Padded Cell

[Field Spell]

Cards a player owns and/or controls cannot be destroyed by that player's own cards or card effects, also monsters they control cannot be destroyed by battle during their Battle Phase.

Self-violence is no longer permitted, True King Dinos...

Yeah, RIP True King / Dracos and yeah, no more Lost World stuff. (I should learn to play that variant)

But then again, it turns Dark Hole into another Raigeki, stuff like RDA won't blow up your own 'mons if they don't strike (and/or get caught in the crossfire if Scarlight triggers). To be fair, it also lets you be a little looser on what you can do during the BP, well, at least in terms of doing suicide attacks or something. Also no more Six Samurai sacrifice effects. There's a lot more that wasn't mentioned, but main thing is yeah, stop True King Dinos from doing stuff.

Well here I go:

Spirit Reaper isn't destroyed when it's targetted.

Monsters summoned by Limit Reverse are not destroyed when they are changed into defense position.

Chimeratech Overdragon doesn't destroy your field when it's summoned.

Monsters Summoned by Future Fusion aren't destroyed when sayed card leaves the field.

Spyral Sleeper is nullified.

Cards powered up by Thousand Energy and Limiter Removal aren't destroyed.

Jurassic Impact only ends up activating its last effect (which can be good).

Call of the haunted and it's clones don't destroy the special summoned monster when they leave the field.

Same thing for D.D.R..

EDIT: Also Double Cyclone just becomes MST and Scrap Dragon is Free.

EDIT 2: Assault Slash becomes Raigeki in Trap form

EDIT 3: Demise, King of Armageddon only destroys your opponent's field.

More stuff I can't currently remember.

GG 10/10 card, whould run 3 of and 3 terraforming for it.

Jeez... I am starting to have second thoughts on design.. Thank you for your examples though. XD

I've been wanting the game to have an effect that effectively lets me assemble a battle-effect deck  with cards like Hyper Hammerhead, Madolche Puddingcess, Heraldic Beast Basilisk, Amazoness Sage, etc.

But then I remember such a card would instead be used for Gladiator Beasts first, and so I decide to settle for Waboku and Catapult Zone instead.

Like Sakura said: It stops certain decks like True Kings.

Metalfoes and Sky Iris Pendulum variants of decks come to mind too. Though those are not as big nowadays.

It'd for sure be more of an anti meta card than an actual theme enabler.

For more competitive games, it'd hinder some Pendulum plays where they have to destroy cards in Pendulum Zones to make way for new Scales or activate effects. For more general or common plays, it'd be neat to use with mass removal cards like Dark Hole, Torrential Tribute, and Final Destiny (but still more Dark Hole than these two). Or even monsters that have self-destruct; whether it be by their own effects (Slifer and Obelisk if they're Special Summoned), or initiated by another card (Call of the Haunted, Celestial Transformation). All in all, a neat card that can help bide time for destruction.
