"Ha! You know that isn't my thing, Val!"

Valerie didn't like the idea that he came here for her. By himself. Taking that risk just for her....she shouldn't have made them worry so much. But no more. She was going to make sure they knew there was nothing to worry about. Which is why she continued to cling tight to the dinosaur even as it thrashed about.

"Val! Are you okay?!"

"DO WE LOOK OKAY, CHAMP?!"

She had a brief moment of bitterness as she saw Mike standing there. But it quickly faded as she saw how concerned he looked. "Of course! Kinda wish I had a saddle but this is no biggie at all!" She responded with a smile.

If we're both alright, that's all that mattered to me.  I had already evacuated the rest of the ward, so seeing you stand your ground there...it frightened me!  I had to act!  But you're okay!  And now we need to find more people to help!"

The sudden drop almost caused Valerie to fall off the raptor's back, as she was preparing to punch it again, but with the nurse's steadying hand she was able to hop off without a problem. "Yeah, there's a lot of people who need help. We need to..."

Her gaze moved towards the field. The flames...if only her Quirk was working she could go out there and fight those villains. Especially the large one. She had a terrible feeling she knew who that had been. And if it was...and if he hurt anyone...

"We have to find another exit!  Quick!  Let's go all of you!"

Nurse Neko's words brought her back to the present. That's right, she had to make a choice right here right now. The nurse was going up the stairs, and Casey would certainly follow. The two villains behind them were coming. She doubted they'd go out and join their allies in the clearing. They'd probably follow where Neko had gone.

She could go into the clearing and fight. She could try and take out the two approaching villains. Or she could go with Neko.

Keeping Nurse Neko from getting captured was important. But Casey was with her. That combined with the fact that she was a pro hero should be enough. They wouldn't need Valerie....

"Ha! You know that isn't my thing, Val!"

Casey's words came back to her...that's right. She didn't just have to make sure Nurse Neko was safe. But Casey, too.

Dammit...

"Mike!" Valerie called out. "I dunno what you plan to do but if you go out there and see any of the pros let them know. A couple villains are trying to capture Nurse Neko. I have a feeling that they might be after even more than just her....And hey, you have nothing to worry about. You beat the guy who beat me so there's no way you could lose to lame villains like this."

With that said she followed Casey and Neko up the stairs. "Yo Casey." Valerie said. "Next dinosaur we run into you should smack around a bit instead. It's fantastic stress relief, trust me!" the girl finished her statement with a laugh.

"That's right Valerie. Be bright. Don't show how much it's getting to you. People need confidence. People need hope. Be the hope. If they see you panic they'll panic."

No matter how shaken she got she had to go past it. She had to fight on with a smile. Even if she had to punch a hundred dinosaurs she wasn't about to let these villains break her.

Ichiro continued to help the civilians to the stairway, directing them as best he could. Luckily, some of the other students were already making quick work of the raptors...thankfully. That meant he didn't have to hurt himself again by using his Quirk.

Still, he felt uneasy and quite bad at the fact that this was all he was being able to do. Of course it was something that was absolutely necessary. He didn't have the Hero License that was needed for all the huge heroics, so this was the best course of action that he could do. But at the same time, he felt...useless.

What's the point of having this Quirk and power...if I can't use it? Ichiro thought, his uninjured hand balling up into a tight fist. He glanced once more towards the huge T-Rex and shook his head. Besides...how would I even get over there to h-

"Hey! 1-A kid! You're reaaaaaaaaaaally strong, right? We saw you in the tournament. Wanna help us do something about that thing?"

His thoughts were cut short, as he looked up quickly and saw two individuals coming up towards him. They looked like students...well, one looked almost like a literal spider, but she was the one talking to him. The other, with blue hair, looked pretty normal in comparison.

"H-Huh? Oh...y-yeah, I'm from 1-A. I-Ichiro Adachi... Um, I'm sorry...but you are you both? You know me but I don't know either of you."

The eight-legged girl pointed to herself and her blue-haired companion, and said "Sayaka Hachimoto, Class 1-B. Sleeping Beauty over here is Kaito Takanashi, also Class 1-B."

"Oh, your from Mako's class with Valerie." Ichiro nodded. "Nice to meet you both...sorta wish it was under better circumstances. Um...now why were you asking me for help and then pointed at the T-Rex, exactly?"

"Wellllll..." Sayaka glanced around, at some of the larger piles of rubble nearby. "Do you like Japan's space program?"

"What kind of question is that?" Ichiro asked, more confused than before now.

Pointing at the dino again, Sayaka proudly exclaimed "I wanna slingshot you into that thing! And then you can punch it, like, POW! And that should knock it out."

"....ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?!" Ichiro exclaimed. "H-How am I going to get from here to there like that?! Just by a web slingshot? That won't work the way you think it will."

"Tsk, tsk, tsk." Sayaka directed her finger to some of the larger piles of rubble around the stadium, and explained "It's all about how big the slingshot is and how tightly we pull back on it. It's like the difference between firing a little pebble out of an actual slingshot, and doing the same thing from a catapult. It won't be fast, but I can make something big enough to shoot you up there to that thing's face."

...what the hell is Mako teaching his students? Ichiro thought, shaking his head slightly.

Class B Squad ~ Casey

"Yo Casey. Next dinosaur we run into you should smack around a bit instead. It's fantastic stress relief, trust me!"

Casey laughed, shaking his head slowly. "How about we say I did and I don't?" he glanced back at Valerie, shrugging. "Between you and me, I raaaaaather not end up trying to find a career in raptor taming. ...though being nicknamed 'The Raptor Whisperer' would be kinda cool..."

Then again...maybe she was right. Maybe he could actually try that out...especially with Hyperjump.

"On second thought...yeah, maybe I will." Casey nodded slightly. "Just let's say it this way...raptor only. I'd be fine with something more my height."

Mike

"DO WE LOOK OKAY, CHAMP?!" The other 1-B student had shouted at Mike, causing him to wince.

"Of course! Kinda wish I had a saddle but this is no biggie at all!" Valerie responded with a smile, causing Mike to breath a sigh of relief. Nurse Neko soon stepped in and neutralized the raptor with one hit, causing Valerie to lose her balance.

"If we're both alright, that's all that mattered to me," Nurse Neko said, helping Valerie off of the dinosaur. "I had already evacuated the rest of the ward, so seeing you stand your ground there... it frightened me! I had to act!  But you're okay! And now we need to find more people to help!"

"Yeah, there's a lot of people who need help. We need to..."

The whole arena seemed to shake and a wave of hot air washed through the hallway, and Mike was sure that this wasn't Valerie. Mike looked down the wave he had come and could see a bright, angry orange glow flickering around the corner. Immediately his thoughts jumped to the people still outside on the stands and what might be happening to them. To make things worse, down the other end of the hall voices could be heard echoing against the concrete walls, and Mike could bet anything they didn't belong to heroes.

"We have to find another exit! Quick! Let's go all of you!" Nurse Neko shouted, turning towards one of the doors in the hall and ushering the two other students to follow after her.

"Mike!" She called out. "I dunno what you plan to do but if you go out there and see any of the pros let them know. A couple villains are trying to capture Nurse Neko. I have a feeling that they might be after even more than just her... And hey, you have nothing to worry about. You beat the guy who beat me so there's no way you could lose to lame villains like this."

Mike smiled. "You're right, but even so... it's like you told me: no matter the odds, we gotta press forward!" He said with a slight fist pump, and turned to Nurse Neko. "I'm sorry, Nurse, but I have friends still in the stadium and I need to make sure they're okay! I can't just leave them knowing I could have done something. I'll do my best to stay out of trouble!" He turned to face down the hall that he heard the two villains calling out from and swallowed, considering his options. He could either brave the fires and, most likely, have to turn around and take his chances with the villains having lost the element of surprise, or...

Mike turned back as Val and Casey started towards where Nurse Neko was leading them. "Hey Val!" he called back, and gave a thumbs up. "You're awesome, and you got this!"

In a blur of green light, Mike began to run down the hall, towards the villains that had been chasing after them. At the very least he can give that moment's distraction for those three to get away while he made back his way back to the arena, but if this was going to work he needed to be fast. He unhooked the second taser ball from his belt and activated it. As he rounded a corner and the voices became louder, Mike skidded around the corner and let out another blast of force as he sprinted forward.

"Hey jerks, think fast!" Mike shouted, pitching the taser ball at the ground in front of him as hard as he could, watching it bounce back up towards the two villains. As their attention would be occupied with the flying projectile, Mike flung himself forward as a streaking, green bolt, throwing himself down onto the ground into a baseball-slide aimed directly between the two. Whether he hit them or they jumped out of the way Mike had a hard time telling with how fast things were moving, and once past he launched himself back to his feet, sprinting down and jumping off against another wall as he made a break for the exit back into the arena's grounds.

Isami hurried down the stairs, the people following him. Almost all of the raptors that had been attacking them on the stadium had been dealt with by both him and Akira, and those that were on the ground level were occupied. Except for one raptor, who's eyes locked onto Isami's. With a hiss, Isami lunged at the raptor, which managed to claw at Isami's face as the fangs dropped onto the side of the beast. Much like its brothers and sisters, the raptor soon collapsed from paralysis as Isami's blood dripped onto its body. "Thissssssss way!" Isami turned to the group that had stuck with him, nudging his head towards a nearby exit. Seeing a distinct lack of raptors in his way, Isami shifted back into a completely human form as he guided the civilians out of the danger zone.

As Isami and the group of civilians got close to the exit, another roar filled the air. This time, however, it was followed by the crackling of fire which was, temporarily, being stopped by the heroes. "C'mon! Go go go!" Isami commanded, gesturing them to go through the exit. The boy let out a sigh of relief when he and the others made it through the exit. However, he knew that he wasn't done just yet, even if he wanted to run straight home. As he was about to turn around, however...

"...Gin?" Isami said, seeing the all too familiar boy hustling through the open streets. "Gin!" Isami called out, chasing after the boy as he hustles through some emergency crew members. Isami wondered where Gin was running off too, before noticing and remembering his arms. He could only imagine what Gin might be going through, not being able to help all that much. He felt his heart sank. As he made his way chasing Gin, he got near the emergency crew, who asked if he was OK. "Oh, I'm fine... I just wanna check up on my friend." Isami told the men, before trying to get Gin's attention again, waving his hands in the air. "GIIIIN!"

I can't believe that worked?! But now, how am I going to stop?! Aaron didn't expect for that to work as it did, not to mention there were other options that didn't involve using himself as a slingshot. Nevertheless, as Aaron collided with the girl, he immediately locked his arms tightly to ensure guaranteed capture. He could feel her squirm to get an arm out and yell back to her monster, however, he wasn't going to let her get away that easily. He proceeded to electrocute her midair to stop the squirming and screaming as he felt her entire body go limp in his arms. Now that one problem was solved, the landing needed to be taken care of since it will be more difficult with a dead weight in his possession. As he got closer to the stands as he descended, his tried to make use of levitation to help with him leveling out. However, as he proceeded to run along the ground to slow down, a dividing support wall came in to stop his momentum as he hit it with all the weight of the girl knocking the wind out of Aaron.

Taking a few seconds to gain his composure, he saw the aftermath of stealing the beast's girl, most of the stadium around the beast in flames. Aaron now had a guilty conscience form knowing that he was part of the cause of this destruction. Aaron shook the thought off, threw his captured villain over his shoulder, and ran through the halls to bring her to the closest authorities or heroes, as soon as he got out.

He got about 3 to 5 hallways away from where a majority people have escaped but would have to stop a couple of times to rest as the impact to the wall may have done more than bruise his body. Nothing was broken, but it was enough that it might be that a fracture has occurred somewhere on his person. He also didn't use enough electricity the first time to keep her under as he could feel parts of her gain control, so he Aaron had to continue shocking her to keep her in place. As Aaron got down to picked up Shiki, he saw from the corner of his eye 2 1-B classmates, namely Aina and Shin.

"Aina! And. . . Ninja Guy? Anyways, I need help getting out of the stadium because of this!" He pointed to Shiki and continued, "She was on top of the dragon-lizard thing and I was trying to back up Akira as he was fighting some Irish chick and I thought getting rid of the owner was the best choice of action and so I slingshotted myself to grab her and I succeeded only to getting her dragon mad and spewed fire out and I might be part of the cause for it but I got his owner and paralyzed her and now I am making my way out and I need some type of backup to get her out with no trouble whatsoever because an evil mask lady who took Double Dragon away is here and may come out of nowhere and take her back and this girl may be the pro's ticket to getting whoever is in charge of this attack and I am running out of juice to properly defend myself from an attack so I need help please!!" It was a lot to get out, but Aaron managed to get it out, even if it was clustered. He bent down and picked up Shiki and threw her over his shoulder, "So, let's go you guys!"

