She wanted to think of this guy as a Villain. It'd be so much easier then. She'd know just what to do.

Beat him down.

But there was something wrong here. The way he spoke was confusing, and confused, and it almost felt that the screws he had loose were being manipulated.

Valerie wished it could be cut and dry. Fight the baddies. Not this moral decision stuff.

There were two things she knew for sure, though. One was that he had hurt Casey and intended to hurt others. And the other was that he was going to try and bring her down first.

Neither of those were things she could allow to happen without doing something about it.

The weapon he threw at her was large, easily noticeable, and not too difficult to dodge. She might not be warm enough to produce her Quirk but she was no longer cold. Her reaction time was as good as ever.

She leaned her body to the side to let the wrench sail past her. However she didn't know what this guy could do. He could just be recklessly tossing the weapon without any follow-up but if he wasn't letting it go by could be a huge mistake.

So she reached up and grabbed the chain right behind the wrench itself. Intending to tug on it and mess up this guy's footing. As she did she gave him a grin and spoke up. "Honestly I'm probably much more broken than him. If you're gonna 'fix' anyone you might as well start with me."

Isami watched as the events unfolded, still in hiding. He grimaced as Gin was shot out of the house, the mysterious voice appearing out of the house and in front of the snake boy. Isami stealthily and slowly slithered towards the older figure, stopping as he saw Gin fire off the blue laser. Isami wasn't sure what to do. The man was clearly much stronger than Gin and Isami, even possible combined. This was especially true with Gin's injuries. And yet, was he really going to stay there and watch this man beat his friend, possibly kill him? Gin still had some fight in him, as he fired off the blue laser at his father.

It was then that a familiar whiteboard flew out of nowhere, aiming straight at Gin's father. "Sayuri." He thought to himself, his eyes glaring at the adult. Seeing this, he had made up his mind; he couldn't just sit there and watch Gin get beat, even if he was putting himself in danger. Plus, they had Sayuri now.

Isami darted towards Gin's father and, when he was much closer, lunged at him. "Leave him alone!" As he lunged, he became a much larger snake, fangs prominent and ready to bite. He had made a concision effort to not bite anyone, especially his classmates. This, however, was different. This was no ordinary person.

This was a villain

Hadley stood tall, glaring down at Ichiro and the two who had assisted him. Her expression was thunderous, head thrust high above them.

"Good way 'ta break 'yer legs, Ichiro," she called down crossly, beginning the slow saunter down towards them. "I'll do 'ya a favor and leave 'em untouched, though... Let 'ya walk outta here after I make 'yer arms a matching set for not BLOODY LISTENIN' 'ta me."

It was then that the pro heroes arrived, Lord D having taken on the force that was Wendigo. Hadley held up, suddenly looking nervous. She hadn't reckoned she would be tussling with those of the pro level. She had known it would be possible, but this many, plus the students, by herself?

"Ah, 'yer not fuckin' WORTH it," she grumbled, turning to stride away. Out of the corner of her eye she caught sight of a dart of movement. Mako.

She whirled, raising her arms reflectively, but Mako was too great a force. His fist slammed into her gauntlet, blowing her arms back so severely she felt a wrench on her shoulder and instinctively knew it had come very close to being dislocated. That brief thought was all she had in the whirlwind of battering that assailed her, Mako's punch throwing her bodily as she was tossed, breaking through debris like a meteor.

She came to a halt some twenty feet away, gasping for breath as blood streamed from her forehead and cut lip. She pulled herself up onto her knees woozily, turning to see Mako standing there, her vision blurring in and out of focus. Her gauntlet rested on the ground as she pushed herself up, a massive crack in it from Mako's strike. It didn't go all the way through, but she could tell his single blow had almost broken it.

"You... Right... Tell me... You one 'a the ones that voted against me, last year?" she asked, her words ever so slightly slurred. She had been knocked good by that hit, no mistake. She raised the gauntlets anyway, glaring at him with bleary vision. "I can do sheet without tha' damn Quirk, AIGHT?" she called to him, voice raising abruptly on the last word, as rage started to course through her. "I'll PROVE it; I'll tear down every goddamn brick UA's got, what they denied me!"

And then the screen moved again. Hadley barely noticed it, but the voice on the other end caught her attention. She flickered an eyebrow over to see it... And froze.

"Tha' funk?" she asked blearily, frowning. "Wha' the hell's this about?" She raised her voice again, but she clearly wasn't speaking to Mako. "Oy Masque; Tha funk is this?" Her query sounded out around them, as Hadley looked on in confusion, stuck between looking at the screen and back at Mako, looking unsure all of a sudden.

It worked.

The combo-move Akira had thought up actually managed to fire without wiping them all out in the process. Even though he had figured it was the best, if only, course of action, Akira found himself a little bit surprised that it actually succeeded. He wasn't completely sure what was in store for Mike on the inside, but he only hoped it would turn out for the best. After all, there were pro heroes all over the place. What was the worst that could happen?

Terro helped Akira out of the disaster zone, and the dog girl followed along with them, but upon their exit they were met with the girl Akira had sat beside earlier. Gin's girlfriend, or something of the sort. "You two are that wannabe villains friends right?  Well-well-well he ran off really quick after seeing something on his phone and I think he's going to do something stupid and he's trying to do it all alone and I think he needs help and I think we should help him but I don't think I could do it all by myself because it seemed pretty serious and If I followed him he might get mad and try to kill me!  After all, you know his temper!  Awful, Awful, Explosively Awful!  You know!  You know!  His phone has a return if found address, and I was thinking we should go find him!  But Akira looks pretty banged up...maybe we should go see Nurse Neko first!  Of course, you don't have to go!  Their might be a fight going on, and I don't wanna get in trouble with the law.  Confused, Confused, utterly confused!" That all... was a mouthful. She seemed as if she did not know where to stop, instead electing not to do so at all, even as she struggled to hold herself together. "I don't know what to do."

This was quite a lot for Akira to process. Someone, presumably Gin, had run off for reasons unknown. Akira probably would have assumed it was a fear reaction, but the girl insisted it was something more. If there was a fight, Akira was unsure of just how useful he could be, given his current level of injury. Gin's girlfriend seemed at least vaguely aware of that fact, but the showing he just exhibited may have misled her on just how much was left in him. So many factors, so many variables. For once, Akira was left without a clue. Luckily, his companion was comfortable operating with no clue whatsoever. "Alright, lead the way," Terro blurted out, quickly reworking his hero costume into a sort of harness so that Akira could be carried on his back. What was the worst that could happen?

The group made a quick stop by Nurse Nya before leaving on their confused adventure, the school's nurse giving an injection to Akira and instructing them to take careful care of his potential concussion. Akira was tempted to ask how stupid she thought they were, before remembering exactly what they were all heading out to do... whatever that may be...

c9SYpcu.png

As they made the journey to the address Gin unwittingly left behind, Akira tapped on Terro's shoulder awkwardly, "Hey, I'm an active duty non-combatant. I don't have much of any fight left in me, but if we're lucky I can keep you idiots in-check." Though his head was still pounding, he could feel that the wounds on his head and leg had already closed. The damage within would most certainly take longer to recover from, but at least he was no longer at risk of bleeding out. "None of us, you included, are at 100% right now, so we need to play this right to stay alive. We don't know what's ahead, but... I don't think it's good. So try to follow my lead, alright Blaster?" Looking to his side, he saw Gin's girlfriend, and the dog. Writing off the dog as an observer, he addressed the unknown variable, "Hey, Chatterbox, what's your quirk?"

The girl looked at him with an incredibly offended expression, as if he had asked her for all of her measurements, before reluctantly answering, "I can take in a lot of air, and shoot it out really fast.  If I make a whistle shape with my mouth, it becomes pretty sharp...the air I mean...it can cut things pretty easily.  But If I just have my mouth wide open, I can make really big gusts of wind!" Once she got going, Gin's girlfriend seemed pretty eager to explain what she was capable of. Akira never really understood why people held so much pride in their quirks, but figured that was just the world they lived in. No wonder quirkless people got pissed off about it.

