashyyk. Mike felt his fingernails dig into his palms as he glared at the screen. "That was not our fault," he growled under his breath.

In no time, the far wall of the arena burst out from within, and as the dust cleared four figures stood, three on top of the fourth, a giant of a lizard man. Adrenaline spiked through Mike, though despite his body's attempt at readying him for battle he still felt weak and exhausted. He eyed each of the villains individually, and finally recognized the crystals that orbited one of them. The words of the villains from Kashyyk rang through his ears, and one thought crept forward in his mind: Asuka.

The beast roared and Mike stood frozen in place. Terro's words to Akira felt distant and unclear, and despite all efforts to try and come up with a plan for what to do, even something as simple as running away, Mike's mind felt blank. The three of them were in the middle of everything, and even if he had to join the heroes in the fight, he wasn't sure of what he could do. Definitely nothing nearly as big as what he had done to beat Akira and Terro.

After moments of much more effort than it took, Mike sent a moderately strong surge of energy into his suit, its lights glowing bright as it charged up. Even with the energy supplements he had taken, he could clearly feel a chunk of his attention and awareness slip. Regardless, he was standing and he could still do something.

But whatever that was, he had to make it count.

Contrasting the grueling build up, the battle's finale all happened in a flash. It couldn't have been more than a second after Akira's outburst that Terro was flattened against the arena wall, sounds loud enough to hurt the eardrums coming from speakers and audience alike. It took a few seconds more for Akira to gain a proper sense of where he was, what was going on. Releasing his grip on the railing, he could see a thin layer of hard light across his palm and his fingers, with imprints on the rail to match. "Looks like your words of encouragement helped him a little.  Way to go hero." Looking back over his shoulder, he could see Gin's fangirl looking down at the remnants of the fight, apparently quite pleased with the result.

Encouragement? Akira paused for a moment, collecting his thoughts and piecing together the events of the fight. "Ah, yeah. I guess they did."

c9SYpcu.png

The short intermission, during which all the rubble was cleaned from the arena floor, flew by Akira, as he was shuffled into the spotlight once again. His thoughts lie elsewhere, as the medals were passed out to the top three. The other girl, who fought Terro earlier, wasn't present. She must have been busy with something else. He could feel the bronze medal be dropped around his neck, and Mr. Takeda said something to him, but the message was hardly received. What the hell was that wing I made earlier? It felt completely different from when I normally use my quirk. Akira's wandering mind also prevented him from taking note of the sudden takeover of the stadium's feed. He could tell that things were being said, but they didn't seem like anything he would particularly care about, until...

"And we shall start... here!"

With a loud crash, a creature that Akira could only describe as a dinosaur wrapped in exposed muscle burst through the wall of the arena. And then... Then it roared. Like the sound of a thousand avalanches colliding with each other, it started deep, and rumbling, and crested with a chain of explosions. This was not the sound of an animal. This was the sound of a force of pure destruction. What was even worse though, was the sound that came afterward. Hundreds, maybe more, muffled screams, the pleas of people who could do absolutely nothing to help themselves, muffled by the plumes of dust filling the air. Atop the monster stood four figures. Three of them were unfamiliar to Akira, he couldn't recall having seen them before, but the fourth was one he recognized in an instant. Bloodstone. Asuka's mother. Having her here must be hell for Asuka, but unfortunately there were more pressing matters at the moment. She can take care of herself. For now, I need to-

"Akira, can you help the people?" the voice came from the second-place podium. Glancing up at the other two finalists, he realized that they were much worse-for-wear than himself. Though Nurse Nyan had done work to help all three of them after their fights, Akira's injuries were very minor, not to mention the fact that the other two had fought far more recently. "Mike and I are too tapped out, and the heroes more than likely will be facing the lizard. Can you help the people stuck among the rubble?" Terro confirmed Akira's thought. Of the three, he was the only one even near full capacity. Mike was charging up his suit, but he had to be running on empty after a day like this.

"You two need to get out of here." Akira stepped down from the third place position, onto the proper floor of the stadium. Third place... Kind of embarrassing, really. But now wasn't the time for that. "Neither of you are good to fight after the day you've had. I'm not far off of 100% at this point." Akira's hair lifted slightly above its resting position, giving the appearance of a light updraft, as tiny particles of hard light materialized around him, dissolving just as quickly. Proper stretching was important before heavy exertion, after all. Tightly flexing the fingers of his left hand, a series of pops sounded from his knuckles, as a huge arm, on the same scale as Terro's colossal crusher, appeared floating behind Akira. "Try not to die on the landing, they'll need you up there." Akira lifted his right hand, pointing a finger outward toward where the majority of their classmates resided in the stands. His left hand went back, pantomiming the actions that his construct made, scooping up both Terro and Mike in its grasp.

"Hard Light: Sunset Knuckleball!" Doing his best to match the form he saw Mike use in their fight, he brought his left hand forward, stepping forward with his right leg in matching pace. The giant arm moved along with him, throwing the top 2 finalists to where they could do more good. "Good luck, dumbasses." Turning back toward Suna, and the intruding villains in turn, Akira rose both arms in front of him, as a second construct appeared to match his right arm. The pair of arms moved inward toward him, wrapping around his own arms. "I can't imagine you are going to let me fight the villains are you?" Akira wasn't sure how anyone but him could match that giant creature, without Omega Star present, but decided to defer to the pro's judgment. Otherwise he could just end up in the way, no matter how strong he was.

"I can't imagine you are going to let me fight the villains are you?"

Suna looked towards Akira, who had already prepared a construct to fight with.  He couldn't help but smile, but it quickly turned sour.

"Doesn't matter how capable you are, kid.  You don't have a license.  As your teacher, I can't allow you to put yourself at risk of the law, or at risk of your life for that matter."  He turned towards Akira.  "Besides, who do you think we are?  We didn't just get here by picking roses, you know?  We can handle this.  Although, there's nothing in the law that prevents you from helping people.  Go do that.  Now."  Suna turned back towards the scene.  A large group of heroes had already assembled around them.

"Do we have any heavy hitters to deal with that big thing?"  A masked man asked behind Principal Glory.

"Omega Star has her hands full.  One prison after another keeps getting let out with an explosion, all over Japan."  He replied.

"Erhem."  Suna cleared his throat, walking past the two.  "I won't make the same mistakes here that I made in Kashykkk.  I'll make it up to my students."  With that, an extreme grinding sound could be heard behind them, as the stage itself began to twist and turn.  It was revealed that beneath the stadium, sand was grinding down the stone of the arena to make even more of itself.  With one hand shot out, the sand traveled incredibly fast.  It was enough to make a shadow over all of the heroes, as it crashed into the large dinosaur.  It wrapped around, and held the monster in place.  However, Suna was struggling to keep hold of it as the monster thrashed about.  He stuck out another hand to help stabilize his quirk, but his arms were still trembling.  "Alright, I've got a hold of this guy for a bit.  That should mean that they'll have to come to u-"

"We'll have to come to you?"  A familiar voice rang out from beneath a mask.  The giant man among the villains had sprang to the arena floor in an instant, landing in the middle of all of the heroes.  The figure then disrobed himself, revealing the Beast they had fought in Kashykkk.  "Surprised?"  Wendigo creaked, as he wound up a punch aimed for Suna's side.  Suna looked in that instant, just to feel his stomach sink into his feet.  He started to shake even more so.  His fake arm was starting to deteriorate away.  Wendigo launched his punch, but was soon met with Mako's fist.  The collision sent a shock wave through the air that blasted most of the heroes back, besides Principal Glory.

"You the one that hurt my friend over there? That hurt my friend's class?"  Mako said, his eyes deep with hatred.  Mako followed through with his punch, sending Wendigo's arm back, and pushing him away.  "That ain't gonna fly..."  Mako said solemnly, as he rushed back in to take another swing at the Beast Man.  Mako then sensed something invisible coming from him at the side.  He put up an arm to block the attack, only for it to hit him in the ribs.

"Oh?  So you can see that thing too?"  Wendigo cackled.  "Must be a shark thing.  I had a little snack before I came here...just in case you know?  GAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"YOU BASTARD!"  Mako roared, as he fended off the invisible force and inched closer towards Wendigo.  He would never make any ground at the rate he was going.  However, a flash of Silver rang through the air, as it struck Wendigo in the chest.  Principal Glory held his sword at his side.  It held a U.A. logo on it's hilt.

"I see that some assistance is required.  This is no mere villain...this guy is pure evil."  Wendigo traced the cut on his chest and brought it closer to his mouth, lapping up what he had gathered on his fingers.

"You flatter me, heroes."  He said with a raise of his eyebrows.  In the background, a multitude of heroes were climbing up the bridge of sand Suna had created to try their hand at taking down the Giant Lizard.  The other villains that had stood atop her head had all but disappeared by now, leaving the little girl alone.  As the heroes advanced, she pouted.

"Geez.  They just don't give up do they?"  With that, from out of her jacket's pockets, she pulled out twenty small lizards.  She concentrated hard as they squirmed in her palms.  "DONE!"  She squealed, as she threw them out onto the sandy bridge.  The started to twitch and convulse, and in an explosion of scales, were turned into large, human-sized creatures that began to charge mindlessly towards the heroes.  Some had fallen off the bridge, and proceeded to move about the stadium, trying to attack whatever was in sight.

Wherever Terro and Mike ended up, they would hear the deafening roar of screams.  Soon, a crash would come through the wall nearest Terro, revealing a large and imposing figure of a man before them.  The man stared daggers at Terro.

"You have disappointed me for the last time."  He said, before launching a straight towards him.

Ino was trembling in fear.  Her fear was causing her to rumble the floor beneath her, as she watched the teachers fight off the villains.  She looked to Isami and Asuka in wide-eyed terror.  It was happening all over again.  Could she really be a hero if she was this afraid right now?

"The two of you, come with me, we're going to..."  Asuka was the first one to pull herself together...somewhat.  Her pause kept Ino on pins and needles, the shrieking of citizens permeating her eardrums.  "We're going to get everyone out of here. We can't let Mam--We can't let Bloodstone get her hands on them."

Ino shook her head.  She wondered why Asuka said Bloodstone in particular to just villains, but she decided to shrug it off.  Even though she was shaking, she still had to do something that anyone could do...save someone without fighting.  A simple concept in writing, but in practice seemed pretty hard.

"My Quirk isn't necessarily good for evacuations...it usually causes them...but I'll help you both in any way I can!  So let's get to it!  I'm counting on you two!"

Watching all of this go down was making Gin's arms restless in their slings.  The heroes were fending off the villains for sure...but he sure did want to give Wendigo a taste of his latest attack.  He wouldn't be able to regenerate from an attack like that.  Asuka yelling behind him snapped him out of his rather murderous pondering.

"Otoma!" she called out, leaning against the railing and only hoping he could hear her. "Don't fight them! There's no way we can beat the villains, but we can get the civilians out of here! I'm begging you, focus on that first!"

"WHAT THE HELL WAS I GONNA DO!?"  He said, lifting his elbows to show off his arms without much pain.  "IDIOT!"

Then something hit his arm from the side, and fell to the ground.  It was Sayuri's whiteboard, which had landed face-up.

BzqRu12.png

"GREAT!"  Gin groaned.  His phone started to vibrate, as he got an alert.  It could only have meant two things...and both were equally as terrifying.  His face darted around the seats, only finding one person he recognized.  He went up to the quivering mass of flesh and kicked her in the leg.  "You!  We gotta get out of here.  Pack it up and let's move it."  Erika looked back up at him.  Her head had been tucked into her legs ever since she saw that creature crash into the stadium.  "C'MON!  WE DON'T HAVE TIME!"

"You're...saving me?"  She said.

"No!!!"  He groaned again, throwing his head back.  "You're saving...."  He had to try his damn hardest to spit the words out, it was incredibly embarrassing, "me!"

As Valerie made her way through the halls of the infirmary, she would be stopped in her tracks by Nurse Neko.

"Ms. Clark!"  She said, every hair on the end of her body stuck up.  "We're evacuating now!  There's been an atta-....wait....you weren't planning on going out there were you?!"  She grabbed a hold of Valerie and started running with her.  "You're a student, Ms. Clark!  You don't have to put yourself in danger for us pros!  We can handle ourselves!"

"The school nurse should be around here somewhere."  A voice could be heard around the corner.

"Oooooh!  I hope she's got candy on her."

As the two were about to round said corner, two women would stop them in their tracks.

"Why hello there."  The older-looking one said.  It made Nurse Neko stop right in her tracks as their eyes met.  As a matter of fact, every muscle in her body tensed up, as her grip around Valerie's wrist remained stagnant.  She couldn't let go.  "Now that we have their healer in our hands...it's going to be a pretty sticky situation for the rest of them out there, isn't it?  Fuhfuh."  Her grin turned devious, as she remained in eye contact with Nurse Neko.