Terro's blood splattered across the floor and a bit on the wall as his villain kicked him across the head, Terro's body falling to the ground. His vision was blurry, but he felt the hand on his hair, and felt the pain of being yanked up by his hair. "That's why you're such a disappointment Terro. You should have already worked on it." Why... why was the villain right? If he was used to his quirk... then he'd be able to overcome this wall of a man in front of him... why was he...? A gust of wind rushing by distracted Terro from his thoughts.

"I was escorting citizens out of the exits when I heard a loud crash. I'm glad I found you in time Khikyu!" Was that... who he thought it was...? "Can you move? If you can, let me handle this! You need to seek shelter immediately! Find a friend, and take them with you!" Terro's eyes focused at last... seeing Tempest standing before him.

"S-sensei...," He muttered before coughing a bit, a little more blood splattering. He wanted to help... he wanted to take this guy down... but he knew in his condition, he'd only get in the way. "S-sensei... b-be careful... I dunno who this guy is... but... he's tough...," Tempest grit his teeth. as he turned up the gale forces.

"I can't get too crazy indoors... I still don't know who's left in here!" He looked to Terro again. "I don't know who this guy is either, but I'm sure I can take him down." Tempest nervously chuckled, as the man took ground shattering steps forward. Although he was slow about it, the man was still making progress towards Tempest.

"Ah. So the boy has another teacher? One just as foolish to challenge me, no doubt." The villain said, with a twisted smile.

Terro watched as the man approached, like a hungry animal trying to get to its prey. It really sent a chill down his spine. The young hero to be nodded to Tempest before walking off. His steps were unstable, like he would tip over at any moment. Still, he managed to push on, the desperation he felt forcing him to keep going. He got to the door, pulling himself around the corner before he took one last look at the battle. The last thing that Terro saw before he ran off was Tempest flashing him a thumbs up.

Now that the boy was out of the way, he cranked up the wind just enough to push the man back once again.

"How dare you do that to one who studies under me! You'll pay you scum!"

"His... Training... Incomplete." The man struggled to get out, as he dug his heels into the tiled floor.

Terro didn't know where he was going. He was completely disoriented from the attack. He just knew he had to get away, away to that villain. He wasn't helping anyone like this... he had to get stronger! The hallway was finally ending... was he outside? Did he go the right way? He panted as he placed his hand against the wall, before realizing... he was back in the arena grounds... the exact opposite of where he should be.

"Dammit," He muttered, wiping the blood away from his lips. Maybe he should... wait a minute. Squinting, he could make out Akira across the battlefield, completely knocked out. Someone must have hit him hard. He hobbled over, somehow quietly passing all the carnage and destruction around him before he knelt down by Akira. Terro lifted the head of the fallen hero and did something that his Grandfather did for him many times.

He began to gently slap on the side of Akira's face. "Hey, there are better places to take a nap then on the ground," He commented, fully channeling his grandfather. "If you don't get up, Imma spit on you, and I think we both don't want that,"

In a flash, her daughter appeared in front of Ino, using a makeshift shield of crystals to guard him arm and block her blade.  Then, thrusting her arm upward, she in turn sent Bloodstone's arm flying.

"What kind of mother would murder her daughter's friends right in front of her to make a point!?" Asuka rounded up four more crystals around her left arm.  Bloodstone merely brought her sword around to block the attack from the side. "After being ostracized by Quirked and Quirkless alike just because I inherited YOUR Quirk!?" She then fired the remaining five crystals, aimed roughly for the center of Bloodstone's body.   Seeing this, Bloodstone sent a multitude of crystals from behind her to protect her rib cage, much akin to what Asuka had done with her arm prior.  The crystals made a harsh grating sound as they came in contact with each other, and belted off in different directions, lodging themselves in the walls and floor.  "And now you want me to be hated and feared by the world just like you!?"  The crystals around Asuka began spinning in place furiously, not unlike the attack she'd performed against the raptors just earlier. "IS THAT THE FUTURE YOU WANTED FOR ME, VILLAIN!?The word made Bloodstone visibly shake with anger, as she gripped her sword tighter.  Asuka thrusted both of her arms forward, firing off the remaining ten crystals as they spun through the air.

Bloodstone sent out the remaining crystals she had through the air to meet Asuka's.  Only six.  Damn.  She drew her pistol the second she realized hers wouldn't be enough, shooting three of Asuka's crystals out of the air.  The last one that approached her came straight towards her face, as she had to move swiftly to make sure it didn't hit her square in the nose.  It instead grazed her cheek, leaving a small wound.  Blood started to pool from the injury, as it started to drip down her cheek.

"Look what you've done...to your own mother."  She said coldly, looking down on her daughter gasping for breath.  "This isn't the Asuka I raised."

"Good!"  Ino shouted from behind Asuka.  "If you had raised her, then she wouldn't be my best friend right now!"  She then placed herself beside Asuka.  Ino didn't look at her, but instead stared daggers into Bloodstone.  "And I'm sure she's all the better because you aren't her Mama!"  Her arm's could be seen visibly vibrating.  Bloodstone's eyes shook with hatred, as she drew her pistol once again.  The sight made Ino drop to the ground, placing her fists into it.  "THANK YOU FOR NOT RAISING ASUKA!"  The ground beneath Bloodstone shook, as she started to wobble and lose her balance.  She couldn't afford to shoot either...what if she harmed her beloved.  With a little more focus, Ino bit her tongue, sending more precise and volatile shock waves to very specific locations...Asuka's stones that had been lodged into the walls!  They began to rattle quite violently, and in a couple seconds, shattered apart and exploded into shards of pure crimson.  Ino then started to vibrate her entire body, as she placed herself over Asuka as a human shield to block the oncoming shrapnel.

"Why you-"  Bloodstone was interrupted, as she had to crouch down herself.  She tried to cover herself with as many of her remaining crystals as possible, but it didn't stop some of the shards from gashing her all across her body.  When the dust settled, Ino picked Asuka up off of the ground, and grabbed her hand.

"We need to leave, Asu!"  She said with a rather neutral expression.  However, Ino could see that Bloodstone had already gotten to her feet.  Her clothes were tattered, as more blood started to creep down her body.

"You aren't going anywhere with my daughter!  She's coming with me!"  Stones emerged from her biceps, more sharp than her previous rounded ones, as they started to spin in the air above her.  That's when a shout permeated from down further in the hallway.

"STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!"

As soon as the voice rung out, Bloodstone's crytals fell to the ground, lifeless.  There was only one person in this district capable of incapacitating her so quickly.  She turned around to meet the head of U.A.'s security face to face.  Her eyes cold and annoyed, she groaned.

"Hinata...good to see you again."

"That's Lady Law to you...Kokoro."  Lady Law said with crossed arms, as she strode down the hall to meet her former friend.

"GIIIIN!"

"Oh you've gotta be kidding me."  Gin groaned, as he turned behind him to see that snake kid slithering from behind him.  It looked like he was making pace, and would catch up to him any moment.  "Don't follow me you damn loser!"  He barked from behind.  However, any passing cloud would've probably distracted him from the barking.  It was probably useless to try and stop him from continuing to follow.  He sighed.  Sadly, it wasn't really any of the power houses that followed...instead he got the snake.  "Whatever Salami.  It's your funeral."  Whether Gin killed him, or that guy, it was still probably going to happen.  As they continued down the road, they made some rather strange twists and turns, until they made it to a small worn down looking home.  On the side was a rather large dome.  Gin's heart sank to his feet once he saw that the front door was already open.

"S-s-s-stay here snake boy...or I'll kill you."  Gin roared, as he walked up to the house.  As he entered the doorway, he could see a man with long blue hair sitting on the couch, watching highlights from the tournament.  The headlines for emergency news about all of the jail breaks flashed across the screen, but he seemed more intent on watching Gin's fight.  He then saw Gin's shadow, as he rose from the couch, revealing a rather sickly woman that had been hidden next to him.  She stared at the coffee table in front of the two, almost lifeless.

"Hey there sport!"  The man said with a smile.  "Man I haven't seen you since you were how old?  10?  Well Daddy's home now!"

Gin's eyes dilated in rage.

"Get...."  The words couldn't come out fast enough.  All of these years...they were all building up to this.  And now here he was...and Gin was strong now.

"GET AWAY FROM HER!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Nurse Neko was rather upset that Mike had left to group, but if he was so insistent on saving his friends, she couldn't stop him.  But so help her, if he used his quirk to fight some villains she would have a word with his parents!  All of them had made it through the hallways without much else trouble, and finally made it to a proper exit.  All of the emergency crew swiped some sweat off their brow with her arrival.

"Nurse Neko!  Over here!  Please!"  With all the commotion, she immediately focused on the cries of the injured.  She nodded, as she turned to Valerie.

"You need to get to safety!  and Quick!  There should be a shelter nearby, until things calm down.  I'm needed here."  She ran off towards the ambulances, as she flashed a peace sign to Valerie.  "Thanks for the escort."  She said with a stuck out tongue.  But if Valerie noticed, Casey was not behind her.

"Hey jerks, think fast!"

The ball bounced off of the walls in a fashion that would make it almost made catching it impossible.  However, the young girl's hair extended in an instant to catch the ball, and dissolve it within the gelatinous material.  However, she was too preoccupied with catching the ball to notice that the boy had slid in between both of them.  The older woman growled, as she barked at Mike.

"Come back here and look me in the eyes!  Can't you see true beauty when it's staring you in the face?!"

"He probably doesn't have a thing for older women."  The girl the placed a large portion of her hair over her shoulder, as she groomed it.  "However...he sees just my type, ehehehe...."  The girl's hair extended to the floor, where it seemed to glide across the ground.  "I'll go kill him!  Be right back!"

"Wait!"  The older woman said reaching out for the younger one.  "We're a tag team right now!  We're supposed to grab the nurse!!!!  I'm useless without you!!!! WE MAKE A BEAUTIFUL PAIR!"  She said, as she chased after the slime haired girl.  From behind Mike, the girl was making pace with him.

"I won't get in too much trouble!  That cat isn't worth the hassle!  But they'll be happy if I kill the guy who won the whole thing!"  The girl's hair shot out from behind her, as it reached out towards Mike.

The flames were still coming, as Suna struggled to keep hold of the shield, making sure no one else here would be hurt under his supervision.  That's when he felt a tap on his shoulder.  Suna turned over to see Madam Mic, with her nervous smile.  Suna's eyes widened, as some sand made it's way into his ears.  Nodding, Madam Mic took in a deep breath.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"  She screamed at the top of her lungs, sending out a condensed shock wave of noise in front of her.  The sound waves ruptured through Suna's sand shield in an instant, and pierced through the flames.  Where the sound went, the fire was expunged, until it made it's way up to Rex's face, where it shut his jaw with such extreme force that it made his head snap back.  Everyone in the vicinity had to close their ears, as the sound could be felt all throughout their body.  The ground beneath Madam Mic had also started to rupture due to the force of her voice alone.

"THAT DAME SURE HAS A MOUTH ON HER!  GAHAHA-"  Wendigo laughed, covering his own ears.  Mako moved in to get in another solid hit on Wendigo, with only hand on his ear hole while the other started to bleed.  The punch sent Wendigo's arms up and away from his ears.  Being so close to Madam Mic, and his own beast like hearing, it was enough for him to howl in pain.

"Yer not really gonna fight me after what I did to Tomoaki, are 'ye?" Hadley was stretching her arms to the sides, working out the kinks in her wrists she had gained from punching Akira's barrier as many times as she had. "Anyone who fights us here is a hero. Any hero gets purged. I suggest 'ya get-"

She paused, seeing Sayuri wasn't listening to her, was fiddling with her speech device. Right, she reminded herself, as she caught sight of the blood dripping from Sayuri's dog ears. She can't bloody hear ye, Hadley. Reminded of the loud noise that had done that, Hadley looked back over towards Rex, seeing that he was going berserk against the heroes. Despite her warning, Shiki wasn't atop him.

"God DAMN it," she muttered, looking around and seeing no sign of the girl. She debated inwardly how useful Rex was when under control versus when he was berserk. Did it really matter? She couldn't see Shiki, or Aaron, for that matter. She couldn't return Shiki to Rex if she didn't know where she was.