Akira gave it all a moment of thought, before giving her an acknowledging nod, "That should work well. Quirky, Quirky, Terrifically Quirky." He closed his right hand, as if clenching tightly onto something, as a hint of a smile played at the edge of his mouth, cracking the blood caked to his skin. He turned his attention forward, just in time to see Gin launched through of a dust cloud that partially concealed the run-down neighborhood before them. He hit a wall of another house, and it looked like it hurt. Akira traced where he must have been thrown from, to see a man, seemingly in his late 20s to early 30s, saunter out onto the lawn, glowing orange. He watched closely as Gin tried to hit him with a blue beam, and the man glowed orange after the impact. It seems like that guy is Gin's dad, based on their conversation. Volume definitely runs in the family. And his quirk... looks to be along the same vein.

Before he could give much more thought to the villain's capabilities, several things happened. The dog... threw a whiteboard at him... before taking a position between Gin and his father. Whatever her plan was, Akira couldn't see it ending well. He knew nothing of what she could do, but sincerely doubted it would be enough. Not one to let one animal recklessly act alone, the snake boy Akira fought earlier that day immediately dove in for the attack as well, seemingly out of nowhere. At this point, it was clear that the villain was greatly outnumbered, but Akira had a sneaking suspicion that numbers alone wouldn't be enough. But that's enough speculation. Now we need to act.

Akira shook at Terro's shoulder with his left hand, speaking into his ear loudly enough that Terro could hear, but not enough so that the command would be heard by their enemy, "Now Terro, kick him off his balance!"

Mike

Mike had remained slumped on his knees, staring at the floor with his fists clenched hard and his breathing ragged. Even as Asuka spoke to him his head had remained lowered, his hair falling down in front of his face.

"Mike," Asuka had said. "I need you and Ino to help me get Lady Law out of here. This isn't the time to be afraid or angry. I'm scared too, but I'll keep it together as long for as it takes, and right now, 'as long as it takes' is long enough to escort Lady Law out of here so somebody can check on her voice box. Can you both do that for me?"

Mike looked up and saw Asuka, his face betraying the surprise he felt as his expression relaxed somewhat when he noticed that Asuka's tone had not matched her body language. Silently, Ino walked over and slotted herself under Lady Law's other arm to help support her.

"We need to get her to Nurse Neko, right now!" Ino said, with an amount of confidence and determination that Mike found hard to believe that anyone could muster in this moment-- an amount of determination that, despite the same shock and the same fear, his friends had managed to muster up.

And here he was, on his knees on the floor, cursing at himself for something he couldn't have prevented. And even now, as he looked at his friends with a look of defeated exhaustion, he knew that now wasn't the time to keep beating up on himself over this. He had to get over it, and he had to get over it now.

"You're right," Mike said, getting up to his feet and looking down each hall. "I saw Nurse Neko earlier, with Valerie and one other student from 1-B. They were heading to the evacuation site, but were still on the other side of the arena last I saw them." As he said this, there was a low rumble as the fire spread and more parts of the stadium had collapsed into each other. "...But we should focus on getting to safety first. I'll lead the way and make sure it's safe up ahead." Of course, this wasn't without making sure that Ino and Asuka were alright with Lady Law, but with the chaos of noise echoing around the halls in the arena, they didn't have much time to sort out any kinda of solution.

((Because now isn't a good time to insert it: Mike's plan is basically running ahead, finding the safest/quickest routes, and leading Asuka/Ino down to safety))

"We need to get her to Nurse Neko, right now!"

Asuka took a deep breath. The initial shock was starting to wear down, but that didn't change the situation or how Asuka felt about any of it. Wiping her tears off on the glove over her free hand, Asuka stood up alongside Ino, supporting Lady Law's weight with her shoulder, similar to Ino. "Let's go."

"I saw Nurse Neko earlier, with Valerie and one other student from 1-B. They were heading to the evacuation site, but were still on the other side of the arena last I saw them. ...But we should focus on getting to safety first. I'll lead the way and make sure it's safe up ahead."

Asuka simply nodded, following Mike's lead. It was a good plan. Out of everyone, he was by far the fastest, not to mention both Asuka and Ino had Quirks that could help protect Lady Law. The crystals Asuka had generated during her fight just earlier were all shattered by Ino's Quirk, either directly or by the shrapnel crashing into them. She'd need new ones. Slower than the last few crystals, new pairs of crystals started creeping out of Asuka's arms. In the end, there were only eight. That was all she had left in her, and they were probably going to be weaker than her crystals up until now had been. But if she wasn't using them to attack, and just to protect herself, Ino, and Lady Law, eight would be enough.

...I hope.

Gesturing for Ino to follow up on Mike's lead, Asuka started toward the exit. Every moment counted right now. As she started walking, Asuka briefly turned her gaze toward the injured Lady Law. "Hang in there, okay? We'll make sure you get to Nurse Neko, and she'll be able to heal you."

Her attention then turned to Ino. The more she'd reflected on the fight with Bloodstone, the more she shouldn't have tried to fight at all. "I've probably got a lot to answer for, don't I? I'll explain everything later, anything you want to know. But I need to say right now... I'm sorry for not backing off when we ran into Bloodstone. I was putting both of us in serious danger, and if we'd just left instead of fighting, maybe Lady Law wouldn't be..." Asuka took another deep breath. "In any case, I was acting selfish. I'm sorry."

Gin looked on in anguish, as he tried to scramble to his feet in a desperate attempt to get another hit in on his old man.  However, the struggling only made his arms hurt worse.  If he hadn't had let loose in the tournament...he might have been able to save her...but thanks to his reckless abandon, he was in this situation.  His fingers clawed at the cement, as he tried to raise himself once more.  The pores in his arms started to bleed profusely, as his arm started to light up blue once more.

"This is all I can do...for her."  He thought.  "If I could just...make him disappear..."

A familiar object then whirred through the air, as Gin's father moved his head back to avoid it.  He saw a glimpse of what was written, and then frowned.  In a furry flash, Sayuri had appeared in between the two.  Gin's almost felt a wave of relief rush over him, that was soon followed by rage.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!  I HAD THIS UNDER CONTRO-"

In Sayuri's hands, she held her phone.  He couldn't reach out to grab it.  The pain he was feeling wouldn't let him reach out, but he could make out the letters at this range.

You shouldn't keep shooting at him with your arms like that. If he shoots with me here though, I'm allowed to fight back, so don't move. If he tries anything funny, just do what you would have normally done. Also, please give me back my phone once you're done reading.

Gin grit his teeth.  He couldn't believe this wolf girl was even trying to put up a fight against this guy.  Begrudgingly, he managed to get some advice out.

"His power comes from the sun's rays.  He can augment his body with it, and he can shoot blasts like me...although not as varied as mine...he only has one setting.  And it hurts."

"Bad father, huh?"  Gin's father said, looking at Sayuri with disgust.  He cracked his knuckles together, as the orange spheres around his fists seemed to fuse together as he brought them near.  "Do you have any idea...an inkling of how much I've had to sacrifice for my son?"  His eyes became bloodshot, as his entire body seemed to glow orange.  "I GAVE UP EVERYTHING FOR HIM!"

"Leave him alone!"  As Isami prepared to sink his fangs into the man, he would find his teeth not even being able to puncture his skin, but merely bouncing off of the radiating orange aura around him.

"Oh?  A talking snake is going to give me parenting advice."  The man twisted around, throwing a large straight towards Isami's long body, that then turned into a concussive ray of energy as it followed through.  From farther down the street, Gin's father could hear the faint trace of voices farther down the street.  What he saw were three more children about Gin's age.  "I didn't know my son was so popular."  The man smirked.  "He definitely doesn't get that from his mother's side.  This is a family matter, and I won't let mere children interfere!"  The man roared, as he took a step forward, almost bouncing himself to the trio in an instance of orange light.  "Terro's the one who managed to beat my son, right?"  He said menacingly, his eyes glowing orange with ferocity at Terro.  "I'll have to return the favor!"  He roared, as he used his momentum to launch a roundhouse kick towards Terro.

"I WON'T LET YOU!  FUTILE!  FUTILE!  UTTERLY FUTILE!"  Erika shouted, before letting loose a rather large gust of wind that seemed to slow Gin's father down for just a moment.  However, his sheer momentum was enough to keep his kick on course for the most part.

With his chain being tugged by someone so strong, Fix was immediately thrown off balance.

"Honestly I'm probably much more broken than him. If you're gonna 'fix' anyone you might as well start with me."