"Ohhh!  So now's the part where I kill 'er right?!"  The younger-looking girl asked.

"No.  The boss says he wants her for another purpose.  She's coming back alive.  Although...he did tell us no witnesses."

The younger one looked past Nurse Neko to spot Valerie.  Her eyes lit up with excitement as her gelatinous hair began to extend towards the 1-B student.  As it did, small globs dripped from it, falling to the floor and making a slight sizzling sound.

"Oh she looks like a fun little toy!!!  I wonder if she'll scream!  Eheh!"

"Run."  Nurse Neko managed to get out, but just barely.

Isami felt almost smug as he watched Mike do his finishing move, just as he had expected, although the cheering from Akira was not something he was expecting in the slightest. "I told ya!  I told ya!  Mike had this in the bag!  Let's go 1-A!  YEAH!" Isami simply rolled his eyes, chuckling slightly. He saw Asuka get up, dropping her ice cream onto the floor. The boy applauded alongside the audience, it had been a very exciting battle to watch.

As the victory ceremony was playing out, however, the giant monitor broke into static. Suddenly, a broadcast from somewhere else started playing.

"So this is what the so called 'heroes' like to do in their spare time? Make young children fight? Despicable. A tradition of violence for the sake of violence, and nothing more. Making the future generation fight for your entertainment is not what those who prance around spewing silly ideals should do. Think of the quirkless masses! Will their children be used as fodder in upcoming events? To show how powerless they truly are against the population that is going to wipe them out?! Think of the poor citizens of Kashyyyk, who were wiped away in a mere instant thanks to the inaction of your heroes!"

Isami froze in place as the group crashed into the stadium riding a gigantic lizard, it's muscles steaming alongside the debris of the wreckage it was causing. They were quite a bit away, but Isami almost instantly recognized the girl that was on top of the beast. "Shiki..." Isami muttered, eyes wide open as he saw the beast rampaging through the stands. He wasn't sure what to do, his instincts screaming at him to abandon everyone and get to safety immediately. "No... I'm... I'm a hero now... She... she wouldn't run from... from this..." Isami found himself fighting himself, gripping onto the railing to fight the urge to dart out of there.

"The two of you, come with me, we're going to..." Asuka's voice broke his trance, as the boy turned to the girl. Isami nodded, loosening his grip on the bars. "We're going to get everyone out of here. We can't let Mam--We can't let Bloodstone get her hands on them." Isami took a deep breath, his eyes glaring right at the gigantic lizard. He had to help, even if he was scared.

As Asuka was shouting over the railings, Isami was starting to slowly make his way towards the lizard, his lower half shifting into a serpentine form. By the time Asuka was telling them to go, Isami was already heading there, slithering as fast as he could. He wasn't sure what exactly he was going to do, but whatever it was he was going to help.

By the time they had gotten there, large raptor-like reptiles were running around, attacking anyone that they laid their eyes on. In particular, two of them were attacking a group of civilians. Isami, having slithered ahead of everyone, instinctively lunged at the group of raptors, a primal rage in his eyes. Suddenly, the boy transformed into a titanic snake, a monstrous hiss coming out of his mouth. He bared his teeth, spit spraying out of his mouth, as he sunk his fangs right into one of the raptors, poison creeping into it.

"My Quirk isn't necessarily good for evacuations...it usually causes them...but I'll help you both in any way I can! So let's get to it! I'm counting on you two!"

Asuka nodded. She still wasn't entirely certain of this. But she had to do something! As she followed behind Isami - slithering down and engaging a couple of the raptor creatures Shiki had produced - Asuka began generating crystals from her arms. The tank and mask - even if they weren't empty - were put away in a locker room between rounds. With the relative lack of pockets on her Hematite costume - something she still hadn't changed out of - as well as the lack of bottled water or other drinks on her person, she'd have to make these crystals count. ...eight... ten... ... twenty. That's as far as I'm willing to go right now.

Using the railing a couple rows up from Isami's rather impressive snake form as a footstool, Asuka leapt forward, toward the raptors, as four of her crystals gathered near her hand, and the crystals begun rapidly spinning in place, faster and faster as their momentum built up. She was thinking about the fight instant to instant; there wasn't enough time to breathe and really put a plan together. As she approached the raptors, Asuka shot her fist forward at one of them, firing off her spinning crystals as well. If it worked the way Asuka imagined, the crystals would be able to drill deeper into the raptor that way.

Of course, in her rush to fight, there was one thing Asuka didn't notice. Her phone wasn't on her person. Back near her seat, on the floor, her phone was vibrating. It had been, since just before the awards ceremony had started; it was a sensation Asuka failed to notice, having grown used to things spontaneously vibrating when she was in the same general vicinity as Ino. On the glowing screen were a total of five words.

Leave.

The smell only gets stronger the closer I get. This is diFFICult.

Right now, it took every bit of focus in Sayuri's small, fuzzy body to avoid attacking anything on sight. She'd seen some civilians that were lucky enough to not get caught beneath the rubble already running away on their own accord. That was a small breath of relief in this disaster of an event. Probably thanks to the seats being cleared, as well as her own natural speed, it wasn't long at all before Sayuri was at the spot where the overgrown lizard had broken in through. She could feel her heart thrashing around as it pumped blood faster and faster. Her head was spinning, swimming in a sea of that bloody smell.

Evacuate civilians, evacuate civil-vill-kill-kill-kill-ki-NO!

The sound of air rapidly going in and out of her nose - one of the very few sounds Sayuri could make - was drowned out by cries for help. Both of them sounded like a blur to Sayuri in that moment. She could see somebody's hand sticking out of the rubble. Still moving. They were alive, but trapped. It took an active stab into her arm with her own claws to drive her attention away from if she could bite off somebody's finger, and back to actively trying to help people. Sayuri took to the pile, digging wildly and throwing bits and pieces aside. It wasn't light labor, but it was fast labor, and it got a grateful-looking young man free. He seemed to know well enough to know that he didn't need any prompting to run. Or maybe it was the crazed look in Sayuri's eyes.

Next!

Sayuri continued forward, only for that blood smell to hit her like a tidal wave once again. This was too much. Way too much for only her third time experiencing this.

I want to hold it in but I reaLLY NEED TO HURT SOMETHING! NOW!

Bloodlust

Sayuri cast her wide-eyed glare to the villains. The source. One of them. I want... Atop the lizard. The small girl. That one! Has a tail. Probably in charge of the lizards. Kill the girl. Kill the lizards. On it! Faster, Sayuri charged forward, sprinting over the rubble on her hands and feet, to get close to the really big lizard. She leapt onto it rather easily - probably thanks to Suna doing his best to keep it still - then ran up its length, every step digging her claws just a little bit against the beast's muscles for a better grip. And then finally, the girl was in sight. Did she not see Sayuri yet? Hopefully.

Sayuri reached out with her arms once she was close, leaping forward and swinging at the backs of the lizard girl's knees. That was something her mother had taught her: Aim for the knees so that they can't run away.

"Although, there's nothing in the law that prevents you from helping people. Go do that. Now."

That was all he needed to hear. A regular-sized hand of hard light appeared over his shoulder, pulling his hood up over his head, and adjusting his sunglasses slightly. Luckily, he had managed to get a simple pair to match his broken ones before the award ceremony. After all, every hero needs their costume, right? Looking forward toward the carnage, Akira quickly took stock of the situation. This entire scenario was playing out to have him be far more heroic than he had planned that morning. So, I guess the real question, is what would Mike do?

Something Stupid

Akira could see a few of his classmates running toward the danger zone: Asuka, the vibrating girl, the snake kid, and one he didn't recognize who looked almost canine, probably a 1-B student. Asuka. Does she know her mother is here? Akira has lost track of Bloodstone in all the chaos, but if Asuka had planned to fight her mother, that was a fight that she absolutely wouldn't win. Those lizards don't look too happy. Maybe I can cheer them up. Plunging the fingers of his pair of giant arms into the ground before him, Akira pulled off as hard as he could, launching himself forward through the air. While he hurtled toward the center of the action, he let one of the arms dissolve away, using the other to catch onto the ground and slow his approach, landing beside where Asuka stood. By the looks of things, the group was well-occupied with the raptors, seemingly controlled by the green-haired girl. "Asuka!" It felt a bit odd to be addressing her when she was busy with all this, but he needed to know, "Where is she?"

"I..." Asuka looked toward the giant lizard again. Asuka knew full well who Akira was talking about... but she wasn't there? Directing a pair of crystals toward the head of a raptor looking to bite her, Asuka replied "I-I don't know!"

That's what Akira was afraid of. Bloodstone was a dangerous individual, with a famous kill count. With the pro heroes occupied, she was probably the most frightening known variable. "Do we know how many enemies there are? The people inside might be in danger if she's MIA"

"Too many for me to count right now. We should assume everyone's in danger. Ourselves included."

Akira chuckled lightly, as a pillar of hard light emerged from the ground, pinning a raptor against the wall as it tried to dive at him. "I'll be alright. If your- If Bloodstone is missing, there might be more of them that snuck in. You're not suited for a fight this big. I'll handle things here, see if anyone inside needs help. Call for help if things go bad" He felt a bit guilty sending her in, but... It had to be safer inside than out, with the reptile girl wreaking havoc. He just wanted Asuka out of this chaos.

"Got it! Kobayashi, try to help him with the raptors. Ino, come with me. We can't split off alone right now, so try to stay close."

"Oh, and Asuka," Akira paused for a moment, fearing the answer to his next question, "are these the guys who brought that bomb to Kashyyyk?"

Asuka looked over to the villains assembled around the stadium. She pointed toward the large, red monster of a man, and said "He was, and so was the woman with the masks. There was a third, but he's not here." Asuka started down, intent to enter inside the stadium building to find anyone else that needed saving.

"Stay safe."

"You too."

Hoping he had just sent his friend to the safest place in the stadium, Akira directed his attention back to the green-haired girl. She had a tail, and seemed to be having far too much fun with all this. She almost seemed familiar, but Akira pushed that thought aside, assuming it to have been confusion after a long day. Behind his sunglasses, his eyes darted back and forth, noticing the tailed girl from earlier running up at the villain girl from behind. With a wide swipe of his arm, a fist the size of a car appeared nearly instantaneously, violently pushing aside the raptors that stood between him and the mystery girl. "Hey, kid! How about you stop going for all those easy targets in the stands and take on someone who can actually make things interesting?" Truthfully, he didn't intend to fight her head-on, as he had been strictly instructed not to, but the least he could do was direct the aggression away from the civilians, and maybe even provide Sayuri the window of opportunity she needed.

The raptor Isami had bitten quickly went limp, paralyzed from the poison injected into it. The other raptor ignored the civilians and turned to jump at Isami, only to be greeted by a swift slam of his massive tail, sending the faux dinosaur flying and crashing onto the stadium ground. From his peripheral vision he saw Asuka and Ino fighting off their own raptors.

Suddenly, Akira joined the fray seemingy out of nowhere in a very flashy manner, as per usual. He began to talk to Asuka, about... someone. Bloodstone. He wasn't well versed on known villains, but even he had heard of Bloodstone from his sister. "That... doesn't ssssssound good." Isami commented, swatting another raptor with his tail. Isami nodded his head when he was put on raptor duty with Akira, before turning back to Shiki.

Isami watched as Akira used a gigantic hand of light to push aside a lot of raptors out of the way. It still surprised Isami how powerful Akira's quirk really was. It amazed him more that we was able to put up a fight against him. "Woah..." He couldn't help but mutter, before turning to Akira. He seemed like he was trying to provoke her, maybe even fight her. Isami wasn't sure if she was ready to fight Shiki head on...

His head tilted back towards Shiki, his eyes locking onto the girl. "Sssssssstop this madnesssssssss Shiki!" Isami shouted at her. "Can't you ssssssssssee you're hurting people!?"

"You're a student, Ms. Clark!  You don't have to put yourself in danger for us pros!  We can handle ourselves!"

That didn't matter! Valerie wanted to shout at her. It wasn't a matter of if they could handle themselves. Valerie couldn't do nothing when she had any means of fighting. If she had a chance to do something and didn't take it...then what kind of hero could she possibly be?

She didn't want to struggle against the nurse though so she went along for the short while that she was gripping Valerie's arm. The young girl couldn't even think about how she was going to get away or convince her to let her go before suddenly....

Villains.

Valerie's heart pounded in her chest and she grit her teeth as she saw them. She hadn't encountered major villains before but she had run ins with a few criminals in the past. And they all had a similarly twisted feeling about them. These two were no exceptions.