Sayuri's speech device then spoke. Hadley listened silently, eyes level with Sayuri's own, not reacting to the device going out, waiting until Sayuri had finished her primitive signing. She closed her eyes, sighing deeply as she started striding towards Sayuri slowly.

"I wouldn't bother with him," she called over her shoulder as she caught sight of Terro out of the corner of her eye, kneeling over Akira. "He made the mistake of gettin' in tha way of mah fist." She stood directly in front of Sayuri, looking down at her with a scowl, arms by her side. "You two should take him. Get tha' hell away from here 'fore I hafta put you in it's way as well." She mouthed her words clearly, wanting Sayuri to be able to lip-read as much of it as possible.

As soon as she finished talking the gauntlet came up, moving forward for a swift, powerful, straight on punch.

"I mean it," she said softly to Sayuri, the arm that had gone over Sayuri's shoulder quivering as the gauntlet pressed into the spiderweb of thick cracks in the large slab of rubble it's wielder had just created. "Don't hurt yer'selves if 'ye don't wanna be like these heroes."

"Ya hear me, Rocky Road?" she called over to Terro, turning to shout at him as she stalked away from Sayuri. The slab crumbled slowly as she walked away, splitting as it fell into pieces on the ground. "Get outta here... An' take Tomoaki with ya, fer all I care. Otherwise 'ye won't leave at all."

She saw Madam Mic had joined the fight, and instinctively shrugged her shoulders to raise the headphones over her head.

Even through the headphones she heard it, gritting her teeth even as they rung inside her head. "Get it bloody TOGETHER, Wendigo!" she hollered through the last throes of the scream, ears ringing, not sure if he could even hear her. Or if he was listening. "Fuckin' 'ell, I'm the only one 'a these clowns with a good track record 'fer this damn thing," she groused, returning her attention to Sayuri and Terro.

She raised her arms, gauntlets ready, eyes on Terro as she took a stance directly between the two Hero course members, but keeping her eyes flicking down occasionally. Down at the ground she was standing on. She knew what he could do with his Quirk. And she would be ready if she had to, she thought grimly.

"Look what you've done...to your own mother. This isn't the Asuka I raised."

"Good! If you had raised her, then she wouldn't be my best friend right now! And I'm sure she's all the better because you aren't her Mama! THANK YOU FOR NOT RAISING ASUKA!" Ino then did something interesting. She sent shockwaves into Asuka's crystals that had been stuck into the walls, causing them to shatter! She then began vibrating her whole body, before tackling Asuka to the ground and using herself as a human shield.

"We need to leave, Asu!"

Asuka nodded, as she was pulled up off the ground by Ino. She wouldn't be able to generate much more crystals, and there was no telling what else Bloodstone had up her sleeves. Not to mention she was armed with real weapons. Staying would be stupid.

"You aren't going anywhere with my daughter! She's coming with me!"

Asuka turned to flee, putting up what few crystals she had left between herself and Bloodstone, only for them to then fall lifelessly to the floor. Why did they fall? Because of a shout coming from down the hallway. Asuka recognized that voice. She recognized it on the first day of school, and when she'd trained for the tournament. Lady Law had arrived!

"Hinata...good to see you again."

"That's Lady Law to you...Kokoro."

But... Lady Law was unarmed? Looking at the two side-by-side, it seemed pretty clear that in a fight without Quirks, Bloodstone would be the winner, right? She had not only a sword, but a gun as well. Running away seemed like the best idea at first, but the more she thought about it... was it? If I leave, Mama might get more aggressive in her fight, since it puts pressure on her to hurry up and catch me. I'd put Lady Law in more danger like that, and she's already in plenty as it is, right? But if I don't, I'd endanger Ino. Even if I told them both to leave, there's no way I can fight her on my own. There has to be a right course of action that puts everyone at minimal risk...

There was only one thing Asuka could think of. It wasn't what she wanted by any means, but anything else felt like a scenario doomed to fail. "I'm sorry, Ino. If I leave, it will put Lady Law in more danger. You get out of here. I'll catch up with you soon. I promise."

You two should take him. Get tha' hell away from here 'fore I hafta put you in it's way as well.

Sayuri still couldn't hear her, but Hadley was putting extra effort into how she mouthed the words. Letting her read lips? That was pretty smart. Hadley then shot her arm forward in a quick punch. Sayuri still ducked out of the way, but after doing so, realized the punch was aimed just above her shoulder; not directly at her. A truce?

I mean it. Don't hurt yer'selves if 'ye don't wanna be like these heroes.

Sayuri paused, surprised by this sudden turn of events. She nodded. She didn't have to fight, at least. After pointing more insistently at the nearest pile of rubble, Sayuri started down the stands, toward Akira. He'd taken some pretty nasty hits to the head during his "fight" with Hadley. Hopefully he'd be alright. She didn't especially care for his mental health, but his Quirk interested her, and it would be a shame to see it get crippled after he'd been one of the top fighters of a tournament just earlier that day.

Once she was on the stage area, standing with Akira and Terro, she nudged the latter with her arm. It's pretty obvious, but his leg's busted, she signed. Once he's awake, we'll probably have to carry him. My ears got blown out by that dinosaur, so don't bother speaking. I won't hear you. With that, Sayuri squatted down, and in a rougher manner than Terro, gave Akira a quick slap against the face. She'd considered putting a bit of extra claw behind it to lightly cut his face as well, but he'd taken enough blows to the head already. Some slapping was fine, though.

Class 1-B: Sayaka, Kaito

iplp3Um.pngoWQytNV.jpg

"Ta.. Ta-daaaaa..." Sayaka groaned. Her legs were shaking, she was gasping for air, and not long after Kaito had brought Ichiro to a spot outside the stadium, the spider girl's legs gave in entirely, prompting her to collapse onto the floor. Raising up a hand and giving the boys a thumbs-up, she said "One industrial-sized spider web slingshot, on rush order. My everything hurts..."

"Is this thing actually safe?"

"I'm a hero course student, Kaito, not a civil engineer. It won't snap at least."

"Wait...so your telling me you don't even know how safe this is?!" Ichiro exclaimed, gulping severely.

"It won't break... and it probably won't kill you." Sayaka had spent the last couple of minutes darting around the stadium's perimeter, leaving a constant and distinctly thick web wherever she'd walked around. The result? One massive slingshot, big enough to shoot Ichiro up to that dinosaur's face if it got pulled back far enough. Which was where Kaito came into the picture. Shuffling into the shade of the nearest tree, Sayaka said "Tell him about your Quirk, Kaito."

"Oh uh... sure."

"And get a big rag or something to stick to that web! If he's on it directly and doesn't break free with the speed from the launch, his momentum will snap him in half like a twig!"

"Got it." As he removed and subsequently started on tearing his shirt in half, Kaito explained "My Quirk is called Return. It lets me pull the last thing I touched back to me. It works on people too." Placing the torn shirt against the web slingshot, Kaito gestured toward it and said "There you go. Try not to touch the webbing if you can help it. Oh, and don't worry about the shirt. I've got more just like it back home." With that, Kaito gave Ichiro's hand a tap, then moved behind the slingshot. "Whenever you're ready."

How did I get talked into coming all the way our here like this? Ichiro thought, not believing how he was following Sayaka and Kaito like this. At the same time, however, he was impressed at the efficiency of the spider-girl in general when making this slingshot.

"Is this thing actually safe?"

"I'm a hero course student, Kaito, not a civil engineer. It won't snap at least."

This caused some concern for Ichiro, feeling himself gulping severely. "Wait...so you're telling me you don't even know how safe this is?!" He wasn't too thrilled about this anymore...not like he was already.

"It won't break... and it probably won't kill you. Tell him about your Quirk, Kaito."

That was a good point, at this moment, he wasn't even sure what Kaito did as far as his Quirk. He just assumed that it would be something that could possibly work.

"Got it. My Quirk is called Return. It lets me pull the last thing I touched back to me. It works on people too. There you go. Try not to touch the webbing if you can help it. Oh, and don't worry about the shirt. I've got more just like it back home. Whenever you're ready."

Ichiro put his back against the cloth on the slingshot, looking over and above where it was aimed and was feeling pretty sick to his stomach. The whole situation right now wasn't sitting well with him right now. To be honest, it was giving him flashbacks of the Kashyyyk Disctrict, the day him and the rest of 1-A met those three...well, two at this moment, cause the gray guy wasn't there. Nevertheless, it still gave him a sickening feeling to him.

"...guys...I don't know if this'll work."

"If it doesn't, at least it won't be your problem anymore," Sayaka called out from the shade of her tree. Oh yeah, that was comforting to hear.

"It'll work," Kaito added. "You've got the easy job. Just enjoy the ride then sock that big guy in the face. We'll handle your exit, so don't worry about falling."

Ichiro looked at Kaito when he said this, nodding slowly. They'd handle his exit? Well if that was the case, maybe things might actually go smoothly. Though at the same time, he might be down two arms after this... "....Alright. I...I guess wish me luck then...and pray I don't break my other hand too."

"Here goes nothing then." Taking a few more steps back, Kaito performed a peculiar hand gesture and continuing further backwards.

Ichiro felt himself being pulled back, most likely by Kaito's Return. It was a bit of an odd feeling to it, but nevertheless, he was pulled back and felt the webbing growing tighter. "O-Okay...that was...a little weird...okay." he chuckled, though obviously nervous. With a deep breath, he closes his eyes, trying to think back on the training with Omega Star.

"When I was training, I usually focused on the center of my palm...start at a low output and you should be fine."

Center of the palm... he thought, exhaling again as he clenched his unbroken fist. Low output...just think about the fight against Mike. Use only 5%...no...not against something like that. 40% maybe...really hope I don't break my arm... Finally, he felt himself being pulled back enough into the slingshot. One final inhale and exhale, and Ichiro looked at Kaito. "...go for it, Kaito."

Once Ichiro had been pulled back far enough, Kaito made his move. Getting his hands into just the right position, Kaito first placed a hand against his shorts. At that moment, Ichiro - no longer being pulled back by Return - felt himself launching forward. Just as the launch started, however, he felt Kaito's hand come up from behind, landing square as a slap on the cheek. "Good luck up there, man!" he heard Kaito shout as he rocketed forward.

"HOLY SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII-"

-BGM-

Ichiro found himself launched into the air, surprised that this actually worked. Nevertheless, he saw before him the T-Rex and how pissed off it was. He tightened his fist and reeled it back, letting out a loud yell. His adrenaline was definitely kicking in again because of this rush...and the fact that he was being launched towards a giant T-Rex? Yeah, that would definitely help with that.

Right now he was soaring over the heroes and villains, most likely in a position where they couldn't do much of anything but right now...that didn't care...all that matter was the dinosaur.

Alright...40%...just keep it at 40%!!!!! Ichiro thought, getting right to the side of the T-Rex's face. "SKY....PARTER....PUNCH!!!!" he shouted, having his fist make contact with the creature's face and he felt his arm hurting A LOT, but the upside it wasn't broken. He watched as the T-Rex was pushed over by the punch, pretty much knocked out in the process. Ichiro's eyes followed the dinosaur beginning to fall over on the ground.

I-I did it....I DID IT!! Ichiro thought, with a huge smile on his face...only to now feel that there was a force pulling him away from the dinosaur. Huh? ...right, Kaito's Quirk...explains why he slapped me. Still...now that should be one less thing the heroes have to worry about.

Class B Squad ~ Shin and Aina

"Aina! And. . . Ninja Guy? Anyways, I need help getting out of the stadium because of this! She was on top of the dragon-lizard thing and I was trying to back up Akira as he was fighting some Irish chick and I thought getting rid of the owner was the best choice of action and so I slingshotted myself to grab her and I succeeded only to getting her dragon mad and spewed fire out and I might be part of the cause for it but I got his owner and paralyzed her and now I am making my way out and I need some type of backup to get her out with no trouble whatsoever because an evil mask lady who took Double Dragon away is here and may come out of nowhere and take her back and this girl may be the pro's ticket to getting whoever is in charge of this attack and I am running out of juice to properly defend myself from an attack so I need help please!! So, let's go you guys!"

"Ninja guy...?" Shin grumbled, shaking his head.

"Relax Shin." Aina sighed, before looking over at Shiki then back to Aaron. "Well, short-circuit, that is pretty awesome. As for back-up, me and Shin here definitely have you covered."

"Good, thanks you guys! I have no idea where the rest of my class is, so thanks. Also, I hope your class is okay too." As Aaron started to make his way towards the exit, he felt Shiki move again, so the much needed electrical therapy came on and stopped her. "No moving yet until I get you to the authorities Lizard Girl!!"