"That was Fix's plan!"  He seemed to scream at Valerie, using his forward momentum from being pulled towards Valerie to tumble into a somersault.  "Fix can fix any situation fix is in!"  He said, as he clung low to the floor and pulled out a taser from underneath his trench coat.  The flash of many silver objects shone throughout the hallway, as his coat put itself back into place.  He then tasered the metal chain that Valerie had clung onto, sending the current through it.  However, Fix would be unaffected, as he was wearing insulated gloves.  "A little electroshock therapy may Fix you good!  And then the real Fixing can begin!"

Suna stared at the woman for quite some time.  Ichiro and the other 1-B students were safe.  His sand hadn't detected any other presences yet, but he was still sending them throughout the hallways.  As he concentrated on that, the shocking revelation was still rushing through his head.  It was so hard to mull this over and control his sand at the same time.

"I knew that night was a bad idea.  You kinda left me waiting at the alter...figuratively."  He said, smacking the left side of his face while keeping his right eye on Bloodstone.  In an instant, this woman could kill him if she wanted to.

"I had to take advantage of your feelings, Suna.  You wouldn't have let me go otherwise."  Her face was still ice cold, as if she had no feelings for the man whatsoever.  "But that night, Asuka was conceived.  She is yours just as much as she is mine, no matter how much it disgusts me."

"Harsh."  He sighed, rubbing the side of his neck.  "So why tell me now...why not tell me when she was born?"

"Do you think I'm an idiot, Suna?"  She barked.  "If I had told you at any other time, you would've surely taken custody of her, and drilled that hero nonsense into her head."

"Well look what she's doing now.  Looks like your plans didn't turn out the way you wanted, for once."

"Or you might have trapped me again, and brought me into the police.  I wasn't going to let that happen."  She growled, after being interrupted.  She took a deep breath, and sighed.  "However, now that our paths have crossed again due to your encounter with the Quirkless Liberation Front, I figured I might as well let you know.  But it will not change anything.  Her course has already been set."  Bloodstone teased, before winking and placing the mask over her face once again.

"Kokoro wai-"  Suna reached out, sending a stream of sand towards Bloodstone.  However, the woman vanished into a swirling whirlpool of nothingness, and causing the mask to fall to the ground.  "Dammit."  He said, clenching his outstretched hand into a fist, as the wave of sand stopped in it's tracks.  It was then that he felt some strange presence in his hand, prompting him to snap out of his stupor.  He would have to hold onto these new facts, and save them for later.  Right now he had to figure out what his sand was picking up.

Ino watched as Mike made sure to clear the way for them.  It was very brave for the boy to take the lead, since none of them knew what was waiting for them from here to the exit.  Ino and Asuka both hiked Lady Law's heavy frame over their shoulders and started to move with her throughout the hallways.  With Asuka's words of encouragement, the light almost seemed to come to Lady Law's eyes once more, causing her to smile, before quickly fading away again.  She struggled to mouth some words, but even the mouthing was unintelligible.  Ino started to shake again, but there was no time to be afraid...or angry.

"I've probably got a lot to answer for, don't I? I'll explain everything later, anything you want to know. But I need to say right now... I'm sorry for not backing off when we ran into Bloodstone. The corners of Asuka's eyes started to well up with tears.  She could be heard trying to sniffle them away, but in vain.

"You have a lot more to apologize for than just that, Asu."  Ino sniffled, not even so much as looking at Asuka.  "But you can save them for later.  Right now, we have to get Lady Law to safety.  I can call you names later, dummy."

Up farther ahead of Mike, a familiar voice could be heard.

9FOF7MK.jpg

"One, two, Betty's coming for you!  Three, four, you'll be dead on the floor!  Five, six, killing you for the kicks!"  Mike would soon see the acidic hair girl travelling down the hall, using her hair as a jump rope as she got closer to him.  Every time her hair hit the floor, it sizzled to leave a scar in the pavement.  She seemed to not notice him, as her nursery rhyme was using most of her concentration.

"You... Right... Tell me... You one 'a the ones that voted against me, last year?"

Mako lowered down his fist and sighed.  He still gave off his killer vibe, but still seemed calm.

"I never vote against letting students in.  I''ll let anyone who holds the dream and passions of becoming a hero into my school!"  His fist tightened so hard that it sent the air around him in a frenzy.  "But becoming a villain...just because you were rejected for the hero course.  You wouldn't have made it in the first place with that attitude!  If I had any inkling you might'a done somethin' like this, YOU BET YOUR ASS I WOULD'VE REJECTED SOMEONE LIKE YOU!"  His voice began to shake the stands between the two.

"I can do sheet without tha' damn Quirk, AIGHT?" she called to him, as he could see her rage starting to boil over. "I'll PROVE it; I'll tear down every goddamn brick UA's got, what they denied me!"

"And I'll make sure you won't see another brick of U.A.'s from any prison cell, for as long as you live."  Mako said, as his muscles started to bulge.  "But for that, I gotta take you out.  And after that punch you took, it won't take much effort."  He then reeled his fist back, as steam started to lift off of it.  The moisture from his body was boiling from the sheer energy of his muscles.  "However, I'm gonna show you what a TRUE HERO is made of!  Maybe some of it will rub off on you, if I bury my fists deep enough into your noggin!"  Mako reeled his fist back, and immediately started to snap it forward.  The vacuum wave that his fist was now creating was turning into the faint outline of the front view of a large shark's jaws.  "MEGALODON!!!!!!!!! MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS-"  Mako's fist stopped in it's tracks when the screens lit up again to reveal one of his precious students.

"Tha' funk?  Wha' the hell's this about?  Oy Masque; Tha funk is this?"

It seemed the villain didn't know this was part of the plan.  Was she this naive...or did she not believe what the villains were capable of.

"Goto."  Mako said, solemnly.  "GOTO!!!!!!!!!!!"  He screamed, hunching over as he did so.

Down on the field, Lord D. was still exchanging blows with both Wendigo and Gungnir.

"All this fightin' is starting to make me hungry!  Hey Gung, cut off a pinkie would ya, and send it my way?!  GAHAHAHAHA!"

"Shut up, and keep fighting."  Gungnir said, as his solid black fist clashed with Lord D.'s own large fists.  "We can't let up now."

The ominous voice from before began to laugh again, before speaking once more.

"Now that the Quirkless Liberation Front now has your attention, I shall name our demands."

"Are thee not tracking thy enemies whereabouts?!"  Lord D. shouted towards Principal Glory, blocking another punch from Wendigo, but then being taken aback by a punch from an invisible source.

"I'm being told it's impossible to track the signal.  The situation is turning grim, I'm afraid."

"Demand number one.  We request the immediate evacuation of all Heroes and Civilians within a five mile radius of the stadium in the next ten minutes.  Failure to meet our demands..."  The voice creaked, as the camera shook.  It started to inch closer and closer to Goto until their was another faint giggling.  Goto's head was then held up to the lens from his hair.  "And the boy doesn't make it home in one piece tonight.   If you heroes don't want a child's blood on your hands...I'm sure you'll meet our first demand."

Valerie's eyes widened slightly as "Fix" showed some incredible nimbleness. She braced herself as she saw the taser in his hand, expecting him to go after her with it, and was caught off guard when the man simply put the taser to the chain that she still held.

"A little electroshock therapy may Fix you good!  And then the real Fixing can begin!"

Gritting her teeth she felt the electricity leap through her hand and arm. It hurt. She could feel her muscles seizing up and contracting with the electrical shock going through them. And worse she was struggling to move her right hand and let go of the chain.

It really hurt. Hurt like hell.

And it....felt warm. The electrical shock though her body brought with it an incredible warmth. The right side of her body was spasming all the while but her she was much warmer than before. Warm enough that she very well might be able to get back into this fight full force.

Seems what she needed was a little spark.

She couldn't hold back her scream of pain anymore. She let it out. A primal shout as the electricity coursed through her. And then the air heated up. And continued to heat until once again flames erupted around the girl. "FIX THIS!" She shouted. Valerie launched a single blast of flame towards the unstable villain. With barely enough control to avoid shooting it in Casey's direction.

She didn't know how long this burst of heat could last but if she had to she would use every last bit of it to stop this man from hurting anyone else.

As they walked down the street, Terro was quiet. He had no idea what they'd be going against, and he was mentally preparing himself for the tough fight that was sure to come. He took deep breaths to calm him and steady his body... but that was interrupted by Akira.

