Link 2 - Warrior-Type Monsters - Min. 2

Must be Link Summoned and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. When this card is Link Summoned, you can target 1 Level 4 or lower Warrior-Type Monster in your graveyard: Special Summon the targeted card to your side of the field in one of this cards Linked Zones with its effects negated, then, increase this cards ATK equal to halve of the summoned monsters ATK. Increase the ATK of monsters linked to this card equal to the difference between this cards current ATK and original ATK.

ATK/1600 LINK-2

So Proto Knight is a tech Warrior support Link 2 Monster which can revive a low level Warrior so it can gain ATK and it also can provide ATK back to monsters linked to it based on the difference to its current ATK and its original ATK.

Really solid card, IMO. With the revival effect it already pays off the -1 for its Link Summon. 2 markers towards your Zones are welcomed for extending on Extra Deck plays.

If you are running Level4 Warriors on the higher end of ATK spectrum, this will be gaining an average of 800~1000 ATK, a really good number that makes it go beyond the average ATK of Link2 monsters revealed so far, which is 1900~2000; then it gets to share the ATK boost for fellow linked monsters, cool.

Or you can use it plus the revived Warrior to ladder into a Link3 right away. Or just use the revived monster for the Link Summon of another monster and place it on this card's linked Zone so it gains the ATK boost.

I can already see this doing stuff in HEROes by bringing Mist back, while gaining a decent +500 ATK from it. Also in Goukis.

Hold on... the revival effect has no hard OPT nor anything, so you could Summon multiples in a turn for combos and even loop them into each other, since Link2s can also be treated a 1 material for another Link2 too. Yeah... that makes the card prone to abuse as you can simply use copy #1 of this + revived Warrior to Link Summon copy #2, and repeat for #3. Better to put the hard OPT there, IMO.

Just to note the summoned monster goes to its linked zone meaning Proto Knight is summoned to a Main Zone it cannot use its effect Summoning abuse from this isn't possible.
