The DDDification of myself.

Greetings folks, I wanna share a handful of creations of mine. A bit of context: In DNF I was the self-proclaimed (but nonetheless respected as) DDD Business King (the deck has a business motif, I ran the deck and I studied business). I also created cards there and turned a handful of users into DDDs there. As an example I decided to make myself a DDD. Later on I made upgraded versions of myself as I got some achievements irl and that's what I wanna bring here. So it is adapted for the game, but is a bit of a meme. Let me know what you think:

You can destroy this card and 1 other "D/D" card in your Pendulum Zone, Monster Zone or "Dark Contract" card you control, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "D/D" monster from your Graveyard or face-up from your Extra Deck, except "D/D/D Business King Maximilian".

 

During your Standby Phase: Gain 1000 LP. When this card is Special Summoned (and no other card): You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls whose ATK or DEF are higher than this card's ATK; take control of that monster.

 

Note: Very basic first step of myself. A reviver as a Pend and an utilitarian Boss second. I created this card long ago, but the control effect and the conditions I guess still shine in Link era. Happy coincidence but it still works. 2500/3000 was chosen as a a mix of the ace monster values 2500 and 3000. Since this card is more of an utility card I gave myself bigger DEF as a gimmick.

 

If you control no "D/D" card in your other Pendulum Zone, this card's Pendulum Scale becomes 5 and you cannot use its effects. During your Main Phase: You can reveal 1 "D/D/D" monster from your Extra Deck, and if you do, use monsters from your hand or side of the field as Material for the Special Summon of that monster. You cannot Special Summon monsters except "D/D" monsters during the turn your use this effect. You can only use this effect of "D/D/D Business King Executive Maximilian" once per turn.

 

You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by Tributing 1 "D/D/D" monster you control. While you control a "D/D" monster other than "D/D/D Business King Executive Maximilian", your opponent cannot target this card for attacks or with card effects. While you have a "D/D" card in your Pendulum Zone: You can Tribute 1 "D/D" monster you control; treat 1 monster your opponent controls as a "D/D/D" monster, and if you do, you can use that monster as  either Tribute or Material for the Summon of a "D/D/D" monster. All damage your opponent takes is halved during the turn you activate this effect. You can only use this effect of "D/D/D Business King Executive Maximilian" once per turn.

 

Note: This card was made after I passed my Final Exam in College. As a Pend I work as an omni-Swamp King but adding in Synchro and Xyz as well. It requires another Scale so some card investment is needed.

 

As a Monster I have a SS condition akin to Zero Laplace. My monster eff is rather nasty. Not only I have a level of protection, but I can also use the opp's monsters as materials for summoning a DDD monster, akin to an omni-Super Poly (albeit you can respond). Damage is halved as an added restriction, I must also tribute something as a cost, so it isn't an instant plus, but an additional form of removal. Also given my Level of 10 here I cannot be easily Pend Summon at least not with DD Scales so there is that as a balancing factor.

 

Once per turn, during your Standby Phase: Take 1000 damage.

You can only use 1 of the following effects of this card's name once per turn and only once that turn, and if you do, you cannot Special Summon monsters, except "D/D" monsters during that turn.

*During your Main Phase: You can take 1 "D/D" Pendulum Monster from your Deck, and either place it into your Pendulum Zone or add it to your Extra Deck face-up.

*If you would Fusion, Synchro or Xyz Summon a "D/D/D" monster, you can use "D/D" Pendulum Monsters that are face-up in your Extra Deck as material.

 

Note: A Dark Contract with myself. For all matters and purposes, imagine that the spear there has scribbles (as all contracts do). This Contract helps you set your Pendulum Summons. By easing the task of placing a Scale or fodder in the Extra Deck. You can help yourself with the effect of Thomas or Zero Laplace to retrieve Pends from the Extra Deck as you load them OR set Thomas or Laplace for easy retrievals. All in all this card will help you even in Link era.

 

During your Main Phase, if you control another "D/D" card into your Pendulum Zone: You can Tribute 1 "D/D/D" monster you control (Fusion, Synchro, Xyz or Pendulum); Special Summon 1 "D/D/D" monster from your Extra Deck of a different monster card type and equal or lower ATK as that monster (and if you Special Summon a Xyz Monster this way, you can attach the Tributed monster as Xyz Material to that monster.) You can only use this card's name effect once per turn.

 

2 "D/D/D" Pendulum Monsters / 1 "D/D" Tuner monster + 1 or more non-Tuner "D/D" Pendulum Monsters / 2 Level 8 "D/D/D" Pendulum Monsters

(This card is also always treated as a Fusion, Synchro, and Xyz Monster, and has a Rank equal to its Level.)

This card must be Fusion, Synchro or Xyz Summoned by using the above materials and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. During your Main Phase: You can Special Summon 1 "D/D/D" monster from your Extra Deck or that is attached to this card into your Main Monster Zone. This card cannot declare an attack during the turn you use this effect. You can only use this effect of this card's name once per turn. While you control a "D/D" card in your Pendulum Zone this card cannot be targeted or be destroyed by card effects.  If this card is destroyed by battle or by card effect, you can place it into your Pendulum Zone.

 

Note: My final upgrade. I made this when officially graduated from College. Since integration was a thing, I decided to make myself an Integration monster (kinda fits the theme of DDs if you ask me). As a Pend I'm basically a DDD tag-outer. That is to say Tribute 1 DDD and replace with another. By doing this you can combo with cards like Ragnarok or Temujin, and abuse the living hell out of revive from Graveyard into MMZ. I need to die first to be used as a Pend tho.

 

As a monster you can summon me through Fusion, Synchro or Xyz Summon (given I'm an Integration monster I think this approach works best for that theme). Working on with Link rules, I'm able to summon a DDD monster straight from the ED into the MMZ. I cannot attack if I do that, but I bolster my army, nicely and instantly. And if there is a DD Pend Scaled, I gain Zarc-protection. I think all of that makes for enough of a strong End Game Level Boss monster. Just in case my name is intentionally "Supreme King".