"Hey, I'm an active duty non-combatant. I don't have much of any fight left in me, but if we're lucky I can keep you idiots in-check." Well, as much as Terro should have been offended, he was pretty used to this school thinking of him as an idiot, so it rolled off his back like water on a duck. "None of us, you included, are at 100% right now, so we need to play this right to stay alive. We don't know what's ahead, but... I don't think it's good. So try to follow my lead, alright Blaster?" Who the hell was Blaster? "Hey, Chatterbox, what's your quirk?"

The girl they have been travelling with looked at Akira with an odd expression, before answering, "I can take in a lot of air, and shoot it out really fast.  If I make a whistle shape with my mouth, it becomes pretty sharp...the air I mean...it can cut things pretty easily.  But If I just have my mouth wide open, I can make really big gusts of wind!"

"That should work well. Quirky, Quirky, Terrifically Quirky." He was talking nonsense now. That hit to the head must have really done a number on him. They finally approached a house to see Gin was also under attack by a strange man, much like Terro was. However, while Terro's seemed to be a random attack by some weird guy who was probably someone Terro defeated in the past that he just couldn't remember, this man seemed to be someone that knew Gin personally, and Gin knew as well.

Terro was quiet, watching the battle, his muscles screaming for him to move, but his mind telling him to hold. Gin was hurt... but if what Nurse Neko said earlier was true... Gin wouldn't want his help. In fact, of all people Gin wanted to see here, he was probably the second to last one, that strange man being first. After all, when the villain attacked him... he felt the same, not wanting Gin to see that...  Akira shook at Terro's shoulder with his left hand, shaking Terro out of his thoughts.

"Now Terro, kick him off his balance!" Akira was taking extra care to be discreet, so he should do the same. Terro got on a knee, placing both hands on the ground, and while gritting his teeth, sent a wave of his power out. However, before he could do anything, he heard a yell from the strange man.

"Terro's the one who managed to beat my son, right?"  He said menacingly, his eyes glowing orange with ferocity at Terro.  "I'll have to return the favor!"  He roared, as he used his momentum to launch a roundhouse kick towards Terro. Terro quickly scrambled back to his feet, but with Akira on his back... he just wasn't going to make--- a sudden gust of wind was conjured, slowing down the strange man. Terro nodded his thanks to Erika as he moved back out of the way of the kick.

He then raised his leg in the air, and much like many other times in the tournament, he slammed it down on the ground... but nothing seemingly happened. "I didn't beat Gin," He said. "When it comes to our quirks, Gin is by far my superior," He then threw a fist in the air, a pillar of earth crashing up out of the ground under Gin's dad. "He showed me more of his power, and got ringed out as a result. But in a straight fight, I would have lost. That's why, I'll keep training, keep pushing myself until I can stand on equal terms with Gin, and the rest of my classmates!"

When Terro had slammed his foot into the ground, a message made from the dirt and grass appeared in front of Sayuri. It was crude, words were misspelled, but it was legible, which was all that counted.

I senced someone inside of the hhouse. I don't know if it's another villain or a sivilian. I'll keep thiss man distracted, go ch ec k it out, if you do n't mind.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! I HAD THIS UNDER CONTRO-"

No you don't. If you hadn't busted up your arms earlier, I'd believe it, but that's not the case. After typing out her message, Sayuri had noticed Gin wasn't taking the phone. Was he okay back there? Sayuri glanced behind her, to see he was just reading it from her hands directly. Fine by her.

"His power comes from the sun's rays. He can augment his body with it, and he can shoot blasts like me...although not as varied as mine...he only has one setting. And it hurts."

Then I just have to not get hit. Speaking of the bad father, Sayuri turned her attention back to him, tucking her phone into the nearest available pocket.

"Bad father, huh?" Sayuri firmly nodded where she stood. In any other circumstance, she would have liked to think he was better once upon a time, but even if he was, that time had probably passed by now. "Do you have any idea...an inkling of how much I've had to sacrifice for my son? I GAVE UP EVERYTHING FOR HIM!"

A sharp exhale sounded from Sayuri's nostrils, teeth now bared at this man who had the audacity to try and justify his actions. The only thing standing between her and him right now was the law. But if he tried to make a move on her, that could change. She'd be able to fight back, and with the backup from Terro, Akira, and that 1-B chatterbox...

Of course, life was rarely so simple. Rather than Sayuri, the villain made his move toward Terro and the other students. Sayuri took a step to help them out, but as she did, she felt something moving beneath her foot. The ground? There isn't an earthquake or anything, so what's the big deal? Sayuri looked at the ground beneath her, seeing a message in the earth. Must have been Terro's doing.

I senced someone inside of the hhouse. I don't know if it's another villain or a sivilian. I'll keep thiss man distracted, go ch ec k it out, if you do n't mind.

His spelling was pretty bad. However, that was something Sayuri could legally do. Hopefully the three students over there - now four with Isami's sudden appearance - had the villain covered. Sayuri turned to face Gin, and squatted down to meet him at eye level. Typing on the phone was weird, and the whiteboard was across the street, and quite possibly broken by her throwing it. The speech device's batteries were still too low, too. She'd have to ask for backup batteries for this thing. Only one option left.

Apparently there's someone in the house. I caught a quick glimpse of them; seemed to be a woman. Any idea who it is?

"I know you're not that dense." Gin groaned, struggling to pick himself up off the ground.

I had a hunch. Just making sure was all. While the others are fighting your father, we should get her out of here.

"As much as I'd like to bring that bastard down...getting her out of here is priority number one..."

Sayuri nodded, standing about halfway up and holding her hands out to help Gin up to his feet. "Tch."  He looked away as his hand struggled to meet hers, shaking like Ino's as it tried. This wasn't getting her anywhere. Squatting back down, Sayuri put her hands beneath Gin's shoulders, pulling as she stood up to get him most of the way back up to his feet. His legs didn't look even remotely as bad as his arms, so surely he'd be able to at least walk on his own. With Gin up and standing again, Sayuri pointed toward the hole in the house and started toward it, signing along the way, but making sure to keep an eye on the villain and his fight.

I didn't want to ask back when I asked you about parents and approval, but after we're out of here, I'd like to know the full story between you and that guy.

"You have a lot more to apologize for than just that, Asu. But you can save them for later. Right now, we have to get Lady Law to safety. I can call you names later, dummy."

"Understood." As the girls continued down the hall, following after Mike, they were eventually met with a sight, shortly after Mike himself had been met with the same encounter. A villain, using her hair as a jumprope as she moved along the hall, making up some morbid take on a nursery rhyme as she went along. The scarred floor beneath her, wherever her hair touched it, wasn't a good sign. That hair would probably dissolve Asuka's crystals if she tried to fight, and she wasn't exactly in a position to make any more than the ones she already had. And Ino, still helping carry Lady Law, wasn't really able to directly confront the villain either. However...

"Ino. If Mike fights this villain, I'll need you to back him up. My crystals won't be able to do much to that girl I think, if anything at all."

Hadley whirled on Mako, furious, holding herself back from running at Mako with another punch at his words. "Shut up, just SHUT UP 'fer a second!" She turned back, looking around her for the familiar masked figure. "Masque? Masque?!?"

No response was forthcoming. Hadley looked wildly between the screen and down to the pocket in her jacket, where she knew the ceramic mask lied. But all was quiet on both fronts. Nothing was asked of her. Nothing was demanded. And yet she felt like everything was from the moment she saw the boy sitting in that chair.

She turned, seeing Mako, hunched over, letting out a scream of anguish and sadness. She hesitated, as his voice echoed inside her head. It echoed in synch with another voice. Her own, much younger. Screaming with anguish much the same.

"I... I'm sorry!" Bawling and desperate, shrill. "I... I din' MEAN 'fer it ta happen... Please! I... I'm sorry!"

A host of screams rose to contest it, all as shrill, all filled with-

She shook her head violently, taking a step back into the rubble. "No, no, no!" she feverishly whispered to herself, raising her arms to clamp the gauntlets over her ears with difficulty. "It's no' like tha,' it's bloody NOT!" She repeated this mantra once or twice, struggling to fight back the rising lump in her throat as her gloves began rattling once again. Her hands inside ached from the constant strain, the continuous vibration that had been building up within the iron all day. "I'm here to STOP tha'. I... I have'ta..."

