[spoiler= Prompt]

Jurassic Dragon

Primitive, powerful, and downright terrifying, Jurassic Dragons take pointers from late DM/early GX on making a Deck work almost regardless of the Extra Deck. You toss out big frickin' dragons at every opportunity, ignoring the backrow and barely touching the ED. It's essentially a cluster almost entirely made up of bosses, with a wide variety of ways to get field presence: CyDra clauses, optional Tribute skip, Chaos-esque Summoning conditions, equivalents to Mali, Faultroll and Meklord Emperors . . . and then, of course, you use the big monsters you just tossed out to beat face, and occasionally use some simple removal effects. They occasionally have mild protection, but in the end you have no real reason for it. Their effects generally amount to additional ways to build field presence (via Dr. Red, Divine Dragon Felgrand, and Batteryman Charger style effects), or ways to get damage dealt stupid fast (DRXD, Dreadmaster, multiple-attacking, Guardian Baou-style effects) . . . and their concise ED is composed of improved wannabes of the most powerful DM and GX era monsters- CED, Gyzarus, and even a Rainbow Neos clone! However, your only in-archetype consistency cards are a Destiny Draw-esque card, a Field Spell halfway between Malefic World and Geartown, and a counterpart to Tuning . . . so either you open well or you die.

For now, I'd like to see if the weird "card comments" thing I did with Spiritrinkets a few months ago (holy hell, it's been that long?) might work out for me.

[spoiler=Main Deck Monsters]

Jurassic Dragon - Armored Egg

FIRE - Level 1 - Dragon/Effect - 200/200

If this monster is destroyed (by battle or card effect), you can Special Summon 1 "Jurassic Dragon" monster with 2000 or less DEF from your Deck in face-up Defense Position. You can Tribute this face-up monster to Special Summon 1 Level 8 or lower "Jurassic Dragon" monster from your hand.

Basically, this thing carries some Pyramid Turtle floating to grab some of your bigger monsters from the Deck if necessary, and acts as a Kaibaman or Black Dragon Chick to get you some big field presence.

Jurassic Dragon - Vigilant Hatchling

WIND - Level 2 - Dragon/Effect - 800/400

If this monster is attacked: You can Special Summon 1 "Jurassic Dragon" monster from your hand or Graveyard, and if you do, the Summoned monster becomes the new attack target. Your opponent cannot skip their Battle Phase, or activate effects that would make them skip their Battle Phase. If this monster is destroyed by battle, draw 1 card.

More ways to build up field presence in case you get clogged, borrowing Decoy Dragon's effect.

Jurassic Dragon - Young Wyvern

DARK - Level 4 - Dragon/Effect - 1700/1100

You can Tribute this face-up monster that did not battle this turn to Special Summon 1 "Jurassic Dragon" monster from your Deck, but a monster Summoned by this effect cannot attack this turn. During the End Phase, you can send this face-up card to the Graveyard to Special Summon 1 "Jurassic Dragon" monster from your Graveyard.

Again, more easy field presence. Why? Because the rest of the archetype from this point on is Level 5 and up.

Jurassic Dragon - Scouting Predator

LIGHT - Level 5 - Dragon/Effect - 1800/1500

If this monster is Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 "Jurassic Dragon" monster from your hand or Deck. This monster gains 300 ATK for every "Jurassic Dragon" monster you control.

Literally just a Jurassic Dragon version of Batteryman Charger, but that's a decent card, so . . .

Jurassic Dragon - Egg Eater

WATER - Level 5 - Dragon/Effect - 2200/2000

If you control no monsters, you can Special Summon this monster from your hand. If this monster destroys your opponent's monster by battle, inflict 500 damage to your opponent.

Short, sweet, and simple. I almost miss effects like this.

Jurassic Dragon - Cruel Jaws

DARK - Level 6 - Dragon/Effect - 1600/1200

"Jurassic Dragon" monsters you control gain 400 ATK and DEF. If this monster destroys your opponent's monster by battle, increase this monster's ATK by 400, also that destroyed monster's effects cannot be activated in the Graveyard. You can banish this card from your Graveyard: Special Summon 1 "Jurassic Dragon - Cruel Jaws" from your hand or Deck.

Mali and Baou in the same card? Don't mind if I do! This is meant to be your low-level boss, picking up power as it goes to crush resistance.

Jurassic Dragon - Split Wings

EARTH - Level 6 - Dragon/Effect - 2100/1700

If you control 2 or more "Jurassic Dragon" monsters, you can Special Summon this monster from your hand. Your opponent cannot select other "Jurassic Dragon" monsters you control as an attack target.

Valkyria lock was such a fun Deck . . . and now Jurassic Dragons can do their own equivalent. And the typical response to such a lock leads into our next member . . .

Jurassic Dragon - Vengeful Mother

FIRE - Level 6 - Dragon/Effect - 2200/2200

If a face-up "Jurassic Dragon" monster(s) you control is destroyed by a card effect, you can Special Summon this monster from your hand, and if you do, discard 1 card at random from your opponent's hand: If the discarded card is a Monster Card, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the discarded monster's ATK. Once per turn, you can destroy the monster your opponent controls with the highest DEF (your choice, if tied).