It seemed their goal was taking the nurse and disposing of Valerie herself. She only had a moment to think. In that moment several facts came to mind.

One, they wouldn't hesitate to kill her.

Two, they wanted the nurse alive.

Three, they had planned this in order to guarantee as much damage was done as possible.

Four, some kind of force was keeping the nurse from moving.

Five, one of them had some kind of acidic quirk.

All of these combined to give her the answer to the statement that she knew the nurse would make. That singular word that went against everything Valerie valued in life.

"Run."

The answer was a simple one. "No." Valerie growled.

Whatever had happened to the nurse had made it that Valerie was able to break free from her grip. But only long enough to grab onto the nurse herself. With a pained grunt, her previous injuries making themselves known, she grabbed onto Nurse Neko with both hands, lifted the nurse, and moved back the way they came. After turning the corner she carried her paralyzed body several feet down the hall before turning back. She wouldn't be able to outrun them if she had to carry the nurse all the way. But clearly whatever happened to the woman was a result of some sort of Quirk. She had to hope that some distance would help.

And if not, well, at least she'd have the advantage of being able to attack while they rounded the corner.

If it was the acid girl who came first she'd have to be careful and wait for the girl to strike to make her move. But if it was the other...then she might be able to close the distance and get a hit off.

"You heard what they said." Valerie told the nurse. "They want to take you away from the fight. I don't care if I'm a student and you're an pro. I'm a teen and you're an adult. None of that matters right now. The fact is of the two of us you're the one who can actually...help people during this." Valerie said, a hint of bitter edge in her voice. "So if any of us are going to run. It's you." Valerie moved down into a crouch. Preparing for when the villains made their move. "They need you. I'm not leaving unless I know you're safe. So you'd better break out of whatever that is and get a move on fast."

Hadley pulled Ichiro up the stairs, looking everywhere for Sayuri. She finally spotted her, the girl already having left the stands. She breathed in sharply, before sighing deeply, looking resigned. She had made a decision.

"Bollocks! She's legged it!" She halted, pivoting to place Ichiro on the stair above her, looking down after Sayuri fretfully. She took a deep breath, then turned back to Ichiro.

"Get tha funk outta here, alright?" she told him, looking him in the eyes with the utmost serious expression. "Get as much a' the others and just fuckin' leg it, alright? Yer' beat ta sheet, don't funk yer'self up anymore, alright?" She frowned, looking at him with concern. "I mean it, alright? Jest fuckin' GO."

She turned, storming back down the steps, her gauntlets trailing out behind her as she lowered her head, in a run that would be described by someone dorkier than her as an "anime-run." As she passed GIn and Erica she barked out, "Jest  effin' LEG IT, got me?" before reaching the edge of the stands and vaulting over the line, landing down in a crouch at the bottom, looking up with wide eyes at the skirmish and chaos before her.

It was almost too much to take in. The giant lizard beast, the multitude of raptors that had spawned since she last looked down here (the funk had those come from?), the pros attacking back as the students acted as evac and raptor control... She hadn't thought this was going to be so wild and difficult to parse.

"I must be OUTTA my fuckin' mind," she muttered to herself, striding forward and breaking out into a run again, moving towards the group of raptors that had escaped tangling with the pro heroes as her eyes fixed flitted around the battlefield, before finally fixing on Sayuri. She was running up the giant lizard's BACK...

"Right throwin' shapes, she is," Hadley breathed, saying it more to drown out the cacophony around her as she whipped past Asuka, going in the opposite direction. She didn't even acknowledge her, just rushing into the fray. The dust that had been kicked up in the wake of the beast's arrival swirled through the air, and it was all Hadley could do to stop herself from choking.

She saw Akira working to taunt the lizard girl, up on top of her beast as he taunted her. He had swept some of the raptors aside with a flick of his hand,  but she saw one of them stirring even now, struggling to it's feet as it's eyes locked on Akira as he shouted up to the girl, the beast baring it's teeth as it readied to charge.

Hadley changed course, running up as swiftly as she could, coming up behind the boy. This is it... Really gettin' into it now, she thought. It was a statement of fact, but it was also meant to calm the fluttering nerves that even now scrambled up inside her chest, fear mounting in her at what was all happening around her. She wound up, raising the iron gauntlet, heavy and powerful, and swung it with all her might.

... Directly into the back of Akira's head.

"Watch your BACK, Shiki!" she yelled irritably, following the momentum of the punch to fall into a crouch, the raptor eyeing her briefly before she raised her head to glare at it with unbridled intensity. It moved on, loping towards Isami. Hadley looked out of the corner of her eye at Akira. A blow like that would probably knock somebody unconscious, but Hadley wasn't taking any bets. She moved to bash him in the head again.

"You picked a bad time to start tryin', hero," she said with finality, before offering up a shout, calling up for everyone to hear. "By tha' way; Somebody tell Bloodstone. Her kid's headed inside."

This was madness. Just as the finalists were getting awarded, a giant muscle lizard burst through the walls, and villains had invaded. Goutetsu himself was quirkless, and maybe perhaps these people had the best interest of the quirkless in their mind. But to the old man, they were going about this the wrong way. And while it was best to run away for his own safety, well...

You didn't need a Quirk to be helpful.

Using his old man powers, Goutetsu sprang into action, rushing over to the rubble and picking up the smaller pieces, tossing them aside, while also punching the bigger pieces into smaller ones.

"Oh, I wish I was twenty years younger right now," The old martial artist muttered as he continued to clear the rubble. "Terro would be a huge help, come to think about it...," As he moved the rocks, he heard a familiar voice yelling.

"Watch your BACK, Shiki!" So it seemed that young lady was a villain as well...?

"What a twist," He muttered.

As Akira lifted the two into the air, Terro eyes rapidly blinked, the martial artist trying to assess what was going on. "Wait, hang on a sec---," His words were interrupted by the giant arm of light throwing them like they were a fastball into the stands. "THIS IS NOT WHAT I MEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANT!!!!"

The two finalists crash landed into the stands, Terro groaning while sitting up. "Ow... that hurt...," He muttered as he stood up, gasping and rolling his shoulder. He helped Mike up to his feet before slamming his fists together. "Alright Mike, let's try to help those---," A loud crash was heard as the wall was suddenly broken through by a large man.

Attack of a Villain

"You have disappointed me for the last time."  He said staring directly at Terro. Then, as quickly as he appeared, he threw a straight punch at him, ignoring Mike all together. Terro barely had time to react to the strange man's attack. He got his arm up to block in time, but his exhaustion combined with the man's fierce attacked caused him to falter, his body sliding back a bit.

"Disappoint you? How? I don't even know who you are!" Terro called out, confused. The man, with his attack blocked, lunged forward with his knee, the body part digging it into Terro's ribs.

"It doesn't matter who I am. All that matters is that you're truly a disappointment. Your grandpa is too soft on you boy." Terro let out a pained gasp as the attack collided, causing him to spit up blood before stumbling back and away from him. However, he looked back at his assailant with a defiant look, gritting his teeth as he stood up, taking his stance.

"You don't... Talk about him... That way," Terro growled out in the angriest tone that anyone in the school had ever heard. "I might be a bad student that doesn't listen... But that's me. My grandpa is my teacher, and I've grown strong thanks to him!!" He went to attack, using as much of his strength as he could to launch a kick at the man's side. The man simply raised a hand, catching Terro's foot effortlessly.

"Defenseless...even without your Quirk? That senile old man has taught you nothing but lies. True power lies in a different path."  He said, before flinging Terro back towards Mike with a simple swing of his arm.  "Attacking me without a proper hero's license... that's a good stepping stone."  He said, before rushing Terro again. Terro gritted his teeth, and using all the will he had, managed to make some rubble fly over and cover his fist in rock. He then began to move towards the villain, doing his best to intercept and punch the villain. He'd teach this villain not to run his mouth!

Mike

"Try not to die on the landing, they'll need you up there." Akira's words broke Mike out of his stupor, and by the time that he managed to process what the other had said, he was already being loaded up into a massive hard-light fist with Terro.

"Wait, what?" Mike asked.

"Hard Light: Sunset Knuckleball!"

"WHAAAAAAAAAAAT??!!" Mike shouted, flying through the air, panicking as he turned, using as little force as he could to make as much of a difference as possible. He managed to slow down his descent enough to prevent injury, but as he slammed rear-first into one of the stadium seats, he knew it wasn't a clean landing.

Mike turned and saw Terro offering a hand for help, and accepted, letting himself be pulled to his feet. "Alright Mike, let's try to help those--" Terro had only started to say, before another villain had crashed into the stands in front of them.

"Man we just can't get a break, huh," Mike groaned. The villain neglected to introduce himself before launching into a fight with... only Terro, leaving Mike standing there, watching. The villain seemed to know Terro, and answered each attack with a seemingly effortless block. Mike tensed his muscles, ready to launch himself in to the fight, but as he watched each attack, each failed assault, all he could think was that they were sorely outmatched. Mike growled, angry that he couldn't help in the fight, no quick attack or trick that could be sprung to take advantage of a strong opponent he didn't know. Even if someone tried to get help, how much time would they have? They'd have to get help quickly. Terro could try to shift to simply staying alive, but with how his attacks and anger were getting, chances are that wasn't going to work. But there was something Mike knew he was good at.

Mike gripped one of the taser-balls that he had not opted to use in his fight against Terro, clicking a button on the side to prime its timer. He tried to wait for the right moment, but Terro was standing directly in the way and was moving around too much-- there wasn't any opening. Not unless Mike made one himself.

Mike dashed up the stands, leaping over rows of seats with minimal use of his quirk until he managed to get a clean sight of the villain. Taking a pitcher's stance, he aimed carefully and then shouted. "Hey, idiot! Pick on someone your own size!!" Just as he shouted this, he threw the ball as hard as he could, aiming squarely for his center of mass. Even if he blocked the ball, it was still going to give a nice little zap and a fair bit of pain, but either way that wasn't his goal.

Even if he couldn't fight head-on and win, even if he couldn't take down the villain himself, it was still two against one, and even if Mike didn't know the opponent's quirk, dividing an opponent's attention was still an effective strategy.

Ino was busy fighting off her own raptor, but she could hear the faint trading of a conversation between Akira and Asuka.  She turned her back to get a closer listen, but the raptor jumped at her.  Ino vibrated her body enough to bounce the raptor right off of her, and into some chairs, where it's body became entangled.  When she was finished, it seemed that the two had finished up their conversation.  Asuka then turned to Ino.

"Got it! Kobayashi, try to help him with the raptors. Ino, come with me. We can't split off alone right now, so try to stay close."

"Where are we going now?  I thought we were gonna try to help people!?"

But Asuka was now running for the stadium hallway.  Ino sighed, as she ran behind her friend.

"Are we just gonna run away now?  I got myself all psyched up for this?"  Ino whined.

"You should've ran when you had the chance."  A voice from further down the hallway broke the sound of Ino's shoes running along the tile.  Ino stopped in her tracks, and was prepared to see that lady in the Mask again.  However, from the shadows, a woman who looked oddly similar to Asuka walked forward.  On her hip, a large katana was sheathed.  And on the opposite side was a holstered gun.  She looked down at the both of them, her expression a mysterious blend of disappointment and sorrow.

"A-A-Are you a villain!?"  Ino managed to say, tripping over her words.

"Is that what they call revolutionaries nowadays?"  The woman said, smirking with the same expression from before.  She crossed her arms, as she pointed her focus towards Asuka.  "I told you to leave.  I didn't want you to get hurt...when you didn't answer my message, I got worried.  I wanted to find you to tell you to get away from here."

"W-W-W-Well we're heroes in training!  And we're gonna save s-s-s-s-some people before we lea-"  Ino was interrupted as a large stone rammed itself into her gullet in an instant.  It made her collapse to her knees as she struggled to breath.

"Don't worry.  I didn't break her wind pipe.  You, however, need to leave.  Immediately.  Don't make me force my hand."  She said sternly, as more stones started to float above Ino.  Ino looked towards the display in shock.  It was the same exact quirk as Asuka's.  Were these two...related?

Shiki lay atop the monster's head on her stomach, as her legs kicked themselves around in the air.  She hummed to herself, seeing that things were going relatively well.  Even Wendigo was holding his own against two pros.  However, some more of those self-righteous meanies were heading up the sand bridge that was holding her poor baby hostage.  There was nothing she could really do about it though.  She would have to wait until he was done playing.  Just then, she could hear something ring in her ear.  She peered over the monster's head to see Isami shouting in her general direction.  The boy was in his snake form, and he looked rather distressed while talking to her.  She didn't even care that he was smacking her little babies around, she just thought he looked so cute!