"To be honest, that's probably the best idea." Aina nodded, seeing Shiki getting a bit of electrical therapy. "We'll escort you both and then try to continue the evacuation."

Shin nodded, putting his hands together, exhaling as Happiness and Anger emerged from behind him. "Alright. We'll be the perimeter around the battery here and Aina will take point." he said, as Happiness gave a thumbs up and Anger simply rolled his eyes and shrugged his shoulders.

Shin brought up the rear of this formation, with Happiness on Aaron's right and Anger on his left and that left Aina in the front. With not another word, the five of them made their way down the stairs in order to escort this villain to the authorities. Of course, Shin knew this was a bad idea given they didn't have their Hero Licenses yet...but escorting a 1-A student who did it, prooooobably wouldn't be accomplices to this...right?

"You're awesome, and you got this!"

"Of course, who the hell do you think I am?" Valerie called back to Mike as the boy got out of sight.

She was relieved, though admittedly anxious, to find that they had made it to an exit without much trouble. She wanted the nurse safe and this was the safest she could be. There were many people she could help from this place...but Valerie felt like she wasn't DOING anything. And the thought drove her wild with frustration. She had to go back and do something. Sitting around here like this....it just felt wrong. She had to keep going. This wasn't nearly enough.

Neko's gratitude was welcome, and somewhat embarrassing, to Valerie but to her it was just the bare minimum.

"Casey, sorry, I need to go back i..." She looked around. Where had he gone? He was ahead of her at first and, yes, she did get a bit ahead but he couldn't have fallen that far behind could he? She felt guilt in the pit of her stomach then as she remembered. He often used his Quirk to get around. He might not have been as adapt at running as she and Neko were. She should've been paying attention and now he was gone! She hadn't even managed to get them both to safety.

She started to panic for a moment but slapped her hands over her cheeks. No, no panicking, she just had to find Casey and get him back here.

"I swear if anyone touched him I'll break their arms..." she muttered as she went to find her classmate.

Gin seemed distressed, Isami thought. The snake boy frowned and, without saying anything, continued to follow his classmate. Even if Gin didn't seem the most receptive to him, Isami still needed to make sure his classmate was ok. As the two walked down the streets, making odd twists and turns, they eventually stopped by a home that had seen better days.

"S-s-s-stay here snake boy...or I'll kill you." Gin roared at Isami, causing him to flinch a bit. He was still confused as to what exactly was going on, but he wasn't about to let the boy go in by himself. Trailing a bit farther behind, Isami couldn't quite look inside the home completely, only really being able to see the light coming off of what he could only assume was a television. He could, however, hear everything that was going on.

Isami's eyes widened as he heard the words spoken between Gin and the male voice from inside the house. He was still not quite sure what was going on, but whatever it was it didn't seem like it was going to be resolved peacefully. Could Gin handle whatever he was doing with his arms being in the state that they were in?

Isami decided to take the more stealthy option, transforming into a normal sized snake, quietly slithering next to the door. He waited to see what would happen before making his move.

Top Three

"Ya hear me, Rocky Road? Get outta here... An' take Tomoaki with ya, fer all I care. Otherwise 'ye won't leave at all." Terro looked from slapping Akira, his ears only picking up the tail end of Hadley's conversation with Sayuri. Wow, she was calm despite everything that was going on, and coordinating with Sayuri? Man, why wasn't she in class 1-A?

"Oh, thanks for the concern, but I'll be fine. We really gotta get the people out, ya know? So you two teaming up to dig through the rubble? That's cool. If you see my grandpa, tell him I'm alright and I escaped from the angry heavy man," Terro answered, grinning widely as he waved to the two. “Good luck you two!”

Akira slowly blinked his eyes open, struggling slightly to break the dried blood that had caked them shut. Above him crouched Terro, which was confusing at the very least, because he was pretty sure he could remember throwing him out of the bath of chaos that was the center of the arena, along with Mike. “You dumbass, didn't I specifically say to get out of here?” Looking back and forth wearily, Akira took stock of the situation, to see Hadley standing before them. “Terro! Hadley is an enemy! Contain her, and don't let her escape!”

Terro blinked, confusion etched on his face. She was an enemy? Was this a joke? No… no… Akira wasn't the kind of person to even talk to him, let alone joke. When and why did that happened? Oh no… it couldn't be…

“Did Gin threaten her so badly she became a bad guy?” He asked. He looked over to Hadley and sighed. “I… don't have much left in me but…” he held up his hand, pointing upwards. A dome began to form around Hadley, although it was definitely slower than usual, and Terro began to wobble on his feet.

At the edge of the battlefield, Akira could see the giant monster fall to the ground, seemingly hit by something with an incredible amount of power behind it. It landed in a position to block off the hallway, but cannot before a glint of green light was able to slip underneath it. Mike landed beside the group, stumbling a bit but otherwise seemingly unharmed. “There’s something else,” Mike said, pausing to catch his breath. “A bunch of villains are trying to get Nurse Neko, like, captured alive or something. She’s with Valerie and… some angry guy, I think he’s from 1-B. Anyways, two villains were going after them, and I tripped them up a bit on my way here, but I don’t know if that’s all that’s going for them.” Mike paused and looked around the battlefield and his eyes widened as he saw the entrance he had just used, now blocked by the collapsed form of Rex. “Did someone take down the freaking T-Rex?!!”

Out of the corner of his eye, Akira noticed Madam Mic approaching Suna, and realized what was about to happen, barely in time. Squeezing his left hand into a fist, a pair of hard-light earmuffs appeared on the heads of each of the tournament's top three and Sayuri. Though his ears were protected from the damage his teacher's quirk would have caused, he could still feel the sound reverberating through his entire body. By comparison, the roar from the giant monster may as well have been a whisper. Just in case, Akira maintained the hearing protection on the four for a few seconds after the scream stopped, before the constructs dissolved into thin air.

Lifting his head slightly, Akira looked around as best he could, but visibility was even worse now than before, dust clouds concealing most everything from view. He quietly sighed to himself, before looking up at the other two. “Despite the fact that you two shouldn't be here in the first place, I think you are exactly the people I need right now.” Averting his gaze, Akira spoke more quietly, “I sent Asuka into the building to try to get her out of harm's way, but,” slightly nervous to explain the situation, Akira let a telling pause hang in the air for a few seconds, “I have reason to believe that... a high-profile villain is in pursuit of her. The vibrating girl is with her, but I don't think that will be nearly enough to keep her safe.”

Pushing himself up into a sitting position, Akira's pain was visible across every one of his movements. “Terro, I need you to find them. I know it's a pretty tough ask, but… the other girl with Asuka is always vibrating, and shaking the ground beneath her in turn, so I'm pretty sure your quirk could track down exactly where she is.” Pausing to make sure Terro understood what he had to do, Akira tentatively continued, “you've been around her enough to recognize the frequencies she vibrates at, so… push your awareness out as far as you can, try to cover the whole stadium, and lock onto that feeling. I don't think there is anyone else who could track them down right now, we need you to find them.”

At first, Terro was hesitant to do it. He didn't know if he had the strength to stand, let alone use his quirk again… but… it was like back then at Kashyyyk, wasn't it? He just had to see if he could feel her. He had to do this… to help his classmates.

Falling to a knee, Terro took a deep breath and focused, the ground around his hand cracking as he sent out a wave of his quirk. Maybe it was too much for sensing…? He wasn't sure yet. He could feel the people running away from the area, a really big and heavy thing thrashing about… And… there! He stood up, pointing in a direction.

“Over there!” He said. “Ino's---,” he then paused, realizing something. “W-wait… her vibrations stopped….,”

Shooting Star

Akira's eyebrows shot up. For the vibrating girl - Ino - to disappear so suddenly was a bad sign. Had Bloodstone already knocked her out, or worse? Akira couldn't allow himself to get distracted by thinking of how badly things may be going in there, trying to keep himself all the way there with his current injuries was difficult enough on its own. “Mike,” his voice was serious, devoid of its typical air of superiority, “I can't get to them in my current condition, and even if I could, I wouldn't be of any help.” With Terro’s assistance, he pulled himself up to his feet, his arm over Terro's shoulders for support. “But you can. You're the fastest of all of us, and I think with my assistance, that move you used to win the tournament can get you all the way there.”

Mike nodded, his face pale and lips tight. Akira laboriously rose his free hand in the direction Terro had pointed. A huge cannon appeared before the three, with a barrel at least ten meters long and a wide enough bore to fit a person. The construct's surface was already developing cracks and shedding glowing dust. “I can't hold this up long, and we only have one shot at this.” At the base of the barrel, a small hatch opened, just large enough for Mike to fit through. On each jet on Mike's costume, a glowing nozzle flickered on, so that they would all point directly behind him when he took a diving position. The expanded jets gave Mike an appearance more resembling a booster rocket than a person, but Akira was aiming purely for function at this point. “Hard Light: Greenshift 『Mach Mode』”

Mike swallowed and climbed into the cannon, tensing up as the hatch closed behind him. There was a knocking on the tube beside him and a hole opened up to reveal Akira.

“You know who’s going to be there on the other side, don't you?” Akira said.

Mike thought for a moment, and slowly the realization dawned on him and his expression darkened. “Yeah, I think I do,” he muttered back.

“Go ahead and save them, Mike!” Terro called out. “I’ll make sure Akira gets out of here okay after you’ve launched!”

Akira stared back at Mike for a few seconds, before nodding solemnly. “You said you were the kind of hero to fight back when you were scared. Let's see it.” The window between the two closed again, as Akira focused toward their target. Though it seemed to just be the wall, Terro's radar had confirmed it was where he needed to aim. “L-minus Five…” he took a deep breath, hoping against hope that Mike would be enough to turn the tables, “Four…”

“One!” Before Akira was fully prepared, Mike expedited the countdown, firing himself from the cannon with a huge burst of force. The hard light augmentations, combined with the tight-bored barrel, directed all of the force from his quirk backward. Behind him, the cannon shattered to dust, creating a cloud of glowing dust that enveloped the small group of students in the area. "Horizon Series! Pulsar Drill Break!!!" As he flew forward, Mike used repeated boosts to push himself into a tight spin, before he impacted with the wall ahead of him. Tearing through the building like it was nothing, Mike carved a straight line through each wall, until he reached the spot where his target was located. With several microadjustments using his quirk, Mike managed to right himself before landing in a half-crouched position between Asuka and Bloodstone. Though he was initially concealed by the hard light, the constructs shattered and disappeared from his back, revealing his own red costume.

"I'm sorry, Ino. If I leave, it will put Lady Law in more danger. You get out of here. I'll catch up with you soon. I promise."

"You think I'm just gonna leave you here with that monster?!"  Ino looked at Asuka, dumbfounded.  "Lady Law is a pro!  She wouldn't have used her Quirk if she didn't think she could take your mom out!"  Although, staring down the situation was tying her stomach in a knot.  Now that the adrenaline was starting to wear off, she could actually feel her knees shaking.  "Asuka...please..."  She said, her voice just as shaky as her knees.  Just then, Mike shattered through the wall like some kind of bullet, golden light shimmering off of his costume.  Everyone's eyes immediately diverted to him.  Bloodstone drew her pistol, and pointed it towards the boy.  He wasn't much more than Asuka's age, prompting Bloodstone to smirk.  However, the boy's Quirk was rather impressive.

"Ah...the boy who won it all.  A friend of my daughter's, I presume."

While Bloodstone's attention was drawn from her, Lady Law made her move, busting out a pair of large handcuffs.  With her swiftness, Lady Law was able to place one cuff around Bloodstone's wrist, and her own.  Once the click, and the pain, went off, Bloodstone moved her head back towards her old friend.  The hand that held her sword was now inconvenienced.

"Sneaky." She growled, as she threw her elbow up to try and hit Lady Law.  In turn, Lady Law slid past Bloodstone's attack, as she drilled her knee into the villain's ribs, pushing her back.  Lady Law then reeled her cuffed arm back to bring Bloodstone back towards her, as she drilled a punch into Bloodstone's cheek.  Asuka's mother's face shot out to the side, as she spit up some blood with a smile.  With a pivot, Lady Law turned around to swing her wrist over her head, tucking her leg under Bloodstone's body, and lifting her leg from underneath her, slamming her to the ground with an audible gasp from Bloodstone's mouth.

"It's over, Kokoro!"  Lady Law barked down to her pinned opponent.  "You can't run away from me anymore."

"I was never running away."  Bloodstone said, turning her head so that one eye was able to see Lady Law.  "I was running towards a brighter future.  A future without fear.  A future of understanding."  There was a brief silence in the air between the two.  "I was hoping my best friend could've seen that."  Bloodstone watched as she could see a tear drop down Lady Law's cheek.