Welcome to the threshold of cards that would likely have been banned in the DM/GX era! Essentially, I wanted to give you a real reward for actually Summoning it via its effect.

Jurassic Dragon - Diamond Maw

EARTH - Level 7 - Dragon/Effect - 2400/2000

If this monster is sent directly from your hand or Deck to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon this monster from the Graveyard. If this monster attacks or is attacked, the opposing monster loses 800 ATK and DEF during the Damage Step only.

An inverse battle booster! Yay!

Jurassic Dragon - Biting Edge

WIND - Level 7 - Dragon/Effect - 2600/1800

If your opponent controls a face-up monster with 2000 or more ATK and/or DEF, you can Normal Summon this monster without Tributing. This monster inflicts piercing Battle Damage.

Because as long as we're doing parallels to DM/GX, we need something that only exists to have piercing.

Jurassic Dragon - Rampage Dracosaurus

FIRE - Level 7 - Dragon/Effect - 2700/2100

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. If there are exactly 3 "Jurassic Dragon" monsters in your Graveyard, you can Special Summon this monster from your hand. You can banish 1 "Jurassic Dragon" card from your Graveyard to target 1 card your opponent controls: Destroy that target.

Oh hai DAD. Let's make everything go boom.

Jurassic Dragon - Quad Wing

WIND - Level 8 - Dragon/Effect - 1000/1000

If a Field Spell Card on the field is destroyed, you can Special Summon this monster from your hand, and if you do, destroy all other monsters on the field, then Special Summon 2 "Jurassic Dragon" monsters from your Graveyard in Defense Position. This monster gains ATK and DEF equal to half the original ATK and DEF of all other "Jurassic Dragon" monsters you control. If this monster battles, your opponent cannot activate Spell/Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step.

Dreadmaster with an Ancient Gear clause! Raw power made manifest!

Jurassic Dragon - Deepsea Terror

WATER - Level 8 - Dragon/Effect - 2800/2200

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. You can Special Summon this monster from your hand by banishing 2 "Jurassic Dragon" monsters from your Graveyard. Once per turn, you can target 1 card your opponent controls and banish it, but if you do, this monster cannot attack this turn. If this monster destroys your opponent's monster by battle, this monster can declare an additional attack in a row, OR you can equip the destroyed monster to this card as an Equip Spell Card (this monster gains ATK equal to the combined ATK of all equipped monsters).

Truckroid's effect on a bigger, better body that multi-attacks! Plus BLS Envoy's effect, but that's not important right now.

Jurassic Dragon - Brood Mother

LIGHT - Level 8 - Dragon/Effect - 2700/2700

If this monster is Special Summoned, you can banish 1 monster from either player's Graveyard: Increase this monster's ATK by the banished monster's Level x200. If this monster inflicts 2000 or more damage to your opponent in one battle, you can Special Summon 1 "Jurassic Dragon" monster from your Graveyard during your 2nd Main Phase. If this monster destroys your opponent's monster by battle, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the destroyed monster's ATK.

Felgrand plus Flame Wingman? Yes please.

Jurassic Dragon - Absolute Cannibal

EARTH - Level 8 - Dragon/Effect - 2000/3000

Once per turn, you can discard 2 cards to target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls: Halve the target's ATK, and increase this monster's ATK by that lost amount. If this monster destroys your opponent's monster by battle, banish it when it leaves the field. Banish this monster when it leaves the field.

DRXD and DMoC have a demented child. This was admittedly very tricky to balance, but I hope it works the way it is.

Jurassic Dragon - Apex Predator

DARK - Level 9 - Dragon/Effect - ?/?

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned from your hand by Tributing 1 face-up "Jurassic Dragon" monster you control, and cannot be Summoned by other ways. This monster's original ATK and DEF are equal to the original ATK and DEF of the Tributed monster. This monster gains 300 ATK and DEF for every "Jurassic Dragon" monster in your Graveyard. If this monster is targeted for a card or effect: You can negate that effect.

Now, while the Red-Eyes Darkness effect needs no explaining, and the Tribute effect is just so it can be Blue-Eyes Shining or Red-Eyes Darkness if it needs to be, that last effect is a buffed version of Shining's ability to let you choose which Traps can target it.

Jurassic Dragon - Brood Lord

LIGHT - Level 10 - Dragon/Effect - 3000/2500

Cannot be Normal Summoned, except by Tributing 2 "Jurassic Dragon" monsters you control (Cannot be Normal Set). If there are 7 or more "Jurassic Dragon" monsters in your Graveyard, you can Special Summon this monster from your hand. Once per turn, you can Special Summon 1 "Jurassic Dragon" monster from your hand or Graveyard, except "Jurassic Dragon - Brood Lord". Once per turn, if your opponent would activate a Spell Card, you can discard 1 card to negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it.