She slid the headphones over her head once again. It was all she felt she could do. The world around her was closed off, as she was encapsulated by soft sound.

Her feet crunched on the ground, pushing gravel and concrete deeper into the detritus as she slowly walked towards Mako. He had seemed massive a minute ago, a towering colossus of power, but hunched as he was now his head was just below Hadley's own. He looked vulnerable, afraid.

Hadley stopped a foot away from him, looking down at him through bleary eyes. "Ya' heard 'im," she forced out with great difficulty. "Leave. Get out... This is tha' way it has 'ta be," she spat bitterly. "'Fer him, for me... For all 'a us." She turned away, looking down towards the scrap Wendigo was in. It hurt less to look at the violence down there then to meet Mako's gaze. "I.. I'm sorry it has 'ta be," she added on, conviction deflating out of her words like a balloon.

Isami was in shock as his fangs seem to bounce off of the strange man. Adding to the confusion, a group of his fellow schoolmates had jumped into the fray. He didn't have much time to acknowledge them, however, as he felt the fist collide with his body. Before he knew it, he had been blasted with a beam of orange light. The snake let out a pained hiss as he tumbled onto the ground.

As he picked himself up, Isami saw Terro standing in front of Gin's father; the boy had his foot out in a strange way, almost like he just slammed it onto the ground. Isami was hurting, but he wasn't about to give up. Wincing, he slithered back towards Gin's dad as he saw the earth crashing up from underneath the man. "Nicccccce!" Isami couldn't help let out, his eyes locked onto the scene. He waited for the man to make his move, before making his own.

"Now that the Quirkless Liberation Front now has your attention, I shall name our demands. Demand number one. We request the immediate evacuation of all Heroes and Civilians within a five mile radius of the stadium in the next ten minutes. Failure to meet our demands...And the boy doesn't make it home in one piece tonight. If you heroes don't want a child's blood on your hands...I'm sure you'll meet our first demand."

Ichiro felt sick to his stomach. This demand...this...this wasn't good. Ten minutes to basically evacuate the area or Goto wouldn't make it? That was a bit harsh. Then again, this was a villain...go figure.

This...this is just too insane... Ichiro thought, still trying to look around for either his brother or anyone else from 1-A. Nevertheless, he turned towards Kaito and Sayaka and sighed. "...w-we better evacuate. I...I don't think it's a good idea either, but doing what they say i-is gonna ensure your friend stays alive...a-as well as everyone else here." He turned a bit, getting ready to move to head away from the stadium, when he stumbled slightly and lost his balance.

"Hey! Easy lil bro!"

Ichiro felt himself being propped up almost immediately and heard the familiar voice. He looked over to his right side and saw Rei standing there with a small smile. He looked a bit rough for wares, but nothing too much. "R-Rei!"

"Heh, yup. Now c'mon...we better get going."

"R-Right..."

Failure to meet our demands...And the boy doesn't make it home in one piece tonight. If you heroes don't want a child's blood on your hands...I'm sure you'll meet our first demand."

"Bunch of spineless..." Shin said through his gritted teeth. He knew what he wanted to do...he knew what Mako would suggest, but either way...he knew what he HAD to do. "...Aina...let's go."

"S-Shin...Shin we can't leave!" Aina said, looking at Shin, who was already turning around to leave. "G-Goto..."

"Is a little out of our way now!" Shin snapped, his fists clenching. "We have to leave it to the Pros at this point...but for us and the safety of the civilians...we need to get moving now." He glanced over towards Aaron, nodding slightly. "You should try and find your classmates. That...and continuing to help the evacuation process move."

Mike

The evacuation had gone smoothly so far, Mike had yet to encounter any villains and, with the way the signs were leading them, it seemed like they were getting closer and closer to the exit, until...

"One, two, Betty's coming for you!  Three, four, you'll be dead on the floor!  Five, six, killing you for the kicks!"

Mike skidded to a hault and groaned as he we watched the villain moving closer and closer. Her quirk was obvious: her hair-gel-like-hair was acidic and knowing how quirks usually were, and that she was a villain, chances are that it could be controlled. That said, Mike was thankful that the villain had decided that approaching by skip-rope would be her choice, and Mike still had one taser ball left.

Mike discreetly gripped the ball in his hand, keeping an eye on the villain as she approached. As her hair moved into its downward approach, Mike called out, "Hey listen, just dippity-DON'T, okay?" With far more of a smirk than he should have had, and as her hair just passed by her feet mid-jump, Mike moved into a full baseball pitch and threw the ball with a loud, thunderous bang as his explosion of energy fired the ball out like a bullet, aimed right for the girl's stomach.

"You should try and find your classmates. That...and continuing to help the evacuation process move."

"Duly noted. Stay safe you guys- Oh! And I didn't lie about being a pro, he asked for my name, wrote on a piece of paper and continued on his merry way. But later guys!" And with that, Aaron turned back to the stadium and thought of what he could do. First things first, gotta get quick battery charge, and there sure are a lot of abandoned cars in this parking lot. Aaron glanced over a few cars that seem to have a fender-bender when trying to leave, opened their hoods and with his handy taser line proceeded to absorb electricity into his system. And after a few cars or so, he was nearly up to his full charge, but enough to get in, get his things, and get out.

Aaron ran in the opposite direction from where he, Aina and Shin exited from and towards where the monster was, which seemed to have been knocked out. Whoever did it, props to them for taking it out before it got out of hand. First stop, the room where I left stuff, then up to where I left my batons in the wall. But remember to keep an eye out for my class. Who knows where they might be at- In his next turn, he stopped to see Mike, Asuka, and Ino facing with some chick with pink gel-like hair, who was in front of Aaron. It didn't seem that she, or the others, were aware of Aaron's presence as she was concentrated on Mike and them. Aaron kept from view as he prepped one of his tasers for a sneak attack just as Mike threw a ball towards her.

As the two of them approached his house, Sayuri signed towards him.  With them running, it was hard to make out everything she was trying to say, but Gin managed.

I didn't want to ask back when I asked you about parents and approval, but after we're out of here, I'd like to know the full story between you and that guy.

Gin sighed, and nodded.

"I guess I owe you that much, Wolfy."

Meanwhile, Gin's father hadn't realized that the other two had sneaked off.  The Terro kid had managed to step out of range of his kick, and now through a punch into the air.  The swing missed, but a giant pillar of stone was now heaved out of the ground and straight towards him from underneath.  There was no time to destroy the pillar, so he opted to guard.  He placed his arms across his chest, as they lit up with orange light.  The attack crunched into his arms, as it shot him straight into the air.  Once in free fall, some orange energy escaped from his feet, adjusting so that it would put him on balance.  He was hovering in the air now, but he had finally lowered his guard.

"Geez kid.  You could really hurt someone with that Quirk.  Strong.  Versatile.  Hell, it even hurt a little."  He smiled, and rubbed his chin.  His arms seemed to be rather scuffed from the attack.  "How's about you join my Heroes Agency?  Once it opens up overseas, that is."

Inside the house, Gin's mother was still sitting lifelessly on the couch where they had left her.  Gin struggled, but he managed to get ahead of Sayuri, and plant himself on his knees in front of his mother.

"Mom!  C'mon!  We gotta get out of here!"  He whimpered.  His mother just stared blankly ahead for a moment, then turned her head towards him.

"We should wait for your father!  He'll be home any moment!  I know it."

Gin's fist rumbled around at the statement.

"Mom...that guy...he's not the guy you thought you knew.  He's a bad guy.  A villain!"

"That doesn't sound like my husband."  She said, dumbfounded.  "My husband makes sure my family is safe and sound!"

"I'm not getting through to her..."  Gin said, angrily.  At this point, He struggled to not have Sayuri try and knock the woman out, for her own good.  He could never bring himself to the task.  Instead, with as much pain as he could handle, he grabbed his mother's wrist, and yanked her from the couch.  He prompted for Sayuri to follow, as he made his way towards the hole once again.

Ah...yes...the fixing was going all according to plan!  She was sure to be fixed in no time.  But something was awry...something not going right.  Was it getting warmer in here?  Sure enough, a fire erupted from his target.  He looked on at the display of her Quirk, almost in awe of such a power.