"What's that?  Date night tomorrow?  Oh Isami you're so bold!  As expected from a guy like you!  Ekekek!"

"Hey, kid! How about you stop going for all those easy targets in the stands and take on someone who can actually make things interesting?"

Somehow a hero already got up here, unbeknownst to her.  Shiki's eyes darted towards the intruder, her eyes predator-like.

"Excuse you...I was having a conversation with my new boyfriend.  Your death shall be a most painful one."  She smiled once she saw Hadley creep up from behind him.  She cracked him from behind with those giant iron gauntlets, prompting Shiki to laugh.  "It's a start!  ekekekek!  That one had to hurt!"  Shiki then realized something was off, as she sniffed a new hero trying to get on top of the big guy's head.  She looked behind her to see a wolf-girl jump at her.  "I hope you have your ear plugs, Hadley."  She then stepped on the monster's head twice, before it looked up at her.

"Rex.  Speak."

The large dinosaur almost seemed to laugh, as it was able to take a deep breath.  It then released out a gut shattering roar that sent shock waves throughout the air, forcing Sayuri back and losing momentum.

Erika and Gin had moved to a separate hallway on the opposite side from where Ino and Asuka had went.  Gin turned to Erika and motioned his head towards his pocket.

"I need you to pull out my phone, and show it to me...Don't. Read. Anything."  Erika shrunk back at each command, and gently did so.  She revealed the phone to him, as it read out one very clear message.

[Emergency News!  Mustafar District Detainment Center has been breached!  All citizens are warned to leave the surrounding area, and seek shelter]

"Damnit.  DAMNIT!"  Gin screamed, his head ramming into the wall behind the phone.  Erika shrunk back even more so, terrified by the display.  "I'm leaving.  Don't follow me.  If you find anyone else, tell them I'm going home.  If anyone cares...they can meet me there."  He turned away from Erika and started to dart towards the exit.  Erika still held the phone in her hands...and decided to stick her nose where it didn't belong.  No contacts.  No Messages.  Only alerts set up for keywords: Mother and Mustafar District.  It was strange...but it did have a return in case lost address.  That's where she would point the others when the time came.

"I still need to help my class!"  She reassured herself.  She then ran opposite of the exit's direction, to see if she could help anymore people.

Nurse Neko was surprised by Valerie's sheer strength alone, able to pick her up and run with ease.  They were able to make some distance from the villains, before Nurse Neko regained her mobility.

"You heard what they said." Valerie said.

"Ms. Clark."  Nurse Neko said defiantly, turning Valerie around just to smack her across the face.  A tear welled up in her eye.  "You are not a hero."  She paused for a moment before smiling.  "Not yet, of course."  She continued.  "This does matter.  It all matters!  I'm the Hero here, you dummy!  You think I can sit idly by, while you decide to throw your life and career away?!"  The Nurse was yelling now.  "If I can't save you...then why even bother calling myself a hero...let alone your School Nurse."  She wiped the tear from her face, only to get into a fighting stance.  "If they want me...that's fine.  Getting me is a different story.  I know what I'm up against now."  She wiped her nose before continuing.  "You are right about one thing...I can save people.  I can save you, right here and now.  I can save the next generation's top hero!  So leave!  I'll be behind you shortly!  I promise."

"You let her get away!"

"I didn't expect that girl to be so strong.  Beauty comes in all forms."

"SHUT UP YOU OLD HAG!"

"I AM BEAUTY GIVEN FORM YOU INSOLENT RAT!"

"Leave, Valerie.  Find your friends.  They need you.  I can handle myself."

The man grinned as Terro made his stone fist, and charged the man.

"Yes.  Come at me with all of that rage."

"Hey, idiot! Pick on someone your own size!!"

The man turned to see Mike throw his small ball towards his gut.  The area that the ball would hit would immediately turn gray.  As the ball collided, it would simply bounce off and away, leaving the man unscathed.

"Hmph.  You're the one who beat the boy.  Interesting."  The man said, before gripping on of the stadium's chairs, and lifting it effortlessly off of it's hinges.  He then reeled his arm back, and pitched the chair at Mike in the same manner that Mike himself had done.  "Show me, your strength!"  He said with a smile on his face.  He then turned his attention towards Terro.  His whole leg became that same grainy shade of gray, before he lifted it up and around, slamming it into the ground.  The earth below the foot started to crack and chip, leaving a slight chasm in the distance between the two.  "Weak."

"Excuse you...I was having a conversation with my new boyfriend. Your death shall be a most painful one." This girl was really starting to get on Akira's nerves. The raptors hadn't made a single scratch on him, but still she was going on and on with the threats? Suddenly, she smiled, her eyes shifting the slightest bit, prompting Akira to turn around to figure out what was going on.

Or at least, he tried. He had barely made a move when the fist hit him. While a small barrier intercepted it as part of his panic response, it only managed to lessen the blow as the hulking mass of steel impacted the back corner of his skull, slamming him down onto the ground. His attacker landed into a crouch beside him, and he struggled to identify her through his blurred vision. He only managed to hear bits and pieces between the heavy sound of his heartbeat in his head, as the girl rose her steel fist once again, clearly making for the finishing blow. "Bad... hero... Bloodstone... kid... inside!" Akira realized in an instant that they managed to track Asuka when she left. He had sent her away, only to be caught by her mother, or perhaps even worse.

Heroic Aspiration

Rather than hitting Akira on its second swing, Hadley's gauntlet met a pair of brightly glowing hands large enough to match it, sprouting directly from Akira's back as he rose up onto his hands and knees. "Don't you lay a finger on her." The constructs didn't appear quite as normal. Their edges seemed fuzzy, and they flickered back and forth, almost like a television with poor reception. Turning his head to Hadley, a steady stream of blood could be seen running down it. For a split second, his expression registered nothing but shock, as he realized the identity of his attacker, but it was quickly replaced with complete and utter rage. "You." A sudden burst of hard light erupted from the ground surrounding Akira, launching Hadley into the air and away from him. Pillars sprung up from the ground underneath his palms, pushing him into a standing position as he stared down Shiki once again. "If you dumbasses even think of hurting her, you'll regre-"

"Rex. Speak."

Akira's sentence was cut short as the monster lying before him let out yet another roar. Though he had heard it before, it was an entirely more dreadful experience at this range. He could feel the sheer force of the sound as it impacted him, and his eardrums felt like they were going to burst. Perhaps they already had. The shockwave knocked him off of his feet and into the air, and he could see it having the same effect on the dog girl and snake boy, as well as many of the heroes who were attempting to do something about the Snake Charmer at the epicenter of the destruction. As he flew backward through the air, he squinted and blinked, blood running into his left eye. His ears were ringing so loudly, drowning out all the sound around him - Shiki's cackling, the screams of those afraid or injured, Akira couldn't even hear his heartbeat now. But, through the deafening ringing, he remembered a voice, cheerful, but never naive. Brave, but never aggressive.

"Heroes exist to protect those of us who can't always protect ourselves. Make sure you grow up to be someone who can protect everyone who needs it, Aki."

Extending both of his arms forward, toward the rest of those caught in the blast, Akira winced as the palms of his hand glowed brightly. Spheres of hard light formed around everyone he saw who needed to be protected. First the dog girl, then the snake he fought earlier that day, then one of the heroes who was doing their best to save everyone, then a bystander who managed to be in the exact wrong place at the exact wrong time. In the split second during which he flew backward through the smoke, dust, and chaos, he managed to encase each of his allies, each soul in need of rescue. As the protective bubbles hit the walls, they shattered gently enough to cushion each landing, preventing further injuries.

In all of this, however, Akira did not devote any attention to protecting himself. He felt his right leg hit an upturned chunk of concrete, and though he could not hear the snap, he could absolutely feel it. His momentum carrying him through, he began tumbling backward through the air, completing at least three full flips before his body skipped against the ground once, twice, and a third time, eventually skidding to a halt on the ground, leaving a trail of blood in front of him. Using all the effort he could to pull himself up into a half-slump, he could see the damage done to his leg. It was bent at nearly a right angle halfway down his shin, a splinter of white bone piercing out through his skin. He felt as if he were about to vomit, but in a miracle of adrenaline he somehow managed to keep it down. "Alright... I guess it's time to play field medic," Akira squeezed his eyes shut, as hard light formed around his fractured leg, a band at both his knee and ankle, with a straight bar running alongside. He clenched his teeth, as the constructs forced his leg back into a proper alignment, and couldn't stop himself from letting out a scream he couldn't even hear. "The nurse is going to be pissed about this rush-job."

Rising Star

Taking a deep breath, Akira pushed himself up onto his feet once again. Turns out, broken legs hurt even more when you try to stand on them. Push through the pain. You have a job to do. Suna said to protect them. Creating a platform beneath his feet, Akira flew as quickly as his injured leg would allow him, landing evenly between the two young villains. His landing was fairly rough, as his mostly-ruined leg faltered beneath him briefly, only to be reinforced by more hard light. He turned his head slightly toward Hadley, before shouting as loudly as he could, if only so that he could detect a hint of his own voice. "So that's how it works? You want all of the heroes gone?" Armor slowly formed around his entire body to match the heavy plating on his broken leg, visible cracks already forming, as each individual piece was repeatedly shattered and replaced, Akira doing his best to maintain his protection with a failing mind. "I can't fight back. It's not my place to. But I will protect them, all of them."

Each of his constructs glowed brighter and brighter, as he addressed Hadley directly, blood running out of his ears, down from his forehead, and matting his hair, "You want to destroy all the heroes? Then you're going to have to start with the Shining Star Hero: Procyon!"

Shiki didn't seem to be able to hear him, at least not correctly. Isami growled, turning to Akira. However, as he was about to ask him for help, another villain appeared. The iron fisted girl blindsided them, decking Akira hard on the back of the head. "A-Akira!" Isami shouted, his eyes locking onto Hadley. He glared at the girl, ready to lung at his allies assailant, however, his attention was diverted by the raptor, which had just sunk its teeth right into Isami's tail while he wasn't looking. Isami let out a roar of pain, almost instinctively turning on a dime and lunging at the raptor. While his fangs comped down onto the beast, he vaguely heard the exchange between Akira and Hadley. As the raptor went limp like the other, Isami got ready to run around and help Akira, when suddenly...

"Rex. Speak."

Suddenly a deafening roar filled the arena, causing Isami to reel back from the sheer volume and ferocity of the wave of sound. He could almost feel himself sliding backwards as he let out his own scream that was deafened by the roar. Isami tucked his head in, slowly coiling himself as his felt his body slide, starting to come off of the ground.

As he felt himself finally start flying backwards, a sudden bubble of light surrounded him. The bubble which cushioned almost all of the damage done as he felt himself crash into the wall. "Holy..." Isami said to himself, his ears still ringing as the beast finally stop its mighty roar. The gigantic snake tilted his head towards Akira, who didn't bubble himself and had a broken leg. "Akira!" Isami shouted at the boy, although he wasn't sure if he could hear him - hell, Isami couldn't even hear himself scream. Isami's vision was still a bit blurry, although he could see Akira start flying off towards the villains, his body covered in sparkling light. "He'sssssss gonna get himself killed!" Isami thought out loud, shaking his head. He thought about chasing after the boy, before remembering all of the pedestrians that were by him. "He... he can handle himsssssself. I hope." Isami said, before turning to the others. "Right now I need to make sure they get out of here alive."

Isami took a look around to find a good escape route, eventually his eyes locking on the stairs. "We're getting out of here, follow me!" Isami shouted, gesturing the people to follow him with his tail as he made his way towards the exit. He kept an eye for any potential raptors on the way, occasionally turning back to make sure the civilians didn't get ambushed.

"Bollocks! She's legged it!"

What's she doing?! Ichiro thought, curiously looking at Hadley, who just stared at him with the utmost serious expression.

"Get tha funk outta here, alright? Get as much a' the others and just fuckin' leg it, alright? Yer' beat ta sheet, don't funk yer'self up anymore, alright? I mean it, alright? Jest fuckin' GO."

Without much else to say, Hadley left and Ichiro just stood there in shock on the stair. He stood up slightly on the step that Hadley was on and was shocked to see what he did. The dino girl, unleashing now raptors into the stadium...in the middle, Suna and most of the other heroes were being confronted by Wendigo...it was the beast after all. That sickening felling returned in Ichiro's gut again, as he clenched his fists tightly.

Maybe she was right. Right now...he couldn't do much of anything, save for helping the citizens that were in a panic...and he only had one arm unbroken with the other still trying to heal. Nurse Neko said it would be a bit and that she prescribed to wear the sling for today and possibly tomorrow. Another look, he saw that most of his fellow classmates were already trying to do something.