"But to get to that future...you were going to kill so many.  Kokoro that's not what U.A. taught us."

"U.A. fed us lies, Hinata!"  She yelled into the dirt.  "To protect a grateful people?!  Yeah right!  If it were up to all of them, there wouldn't be any quirks!  There wouldn't be any of us!"

"Th-that's not true!"  Ino yelled.

"And what do you know, little girl!?"

The sentiment shot a shock through Ino's system.  She had remembered the mobs in the streets after the Kashykkk incident.  How they frightened her by shouting such insane things.  Was it wrong for Ino to think about things like that.

"I know...that a Hero does what's right...not for fame...or money...but because their heart tells them to."  She could hear Bloodstone laughing in the distance.

"How naive.  Face it, girl!  You live in the real world!"

"Stop it!"  Lady Law said, shoving Bloodstone's head harder into the floor.  "Your recruiting drivel won't work on my students!"

"I'm sorry Hinata."  Bloodstone's demeanor changed to a melancholic tone.  "I was afraid.  And you weren't there to help me."  Then her tone sharpened.  "But we've been monologuing for quite some time now."  A sharp pain entered Lady Law's throat in an instant.  It felt like her throat was tearing apart.  Lady Law fell over, gasping as she held her neck.  Was she chocking to death?  In her panic, Bloodstone was able to get off of the ground, and smash her cuff with a crystal.  She loomed over Lady Law with lifeless eyes.  "Hinata, I've shredded your voice box.  If I wasn't going to let my daughter ruin my plans, what makes you think I'd let you?"  Hinata looked to Bloodstone with tears in her eyes.  Ino looked on in horror at the display.  She hadn't even realized that her Quirk had come back to her with this scene.  "And now, 'Lady Law'...you're just like the rest of those dogs."  She then turned to the other students, and placed a mask over her face.  "Mission completed."  She whispered to no one in particular.  "Asuka...text Mama later, okay?"  And in an instant, the Mask seemed to absorb Bloodstone into it, making her vanish in an instant, as the mask fell to the floor.

"Look."  Gin's dad said, approaching him.  "I know I haven't been home for quite some time now...but we can go back to being a family again!"  He pulled out three folders from on the couch and smiled.  "Take a look here!  I've got entirely new identities for all three of us!  We can go anywhere in the world now!  I was thinking Australia...or maybe America...but they have some pretty top knotch heroes over there...that Creed family might prove to be some tough competition, but I think the Otoma's got em beat!  Or should I say the Ryoukuchas!"

Gins stepped back, baring his teeth.

"Hell no, old man.  I'm not going anywhere with you."  His face turned from rage, to nervous anger.  "As a matter of fact, I'm gonna turn you back in."

"Oh come on pal!  Look, your mom wants to go!  Honey, tell him!"

The cold and lifeless stare of the woman turned to pure joy, as she looked to Gin with a smile.  He hadn't seen her smile in quite some time, but this definitely wasn't the same smile he was familiar with.  It was some sort of sick facade of happiness that coated her lips.

"Gin, honey, look who's home!  It's your Papa!  He's gonna take good care of us again."

The words punched Gin hard enough in the gut to almost make him puke.  He turned angry again.

"What did you do to her?"  He roared.  "WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY MOTHER!"  His arms unsheathed themselves from their slings, as they were thrown behind him.  He couldn't feel the pain, only intense hatred coursing through his veins.  "DID YOU DRUG HER!?"

"Well...she just seemed so unhappy to see me.  I thought she might need a littl-"

"MICRO-PISTON!"  Gin screamed, shooting multiple invisible waves of air into his father's gut, and sending him flying across the room.  He crashed through a door and into some sort of closet.  Gin wheezed, as with that attack, he could feel all of his energy drain out of him.  That X-Caliber really had done more of a number on him than he had thought.  He could then see his dad drag himself out of the closet, as he laughed.

"Man Gin!  You can really feel that more in real life than you can on the T.V.!  You sure are ruthless!"  Gin's dad's eyes started to glow orange, as a radiating sphere of orange energy started to swirl around his hands.  "Just like your papa!"  He said, as he rushed towards Gin with a smile.

The fire had finally died down.  Suna took the chance to peek through a hole in his sand to realize that someone had knocked out the giant dinosaur, as it started to fall towards the ground.

"Dammit!  It's falling!"  What if there were civilians who were in the way...who were about to be smashed even though they had made it out of danger.  His sand would be fast enough to catch it, but he might not have enough time to separate those who got caught up in his sand.  It would either be gambling that there wouldn't be many casualties, or the exact opposite.  His decision had to be swift!  It had to be now!  However, he could see something drop in from out of the sky, making a sonic boom of sorts as it descended.  From the heavens, Suna could hear a scream that made him almost want to frown.

"Lord D. have mercy on your soul, creature!"  The hero said, as he swooped in from underneath Rex's side to catch the falling dinosaur.  He easily seemed to do so, as he was also able to fly whilst holding the monster above his head.  The scrambling citizens below them cheered as they continue to run towards the safety crews.  In a poof of smoke, the dinosaur disappeared, and a smaller, albeit rather large, reptile fell from the creatures original center.  Lord D hovered in the air to catch the large lizard, whose tongue held idly out of his mouth.  Scoping the scene some more, he could see a young teen floating in the air back to a group of others.  "Too young for a hero's license.  I'll be sure they are reprimanded."  Lord D. made sure to deliver the reptile to the proper authorities, who in turn looked to each other in disbelief.  "I'll leave this monster to you, highly regarded workers!"  He roared, before taking off again, and diving into the stadium.  The quaking gained Wendigo's attention, as it reminded him of a certain someone else's entrance.

"What's he doing here!?  Doesn't the number two hero got something else better to do than pick on a guy like me?!"  Wendigo shouted, as Mako delivered a strong hook into his side.  "Not that you ain't doin' a bad job, sharky!  GAHAAHAH!"

Lord D. made his way quickly to Suna before slapping him on the shoulder.

"I made my way as quickly as possible, Anubis."

"It's sandstorm no-"

"No time!  You need to gather your students and leave.  I'll get this situation under control in no time at all."  Lord D. unfurled his wings, creating a strong gust that shot in Wendigo's direction.  It knocked him back far enough for Glory to realize that the invisible doppelganger was dragged along to the same location.  "You too, Grimjaw.  Grab them and leave!"

"Thanks, Drak."  Suna said, smirking.

"IT IS LORD D.!"  He roared, rushing over to Wendigo.

"Aw cripes."  Wendigo sighed.

If Valerie could hear, a faint echo could be heard coming down a certain hallway.

"Fix."  Was the only word she'd be able to make out.  If she ran towards the noise, she would see someone hovering over Casey's unconscious body.  "D-d-d-don't worry.  I'll fix you!  I can fix this.  I'll fix you.  I'll fix you.  I'll fix you."

Seeing Akira and Terro hobble their way out of the arena and towards the exits, Erica ran up to them in a panic.

"You two are that wannabe villains friends right?  Well-well-well he ran off really quick after seeing something on his phone and I think he's going to do something stupid and he's trying to do it all alone and I think he needs help and I think we should help him but I don't think I could do it all by myself because it seemed pretty serious and If I followed him he might get mad and try to kill me!  After all, you know his temper!  Awful, Awful, Explosively Awful!  You know!  You know!  His phone has a return if found address, and I was thinking we should go find him!  But Akira looks pretty banged up...maybe we should go see Nurse Neko first!  Of course, you don't have to go!  Their might be a fight going on, and I don't wanna get in trouble with the law.  Confused, Confused, utterly confused!"  Her rambling was going on for so long she was shaking.

"I don't know what to do."  She then said sadly.

Goutetsu sighed to himself as he looked over the mountain of rubble he was looking through. He couldn't see anyone else that needed help, not counting the people with injuries that he happened to find. He had sat them in seats, and he was desperately trying to get a hero's attention to help him move these people. Two problems with this plan however was that the heroes were occupied with the villains, so the heroes weren't heeding his call, and the other was that raptors saw an old man and a group of injured people as easy prey. However, Goutetsu had the second part covered.

Any time a raptor would come to attack, the old man would slam a large piece of rubble over their heads before tossing the creature back into the center of the stadium. So far it was working, but if the raptors came in pairs, he wasn't too sure what he'd do. For now, all he could do is keep holding out for a hero.

Terro watched as Mike soared through the air, crushing the wall ahead of him. It was all up to the Canadian now... looking up, he saw that a new hero had arrived, taking care of Wendigo... it seemed most everything was under control. Now all that was left was getting himself and Akira out of here. He gently held on to Akira as he walked to an exit, however, it seemed fate had other plans. That girl that Gin was trying to start a relationship with ran up to them in a panic.

Confused, Confused, utterly confused!"  Her rambling was going on for so long she was shaking. "I don't know what to do."  She then said sadly.

Terro listened to her ramble before gently setting Akira on the ground and whipping off his gi top. He then grabbed Akira, slowly and carefully placing him on his back before tying him down with his gi top. Now he could move faster without leaving Akira behind.

"Alright, lead the way," was all Terro said.

Mike

Layer after layer of cement and infrastructure, Mike had managed to crack through the arena's floor, through its walls, and burst onto the scene into a half-crouched position. It took him a second to remember to breath, and what it was that he had launched himself there for. He looked up, searching for his classmates and the villain.

"Asuk--!" Mike started to say, but found himself staring down the barrel of a gun held by the very person he was trying to stop.

"Ah... the boy who won it all.  A friend of my daughter's, I presume,": Bloodstone said, a wry smirk painted on her face as she stared Mike down. Mike could feel his skin go cold and droplets of sweat form. His eyes darted around the room, spotting Ino and Asuka both in one piece. But then why had her quirk suddenly--

Lady Law then moved in on the scene, cuffing Bloodstone's wrist and throwing her down to the ground. "It's over, Kokoro! You can't run away from me anymore."

The two of them continued their exchanged, Ino even stepping in to say something. All of it sounded like distant, muffled gibberish to Mike, who stumbled backwards and fell on his rear, keeping himself supported by one arm. He couldn't see himself, but he was sure if he had a mirror that he would swear he was looking at a ghost. All he could think to do was breath: slowly, in through the nose, and out through the mouth. His heart pounded against his chest, and over a few seconds he could feel himself gradually calm down, yet his eyes still darted about restlessly.

"But we've been monologuing for quite some time now."

Mike felt his awareness snap back into reality for a split second, watching as Lady Law clutched at her throat and Bloodstone smash her bonds with a crystal. Mike's face contorted steadily from that of great fear, to blind rage, adrenaline coursing through his veins as Bloodstone reached for a familiar looking mask.

"OH NO YOU DON'T!" Mike shouted, his voice guttural and ragged. "I WON'T LET YOU GET AWAY!" Even as Mike released a strong blast of force, launching himself to his feet and lunging forward as fast as he could, his fist drawn back, ready to strike as hard as he could, he was too late. Bloodstone vanished as the mask touched her face, and Mike's fist sailed clean over the mask as it fell to the ground with a dull clatter.

Mike stood there, breathing heavily as he stared at the mask. ""GOD... DAMMIT!!!!"" Mike shouted, kicking the mask hard against the wall and falling down to his knees. ""DAMMIT!!""

He was too slow.

"You think I'm just gonna leave you here with that monster?! Lady Law is a pro! She wouldn't have used her Quirk if she didn't think she could take your mom out!"

"B, but..."

"Asuka...please..."

The adrenaline from being confronted with Bloodstone of all people was dying down in Asuka. Even in a two-on-one fight, the students likely wouldn't have been able to ever beat Bloodstone as they were. Lady Law was not only a pro, but was Bloodstone's friend once upon a time. If anyone in UA was able to beat her - barring Omega Star of course - surely it would be her, right? Now that Asuka was calming down, she was seeing the errors in her logic. Keeping herself here would force Lady Law to divide her attention between fighting Bloodstone and making sure she was safe. If anything, the more she thought about it, Asuka was putting Lady Law in danger by staying rather than leaving. And Ino as well, if she insisted on staying with her.

Wanting to stay just because Mama said to leave, especially because I was putting Ino in danger, was too prideful and rash. I can't keep acting that way if I want to be a hero. I'll have to adjust myself accordingly. It isn't much, but leaving will be a good way to start.

"...o--" Before even getting the chance to finish her single word, a crashing sound filled Asuka's ears as a boy effectively drilled his way through the wall, landing between her and Bloodstone.

"Asuk--!"