"FIX THIS!"  She opted to yell, shooting a large amount of flames in his direction.  He shielded himself with his coat, only for it to catch fire.  Fix looked visibly distressed, as he ran around in circles for a bit, only to ditch the trench coat entirely.  He made sure to keep his back towards Valerie.  His breathing was sporadic.  On his body were multiple devices, knives, and various other tools.  He turned his head around, with his pupils visibly shaking through the eye holes of his mask.

"Now I have to fix my coat.  Yes...fix it...so this never happens again."  He stomped the fires that lingered on the fringes of the coat, and then picked it up.  "Th-th-they were right.  You heroes do need fixing."  After the statement, Fix ran off in a hurry, trying to get deeper into the stadium.

It seemed that another villain was headed their way.

"Mike!  I thought you said you were gonna scout ahead!!"  She hollered from behind.  The villain's hair seemed to be what they all needed to avoid.  However, Mike was already on the offensive, shooting a ball at the villain.

"Ino. If Mike fights this villain, I'll need you to back him up. My crystals won't be able to do much to that girl I think, if anything at all."

"And what do you think I'm gonna be able to do?!"  Ino said, almost whining.

With the ball whirring through the air, the villain had no time to anticipate it, what with their lackadaisical attitude.  The ball made contact with her abdomen at a high speed, knocking the wind out of her, and simultaneously giving her a nice shock at the same time.  The villain crumbled to her knees, before she finally looked at the four of them.  Her mouth was still agate, as she tried to gasp for air, but couldn't utter a single thing.  Instead, her hair suddenly lashed out as if it had a mind of it's own.  Ino quickly leaped out in front of Mike, only to vibrate intensely.  She placed her hands on the ground, as she sent shock waves out in front of her, and towards the walls and roof.  With the already unstable infrastructure, the ceiling above them started to cave in, blocking off the Villain's attack.  Ino looked back, huffing, towards Asuka.

"I figured out what I could do!"  She then turned to Mike as she stood back up.  "Good job to you too, Mr. Scout."  She teased, before going back to Asuka to help her carry Lady Law.  As she did, their hallway began to rumble once more.  "Uh...that one wasn't me..."  She said nervously.  "Maybe we should put the pedal to the metal."  Taking the lead, they rounded another corner and headed for another exit.

"Ya' heard 'im.  Leave. Get out... This is tha' way it has 'ta be," she spat bitterly. "'Fer him, for me... For all 'a us.  I.. I'm sorry it has 'ta be."

Mako looked at the girl, with his eyes ablaze with fury.

"It didn't have to be."  He growled.  Turning his back towards her.  "If I ever see you again, face-ta'-face...I'll bring you in."  He then ran down the stairs in a hurry towards the exits, picking up some straggling survivors as he made his way, to their uncertainty.  Meanwhile, on the ground level, Gungnir and Wendigo were still wailing on Lord D.

"It'd be a shame if you weren't to make it out in time, Lordy!"  Wendigo laughed.  "It'd make you look like quite the number 2 hero, letting that kid get killed!  GAHAHAHA!!"  Lord D. struggled to keep his composure, as his wings lifted up to take flight, while simultaneously blocking blows from the two villains.  As soon as he lifted off the ground, Wendigo gripped onto his leg with might and slammed him back down to the ground.  "Where are you going, Lordy?  We ain't done with you ye-"

"OMEGA!!!!!!!!"  A voice roared out from the sky.

"sheet."

"IMPACT!!!!!!!!!!!"  The ground shattered beside Gungnir, as Wendigo vanished deep into the earth.  From the large crater, Omega Star floated to meet Lord D., who still lay prone on the ground.  "Well...are you gonna get out of here, or am I going to have to carry you?"

"No need, Omega Star."  Lord D. said, rising back towards his feet, and flapping his wings to make him airborne.  "I had this all under control."  Smoke seemed to blow out of the nostrils in his helmet.  He swooped behind Gungnir to grab the unconscious Tempest, before shooting off into the sky.  Before doing the same, Omega Star made eye contact with Gungnir.

"You can't arrest us...or they'll kill the boy."  He stated boldly.

"Don't worry.  We'll find your little base of operations.  And when we do...we're coming back."  Then, as quickly as she had arrived, she vanished in a sonic boom.  From the crater, Gungnir could hear a faint cackling.  He looked down the hole to see a mangled, and bloodied Wendigo.

"Ain't she a peach."  He laughed again, only to reach for Gungnir, who was a good ten feet above him.  "Hey, pal...mind fetching me my leftovers?"

As Valerie watched the flames lick at the villain's clothes, watched him panic, her throat constricted. Her eyes burned. No, no, this wasn't then, this was different. It wasn't the same at all.

She snapped out of it in time to hear him say that she needed to be fixed and running off.

There was still adrenaline pumping though her. And the flames were surrounding her body, not as much as during the tournament, while she stood there for a moment unsure what to do with herself.

Then she noticed Casey again. Laying on the ground. She hesitantly, worried that the flames might hurt him, crouched down beside him. The villain's words echoed in her head.

"You heroes do need fixing."

"Don't have to tell me that." she muttered to herself as she checked to see how Casey was doing. Then, when he didn't seem to be waking up, she lifted him up. While apologizing for how hot it was about to get for him.

Her muscles protested. Having just experienced an intense shock, after fighting for so long earlier, she could feel her muscles burning just as much as her Quirk. She didn't know if she could keep this going for long, both her Quirk and her body, but she did know she had to get Casey to the nurse.

She wanted to chase the villain down. Not going after him made her feel physically ill. He was right THERE. And she wasn't doing anything about it. Maybe if she was a bit stronger...

Unfortunately she couldn't just abandon Casey when he was injured. He was her responsibility after all.

But if that "Fix" hurt anyone else...

Hadley could only fleetingly meet Mako's gaze as he threatened her. She took a deep, shuddering breath. She was trying to regain her composure. It wasn't working very well. She shrugged a shoulder, once each, to push the headphones back up over her ears.

"Fair enough," she managed, barely able to hear her quiet voice through the guitar seeping through her earphones. They had miraculously remained undamaged in the tumble she had taken, barring a lot of scuffs, surface problems, nothing internal. She watched Mako run down the stands, taking deep, difficult breaths.

"It DOES have 'ta be, tho," she said fervently, turning and looking back down into the arena. She saw Omega Star slam into the stadium, and a brief moment of terror coursed through her before she realized she was only here to evacuate Lord D. The terror turned into something else. Something relieving.

"Omega Star... she's LEAVING." The number one hero was leaving. As was the number two. It had WORKED.

She felt electric tingles move through her body at the monumentality of this. It's workin', she thought to herself feverishly. We can CHANGE tha' shite. She caught sight of Goto on the screen again, quickly turning her head away. NO! It... It's fine. It's all... fine.

- - - - - - -

"Tha' funk you on about?!"

Hadley started venting every frustration of the last few hours at once into a flood of words as she closed the gap on the arena floor between her, Gungnir, and Wendigo, skirting around the unconscious body of Rex as she stormed up to the pair. She jabbed at Wendigo with a gauntlet in lieu of pointing at him, yelling up at the hulking beast of a man as if he were a mere child.

"Good job keepin' tha pros busy, ya dumb shite! Ya see this?" She pointed at the blood that was crusting above her eyebrow, and the multitude of cuts and bruises she had accumulated recently. "Bloody MAKO, takin' a shot a' me... funk were YOU, then?" She turned, pacing back and forth as she barked out, "Fuckin' Rex is down, who tha funk knows where tha 'ell Shiki is... The funk is Masque?" she demanded, whipping around to Gungnir. "Tha funk do we do now? We got one a' them, how long's he gonna last us 'fore Omega Star says 'fuckit' and kicks yer ass some more?"

A little voice in the back of her head was still speaking, regardless of her current yelling, and the expression on Hadley's face betrayed that thought: But wha' if it WORKS?

Mike

Mike's attack had hit, but this was as far as he had thought for his plan. Confirming his earlier suspicions, the girl was, indeed, capable of controlling her hair completely and lashed out with a few globby strands. Ino leaped forward and planted herself on the floor between the two, and vibrated so intensely the ceiling above them  caved in, closing off that path entirely.

"Well there goes the fastest way out, but not like we could've gone by without getting hurt," Mike muttered quietly to himself.

"I figured out what I could do!" Ino announced, bouncing back to her feet. "Good job to you too, Mr. Scout."