But...but...

Then he glanced over again and he was completely shocked...

"Watch your BACK, Shiki!"

Ichiro saw that Hadley...the one who was with him a moment ago was now in the fray...and apparently on the side of the villains! His fist clenched tighter, immensely confused at what was going on. Why tell him specifically to leave...? Hell, why look for him and Sayuri in general?

...I can't run now... he thought, seeing a few people running in his direction as he exhaled slowly. I just gotta do what I can for the moment. And if it's helping people...then that's what I'll do. Ichiro waved his hand and pointed in the direction of the stairwell. "Everyone! This way!"

Class B Squad ~ Shin and Aina

"Alright, look out everyone." Aina said, moving over towards some of the rubble, where some people were. Quickly, the young girl looked for a location. She saw one and it was pretty much overrun with raptors. "Perfect." she said with a smile. "Shin! You better be ready!"

"Working on it..." Shin exhaled, before slamming his hands together. Soon two more of Shin appeared out from behind him, in yellow and red clothes. "Happiness, Anger...I need you to help out. Things have gone bad..."

"Really? Couldn't tell..." Anger simply huffed, rolling his eyes. "Honestly think we SHOULD be fighting...but whatever."

"Can do boss! Oh, maybe you should call a few more!" Happiness chimed in with a wide smile. "That would help out A LOT!"

"Might be right...Sadness could help." Shin nodded, slamming his hands again, as another Shin appeared, this one being in blue clothes and he seemed to have a few tears falling off his face. "Sadness...c'mon Sad, you need to pull it together!"

"I know..." Sadness began to cry, wiping tears from his face. "I'm just...really sad that all these people are scared and that there's raptors running around!"

"HELLO! SHIN! Are you ready?!" Aina shouted impatiently.

With the sound of a sigh in unison from all four Shins, the main one nodded. "Yeah, we're ready. Launch it, Aina!"

"With pleasure!" Aina smirked, as she touched the rubble, infusing it with plenty of potential energy. "Get down under there!!" she shouted, before removing her hands from the rubble and watching it launch straight into the aisles above below them, and seeing it crush the raptors. "Now that's some extinction!"

"Move." Shin nodded to his other selves as they moved in to help civilians up and usher them to safety. "Good thing we all share a common goal right now...otherwise they wouldn't listen. Any luck trying to get to the others?"

Aina shook her head. "Not yet. Haven't heard any word from Case either...getting worried."

"Relax...both Case and Val are fine."

Class B Squad ~ Casey

Casey continued running towards the medical wing of the stadium, among the stuff that was going on out there, he needed to make sure that Valerie was okay. Besides, she was one of the backbones of Class 1-B...if anything happened to her, well...most of 1-B might actually end up being depressed or some stupid sheet like that.

However, the young man now was staring down...wait...was that a raptor?

"You've got to be kidding me..." Casey muttered, before seeing the raptor immediately rush towards him. Wasn't really anytime to use Hyperjump...so he needed to do the only other thing he could. "I HATE THIS!!!" he shouted, running the way he came, away from the raptor.

Damnit! That's what I get for being a hero!! Sorry Val...I'll try and get to you...hopefully your actually getting the hell outta dodge! he thought, with the raptor chasing him down.

"Where are we going now? I thought we were gonna try to help people!? Are we just gonna run away now? I got myself all psyched up for this?"

"We aren't running away. We're looking for anyone that might need help in here; anyone caught in here by villains would be in way more danger than if they were caught in the seats." Although it would probably be more dangerous in here, it also made sense that Ino's Quirk would also be more potent in places with walls and ceilings instead of just floors and open skies. Right? Maybe it was the lingering feeling of panic, but that made some sort of sense in Asuka's head. However, the two didn't get far down the hall before...

"You should've ran when you had the chance."

How long had it been since Asuka heard that voice? However long it was, it wasn't a sound she particularly missed hearing. From further down the hall, a woman approached. A woman Asuka would recognize any time of the day. It almost felt like looking into a disturbing mirror of the future. Kokoro Kurosawa. Bloodstone. Her mother.

"A-A-Are you a villain!?"

No. She's...

"Is that what they call revolutionaries nowadays?" Then she pointed at Asuka. Directly at Asuka. Had she done something wrong? Was she going to be forced to walk the path of villainy? Or worse? What was going on? "I told you to leave. I didn't want you to get hurt...when you didn't answer my message, I got worried. I wanted to find you to tell you to get away from here."

"Message?" Asuka reached for the sole pocket on her Hematite costume, where she'd been keeping her phone... and felt nothing. "Eh?" She felt around some more, checking some spots inside the costume itself for if she'd stored it somewhere else without noticing. It wasn't anywhere to be found! "I must have lost my phone somewhere before getting the message. I'm sorry."

"W-W-W-Well we're heroes in training! And we're gonna save s-s-s-s-some people before we lea-" And then, Ino was slammed into by a crystal. Very much similar to Asuka's. The vibrating girl fell to the floor, struggling to breathe after the sudden impact.

"Ino!"

"Don't worry. I didn't break her wind pipe. You, however, need to leave. Immediately. Don't make me force my hand."

Asuka looked at Ino, on the floor. Then to Bloodstone. She looked back and forth between the two, trying to process just what she was supposed to do in this situation? Leave like she'd been told? But then could she really call herself a would-be hero? Fight and try to buy Ino some time to escape? That wasn't right either; Asuka knew full well that she wasn't allowed to do that without a special permit. She couldn't just do nothing though. That was the worst course of action. And saving people was definitely her priority, but with her friend in danger right next to her...

What am I supposed to do?

"I'm sorry," she said, moving her own crystals to position them between Bloodstone's crystals and Ino. Her leg twitched for a moment, as if she wasn't sure about her next move, before finally taking a step forward. Her knees were shaking, and she clearly didn't seem confident in her decisions as she took the step and continued, "I'm attending this school to become a hero, like you did. If I want to be a hero... I can't run away when so many people are in danger. I can't let you threaten my friends like this. And I definitely... definitely, have to do what I can to stop this attack. Even if I'm scared or in danger." Asuka took a deep breath to try and calm her nerves. Her mind was ringing with alarms and sirens, telling her that she was getting in over her head and it was time to go. She looked behind her for a moment, as if considering actually leaving, only to turn and face Bloodstone again. "I couldn't do anything about the attack in the Kashyyyk District, but if I can make a difference here, I will. I'm sorry, Mama."

"Look around you Asuka. What do you see? Are there any Quirkless around to save you from what's going on here, or are they fleeing for their lives? They don't care about you Asuka...they would watch on as that beast tore you limb from limb. But your Mother does...I love you so much Asuka...I just want you to see this world for what it is. It's for us to take from those wretched Neanderthals, and claim it for the next generation." The stones began to whirl in the air above Ino.  "Now...I'll ask one more time politely. Please Asuka, you must leave like a good girl."

"There aren't any Quirkless here. But even besides them, there are people with Quirks just like us, and they need saving too." Asuka pointed to Ino on the floor. "Right here!" Then she pointed back the way she had come from. "And out there too! And in all those prison break areas!" Asuka glanced behind her, at the whirling crystals. Just to be sure, Asuka began moving more and more crystals around Ino's body. She wans't sure how much of a punch those crystals could pack, but she could guess it wasn't small. "It would be against the law for me to fight you. I don't have a provisional liscence, and the staff didn't give us permission to use our Quirks to fight. But morally, I won't be able to sleep at night if I go home knowing that I could at least do something. Even if it's just keeping a villain at bay, or getting one person out of here. That's my duty, as U.A. Class 1-A student, Kurosawa Asuka. That's what I think anyway."

"You're testing my patience Asuka..." Bloodstone said placing a hand on her forehead.  "I can assure you...this is just a phase. You'll see them turn their backs on you for their own glory...It happens time and time again. I don't want to see that happen to you sweetheart."

"If my classmates betray me and become villains, then I'll stop them too." Asuka stopped for a bit. She still felt that running away would be the legally correct move. But was it the right thing to do? It couldn't be. She took a deep breath, and put her feet more firmly onto the floor. "...U.A. was a bit afraid of taking me in, you know. I was a liability of sorts. They didn't want me to end up... well, like you. But they let me learn here anyway. They've decided to trust me, and I can't abandon that trust, for Suna-sensei who's been doing everything he can to help his class grow and learn as heroes, or for anyone else that's working to create the next generation of heroes. I'm sorry again, Mama... but if the only way I can get through here is fighting, then that's what I have to do!"

"Rex. Speak."

Everything before that was a blur. She'd seen that Hadley was fighting alongside the villains, but through the sound of her heart racing, it was tough to tell what was actually being said. Those two words, however, registered loud and clear in Sayuri's mind. The behemoth of a monster let out a deafening roar, the shockwaves from the sound knocking Sayuri back and off the beast. And then, she heard nothing. The pain would be driving her mad if the blood-scented air wasn't already doing that. Sayuri clamped her hands down over her ears, not that it would do any good at this point, as she was sent back. The only thing that stood between her and a painful collision with the rubble from the beast's entrance was a sphere of light that had been conjured around her.

Akira's doing, obviously.

When the sphere had popped on impact, cushioning the blow, Sayuri found herself on her knees in pain, gripping at her ears. She could feel something wet running down her head from them. It had to be even more blood. She could even smell it. However, the sheer pain from that dinosaur's bellowing roar was at least enough to snap her out of her blood-crazed state. That was my fault. I need to be smart about this. Let's see, the girl is dangerous in her own right, but that dinosaur is the real threat... How was she supposed to deal with that though?

The Fight Continues

Terro gritted his teeth as he watched Mike throw a ball, and the mysterious villain throwing a chair back at Mike. "Mike!" He snapped. "Go help the others! I'll take this guy down!" His eyes narrowed as the villain's kick cracked the ground, so the martial artist leapt into the air, aiming to bring his stone fist down on top of the villain's head.

The man's arm turned grey down to his elbow, as he blocked the inner part of Terro's punch, and threw it off its course. The impact kicked up some dust between the two, as the man grabbed Terro's rock arm with the other hand, and smashed him into the chasm that he had previously created. The man then took his foot up into the air, almost vertically, and brought his heel smashing down into Terro's stomach, sending him deeper into the chasm.

Terro gasped and spat out even more blood as he was driven deeper into the Earth by the axe kick. "Dammit," he growled as he coughed a bit. He placed his hands on the walls and did the best he could to cause rocks to shoot up and hit his opponent.

The man effortlessly dodged each rock thrown up towards him by stepping away from the Chasm. He then took a running start back to the hole, and jumped into the air. His whole body turned gray, as his descent was rapidly sped up. He cocked back a fist, and threw it towards the Terro as the boy tried to force his way back up out of the hole.

Terro saw his attacker leap into the air, and managed to fold his arms to block, but the force of the punch and the sudden weight of his opponent sent them deeper into the stands, until they broke through a ceiling, crashing into a concession area. The tiles beneath Terro's back cracked from the impact of the landing. "How... are you... so heavy?" Terro muttered as he did his best to throw the villain off of him.

"Your wits are just as prominent as your strength." The man said with a smile, as the boy beneath him struggled with his weight. "You do really get it all from that Old Fool!" He said, rising his fist in the air, launching it once more towards his face.

Terro gritted his teeth as he moved his head, the fist barely missing him. "I'll work on that then," He growled as he grabbed the man's wrist and used it as leverage to let himself slide out from under the man. He then scrambled back to his feet, taking his stance. Clenching his fist, he threw a punch, causing the rubble to levitate and fly at his attack. He felt a wake of exhaustion hit him, and he began to wobble. He wasn't sure for how much longer he could fight.

BGM

As Aaron got closer, he saw that Akira was already on the beast to throw down with the girl while Sayuri was going behind her for a sneak attack. Isami was also fighting a bunch raptor monsters that were released, and 2 the raptors that were sent forth came straight for Aaron. "Get out of my way!" Aaron lifted up both wrists and shot out his tasers, latching onto both shocking them to the ground. Looking back up, Aaron witnessed a betrayal as Hadley sucker punching Akira knocking him back onto the stands below. Aaron feared the worst as Hadley getting down to deliver a fatal only to see he was fine, even from a hard blow, pushing Hadley away. Getting closer, he went around to get out of sight from Hadley and the girl to come up with a plan to help Akira and Sayuri, but hoping they can take her down with little resistance. from other outside forces.

"Rex. Speak."