"Rosenfield!?"

"Ah...the boy who won it all.  A friend of my daughter's, I presume."

The fight between Bloodstone and Lady Law then continued. It seemed to be going in Lady Law's favor too! In a weird way, it felt a bit unfortunate that Asuka wouldn't be the one to finally lock Bloodstone away, but what mattered most was that somebody did it. And to think it was so soon after the villain's appearance! Although the events outside were still terrible, what was transpiring in this hallway was looking to lead to a bright future. With one less monster at large, the world would be a safer place.

"It's over, Kokoro! You can't run away from me anymore."

"I was never running away. I was running towards a brighter future. A future without fear. A future of understanding. I was hoping my best friend could've seen that."

"But to get to that future...you were going to kill so many. Kokoro that's not what U.A. taught us."

"U.A. fed us lies, Hinata! To protect a grateful people?! Yeah right! If it were up to all of them, there wouldn't be any quirks! There wouldn't be any of us!"

"Th-that's not true!"

Was it not true, though? If Asuka was born without a Quirk, would she feel poorly about Quirks? It was too major of a change to try and really understand on that kind of level. Quirkless sentiments against Quirks were definitely on the rise, so much so that there was now a Quirkless Liberation Front, as that mysterious figure had announced earlier. The mobs at Dr. Atomic's funeral came to mind. And the one that had swarmed Asuka and Ino at the mall. Was that really how the Quirkless world saw Quirks?

"Stop it! Your recruiting drivel won't work on my students!"

And then, something Asuka could never think of happened, right before her eyes. Bloodstone - crystal in hand - attacked Lady Law's throat.

"And now, 'Lady Law'...you're just like the rest of those dogs."

"LADY LAW!"

BGM

In that moment, nothing mattered except the injured hero in front of her. Asuka rushed to Lady Law's side and got onto her knees, putting one hand softly on the hero's back and holding the other out to help her up. She wasn't angry. Some part of Asuka felt like she was supposed to be angry, like Mike clearly was, but instead, Asuka found she was in full panic mode. Of all the pro heroes, why did it have to be Lady Law? Were those tears she felt on her face? She'd just wiped off the last ones from after her attack on Bloodstone. "How bad is the pain? Can you stand up by yourself? I-I'm not a doctor, but if I can do anything..."

iU8EggM.png

"Hitomi, it's starting, it's starting! This part right here!" Asuka pointed at the tv screen with enthusiasm. At her side, her godmother watched. She'd seen this specific part of this specific tv special on pro heroes at least twenty times in the last week. Frankly, she was getting tired of seeing it. But Asuka enjoyed it, and it was rare to see her this revved up about most things. Who was she to deny the kid an extra drop of joy in her day?

"It sure is."

The narrator of the special finished his explanation on the previous hero, and on the screen appeared the figure of Lady Law. "Which brings us to Lady Law. Quirk: Law. By yelling 'stop' out loud, Lady Law is able to disable even the most potent of Quirks. Of course, quirks that only mutate the body are unaffected by this." Footage was playing on the screen as he explained Lady Law's Quirk, of various encounters the hero had with villains.

"There she is!" Asuka cheered. The young girl bounced in her seat, enough for the hat atop her head - a replica of Lady Law's - to fall off her head. "She's so cool! Someday I'll go to U.A. and be a pro hero just like her!"

"I'm sure you will, Asuka."

iU8EggM.png

No. Those days are over now. If Mama wasn't bluffing, then Lady Law's hero career is... but I can still help her as a person. I can worry about her as a hero later. "...anything!" she repeated, gripping the hero's cape tightly. "I still have a lot of questions I wanted to ask you. And I never properly thanked you for letting me train with you. But first, you need to recover! I can carry you if the pain is too much to stand up!" Asuka glanced around her. Ino seemed too shocked by the display Bloodstone had made to be able to think straight. Asuka didn't blame her. The only thing standing between Asuka and screaming at the top of her lungs was the knowledge that now was the worst time to panic. Ino was afraid. Mike was enraged. Somebody had to try and at least look like they were keeping it together. Asuka took a deep breath. It's a bit selfish, but I don't want to leave Lady Law's side right now. If her voice box really is that injured, and she can't use her Quirk... we need to get her out of here.

"Mike," she said. "I need you and Ino to help me get Lady Law out of here. This isn't the time to be afraid or angry. I'm scared too, but I'll keep it together as long for as it takes, and right now, 'as long as it takes' is long enough to escort Lady Law out of here so somebody can check on her voice box. Can you both do that for me?" Although her tone of voice certainly counted as "keeping it together," her body language didn't quite match up. She was shaking where she stood, tears down her face and skin gone pale. This was simply too much to process all at once for her. I'll work my way through all of this later.

"So 'ye gonna feck off or are we gonna have a problem?" Hadley asked testily as Sayuri joined Terro. She didn't want to have to take down these two, she didn't have time. She had to track down Shiki, get Rex back under control before he caused more trouble than he was worth-

She saw Akira starting to wake up. "SHITE," she hissed, striding forward, her foot hitting something. She looked down to see a rock dome starting to form around her. Terro's doing. "HEY! 'Fer GOD'S sake, if 'ye want me te funk ye up I'll-"

"HOLY SHIIIIIII-"

Hadley's eyes were drawn upward by the sound of a scream cutting through the chaos. Her eyes darted about until they settled on something, something flying through the air, straight at Rex.

"Fuckin' 'ell," she mused, squinting. "Heck is tha'?" She peered closer, forgetting herself momentarily. It wasn't until it was almost at Rex that she realized just what it was.

"REX!" she yelled, knowing it wasn't going to do any good without Shiki there, but unable to stop the reflex as she saw Ichiro send his arm crashing into the side of Rex's face. With a loud howl of pain, the great beast slumped over, sliding down to crash into the stadium below, before being caught by-

"Lord D?" she breathed, seeing the recognizable hero outfit flying through the air. She gritted her teeth, looking down towards her hands. She made to twist her wrists, release the pneumatic seals. But she hesitated.

No... I bloody can't... I can't use it!

The grinding of stone brought her out of her thoughts, her vision darkening as something rose to block it. She looked around her to see that while she had been distracted, the rock dome had almost formed around her completely.

"NO 'FECKIN WAY," she roared, slamming both her gauntlets into the sides of the dome. It crumbled around her, leaving her standing in the middle of a pile of rubble. She saw Terro, Akira, and now even Mike standing together, creating some weird light contraption with Mike inside it.

"Hey!" she yelled, beginning to stride towards them. And that's when Mike shot out like a bullet. hadley felt him zoom over her shoulder rather than saw him, blinking in confusion before the swift air current yanked at her arm, dragging her back a foot in Mike's slipstream, ripping at the arm of her shirt as she was rotated ninety degrees, flinching back and gasping for air in her surprise as she looked back to see Mike drilling straight through the stadium wall.

"Hey!" she shouted, taking a step towards the hole before she remembered the others. She turned to look back, seeing Terro and Akira hobbling away. "HEY!" she yelled, somewhat deflated as she watched them move away from her.

"funk it, least they're gone," she sighed, turning and looking up in the air. Looking at the figure floating back from whence it came. Her eyes narrowed. "Now let's see 'bout you."

She took off running, sprinting along the floor of the arena, away from Rex and the pros, towards the place Ichiro was moving towards. She hopped up on a piece of large debris, using it as a springboard to climb up higher into the stands, tracing his movement with her eye. He was moving straight, and she saw she was reaching the edge of the stadium.

"I SAID," she yelled, whipping around and swinging her gauntlet like a golf club. It connected with a piece of rubble, a larger one, about the size of her own head. With a loud thunk it flew up, sailing through the air at Ichiro, followed swiftly by another, and another. "Get the funk OUT!" she screamed, apoplectic.

"Dammit! It's falling!"

Ichiro heard something after he was pulled back after his punch, before seeing the T-Rex falling. He was puzzled on why it was a big deal at this moment...the civilians evacuated...right?

"Lord D. have mercy on your soul, creature!"

That's when he saw a hero in armor and draconic wings going under the dinosaur and lifting it, before it changed back into a...a large lizard? At the same time, he noticed something else: scrambling citizens. His heart dropped for a moment, not even realizing that there were citizens outside of the stadium near that area. ...something tells me I'm going to get yelled at by them...I-I didn't know... Ichiro thought, sighing greatly at this point.

"I SAID..."

Wait...that voice...

"Get the funk OUT!"

Ichiro glanced down and saw exactly who he thought it was: Hadley...and she was lobbing a total of three head-sized debris towards him. He was still in the air being drug back by Kaito's Quirk. Right now he was a sitting duck...and there were three...how the hell would he be able to stop them?

Wait...Sky Parter Punch could do it... he thought, before shaking his head. No. I'd probably have to hit one of those for it to work, but the windy shockwaves probably wouldn't be able to knock the other two away. ...wait... Ichiro then glanced at his legs. I did want to use these more...m-maybe this'll work...h-heh...God...please don't let my leg break! Drop it down to 5% for this...

With an exhale, he clenched his fist and swung his right leg right in the direction of the first debris that was thrown at him. The kick made contact with the first debris and it kicked it over into the stadium stands, specifically in the direction of the ones that were completely empty. At the same time, a strong windy shockwave pushed back the other two with ease. However...

"S-Shiiiiiiit!" Ichiro groaned through gritted teeth. His right leg hurt...even worse than his arm, but the leg wasn't broken, so this was a plus. "K-Kaito! C-Can ya speed this up?!"

"D-d-d-don't worry.  I'll fix you!  I can fix this.  I'll fix you.  I'll fix you.  I'll fix you."

She had found Casey. Laying on the ground, unconscious, with a head injury, and with some stranger hovering over him. Her first instinct was to attack but she managed to stop herself before she did so. He looked like a villain. But...what if he wasn't? Her own teacher was often ranked high in "Heroes who look like villains" after all so she shouldn't be so hasty.

And even were he a villain...they seemed incredibly unstable. Attacking someone like that, with Casey in danger, would be far too risky. Even if it pained her. Even if her body was prepared to spring into action. She had to approach more cautiously.

Yet she still had to approach. She at least knew that she couldn't leave Casey alone in this situation no matter what. And so Valerie stepped closer to the man, waving. "Hey there, what's going on here? Someone hurt? Why don't we take him somewhere safer okay?"

Class 1-B: Sayaka, Kaito

iplp3Um.pngoWQytNV.jpg

"Say, doesn't he look kinda like he's saying something?"

"Not sure why he thought we'd hear him all the way over here..." Kaito then watched, as somebody started flinging rocks at Ichiro. Not small pebbles either. Those looked like they could actually hurt someone! "Hey, change of plans, hope you're ready to make some more webbing!" Kaito then started to speed up the rate at which Ichiro was moving toward him. Faster, and faster, until the gentle drift would become more of a crash-landing if something wasn't done about it.

"Ahhhhhhh, fine." Sayaka skittered up the base of the nearby tree, and along the branches, watching as the 1-A boy came in closer and closer. She began weaving a quick little web between the branches, It was like a small net, just big enough to catch the incoming student. "Alright, let him go!" On her signal, Kaito planted his hand onto a nearby tree, freeing Ichiro from the bonds of the Return Quirk, and causing gravity to take its course, pulling his course downward, and landing him safely in the web Sayaka had laid out. Although he almost wound up falling straight through it, the makeshift net held firm, although there was one problem.

Ichiro would find that - being a spider web - he was rather stuck.

"Oh me oh my," Sayaka teased, skittering along the web, toward Ichiro, until she was face-to-face with the strong kid. "Something flew into my web. You know that as a spider, I'm supposed to make you my meal now, right? Gahahaha~! ...I'm kidding, of course. People taste gross. Now don't move, or you'll tangle the web and we'll need to un-stick you by force." Sayaka's frontmost pair of legs started working in the web areas attached to Ichiro. Assuming he did as he was told and remained still, he'd feel himself getting unstuck bit by bit, as the spider's legs kept on working.

"Ahh, that was SO COOL THOUGH!" Raising a triumphant fist in the air, she cheered "You were like, BAM! And that big dumb lizard just fell right over! I didn't even think you'd hit it THAT hard! Everything went way better than expected, all thanks to my genius idea! And here you doubted me. You shouldn't underestimate 1-B like that, you know." By this point, Ichiro was about halfway unstuck.

h1v7t2f.png

She still had no idea what was going on. Akira had set up a cannon and fired Mike out of it, straight into a wall. If it were anyone that couldn't use a Quirk to propel themselves through the air like Mike, Sayuri would be pretty convinced that it was time to check Akira for brain damage. Even if it was Mike, Sayuri wasn't entirely convinced on ruling out the brain damage. Not letting herself lose track of their location for long, Sayuri hurried back up into the stands. Most if not all of the civilians were out safely now. That was a relief. However, there was something Sayuri needed to grab. Something important. Without it, her life would be a living hell until she got her hearing back.