Dr. Red, with a BEWD statline, Rainbow Dark Dragon-esque Summoning condition, and its anime Spell negation. Maindeck superboss is online.

[spoiler=Spells]

Jurassic Dragon's Den

Field Spell

During your Standby Phase, you can select 3 "Jurassic Dragon" cards from your Deck: Your opponent selects 1 at random to add to your hand, then you must place 1 each of the remaining 2 on the top and bottom of your Deck (if this effect resolves successfully, skip your Draw Phase). Reduce the Levels of all "Jurassic Dragon" monsters in your hand by 2. If this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon 1 "Jurassic Dragon" monster from your Deck.

It's in the prompt, and a very powerful card. Quite possibly all of the Jurassic Dragon S/T would be 3-of staples in any Deck built around them, because consistency.

Jurassic Dragon Trade-Off

Normal Spell

Discard 1 "Jurassic Dragon" monster from your hand, then draw 2 cards.

BUT WHAT DOES JURASSIC DRAGON TRADE-OFF DO!?

Jurassic Dragon's Roar

Normal Spell

Add 1 "Jurassic Dragon" card, except "Jurassic Dragon's Roar", from your Deck to your hand, then shuffle your Deck, then send the top card of your Deck to the Graveyard.

It can search one of the other two S/T, but not itself because I don't want another Toon Table of Contents scenario.

[spoiler=Fusions]

Jurassic Dragon Emperor - Maelstrom Maw

WIND - Level 8 - Dragon/Fusion/Effect - 2700/1900

"Jurassic Dragon - Biting Edge" + 1 "Jurassic Dragon" monster

Must first be Fusion Summoned by sending the above monsters you control to the Graveyard (you do not use "Polymerization"). When this monster is Special Summoned, you can target 1 card on the field and destroy it, and if you do, your opponent must destroy 1 card they control, if possible (a card destroyed by your opponent using this effect cannot activate its effects in the Graveyard). This monster inflicts piercing Battle Damage. At the end of a Battle Phase in which this monster battled, you can Special Summon 2 Level 6 or lower "Jurassic Dragon" monsters from your Deck or Graveyard.

Welcome to Gyzarus in the Jurassic Dragons. However, to add some flavor, you get one pop, and your opponent then has to kill one of their own cards and not get any floating or Graveyard effects off of it.

Jurassic Dragon Emperor - Infernal Blaster

FIRE - Level 8 - Dragon/Fusion/Effect - 3000/2500

3 "Jurassic Dragon" monsters

You can pay 1000 Life Points: Send all cards on the field to the Graveyard, and inflict 200 damage to your opponent for each card sent to the Graveyard this way. If there are 4 or more "Jurassic Dragon" monsters in your Graveyard with different names when this card is activated, this monster is unaffected by the effect of "Jurassic Dragon Emperor - Infernal Blaster".

I decided to make this one halfway between CED and JD, with a similar burn effect to CED that sends cards to the Grave to stop destruction-floating, but it only hits things on the field like JD, and it can survive its own effect.

Jurassic Dragon Emperor - Earthborne Fury

EARTH - Level 10 - Dragon/Fusion/Effect - 4000/4000

3 "Jurassic Dragon" monsters with different names

Must first be Fusion Summoned using the above Materials. Cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard, except by the effect of a "Jurassic Dragon" card. Cannot be targeted by card effects. This monster gains 500 ATK for each card in your hand. If your opponent Special Summons a monster(s), halve the ATK of all monsters your opponent controls.

Half Slifer, half Obelisk, very powerful. Not much I can really day about this one, except that its EARTH Attribute came from the fact that an obelisk is just a pillar.

Jurassic Dragon Emperor - Vividragon Radiance

LIGHT - Level 11 - Dragon/Fusion/Effect - 4500/3000

2 "Jurassic Dragon" monsters with a combined Level of 17 or higher

Must first be Fusion Summoned using the above Materials. Once per turn, you can select and activate 1 of the following effects:

●Destroy 1 monster you control, and shuffle all monsters your opponent controls into the Deck.

●Destroy 1 Spell Card you control, and shuffle all Spell/Trap Cards your opponent controls into the Deck.

●Banish 1 monster from your Graveyard, and shuffle all cards in your opponent's Graveyard into the Deck.

Because sometimes you need a bigger stick that can break your opponent's freaking bones, in a way that kills off their plays.

Jurassic Dragon Emperor - Divine Dark Lord

DARK - Level 12 - Dragon/Fusion/Effect - ?/0

3 "Jurassic Dragon Emperor" monsters with different names

Must be Fusion Summoned using the above Materials, and cannot be Summoned by other ways. Cannot be destroyed or targeted by battle or card effects. If this monster attacks, switch all monsters on the field to face-up Attack Position. This monster's ATK is always equal to double the original ATK of the monster on the field with the highest ATK. A monster battling this monster has its ATK reduced to 0, and its effects negated. There can be only 1 "Jurassic Dragon Emperor - Divine Dark Lord" on the field.

Dark Gaia meets Geh in the ultimate display of sheer offensive power.