A deafening roar rang through Aaron's insulated helmet as the beast vibrated waves of painful sound, causing a pushing force that blew practically everyone off their feet. Aaron was pushed up to some fallen debris and used it as a support as he covered his ears to muffle the roar. As it died down, Aaron quickly gathered his senses and proceeded upwards on the stand to become somewhat eye level to the girl on the beast, but still out of sight. From this view, the entire was almost cleared out only a handful of pro heroes helping those who were either trapped in stadium debris or leading out civilians on the other side still escaping. But back his current predicament, his classmates were down and hurt while the villains were perfectly fine.

Okay, 3 classmates are going against, practically, a kaiju, while the others are wherever they are, hopefully getting out, but now where does that put me? I should be helping others from the debris, those Good Samaritan Laws. However, 3 of my classmates are in trouble and I NEED to help them! Looking back, Akira, hurt more than before, got back up and started to make his back up the monster. OKAY!! I need to do something or Akira is going to get more than hurt! But I need to calm if I am going to be helpful. Aaron Took 2 deep breathes and started to come up with multiple solutions while taking a look around his surroundings to find what he can use. Okay, obviously, that cyan haired girl is the cause of the monster, not Hadley, so she should be the target. Now, I am too far away to hit her with my tasers, even getting to close I could get spotted. I need to hit her from a distance, but what do I have? Let's see. . . cement won't help. . . I should keep my batons on me just in case. . . Me? Aaron looked around again to see what metal was around, beside some exposed beams, nothing really stood out. Looking back at Akira, he was in the perfect setting to strike now as he was in the middle of both girls!

Aaron slammed both batons into the wall behind him and latched the ends of his tasers onto the support beams making a makeshift slingshot. "Let's hope this works, gotta go beyond." Sending electricity to his legs made himself a magnet of some sort to his batons while sending current to his arms to pull the other way, increasing the tension on Aaron body. As his body continued to stretch, he could feel parts of his back pop and the feeling of one of his arms on the verge of dislocating. Looking ahead, he could see Akira getting ready to fight as his body started to form light armor around him. As the tasers lines slacked, Aaron unlatched them and quickly changed the magnetic properties in his legs to repel the batons and increased the magnetic strength to his arms, sending Aaron flying towards the beast controlling girl.

It took only a few seconds to reach them, and as Aaron approached, he forgot about the landing but helping Akira was more important, breaking a few bones will be worth something, maybe. "I GOT YOU NOW!!" Yelled Aaron only a few feet away, as he opened his arms in the attempt to steal her from her pet.

Hadley brought the gauntlet down swiftly, aiming to knock him unconscious for good. Even as she did she heard Akira speak.

"Don't you lay a finger on her."

Hadley strained against the hands that had appeared in her way, trying to force it through as she saw with alarm that Akira was still awake. She pulled back, ready to adjust her aim around his barrier and strike again, but she was flung bodily from underneath, catapulted up into the air. Not far enough that the landing injured her, though it certainly didn't tickle. She leapt back to her feet, raising a gauntlet to pull her hair out of her face.

"funk's sake," she growled, seeing he was standing. Even as he started to threaten her her eyes went up to Shiki. Sure enough she was tapping on the Rex's head, and she swiftly shrugged her shoulders to push her headphones back over her ears as Rex roared loudly.

The music deadened the sound, the noise-cancelling tech protecting Hadley's eardrums from bursting. She had been flung far enough away that the shockwave didn't reach her before it had severely dissipated, feeling like a strong wind that caused her to falter briefly before she regained her balance. She breathed raggedly, whipping her head around to see where Akira had gone, headphones sliding back to fall around her neck.

She saw him among the debris. He looked like a ramshackle campfire, a collection of limbs arranged at odd, unnatural angles. She felt herself become a little sick at the sight, but she forced it down, turning to see that he was splinting his leg. She caught sight of Sayuri slamming into a crumbling wall, cushioned by a sphere of light. She winced at the sight of her grabbing at her ears, remembering that dogs had far more sensitive hearing than she did. She reckoned Sayuri was probably deaf by now. But that just made what she had to do all the easier, she realized, as she looked back at Akira and saw the light armor he was making.

"I can't fight back. It's not my place to. But I will protect them, all of them."

But you can't, she realized suddenly, seeing his armor was fading, ragged at the edges. The blood running down his neck... She hadn't taken him down, but she had swiped all but his last leg out from under him. The meaning of this rang out clearly in her mind, like a wave crashing over her. I can DO it.

"You want to destroy all the heroes? Then you're going to have to start with the Shining Star Hero: Procyon!"

Hadley snarled at the words, and began to stride forward. "Don't act like ye' CARE about anythin' but yer'self, Tomoaki... We both know tha's a gob a' shite." She called up towards the girl atop the lizard, noting that Aaron had catapulted himself through the air at her. "Shiki; Take care of these guys. This guy here uses lightnin' or somethin'...I got somethin' I gotta take care of."

So saying, she took off at a run, swinging her left gauntlet up towards the side of Akira's head, and the right a punch directly into his gut. Her eyes glinted red as she shouted at him: "Yah, I'll start with 'ye, Procyon; You, then the rest a' UA!"

As Akira's hearing began to steadily return, this wasn't exactly what he had hoped to hear.

Despite their weight, Hadley seemed to be able to use the gauntlets as well as one would use their own hands, provided they didn't need to pull something out of their pocket. As the fist went toward his face, Akira narrowly managed to lean backward, avoiding the first hit, but the second came as a surprise. The armor on his abdomen shattered, only to be replaced immediately. The new plate of hard light rapidly grew, extending to wrap itself around the gauntlet in an attempt to hold it in place. “So what? You can't control your Quirk, and are too afraid to do anything but gang up with thugs who brought a bomb to kill all those innocent people?” Akira made a swing with his right arm along the inside of Hadley's left, his armored fist doubling in size just before it would reach its target.

“I’ll take you out without any funking QUIRK,” she spat. A loud hissing noise suddenly sounded out, like the pneumatic release of air. The restrained gauntlet suddenly pulled open around the end, allowing Hadley’s hand to be pulled free. She ducked back, the giant fist swiping her, but it wasn’t the clean hit Akira had been looking for, grinding along her side and arm, tearing small gashes in Hadley’s sleeve, flecks of blood spraying out as she grunted through harshly gritted teeth. She swiftly came back in, going for a double tap with her freed hand into Akira’s face, looking carefully at the restrained gauntlet out of the corner of her eye.

Under normal circumstances, the unarmed attack would have hardly been a threat to Akira, but between his incredibly distracting injuries and the restraint he was forced to show, it was all he could manage to block it, a piece of his shoulder armor extending to absorb the blow. Though it provided more than adequate protection to his body, the full suit proved to be more wasteful than it was useful. “Listen, if you want to take me out, that's fine, but right now I'm busy.” Akira jumped backward, as all of his constructs aside from the splint broke away from his body, the entrapped gauntlet hitting the ground. Raising both of his palms toward Hadley, numerous chains of golden light would appear attaching themselves to various points on her body, anchored to the ground. “Your friends are going to get people killed, just like they did in Kashyyyk. If that's what you want, then so be it, but I can't let something like that happen again.”

As he extended his hands out towards her, Hadley fell down into a crouch, thrusting her hand back inside the gauntlet as it hit the ground, and with another hiss, it sealed. Her hand had been out of the gauntlet for two, maybe three seconds. Even that felt like too much. She breathed a deep sigh of relief even as the chains attached to her, before turning her head up towards Akira, glaring with unrestrained contempt.

“I didn’t realize UA started CARING about people who didn’t go there,” she spat. “They’re not my funking FRIENDS, Tomoaki, and neither are you, or anybody in this goddamn hero course. I don’t care what happens here so long as UA gets torn down… And you’ll be going down with it, even with all that power.”

Her face split into a nasty grin. “I figured it out… Yer’ shite armor, droppin’ mah gauntlet… Your Quirk relies on ‘ye being able to maintain it with ‘yer mind.” She began straining, pressing against the chains to try and begin the process of standing up. “Second I figured it out I knew I’d ended this damn fight when it started. ‘Yer bleedin’ from ‘yer head. Only a matter a time before ‘ye can’t even keep up this.”

The chains holding Hadley back tightened, as Akira limped up to her, leaning so that he was just barely outside of her reach. “Well, you're right in that this is all I can manage right now, but you missed a pretty important part of it. This effort is what is required to control my quirk, not use it. It's like a turbine in a hydroelectric dam. Right now, I'm micromanaging where the tiny little bit I can hold goes. Are you really sure you want those floodgates opened?” Akira took a deep breath before stepping back, refusing to break eye contact through his glasses. “I'm only going to ask this once. Did your team bring another bomb, like they used in Kashyyyk?” Though his tone was measured, both of Akira’s fists were clenched at his side, ready to retaliate if the traitor tried anything.

Hadley was not so willing to maintain eye contact. She looked away, growling lightly even as she struggled to shrug off the chains. “I don’ know, alright?” she admitted shortly, avoiding his gaze. “I don’ reckon so, otherwise they woulda’ just popped it in the stadium, right?” She paused before continuing. “I wasn’t on board for Kashyyyk. I was for this… Maybe ye’ should think about why tha’ is?” This last bit held a lingering air of anger, and she now turned back to Akira, the full force of her anger directed at him. “Or have ‘ye been behind them goggles too long, Tomoaki?”

Akira's knuckles began to glow, thin stripes of hard light painting his skin almost like a circuit board as the chains around Hadley steadily grew looser and weaker. “Did you see what happened there?” Tears cut through the blood caked on his face, as Akira's voice grew ragged. “They aren't trying to crusade for Quirkless rights, or make whatever kind of world you want out of all this. They don't care who dies. You hate this stupid school so much that you'd throw away everyone who was killed in Kashyyyk just because they showed up for work??” By the end of his sentence, Akira was practically screaming into Hadley's face. “How many more people are you going to let die just because the world pissed you off?”

Hadley returned fire by yelling just as loudly. “It’s not just UA, you dumb funk! It’s all of it! The heroes that reach out a hand to you only to let you fall anyway! They sit on top of the buildings they can fly on top of and they can ignore everyone who gets caught in the shite beneath ‘em! Look at fuckin’ Ichiro, breakin’ his goddamn arms all tha’ time! He’s gonna get his’self KILLED!” Hadley was starting to cry now, and she barely even registered that she was now up on one leg, the other knee still lowered, rising slowly. “I never wanted people to die! Do ‘ye think I WANTED this to be the way out?” she demanded. “‘Ye think I wanted to be here with Bloodstone, with Shiki, with bloody WENDIGO? Course I ‘feckin don’t, those funkers are NUTTERS. But they put a hand out to me when I needed it, when I needed a hero, when UA pulled that hand away and let me fall… And I can’t let anyone else fall, not like I did. NEVER AGAIN.”

Snarling through his teeth, Akira grabbed her by the jacket, his entire right arm shrouded in light. “Where the hell are the heroes now, then?” Using his free hand to gesture outward, he shook Hadley, almost violently, “Everyone here is trying to protect the people who got caught up in the crossfire! You aren't fixing anything helping these people, you're just going to get more people killed. Why can't you get this through your head? You blame the heroes for failing you, while your allies are doing everything they can to stop anyone from being saved. All you are accomplishing is helping these maniacs make more orphans, but you are too caught up in your victim complex to realize that what these people need to be saved from is you.” In that single emotionally charged moment, Akira let his attention slip just the slightest bit. It wasn't much, but it was more than enough for the chains around Hadley to fall apart, drifting down to the ground and fading away.

Taking advantage of the chains disintegrating and Akira’s proximity, Hadley forced herself to her feet, slamming her forehead directly into Akira’s own in a fierce headbutt, pushing him away from her as she stood tall again, looking furious as she stood with her gauntlets raised once again, face scrunched in pain from the strike, the edges of her iron fists blurred by the rapid vibrating they were still undergoing.

“Maybe there don’t need to be any of us either...” she admitted bitterly. “I’ll work on tha’, after this. The Quirkless will be better off without any of us. But ‘fer now… You are REALLY pissin’ me off.” She raised her arms, moving to slam her gauntlets on either side of Akira’s head with a loud cry of effort, forcing them together as hard as she could.

The impact to his forehead caused Akira to stumble backward, but he was hardly given a chance to regain his composure. Without skipping a beat, Hadley was on the offense once again, bringing both of her huge gauntlets in toward his head. Crossing his arms in front of him, Akira devoted everything he could to a shield on either side of him, stopping the gauntlets only inches away. As he fell down onto his knee, his broken leg no longer supported, he could hear a constant pounding on the inside of the giant metal hands. What the hell was going on in there?