Her whiteboard. She retraced her steps, hurrying along the seats, until she found it. It had developed some new cracks from people trampling it in their rush to escape. She'd have to get a new one, but for now, this one was still servicable. Whiteboard, marker, and eraser in hand, Sayuri hurried back down the seats, hopping over the rail and sliding along the wall for the descent, before running back to the group of Terro, Akira, and... who was that other girl, anyway? Must have been one of 1-B's. Sayuri recalled her ranting at Gin before.

Sayuri wrote down her rather lacking take on the situation, before holding the whiteboard out to the 1-B girl. She seemed the most well-off out of everyone. Hopefully she'd be able to answer.

My hearing got blown out by that dino earlier, and I didn't hear a thing you said. Please summarize it in a non-verbal form. You can use this whiteboard if you have to.

At the display of Lady Law falling over and clutching her throat, Ino's mind was going blank.  In an instant, Bloodstone had disappeared, and they were able to do nothing about it.  It was just like Kashykkk all over again.  Just like Suna's arm being viciously taken away from him.  Was this what she truly wanted...to face people with such killer intent on a day to day basis?  Ino clutched her arms, and started to shake violently.

"How bad is the pain? Can you stand up by yourself? I-I'm not a doctor, but if I can do anything..."

Lady Law looked at Asuka with tears in her eyes, desperately holding her neck and gasping for air.  She seemed to mouth Nurse Neko, with her face turning pale while she did.

"GOD... DAMMIT!!!!  DAMMIT!!""

Mike's yelling wasn't helping either.  And this person next to her...Bloodstone's daughter...her friend...was hobbled in front of Lady Law, clutching at her cape like she was clutching onto a safety blanket.  It almost made her vomit, but she held it in somehow.  Then, Asuka spoke up to rally them.

Can you both do that for me?"

Ino stared blankly at Asuka, before slapping herself out of this pathetic state she was in.  Even though Asuka was still crying, the demeanor of a hero was shining through.  Ino had to admit...she was rather jealous of how cool Asuka could be sometimes.  She nodded slowly, and hiked Lady Law's arm above her shoulder.  There was a slight vibration that rumbled Lady Law's body, but it didn't seem to affect her.  Her head bobbed up and down, as she faded in and out of consciousness.

"We need to get her to Nurse Neko, right now!"  Ino said, looking forward, and not towards either of her classmates.  As soon as the others helped her, they would be on a mission to get Lady Law to the evacuation area.

"Ah...so they're bringing out the big guns already...I guess we'll move this along...Ahah.  Is that boy ready yet?..."

As Suna and Mako raced across the battlefield of both Heroes and Villains alike, they came across Ichiro, Kaito, and Sayaka.  Ichiro had been caught in Sayaka's web, due to him falling from that attack against the giant Tyrannosaurus earlier.

"I knew you had to have done that, Ichiro.  That raw power and strength, but with no Omega Star in sight.  Only one culprit there"  Suna groaned.  He hadn't realized, but he was so concentrated on his sand that he hadn't put his fake arm back together again.  There was too much noise to worry about it now, as he sighed.  The sand that rushed behind him now took to the web, and cut delicately around Ichiro and Sayaka's front arms releasing him from the web in an instant.  "We need to get out of here.  Lord D.'s arrival mean's this fight's gonna be over soon.  I can't let anymore of you get hurt."  Suna took the time to notice Ichiro had likely injured himself again.  "Whether by villains or by yourself."

"They had no choice Suna."  Mako said, giving his student's and Ichiro a thumbs up.  "My kids got the spirit of true heroes!"

"Well...if they break the law...they're technically villains."

"Don't start with me, Sandy Cheeks!"  Suna growled.  He then smelt something different from his students, and looked into the stands to see Hadley.  He could smell her killing intent, as his eyes grew wide.  "Suna...get my kids out.  Lord D. is too busy with that heavy hitter...but I can handle this small fry."  Suna looked to where Mako was, and sighed.

"Don't go too wild on her.  She barely looks their age."

"I'll end it quickly...now go."  Suna nodded, and grabbed the other student's up with his sand, as he pushed them far ahead of himself and towards the exits.  Mako then rolled his shoulder, showing off his large rows of teeth to Hadley.  "You know...we can't let villains like you get away with what you've done today."  In an instant, Mako jumped up to where Hadley was in the stands, breaking the ground he had currently just been standing on.  "And I ain't gonna take it easy on ya neither."  He said, as he buried his fist into her stomach, launching her into the stands higher up.  Even if she had blocked with her gauntlets, the force would be enough to blow her arms back.

Suna watched behind him as the dust was kicked up in the stands.  He sighed yet again.  He and the students were now travelling fast through the exit hallways, them still being way farther ahead.  With him being able to feel the sand, he was able to get them through all the twists and turns with ease.  That was until he heard the pin of a gun cock back.  His stand stopped for a second, but continued on its path shortly after.

"There aren't many villains who use guns nowadays...but I know you were fond of them."  Suna looked back to see a woman pull a mask from her face.  "Kokoro."

"Suna."  She said, sternly.

"What do you want with me Koko?  The last time you I saw you, we were-"

"Stop."  She said, jolting the gun forward a bit.  "That night was a mistake.  I knew you were trying to pull something."

"Not a thing."  Suna said, with a blank stare.  "So what now?  You're gonna kill me because of that."  By this time, the sand had washed Ichiro, Kaito, and Sayaka to the evacuation area.  He smiled.  At least they were safe.  Now he could die in peace.

"I couldn't even if I wanted to.  My daughter's friend shredded my tendons with the help from Asuka."  She laughed, as she put the gun down.  She crossed her arms before looking back up.  "I came to tell you that she's your daughter too."

The three of them were joined by the wolf girl from 1-A.  She held up her whiteboard for Erika to read.

My hearing got blown out by that dino earlier, and I didn't hear a thing you said. Please summarize it in a non-verbal form. You can use this whiteboard if you have to.

Erika was sad that talking wouldn't work, so she scribbled down the same thing she had said to the two boys from earlier all on the whiteboard.  It was so small, but oddly legible, to make it fit on the board.

As Erika, Terro, Sayuri, and Akira ran towards the evacuation area, they made sure to make a pit stop as soon as they laid eyes on Nurse Neko.  She made sure to poke the three 1-A students full of her healing liquid, but alerted them that Akira might have a concussion.  Nurse Neko warned them not to let Akira fall asleep anytime soon, and then hurried on to her next patients.  With that, they kept going, with Erika guiding the way with the address plugged into her own phone's gps system.  They were getting nearer and nearer, until they saw a huge dust cloud a block down the road.

Gin was shot out of the house, flying head over heels, until he collided with the wall of the house across from theirs.  Gin could feel the air leave his body.  It was a punch that hurt way more than anything Terro had dished out.  As he slid down the surface of the wall, he watched as his father came marching out of the house, shaking off his hand that was encased with that orange glowing power of his.  As he stepped out into the sunlight, the glow became even more intense, as he took a deep breath.

"Ahhhh.  What a beautiful day.  You know, in prison, they didn't even let me see the sun!  How awful is that?  With people with Quirks like mine, they can treat us like animals, just because we might cause a ruckus."  His dad then shot out his hand, shooting a large orange laser at Gin's body.  Gin kicked off the wall to dodge the attack, but used his arms to break his fall.  That was the worst thing he could've done, as he could feel his healing sinew snap yet again, causing his face to hit the concrete.  "I'd like to think they were gonna let me out on good behavior, but this was fine too.  Now I really don't want to do this, Gin.  I honestly missed you.  But we're moving, now.  I hope you can forgive me later."

"Shut up." Gin said, picking his face up from the bloodied cement.  "You missed being a famous hero...even if that meant getting dirty doing it.  You didn't miss either of us!  WE WERE JUST PROPS!"

"Of course I did!"  Gin's father said with a smile.  "She was integral to my pla-"

"Blue-ger Burst!"  Propping himself up with an elbow, Gin shot out his arm, and released that Blue stream attack, scraping him against the ground from the force of the attack alone.  He grit his teeth, as it felt like his arm was ripping apart.  His father's front side began to glow Orange, as the attack sent him flying into the Otoma front lawn.  His shirt had been ripped to shreds, and his chest harbored quite the burn.

"Geez son...you sure aren't making it easy for your old man."

"Hey there, what's going on here? Someone hurt? Why don't we take him somewhere safer okay?"

With the sound of someone inching closer, and suddenly talking, the figure couldn't help but jump up and turn around, almost stepping on Casey's head in the process.

"Ah...ah...Who are you!?  Hero???  No...too young...definitely student."  The figure began to juggle his wrench in the air, throwing it up and down.  "They...they told me to fix you guys...fix them...but break them...at the same time....impossible...but th-th-they said I could fix things for them."  He pointed to Casey, his finger rocking around nervously.  "Th-th-they said I could fix s-s-s-society.  Th-th-that's all I-I-I'm good at doing....but I broke him instead...BUT I CAN FIX HIM!"  The figure threw up his hands in a defensive gesture.  "B-b-b-ut you pr-pr-probably don't care r-r-right?  You're gonna try to f-f-f-fix Fix instead."  The figure was getting visibly distraught, as he tried to tussle the hair that lay under his hood.  "Hnnnnnnnn...what should Fix do?!  Fix wants to help them, but Fix wants to fix!"  He stopped for a moment, and then started to laugh.  "I c-c-can't let you st-st-stop me.  I'm going to f-f-f-fix everything.  I'll f-f-f-fix you later, deal?"  He said, before throwing his large wrench, attached to a chain towards, Valerie.

"What is thy angle here!?"  Lord D. questioned forcefully, as he held Wendigo by the throat against a crater he had made with Wendigo's own body.  "What are thy villains aiming for with such a ghastly attack on students and civilians alike."  Wendigo gripped Lord D.'s arm, trying to pry it from his neck, but struggled to do so.  He was so hungry that his stomach would've been heard grumbling, if it wasn't for all the other loud noises going on.  Wendigo seemed to smile before answering.

"Just a little harmless fun is al-"  Lord D. reeled Wendigo's head back, only to smash it further into the wall, cratering it some more.

"Ye call this...harmless?"

"Well for me, I'd call it a Saturda-"  Lord D. repeated the process again, causing Wendigo to cough up some blood.

"Answer the question, villain scum, lest I drop ye from the highest peak in Japan."

"Omega Star was definitely rougher on me...no wonder you're only number two!  GAhAHAHahaha!"  Wendigo's bloody spit from his laughter splattered against Lord D.'s armor.  His eyes glared back into Wendigo's lifeless red pupils.

"I'll ask ye yet again...what is thy purpose here..."  Then, the screens around the stadium began to glow up again, as the airwaves had been hijacked once more.  As Lord D. looked to the screens, Wendigo tried throwing a desperate punch that unexpectedly landed.  It released Wendigo from his tight grasp, as he dropped to the ground.  A crashing sound could be heard next to him, as the man who had attacked Terro before emerged with a bloodied tempest in his grip.

"Well hey there, Gungnir.  Nice of you to finally join us.  You done training that brat of yours?"

"I was interrupted."  He said, as he flung Tempest to the ground beside Lord D.  "Rudely."

"Disappointing."  Wendigo sighed.  He stood up alongside Gungnir as they stood to face off against Lord D. once again.  From the screen, however, a lone teenager sat strapped to a chair, unconscious, as his head hung low.  If any of the students who knew him could make it out, the face of the teenager was that of Goto's.  After a couple of minutes of the camera swaying to get him into view, the ominous voice from the first time rang out again.

"Shhhhh...we don't want to wake the baby."  The voice seemed to laugh under their breath, as they pretended to wait for an invisible audience behind him to settle down.  "The Quirkless Liberation front...have some demands."

As Aaron and gang exited out the arena towards the makeshift evacuation site, a sigh of relief from Aaron knowing that nothing bad has happened from capture to now. “How much I wanted to get out if that place!! Thanks again, you guys! And lizard girl, we are almost to the authorities.” They approached a group of officers that form a barricade as Aaron can feel Shiki starting to move, however, he was running out of steam to really do any to her, so he stopped for his sake. “Hey, guys hold on for a bit as I get her to the police.”

