Resident Fascist Posted May 5, 2017 Report Share Posted May 5, 2017 Holy clickbait title batman. Anyway, as the topic title says, I'm leaving. This site holds no real value to me anymore, I feel I get absolutely nothing out of it and honestly, this place is dying. I've got better things to be doing than coming on the internet to talk to random strangers about issues that they don't actually share an opinion with me on. In general I'm going to be spending less time around the internet, it's just not healthy, and I've wasted too much time here. I won't say it's been entirely meaningless, but I'm not exactly overflowing with emotion now that I've decided to leave. A lot of the "friendships" I've made here are nothing but superficial and to try and make anything but that of it would be foolish. Put simply, this place is a waste of mental energy, and I get nothing done whenever I come here. Some of you likely feel I'm a horrible human being, and want me off this admittedly sinking ship. That being said, a few people here I do deem special and their time is important to me, many of them left the site a long time ago, so staying here doesn't really give me any benefit.