“Think ‘yer fuckin’ so GREAT, do yeh?” she roared, swiping at the shield again, the gauntlet bouncing off as the gleaming wall of light noticeably cracked. “So fecking CONCERNED, hero.” Another hit, ignoring the rest of his body, devoted purely to smashing the barrier that protected his head, even as every impact jarred her wrists. Don’t stop, she thought feverishly to herself. Don’t let up for even a second. Make him crumble. “Must be easy, sittin’ on top’a tha’ skyscraper with all them, right? Omega Star, Lady Law?” SMASH. “Never anythin’ to concern ya with what’s goin’ on down below. Us who don’t have such a GODLY QUIRK as fuckin’ Procyon himself!” She lunged in with another savage strike to the barrier. “Never had a Quirk destroy ‘yer FUCKIN’ LIFE… I’ll bloody do it FOR ‘ye, then. See how tha’ funk you like it.”

Win. Akira could hear the murmur in his head, the same inner voice that goaded him on against Mike, before he manifested The Wing. Fight back. It got louder and louder, a storm of anger and aggression. Destroy her. Akira could feel his defense beginning to let up. He couldn't maintain this for much longer. He already felt dizzy, having been bleeding heavily from multiple wounds. It would be easy. The worst part was that he knew the voice was right. He could feel the strength within reach. He could sit back and just let autopilot splatter her across the entire stadium. The crude shape of a wing began forming on Akira's back as he was lifted from the ground. His breathing sped up, and an expression of utter contempt looked down on Hadley as the splint reformed on his leg. This was it. This was how he won. All he had to do was open the floodgate.

“No!”

A simultaneous impact from both gauntlets shattered what remained of his shields, the light from their destruction bright enough to be seen across the stadium. Lying on the ground, barely holding his head up, was Akira, the stardust remains of his constructs surrounding him, before being caught in a gust of wind and fading away in the distance. Reaching up, he pulled off his sunglasses, looking Hadley straight in the eyes, the glow in his own dulled to barely be visible by this point. “I'm not on top of a skyscraper. I'm right here, with you. You were right, I can't defend any longer… and I'm not going to fight back, either. The other girl called you Hadley, right?” Akira smiled lightly, before coughing for a few too many seconds, bright red blood dripping from the edge of his mouth. “That's… a pretty name.”

Hadley breathed deeply, her head feeling light after the flurry of the barrage she had been dishing out. She had jerked back on instinct when the shields had broken so brightly, but now she saw Akira was lying on the ground. No armor, no chains, no wing, no splint keeping his leg together, even. His light had faded. She couldn’t believe it for a second. Had she really done it? Had she taken out Akira?

She stepped slowly up to him as he spoke, meeting his eyes again as she loomed over him, for once showing a degree of patience as she lowered herself to one knee, crouched beside him as he coughed up blood. She frowned as he continued, a blip of confusion registering in her face as he spoke.

“Down here, with me, huh?” she asked softly, raising her head to look around them, breathing ragged as she observed the tumultuous chaos that surrounded their fight. It had felt like the world was ending around them at the time, but now that they had died down, they weren’t shouting or moving to blows, it felt oddly isolated. Small in the wake of Rex and the pro heroes and the other students.

She shook her head slowly, a single, humorless chuckle escaping her. “Not gonna lie, Tomoaki… I wish you’d been down here before this all started. Arms, Wolf Gal too… Ye’ ain’t all so bad. Not yet, anyway.” She took a deep breath. “I’m sorry ‘ye thought bein’ a hero was the best thing ‘ta do… These days it really aint.” She raised her right arm, readying one final backhand across Akira’s face.

“You need to get out of here. It's not safe.”

Hadley frowned, irritation poking it’s way back into her expression. “Oh, shu’ up… Still tryin’ to be a hero, eh? Well… Better than me, I guess. I could never do it. Was only ever lookin’ to save myself.”

With that she brought the gauntlet down in a swift pendulum arc, striking Akira across the face, his head jerking to the side as his cheek began to bleed, the boy unconscious.

Hadley rose, grimly looking around her as she tried to fight back the tightening in her chest. Her gauntlets vibrated strongly, and she clenched her hands inside them, silently willing them to stop, trying to lose herself in the music drifting up from her headphones. It worked, but only a little bit.

“Alrigh’... Let’s see who’s next,” she said wearily, turning and striding towards the prone form of Sayuri.

"Leave, Valerie.  Find your friends.  They need you.  I can handle myself."

Valerie held a hand up to her cheek, where Neko had hit her, and shook her head. "Maybe you can but they came here to capture you. They probably have a plan. If you lose, even if you win and get hurt, then they get the advantage. There are people getting hurt RIGHT NOW who need you. Fighting them here just means letting them fight on their terms.....I'll go, I'll leave, but I'm going to where the others are fighting." Valerie backed away. "If you really want to 'keep me safe' then you better follow." With saying that Valerie continued on her original course towards the stadium. She could only hope that Neko would come with. Arguing any more would just give the villains more time to hurt people.

She still didn't know what she'd do when she got there. The biggest threat was that massive creature and it wasn't as though she could fight against it without her Quirk. But maybe some of the villains had landed closer to the ground. She could still fight even without a Quirk. She just had to find someone she could reach....

At the end of the hallway, where it branched off into another, Valerie saw...Casey? Yes, definitely Casey, running down the hall. And following him was... "...Well, I can reach THAT." she muttered as her face split into her wild grin.

Valerie took off around the corner to give chase. She called out ahead of her. "Hey Casey, what d'ya think you're doing? The bad guy is the other way!" She said this with a playful tone despite the situation. She had emerged around the corner right behind the raptor so she was still close enough that she could jump up and onto the beast's back. With a laugh she held onto the things neck and did the first thing that came to mind.

She began punching the dinosaur in the back of the head.

Mike

"Show me, your strength!" The villain shouted, hefting one of the stadium seats right from its supports and flinging it right in Mike's direction. With the object's size and weight, however, it seemed to move sluggishly through the air compared to many of the projectiles Mike had avoided during that day, and all it took was simply diving out of the way as the plastic-and-metal seat collided with the row that he had just occupied.

"Mike!" Terro snapped, catching Mike off-guard. "Go help the others! I'll take this guy down!"

"I-- but--" Mike started a dozen-and-one different thoughts, but growled under his breath. He absolutely hated the idea of leaving someone behind, but seeing how the fight was going he knew deep down that he was only going to get in the way here. "Fine, just... don't die! I'm gonna get some help!"

Mike ran towards the stairwell that lead into the stadium's interior, sliding down the railings and kicking off the far wall to keep himself from slamming into it, a trail of green light left in his wake as he turned what would be a light jog into a brisk run. As he continued, the sounds of commotion seemed to grow louder, changing from the panicked screams of bystanders to...

...dinosaurs?

Mike found himself face-to-face with at least one raptor, with Valerie stradling its back and beating it down. Mike tensed himself to sprint forward, but the flailing of teeth and claws made him second-guess that course of action.

"Val! Are you okay?!" Mike called out, uselessly, observing the scene that Valerie very clearly had everything covered for.

"If my classmates betray me and become villains, then I'll stop them too.  U.A. was a bit afraid of taking me in, you know.

All of this back and forth was enough to cement the fact in her mind that this lady was Asuka's mother.  Asuka, her closest friend this year, had a villain for a mother.  She still lay crooked on the floor, as she struggled to get up.

"Suna is a fool.  He thought he could take you away from me.  I see that he's already inflicted your mind with all of those sentiments...what else has he told you?"  Bloodstone took the threatening stones from above Ino, and placed them behind her back once more.  "I see that not even threatening your friends safety will back you down.  But Asuka, my beloved, you are leaving this stadium with me!"  She said fiercely, as she placed a hand on her katana's grip.  Then, 20 stones from behind her back appeared from out of sight, and shot their way towards Asuka.  With the gems thrown, Bloodstone made her mad dash towards Asuka, drawing her sword as quickly as she had unleashed her quirk.  She aimed to maim, not to kill.  "I'm sorry Asuka...I can't let you interfere with my goals, even if you are my daughter."

Before Bloodstone's sword could reach her, Ino popped up in between the two, her body being totally obscured as the whirring sound of her body rang through the hallway.  Ino sprang out her whole body wide, as the sword made contact with her body.  Bloodstone furrowed her brow in annoyance.

"It doesn't matter.  Maybe your friend's death will show you the ligh-" She was interrupted when the Katana merely bounced off without so much as scratching the girl.

Ino then became more visible, as the whirring sound died down.  She then sounded off in a rather raspy voice.

"Mama's...shouldn't...act...like that."

Bloodstone's eyes became furious, as she ran towards Ino again, this time aiming for her center of mass with the sword.

Shiki watched the fight between Hadley and that Procyon boy all the way on top of Rex's head, clapping every time she got a good hit on him.  Then she heard someone shout out.

"I GOT YOU NOW!!"

When Shiki turned her head, it was already too late.  The boys grip on her made them sail through the air, away from her friend.  As they started their descent, Shiki shouted out almost in a panic.  She threw her arm out as if she could stretch it out to grab back onto him, but they were travelling too fast.

"REX!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The monster took the time to watch as his owner was being mercilessly dragged away.  His eyes became bloodshot as he now desperately tried to struggle out of this binding sand that he had been caught in.  It roared ferociously, swinging it's head back and forth in rage.  So far, only it's torso had been captured by the sand.  His stomping became more erratic, shaking the ground for all those close by, causing more and more rubble to fall from the stands.  His tail slammed into the ground, causing the streets themselves to split apart.  Then, Rex reeled back his enormous head, and took another deep breath.  When he brought his face back towards the Arena, he opened his maw not to roar...

But to unleash a giant wave of flames into the stadium.

HQiOaTA.png?1

dH0yoHh.png7YjnuMG.jpg

Binding this monstrosity was taking all of his strength and concentration.  Not to mention all of the heroes now had to deal with Wendigo, and protect him all the while.  However, Suna could make the faint outlines of four of his students, confronting the monstrosity, or near the vicinity.  Losing concentration for a moment gave the beast enough wiggle room to roar.  After the incident, one of his students now lie unconscious on the ground.

"Those kids..."  He said, as his arm started to deteriorate, revealing the stump he had received from his last encounter with Wendigo.  The sand from his arm was enough to creep towards Akira, and move his body so he was out of harms way.  He had to move quite a bit in fact.  He wasn't able to think about both things at once, and it gave the beast almost free roam in his sand.  The next thing he knew, the stadium was being flooded with fire.  "Great."  Suna, in a bit of panicky haste, retracted all of the sand from the monster, and made a giant sand wall in front of all the fighting heroes.  He swept away those who were scaling the bridge in order to bring the fight to the monster back to the field, spitting them out behind the wall as well.  The flames were so insanely hot, that Suna could feel his grasp on the sand weaken, due to it turning to pure glass.  The shield wouldn't hold out for much longer if the monster was given enough time.

"Look's like you're all gonna end up Barbecued!  I prefer deep fried, but this is fine too!  GAHAHAHAHA!"  The laugh made Suna's stomach drop again.

"Shut yer yap!"

"SWITCH!"  Principal Glory yelled out, as he and Mako went back to back.  They both pivoted a foot, as Principal Glory formed a shied from his arm, and Mako wound a punch.  The shield blocked an invisible punch, that managed to make Principal Glory's arm bounce back, while Mako delivered a devastating punch into Wenigo's jaw, causing it to snap out of place, and send him flying towards wall on the opposite side of the sand shield.

"Yikes...that was a pretty cool move heroes."  He said, cracking his slacked jaw back into place.

"HOWLING FORCE!"  The masked hero from before said, as two white wolves were shot out from his body.  The white wolves bit down onto Wendigo's arms, trying to pin them to the wall.  However, Wendigo merely swung his arms together to destroy the creations in an explosion of white paint.

"Yer' gonna have to do better than that now!  GAHAHAAAAHAHAHA!"  He snapped, as he got up and made a mad dash for all the heroes.  Mako's fist tightened in anticipation.

"This guy's got guts...but he can back it up too."

"We're on the clock Mako.  No time to be having fun.  We have to end this."  Glory said, raising his sword and shield once more.

"I'll work on that then."  The boy then slid out from underneath him, and regained his posture.  With a punch not meant for him, some small rubble was flung towards his body.  The man's body turned entirely gray once again, as the rocks turned to dust as they hit him.

"Work on it?"  The man grimaced.  He then approached the wobbling boy, and performed a roundhouse kick right on the side of the Terro's head.  He walked up slowly towards Terro, who had fallen to the side once more, only to him up by the hair.  "That's why you're such a disappointment Terro.  You should have already worked on it."  The man dropped Terro down again, only to pick up his foot, preparing to jam it into Terro's face, when a large gust of wind pushed him off Balance, and pinned him against a wall.  If Terro hadn't lost conscious by now, he would realize that Tempest had shown up in the concessions area.