Aaron walked over to the nearest officer, “Hello officer. I have obtained the villain that was controlling the giant lizard monster that crashed through the stadium.” The officer, with a pleased look, "Thank you for the assistance!" He called over another officer who takes Shiki from Aaron as she is taken in. “Well, I should be going now.” Only a few more steps away until he can go and relax from this crazy day of chaos and tournaments. A good sleep would be-

"Hey...you look a little young for a hero.  Mind if I get your hero name?"

Aaron froze in place as knowing that he did break the law to an extent of using his quirk on someone. Maybe they don’t know he is a student, maybe he can bluff his way out, or not. Turning around, "Uhh. . . Voltage. . . Just Voltage."

"Voltage." The officer takes out a notepad and writes down ‘Voltage’ then looks back at Aaron.  "Duly noted. Thank you for the assistance Voltage! If there's anyone else in need of rescue, a hero like you should get back to work!"

“Yes, but I need to refill my quirk before I can go back in. I used most of my power restraining that villain.” Aaron turned back around towards Aina and Shin after making a somewhat successful bluff, maybe. “Well. . . I am a pro now according to the police, so I am going to go charge up and I will get back to helping people. Can't let the names of heroes go asunder, and my own reputation. . . Well, thanks again Aina and Shin, I’ll catch up later with-” A television screen from a nearby response shack caught Aaron attention as he saw that the shadow figure again along with someone familiar. Pointing towards the screen, “Hey guys, does that guy look familiar to you, or is that me?"

By reading the whiteboard the 1-B girl had provided, Sayuri got a grasp of the situation. Gin had ran off, and she planned to track him down by using the return if found address on his phone. But she was worried about both Gin's temper and Akira's injuries. After reading it all over, Sayuri nodded, and gave the girl a thumbs-up. This was something worth looking into. As the trio-gone-quartet made their way out of the stadium, they made a quick stop to see Nurse Neko, so she could check up on Akira. Sayuri wasn't sure what the verdict was, but it couldn't have been too bad, right? She didn't insist on keeping Akira with her, at least.

Sayuri had even gotten a healing injection in her ears. It felt unpleasant to have people sticking things in her ears, but it felt like a necessary discomfort. Surely, Nurse Neko's healing would let Sayuri get her hearing back, right?

It sure didn't feel that way.

However, it was definitely coming back. Sayuri could definitely hear things during the walk toward the return address, but it sounded like little more than a dull ringing that she couldn't make out the details of. As they were getting closer to the address, things were sounding clearer and more audible. By the time a dust cloud had shown itself a block away, Sayuri could properly hear again, though she could tell it wasn't to her normal extent. She definitely heard something accompanying that cloud. Some sort of crashing or exploding sound. She wasn't entirely sure. As she hurried over to see what was going on, the idea was much clearer. Gin was fighting... someone. They looked pretty similar. An older brother, perhaps?

"But we're moving, now.  I hope you can forgive me later."

"Shut up. You missed being a famous hero...even if that meant getting dirty doing it. You didn't miss either of us! WE WERE JUST PROPS!"

"Of course I did! She was integral to my pla-"

"Blue-ger Burst!"

It was pretty obvious, but Gin really doesn't like him. He's even willing to use his Quirk against this guy, despite his arms.

"Geez son...you sure aren't making it easy for your old man."

His father...

"And my old man...I prefer what the trash on the bottom of my heel thinks of me. That guy can rot in his jail cell for all I care."

I think I get it now. He shouldn't be here right now; he must have broken out of jail. That would be why Gin ran off; to deal with this guy. But to try so forcibly to make Gin move away? The dorms were still an option if Gin wanted to stay, and to have probably dropped it on him so suddenly? Not to mention this plan of his. Whatever it was, it involved using Gin and "her" - his mother perhaps? - as props. That didn't sit well with Sayuri. It left a hot, angry feeling in the pits of her stomach. Sayuri fished her cell phone out of her pockets, typing something down on a notepad app. She never did like communicating like this; writing on the whiteboard always felt faster, more organic, and overall better than typing on a phone. However, she had other plans for the whiteboard.

Once she'd finished typing out her message, she tucked the phone into her sleeve, and wrote down two words on the whiteboard. She needed to buy a new one anyway, so what she was about to do next didn't make her feel bad or anything. It was for a cause she felt was worth fighting for, anyway. The wolf girl reared her throwing arm back, and with every ounce of strength her body could muster, hurled the whiteboard directly at Gin's father. She could only hope he'd stop to read it. If nothing else, she wanted him to read it, and the simple two words she'd adorned it with.

Bad father.

She then moved from the sidelines, putting herself almost directly in front of Gin, hands behind her back. She subtly fished her phone out from its secure spot in her sleeve, holding it upward for Gin to take.

You shouldn't keep shooting at him with your arms like that. If he shoots with me here though, I'm allowed to fight back, so don't move. If he tries anything funny, just do what you would have normally done. Also, please give me back my phone once you're done reading.

Class 1-B: Sayaka, Kaito

iplp3Um.pngoWQytNV.jpg

"We need to get out of here. Lord D.'s arrival mean's this fight's gonna be over soon. I can't let anymore of you get hurt. Whether by villains or by yourself."

"They had no choice Suna. My kids got the spirit of true heroes!"

"We sure do!" Sayaka boasted, eyes alight with pride and glee.

"Well...if they break the law...they're technically villains."

"It was all your student's idea, sir, he's totally out of control."

"You sounded awfully proud of yourself until a moment ago," Kaito sighed.

Before Sayaka had much time to further protest, she, Kaito, and 1-A's own super-strength boy were swept up by the teacher's sand. rushing along through the halls to get out of here super-fast! Sayaka had to admit, she didn't like this feeling. Even when she tried to get out, she just wound up stepping in the sand again and stumbled about as the sand continued onward, not caring for her attempts at escape. Finally resigning to her fate, Sayaka let out a huff and sat herself down in the sand.

"When I said we should all go to the beach after the tournament, this isn't what I meant."

"Good job with that punch, by the way," Kaito said, ignoring his eight-legged companion entirely as she near-inaudibly muttered about various beach-related topics. She seemed to have a particular fixation on figuring out just how fast Mako could swim. "Imagine what sort of stuff you could do if your Quirk didn't have those nasty side-effects. You could probably do some really amazing stuff like... arm-wrestling Omega Star and winning."

Ichiro felt himself being pulled back a bit faster, as he yelped and actually found himself in a spider's web now...no doubt Sayaka's. He let out a small sigh of relief, before smiling some. "H-Heh...thanks Kaito..."

"Oh me oh my. Something flew into my web. You know that as a spider, I'm supposed to make you my meal now, right? Gahahaha~! ...I'm kidding, of course. People taste gross. Now don't move, or you'll tangle the web and we'll need to un-stick you by force."

Thaaaaaaat doesn't put me at ease much... he thought, letting out a small chuckle.

"Ahh, that was SO COOL THOUGH! You were like, BAM! And that big dumb lizard just fell right over! I didn't even think you'd hit it THAT hard! Everything went way better than expected, all thanks to my genius idea! And here you doubted me. You shouldn't underestimate 1-B like that, you know."

"I-It wasn't more or less underestimating you...it was just the entire fact of possibly falling and dying...ya know, the obvious stuff." Ichiro admitted, before noticing two other figures moving towards them. Though, the closer they got, the more he felt a small pit in his stomach.

"I knew you had to have done that, Ichiro. That raw power and strength, but with no Omega Star in sight. Only one culprit there"

"S-Suna-sensei...uh..."

"We need to get out of here. Lord D.'s arrival mean's this fight's gonna be over soon. I can't let anymore of you get hurt. Whether by villains or by yourself."

At this point, Ichiro decided to make himself heard. "S-Suna-sensei, this here was only from my bout with Mike. I-I hit the dinosaur with my other hand...and well, kicked the debris away from me that Hadley threw...but right now those only hurt like hell...t-they aren't broken."

"They had no choice Suna. My kids got the spirit of true heroes!"

"We sure do!"

"Well...if they break the law...they're technically villains."

"It was all your student's idea, sir, he's totally out of control."

"ME?! Y-You shanghaied me into this, Sayaka!!" Ichiro exclaimed, before looking at Suna again. He knew he'd probably get a shouting at later...maybe perhaps he could probably explain the whole situation to him later...maybe even before Lord D. got to him.

Before too much else was said, Ichiro felt himself being swept away by Suna's sand as he and the two students from 1-B were pushed towards the exit. He was surprised that he didn't see too much of Suna after that, but he figured that he was still dealing with some evacuees.

"Good job with that punch, by the way. Imagine what sort of stuff you could do if your Quirk didn't have those nasty side-effects. You could probably do some really amazing stuff like... arm-wrestling Omega Star and winning."

"E-Eheh, thanks...if I didn't have the side-effects of this, it would probably be a whole lot better..." Ichiro said, as the sand seemed to finally stop near the exit. Getting up, he dusted himself off some and helped up the other two. "As for Omega Star...well, she did sort of help me train. She's the one who told me to concentrate and find a good medium power output..." He started going out of the stadium, around the area that there was a huge screen on the side of it...about the time that there was a message going out.

"Shhhhh...we don't want to wake the baby. The Quirkless Liberation front...have some demands."

The voice chilled Ichiro a bit, as he quickly turned around to see the screen and his eyes widened. The group, this Quirkless Liberation group...they had someone...from the tournament!

"H-Hey...isn't that...h-he's the guy that Valerie fought!" Ichiro quickly said, trying to get Sayaka and Kaito to notice.

Sayaka stopped in her tracks to look at the tv. Just as Ichiro said, that was Goto. "Huh!?!? They're kidnapping our classmates!? Rrrr, now they've done it! Kaito, you're coming with me! We're capturing those Quirkless Liberation Front idiots and not showing any mercy!"

"We don't know where they are, Sayaka."

"So we'll capture one! I said that!" Whirling around and pointing her finger at Ichiro, the eight-legged girl continued "And you're coming with us! I don't care if Beach Bod wants us out of here or not!"

Finding a Quirkless Liberation member? Was she crazy?! "W-What?! N-No...!" Ichiro shook his head in a frantic manner. "You heard Suna and Mako! Believe me, I want to help find him as much as you do...but...but you might just end up getting in the same position."

"What are they gonna do, put a giant cup over me!?" As Sayaka stormed back toward the arena, she felt a hand tap one of her legs. Then, as she kept walking, she felt herself getting dragged away from the arena, back toward the boys. "What the... Kaito!!"

"I want to find Goto too, but this is a job for the pros. Even if you pull it off, you're breaking the law and acting reckless. You'd get scolded by Mako... probably." The look on his face suggested that Kaito wasn't actually entirely sure if Mako would care or not, but was willing to err on the side of caution anyway. "Leave it to him and the other pros. If they're taking a hostage, they won't kill Goto just like that. Besides, even out of our class, this sounds more like Aiko's type of work, doesn't it?"

Ichiro sighed in relief, seeing that Kaito was on his side on this. However, it did seem like a good time to ask this, after all...he needed help too. "Kaito's right. A-And listen...if you want to help out...y-you can help me out real quick. I-I need to find my brother. And...well...at this moment, it would actually h-help out a lot if you could."

Class B Squad ~ Shin and Aina

Surprisingly the mission to escort "battery" and the villain worked out a lot more then Shin and Aina thought, as they arrived near the police. The Shins nodded at one another, before having Anger and Happiness vanish in a puff of red and yellow smoke respectively.

"Alright...we did it."

"Yeah...that seemed a bit easier than I originally thought." Shin nodded firmly. He glanced over towards Aaron who was delivering the villain to the police, before walking back towards them. "Well?"

“Well...I am a pro now according to the police."

"You...YOU LIED?!" Aina exclaimed, before quickly hushing herself. "Y-You lied?!"

"...fantastic."

"I am going to go charge up and I will get back to helping people. Can't let the names of heroes go asunder, and my own reputation... Well, thanks again Aina and Shin, I’ll catch up later with-...Hey guys, does that guy look familiar to you, or is that me?"

Both Aina and Shin looked at each other before looking over at the screen that was displaying something. Immediately, Aina gasped and put her hand to her mouth. Shin, on the other hand, seemed to be clenching his fists tightly at this point.

"Shhhhh...we don't want to wake the baby. The Quirkless Liberation front...have some demands."

"Goto...how the hell did they get you?" Shin muttered through clenched teeth.

"Goto?! ...h-how? Oh man...I hope Mako sees this."

This caused Shin to smirk a bit with a small chuckle. "Heh, yeah. Have the shark see this...he'd most likely kick this guy's ass from here to America."