"Wh-what?"

Ino moved back to Asuka to help with Lady Law when the entire hallway began to shudder. "Uh... that one wasn't me..." She said nervously. "Maybe we should put the pedal to the metal."

Mike nodded and they continued down another hallway. Between the fires and the various other attacks ravaging the structure, it was a miracle the arena was standing as it was at all, but now wasn't the time to jinx their luck when they were stuck taking the longer way out. Mike pushed himself to keep running, but as they would continue down towards stairs, his pace would noticeably and significantly slow down, the green lights emitting from his jets dimming ever so slightly the more time he spent running ahead.

Akira watched as the villain protected himself almost completely from Terro’s attack, launching himself up high into the air, where he used his quirk to stabilize his flight. That defense is too quick for Terro to get around. We need a new strategy. Looking around as quickly as he could, Akira scanned the battlefield in an attempt to find some form of advantage against Gin’s father, but their options were few. Emerging from the building Gin had been launched from, he caught a glimpse of both Gin and the dog girl, as they practically were dragging a woman from the house. This scenario was no longer one of basic combat; it had just become an escort mission. “The rules changed.”

With the new development in the mission, Akira looked back up to the villain. He was no longer shielded. His arms were a bit beat up, and he had a large burn across his chest. The defense was good, but definitely not insurmountable. Akira took a deep breath, before reaching forward with his land hand, beginning to untie himself from Terro's back. "Terro, 1-B," now was not the time to bother learning names, "his shield can only take so much before it has to recharge, and even at full strength it looks like it's not insurmountable. We need to act quick, so once the opportunity presents itself, attack with everything you can." His voice was calm, resolved. Far more confident than what one would expect from someone in as poor condition as he was.

The knot now undone, Akira pushed himself off of Terro's back to stand on his own. The moment his feet hit the ground, he stumbled a bit, his broken leg nowhere near being able to support weight. He reached out with his left hand, grabbing ahold of a street sign for support. His right hand remained clenched at his side as he looked into the sky to address the villain. “If you saw Gin defeat himself against this idiot here, I imagine you got a look at my quirk as well.” He gulped visibly, pushing down the fear residing in the pit of his stomach; now was not the time to falter. “But yours, yours is pretty lame. Some half-assed armor, glowing fists, and a weak excuse for flight." Though faint, Akira's eyes glowed gold to match his opponent's orange. "You are even weaker than Gin."

"What the hell do you think you can do to stand a chance against me?"

Isami got close to Gin's father when he suddenly shot up into the sky. Drats, Isami thought. There wasn't much else he could do from where he was. If only he had his sister's quirk...

Isami turned back to his human form, rubbing the area that he had been hit by orange beam. It was still aching a bit, and his back was a bit bruised up from the tumbling. He made his way towards his classmates as he stared at the man in the sky. Akira still looked pretty out of shape, having to lean on a street sign to support himself.

Isami made his way towards Terro and Erika while Akira was making his speech. "So... what's the plan?" He asked, unsure of what to do.

"And what do you think I'm gonna be able to do?!"

"Your Quirk is really potent. For instance..." Before Asuka had the time to finish that sentence, however, Mike was already on the move, throwing one of those taser balls at the villain.

"Hey listen, just dippity-DON'T, okay?"

As the ball hit the villain, knocking her to her knees, Ino leapt forward as the villain moved to attack, creating shockwaves through the floor and walls, and causing the already-unstable building to collapse between the students and the pink-haired villain that had attacked them. For instance, something like that.

"I figured out what I could do! Good job to you too, Mr. Scout."

Ino then returned to helping Asuka carry lady Law, but the hallway rumbled once again. Ino claimed it wasn't her. It made sense. With all the chaos and destruction that had started not long ago at all, Asuka would have had a hard time believing that the building wouldn't start falling apart in some places.

"Maybe we should put the pedal to the metal."

"Definitely." The group rounded a nearby corner, changing course for another nearby exit.

After a bit more escorting, the group finally made their way to Nurse Neko. Others, hero, civilian, or otherwise, were also gathered at the scene, some to heal their injuries, and others to protect or escort civilians out of here. Asuka was here to escort a hero to get some treatment, and hope that it would be enough to heal her voice. As the students approached Nurse Neko, Asuka started letting Lady Law down gently, looking to the school nurse with pleading eyes.

"Her voice box was damaged in an encounter with Bloodstone. Please, fix her."

"I guess I owe you that much, Wolfy."

Once inside the house - being lucky enough to avoid the attention of Gin's father - Sayuri was met with his mother. Sitting there like an empty husk of a woman. In a stark contrast to the enraging sight of his father, the only thing that really came to mind seeing her, and taking her family situation into account, was pity. It must have been tough having somebody like that as the guy you made a baby with.

"Mom! C'mon! We gotta get out of here!"

"We should wait for your father! He'll be home any moment! I know it."

"Mom...that guy...he's not the guy you thought you knew. He's a bad guy. A villain!"

"That doesn't sound like my husband. My husband makes sure my family is safe and sound!"

"I'm not getting through to her..."

Delusional. Sayuri had heard of denial of this level before, but never expected to witness it. It made her want to knock the woman out, but Gin probably wouldn't take too kindly to that. Instead, with a deep breath followed by a sharp exhale, she followed Gin's lead back toward the hole in the wall. This is another one of those times I wish I was born with telepathy instead of wolf traits. So that I could see just what this lady's thinking, and give her the truth directly. As she stepped out of the house, Sayuri made a quick stop to pick up her whiteboard from the floor. Part of the frame was busted. She'd definitely need to get a new one later today.

I'm learning a lot about why you're the way you are today. Shame it's in these circumstances.

Once she'd written that down, she held the whiteboard up, pointing it at Gin as she looked over at the fight going on between her classmates and Gin's bad father. On more than just the legal level, this was probably beyond her power right now. Besides, with Gin's arms the way they were, he'd be in trouble if he bumped into some thug looking for trouble. It's better if I stick with him, for his sake.

Terro gritted his teeth as he saw that his opponent managed to completely block his attack. It seemed this wasn't going to be easy at all. He felt Akira untie himself from his back, so Terro slipped back into his stance, ready to fight.

"Sorry, but I don't think I could learn a whole new language. I barely keep up with my studies as is," Terro commented. While it was what he heard people refer to as a 'quip', it was the honest truth as well... he probably needed someone to help him with his schoolwork.

"Terro, 1-B, his shield can only take so much before it has to recharge, and even at full strength it looks like it's not insurmountable. We need to act quick, so once the opportunity presents itself, attack with everything you can." His voice was calm, resolved. Far more confident than what one would expect from someone in as poor condition as he was. This was a very poor idea. As Akira continued to monologue, Terro got ready, rocks floating in the air around him to be used as ammo.

"I'm not sure exactly what's going on, but I know Gin doesn't like you, and I know I don't want Gin to leave. So I'll fight ya with all I got!" Terro supplied at the end of Akira's boast.

As they were escorting his mom through the street, Sayuri felt the need to shove that damn whiteboard in front of his face.

I'm learning a lot about why you're the way you are today. Shame it's in these circumstances.

"And I'm learning that you're an idiot!  Stop wasting time and hurry up!"  He whispered, rather hoarse.  He had to add the anger without so much the volume, as to not alert his father about what was going on.  Looking back towards the fight, he could see that the three of his classmates, and that talkative chick, were all facing his father down without so much as batting an eye.  "Idiots."  He said under his breath.  Even that sunglasses bastard was trying his hardest to stand up in the midst of all this.  He turned away, walking with Sayuri as quickly as possible.  "We have to get her to a Hero Office...she can't stay at that place any longer."

Back at the fight, Mr. Otoma was still levitating in the air, waiting for an answer.

"Sorry, but I don't think I could learn a whole new language. I barely keep up with my studies as is."

"All that strength, but dumb as a rock to boot?  Man they let anyone into U.A. these days huh?"  He laughed for a bit, before the witnessing the boy strapped to Terro's back land on the floor shakily.  He gripped the pole that resided on the street, before smiling.  "You okay there buddy?  Do I need to call an ambulance?"

“If you saw Gin defeat himself against this idiot here, I imagine you got a look at my quirk as well.”

"Oh?  Now that you mention it."  He scratched the top of his head.  "Which one were you again?  I kinda lost interest after watching my son."