"I was escorting citizens out of the exits when I heard a loud crash.  I'm glad I found you in time Khikyu!"  A gust of wind picked up Terro off of his feet, while the wind from earlier still pushed against the mysterious man.  "Can you move?  If you can, let me handle this!  You need to seek shelter immediately!  Find a friend, and take them with you!"

"Why...you..."  The man said, as his skin turned from a more pale shade of gray, to a darker one.  He dropped to the ground, as it broke beneath him.  He then took a step forward, as his long hair almost seemed to drag him due to the sheer wind force.  "Don't...interrupt...his...training."

Gin had finally made it out of the stadium, along with a lot of other citizens.  He looked back to see the giant dinosaur shattering the ground near one of the exits, making it almost impossible for those civilians to leave as well.  He grit his teeth in annoyance.  He was more than a hindrance to everybody right now, than someone worth a damn.  Instead, he had to turn tail and run...run all the way home.

"I'll never let you touch her again!"  He growled to himself, huffing as he traveled towards the emergency crews being gathered outside.  They asked if he was alright, but he merely shoved past them in a hurry.

HQiOaTA.png?1

 HfjXE7j.jpg

"VALERIE!"  A voice cried out behind her.  Nurse Neko was running towards the girl in a hurry, as she extended one small claw that she pricked into the dinosaur she was on top of.  In a couple of seconds, the raptor's head wobbled dizzily, as it collapsed to the ground.  She helped up the 1-B student from the collapsed raptor's back, and smiled.  "If we're both alright, that's all that mattered to me.  I had already evacuated the rest of the ward, so seeing you stand your ground there...it frightened me!  I had to act!  But you're okay!  And now we need to find more people to help!"  From the hallway, Nurse Neko could see the entire field in front of them be engulfed with a large flame, as she saw the other heroes tussle with another villain.

"That's the guy...that's the guy who took 1-A's teacher's arm!"  She said, pointing out towards the fight.  "And he's fighting off all of those pros by himself.  What even is he..."  She said with her voice trembling.

"These hallways are so twisty turny!"  The voice from before echoed through the halls.

"I think I saw her go this way...it's so ugly for one to flee from a fight like that."

There was no choice now.  They were all stuck between a rock and two psychos.  She probably couldn't take them both out with just her abilities alone...she had to get them to the safest place possible.  And now Casey and Mike were with them.  Good.  If there were any stragglers, she had to save them.

"We have to find another exit!  Quick!  Let's go all of you!"  Nurse Neko exclaimed, taking the lead and heading up some stairs.  There were many exits in site that lead down to stairs!  It was their only option to avoid both fights, and get the student's out safely.

Class B Squad ~ Casey

"Hey Casey, what d'ya think you're doing? The bad guy is the other way!"

That voice! No way! Casey thought, glancing behind him to see it was indeed in fact Valerie, on the raptor's back and was punching it in the back of the head.

"Ha! You know that isn't my thing, Val!" he laughed, still in a bit of a panicked mode...after all, a raptor was on his ass still. "Besides! I was only coming this way to get you! Shin and Aina were worried about you! Plus we were going to evacuate...buuuuuut wasn't expecting freakin' Jurassic Park happening!!"

"Val! Are you okay?!"

Casey glanced over and now saw Mike here, before laughing weakly. "DO WE LOOK OKAY, CHAMP?!" he shouted, still running, until he noticed Nurse Neko stopping the raptor in it's tracks. To this, Casey was finally able to catch his breath. "A-Awesome...n-n-now maybe we need to get the hell outta here..."

"These hallways are so twisty turny!"

"I think I saw her go this way...it's so ugly for one to flee from a fight like that."

"We have to find another exit!  Quick!  Let's go all of you!"

"Then less talky...and more running!" Casey quickly said, before starting to run again. Well...got Val finally...bonus, found Nurse Neko too! That oughta help out a lot more!

Class B Squad ~ Shin and Aina

"Alright...that's another set of civilians evacuated..." Shin and his other selves stood near Aina, who simply nodded.

"Good. Doesn't seem like this is gonna stop anytime soon...like, if at all."

Shin and his other selves nodded in unison. "Unfortunately...luckily most of the Pros are dealing with the villains, which means most of our duties are in or-....holy sheet." he seemed on edge now, before noticing the giant lizard blowing fire. "Aina...Aina move now!"

"Dooooon't have to tell me twice!" Aina shouted, running with Shin, as his other selves merged back into one. "This is complete insanity!!"

Shin then pivoted slightly, grabbing Aina's wrist and yanking her into a small area near another staircase. He wasn't sure how far the radius would be for the fire...but he did need to make sure that she was alright. Case...you better've found Val and gotten the hell outta dodge...

"Suna is a fool. He thought he could take you away from me. I see that he's already inflicted your mind with all of those sentiments...what else has he told you? I see that not even threatening your friends safety will back you down. But Asuka, my beloved, you are leaving this stadium with me!"

With that, Bloodstone drew her weapon, and started toward Asuka, along with firing no less than twenty crystals. Twenty... that was the exact amount Asuka had at her disposal right now. It seemed she'd be fighting after all. Asuka moved the crystals surrounding Ino away from her, and put them up in front of herself to block the crystals Bloodstone had fired off. That was that attack handled, but Asuka could see small cracks in the surface of her crystals. Were her crystals still weaker than Bloodstone's? It made sense.

"I'm sorry Asuka...I can't let you interfere with my goals, even if you are my daughter."

However, Asuka didn't have much time to think about it with her mother rapidly approaching, sword in hand. Now that, she was familiar with. She'd heard stories from Hitomi, talking about how "Kokoro always carried that wooden sword around" and "If you didn't know better, you'd swear it was part of her arm when she fought!" In the first round of the tournament, Valerie was a dangerous opponent. But for the first time, Asuka felt that an enemy who was now getting close to her was actually deadly.

However, there was a blur as somebody suddenly put themselves between Asuka and the sword, making a whirring sound as it vibrated violently. That wasn't just any blur though, was Ino! "It doesn't matter.  Maybe your friend's death will show you the ligh-" And then, the sword bounced harmlessly off of Ino's body.

"Mama's...shouldn't...act...like that."

"She's right!"

BGM

Bloodstone's sword thrusted forward, aimed at Ino. She was willing to go so far as to kill Asuka's friends, just to show her that these villainous ways were the "right" thing to do? To get Asuka out of here? Did Ino really have to die to get that message across? No... that wasn't right at all. Time felt like it had slowed to a crawl in that moment. Asuka could feel something else bubbling up inside her now. Suddenly, she didn't feel afraid of Bloodstone or having to fight her. What Asuka was feeling now was something else.

Anger. The fact that her mother would even think about doing something this horrible, let alone actively trying to do it, couldn't be forgiven. It was like every piece of negative emotion Asuka had about her mother was rising to the surface at once. It was hard to keep her head on straight, but now most of all, she had to think. Asuka thought about her opponent, trying to work out a way to win. What was the difference in power between her and her mother? They could both produce crystals and fire them off at people, but...

"You are underestimating the applications of your quirk. She didn't become as notable as she did just by throwing rocks around. You lost because you let that girl get close to you. Viewing your quirk as nothing more than projectiles or the occasional barrier is holding you back."

That had to be it. Asuka thought back to the raptors. She'd done something else then, something she wouldn't have thought of in a calmer situation. By putting the crystals next to her body and firing them when she hit, they made her punch hit that much harder. But with how sturdy her crystals had gotten thanks to her updated diet... they could also protect her! Asuka shoved Ino aside, trying to be gentle enough to not knock her over entirely, as she arranged a roughly armor-like formation of no less than six crystals around her right arm. Asuka moved forward, swinging her crystal-"armored" arm upward to strike Bloodstone's sword, followed by a volley of five crystals that shot out from behind her, aimed at Bloodstone's right side.

"What kind of mother would murder her daughter's friends right in front of her to make a point!?" Asuka rounded up four more crystals around her left arm, swinging it directly at the villain standing before her. "After being ostracized by Quirked and Quirkless alike just because I inherited YOUR Quirk!?" She then fired the remaining five crystals, aimed roughly for the center of Bloodstone's body. "And now you want me to be hated and feared by the world just like you!?"

The crystals around Asuka began spinning in place furiously, not unlike the attack she'd performed against the raptors just earlier. "IS THAT THE FUTURE YOU WANTED FOR ME, VILLAIN!?" Asuka thrusted both of her arms forward, firing off the remaining ten crystals as they spun through the air. Her breathing was heavy and ragged. She didn't stop to notice the tears filling up her eyes; she was focused too hard on the villain in front of her. More crystals began to creep out of Asuka's biceps, hovering in the air just in front of her.

... 24... ... 28... ... 30. I don't know if I can do this. But I have to.

h1v7t2f.png

She couldn't hear the fight. She couldn't hear much of anything. But she could still see; that was certain. She saw Aaron catapult himself up onto that Rex's head and snatch the lizard girl off of it. She saw Hadley's sucker punch, and the subsequent "fight" she had with Akira. That was the one that bothered her. She'd been under the impression Hadley was a U.A. support student studying some of 1-A's students for homework. She'd even offered Hadley a way to work on Gin's Quirk. But she was one of them? Sayuri's lips curled as Hadley started walking in her direction, fangs bared. If she could have made the sound, she would have been growling right now.

She could see Hadley's lips moving. She was saying something. Sayuri couldn't hear the words. She turned her attention to the voice device still resting on her arm. She could see the battery charge. 2%. Those solar batteries were mighty handy right now. Sayuri felt a bit ashamed that she wouldn't have thought of them herself. Hopefully Hadley's ears weren't as blown out as Sayuri's. Sayuri put a hand to her device, switched it on, and began typing. I'll have to make this quick, before I run the batteries out again.

"I don't especially want to be a hero. It's just what my parents want for me. But, I don't like villains, and I'm a bit of a hypocrite for this, but I really don't like liars. Your friend's pet gave me a splitting headache though, so I'd rather not fight right now. Here's a choice: You can keep up the villain act and I'll have to fight you, or you can--"

She couldn't feel the small vibrations from the machine's speaker anymore. The battery must have died again. A quick glance at its blackened screen confirmed her suspicions. Can't imagine she knows sign language. Let's try to put this in a way she'll understand. Sayuri pointed at the large metal gauntlets on Hadley's hand, then at the nearest pile of rubble. Then, she made a gesture akin to throwing a large rock up in the air. With crossed arms, Sayuri glanced back and forth between Hadley and the rubble, foot tapping on the ground impatiently. She wasn't strong enough to deal with the larger pieces, and every moment counted in an evacuation.

Class 1-B: Sayaka, Kaito

"This evacuation stuff is killing my poor spinnerets," Sayaka groaned, as she slowly crawled down the outside wall of the stadium. Trailing behind her was a thick rope of webbing, the other end of which connected to a large piece of rubble. However, it was something that moved these big rocks long enough for everyone trapped under them to escape. Not all of them were still alive by the time she and her classmates had gotten to them. Seeing the ones she couldn't help was a haunting sight. I'll save as many as I can. I'm better than I was. I can't let that happen again, ever!

"Sayaka!" one of the boys of the class called out, leaning over the edge of the stands to get a look at her. "That's everyone under this one! Looks like they're all alive and getting out of dodge!"

"Really!?" Sayaka cut off the webbing from her body, letting the large piece of rubble gently roll back into place, as she hurried back up the wall. She glanced around. The next one would have to be...

Sayaka's attention fell onto a boy with a broken arm. He was still helping people get out, even in his condition? More importantly, she recognized him! Nudging the boy beside her with her elbow, Sayaka pointed to the boy and asked "Hey, isn't he one of 1-A's?"

"Uh... yeah? The strong guy, right? Must be rough breaking your own arms like that..."

"He's still got one left though!" That would be really helpful with the evacuations, right? Sayaka then turned her attention to the stage, where that lizard girl's pet monster was unleashing a spray of flames onto everyone. That thing was really getting to be a problem. Then her attention turned back to the strong boy The corners of Sayaka's mouth turned upward in a very distinct fashion, revealing the retracted fangs in her mouth. Something was coming together in her head. "Kaito, come with me. I've got an idea."

Sayaka skittered over toward the boy's location, hurrying along until she was finally in earshot. "Hey! 1-A kid!" Sayaka continued closer, until she was close enough to have a proper-volume conversation, Kaito not far behind her. "You're reaaaaaaaaaaally strong, right? We saw you in the tournament." The eight-legged girl then pointed toward the behemoth that lizard girl was controlling. "Wanna help us do something about that thing?"
