Considering slots, these are all likely to be in Collector's Pack 2017, which makes discussing them worthwhile.

Minotaur just fills niches out the ass, with minor battle stuff that actually can come up.

Dissolver blowing itself up for a Fusion effect makes it really synergetic, and the fact it can drop itself from hand for cheap damage + MP2 fusing into SKSD Starving Venom/Vortex without using your PSummon for it is pretty nice. It's super convoluted/doesn't work how YGO works exactly at the moment, so just hoping it doesn't get murdered.

psure priest and synchron are mediocre to bad, but depends on what priest really does and how they nerf/buff synchron.

POE Synchron may be the most searchable monster ever designed, and that makes it quite easy to work with.

it's not

it's second to minotaur

Zoo

Tenki

Performapal

Odd-Eyes

vs.

DARK Spellcaster (less generic than Zoo)

Tuning

Performapal

Odd-Eyes

both are sangan targets

I guess Synchron has Witch, but that still feels like it loses out to Broadbull + Tenki.

Anyone think that Synchron and Dissolver are gonna SS the card in the Pendulum Zone before Synching/Fusing? It would probably be the way to implement their effects in-game. With that said, are there any Pendulums that could take advantage of this?

You can already do Dissolver's effect with pendulum fusion, so...