“But yours, yours is pretty lame. Some half-assed armor, glowing fists, and a weak excuse for flight." The boy's eyes started to glow a radiant gold. "You are even weaker than Gin."  The statement made his calm smile to rapidly shift into one of hilarity.  "What the hell do you think you can do to stand a chance against me?"  Gin's father couldn't contain his laughter, as he held his stomach with one hand, and held up the other in front of him.  After a couple of seconds, he took a deep breath.

"Is that your attempt at goading me?  Saying that my son is stronger than me."  Gin's father spread his arms out wide, with the sunset shining behind him.  An intense orange aura flared around him, bursting fourth.  "Good!  That's really good That's great!  I couldn't be happier as his father! Hahahahahaha!  It'd be a shame if I passed down my genes to make an inferior quirk, don't you think?"  Mr. Otoma decided now was the time to descend, touching down on the ground with one foot, and leading with the rest of his weight.  "I'd prefer not to kill kids...which is why I gave you the option to join me.  That goes for all of you.  I'll need sidekicks when I open that office.  But seriously...it's like you want me to fight you."  He placed his hand on his forehead, and pushed up his hair.  "It's like you're already playing hero!  Trying to give someone some time to escape!  Like we all haven't done that before?"  And then his face shifted into something serious.  "Or is it that you really want to test yourself against one of the pros?"

"Oh there you are honey!  Gin's home!  Should I start din-"

Gin placed his hand over his mother's mouth, with more pain stirring in his arms.  There was no doubt now.

"Oh.  So that's what you were up to."  He could be heard, as his eyes lit up with rage.

After travelling through the winding halls of the stadium, they had finally found an exit.  There was a streamline of evacuees being escorted from their homes, and farther off in the distance were the emergency staff.  Among them was Nurse Neko.  Ino's stomach knotted up as they approached her.  A stretcher was available, and the girls both placed Lady Law down onto it.  Asuka informed Nurse Neko about what had happened.  Watching her shock at all of the revelations was unsettling.

"Her voice box was damaged in an encounter with Bloodstone. Please, fix her."

"This kind of injury..." Nurse Neko said, sticking two claws into Lady Law's jugular vein.  "They usually don't heal without scarring...It'll probably take multiple treatments, and delicate surgeries...but I'll see what I can do."  She removed her claws from Lady Law's neck, only to stand up and flag down some other emergency workers.  "We've got a pro hero down over here!  Take her to the hospital along with Tempest!  She's in critical condition."

Ino watched as the staff whisked both heroes into an ambulance, and rushed off down the heavily crowded streets.  Nurse Neko then turned her attention back towards the others.

"Alright, now it's time to get all three of you out of here!  Follow the crowds, and make it to the safe zone.  It'll be a while, but we have time."  She nodded her head, but Ino couldn't help but see a trace of worry in her eyes.  Ino nodded in return before following the heroes instructions.

"Come on guys...I think I'm done for the day."

As they traveled with the crowd, Ino kept her distance from the other two.  She clutched at both of her arms, looking like she was on the brink of sobbing uncontrollably.  She looked back towards them, with that look on her face, and asked the question she had been thinking for a while now.

"Is that all we could do?"

"Tha' funk you on about?!"

One of the younger girls who had been recruited ran up to Wendigo, slamming that big metal gauntlet into his side.

"YEOW!"  He yelped, wincing as he started clutching the spot.  "Quit it!  I'm still tender from all my healing! Gahaha!"

"Good job keepin' tha pros busy, ya dumb shite! Ya see this?" The girl pointed towards a scrape, causing the two other villains to smirk."Bloody MAKO, takin' a shot a' me... funk were YOU, then?"

"Getting pummeled by the top heroes."  Wendigo snarled.  "They aren't heroes you can just ignore."  Wendigo collapsed, as his rear end smashed the ground below him.  "I just wish that chick would kill me already...she's had two chances."  He looked up to the sky, hoping she'd fly in again.  "But I think she's missed 'em all now."  He said, as he clutched his fist in the air, causing the air around all of them to reverberate.

"Fuckin' Rex is down, who tha funk knows where tha 'ell Shiki is... The funk is Masque?"

"Ah...I'm sorry."

HlFD1hX.jpg?1

From the sky, she floated down to meet all of them.  She landed gracefully, while letting her hood down.

"I wasn't able to respond to you earlier, because I was telling all the convicts who successfully escaped where to go.  They should be arriving any time now."  She then shed a couple of masks from her face, and gleefully passed them out.  "Just in case any of you went and broke them."  Wendigo popped up, as he looked underneath his body to realize he had just shattered his.  However, he rolled back over it to make sure no one noticed.

"Tha funk do we do now? We got one a' them, how long's he gonna last us 'fore Omega Star says 'fuckit' and kicks yer ass some more?"

"Hey, kid.  Pipe down already, won't you."

Walking up towards the arena would be someone Hadley had yet to meet.

lSrjYyw.jpg?1

"The boss man has a plan."  He said, rolling his shoulder.  "We have the other hostage after we release this one, so why don't you mind your matters, and start talking like a grown up."  His hand lit up with a sickly gray energy.  "Before I just scatter you into ashes."

"Ah take it easy on her, Zuzu.  She's new!  And hell, she took a punch from Grimjaw!"

Zuzu's eyebrow peaked in interest, before turning around to yell at Wendigo.

"DID YOU JUST SAY MY NAME!?  I'LL KILL YOU TOO!"  He turned back to Hadley, lowering his voice.  "So you're strong after all.  Well, it's not like we can't teach you manners."  He turned to all four of them that had gathered in the arena.  "Boss man isn't coming.  Says that'd be too dangerous to expose himself to the watchful eye of heroes.  I don't blame 'em.  This place is probably under immediate surveillance."

"Ain't you glad we didn't have to go with Plan B, and use you as a bomb again?"  Wendigo said, slapping his knee.  "I just love watching you explode!"

"Again?"  He questioned.  "I have never blown up...why do you always say that?"

Wendigo leaned into Hadley to whisper.

"Every time he blows up, he loses his memory.  It's hilarious."

After a while, a bunch of murmuring could be heard coming from the halls of the stadium.  People in prisoner outfits had all gathered on the outskirts of the ring.  Gungnir couldn't help but sigh, but Wendigo and Zuzu were rather pleased.  Masque showed neither emotion, and watched as they all began to cheer the villains in the center.  Zuzu took the opportunity to flaunt himself out towards all the oncoming villains.

"WELCOME, MY FRIENDS, TO STARKILLER CITY!!!"

"Oh crap!" Aaron backed away from where Mike and they were to both avoid a fight that probably didn't need his help with, and to take a different detour as he felt and heard the rumbles and sounds of failing infrastructure.

I sure hope they make it out safely. I should make it out as soon as possible, and out of sight. Aaron kept to the back walls of the building away from the stands as he continued up the stairs just as another vibration was felt, but not powerful enough to break the stadium up more than it is right now. He reached the room with his stuff in no time, quickly grabbed his belongings, then proceeded to grab the batons he left. Nevertheless, shouldn't take too long since they were a hope, skip, and jump away, literally, as Aaron climbed back up the fallen debris to his cemented weapons. Taking this moment, he took out his phone and took a few pics of the stadium as things seem to have calmed down. No intense fighting, no giant lizard wrecking havoc, and breathing fire, and no sign of villains for- "Wait, who are they?" Looking down near the center of the arena was a small group of people that couldn't be recognized from Aaron's current position. "I should get out before I get noticed. . . or get in a little closer and see who's who."

Aaron jumped a few stories down as he got closer to the edges of the second-tier stands to get a better look. Doing his best to keep out of sight, he whipped out his phone and started to record whoever these people were. Right off the bat, he recognized Hadley, the mask lady, "Suna arm eater", and. . . the grey guy that died at Kashyyyk?! He lived?! If that was a surprise, a huge mass of people dressed in prison garb came flooding into the arena from the levels below. Time to go! Aaron snuck up the stairs and ran back towards the exit from whence he came.

As he came down the flight of stair and down the hall, it started to become abnormally warm to eventually really hot, as it could only mean one thing He saw Val around the bend as she was carrying someone with her. "Hey! Val! We gotta get out of here! There are prisoners, villains, and maybe a nuclear bomb in the arena!"
