Hello everyone, I'm Youtt. Started playing when Chaos Dragons were a thing and quit around the DRuler/Spellbook format. Came back in April 2016 format and I've been playing ever since, though not competitively anymore. My favorite decks would be Madolches, Tellars, Zarc Magicians, Yang Zings and Shaddolls (sadly I never got to play with Construct).

I guess you'll mainly see me in the Custom Card  (tho I'm really lacking inspiration right now) and the Yugioh Discussion sections.

Hello Youtt, welcome to YCM. I'm Yui, and since it seems you're mostly interested in CC, we won't see much of each other in the future ^_^;

 

Before you go any further, make sure you've already read up on the site rules, as well as the section rules for any section you'll be frequenting (which as you've stated will mostly be CC and TCG). It's just common sense, but nobody's ever died by reading so what's the worst that could happen by learning what's okay and not okay to do here? If you end up with any questions about things, the best people to ask are the moderators. You can identify them by a staff banner under their avatar (where you have the one star and I have...well, nothing), or by their bold names in the online users panel at the bottom of the forum's main page. If you're anxious about talking to the mod team (I was once too, but don't worry, they're totally harmless), you could also just find a member who's active in your section of choice (HINT: That's not gonna be me in CC and TCG lol) and ask them instead.

 

Oh and be careful in TCG. Last I heard, that place was...not so pleasant. Don't let them scare you off, okay? :)

 

And that about wraps up my welcome shtick. Be good, don't make an ass of yourself, and above all else, have fun during your time here! You're here forever now. Might as well get comfy ^_~

But anyway, welcome to YCM.

 

Yui already mentioned the rulebook stuff, but yeah, do make sure you look at them. Most things are common sense, but a few things are generally specific, such as policies on bumping threads and what constitutes acceptable behavior. In terms of Custom Cards, which you probably might go into, make sure you know the difference between Advanced and Casual, as they do differ a bit by standards. If you need help getting around there, ask me. (I'm the mod for that section)

 

As for TCG, just be mindful of what you say in that section regarding particular cards and such (i.e. just know what you're talking about in the section and you'll be fine). A lot of the discussion in there usually revolves around new cards (like recently) and game design as a whole. Also expect to talk about stuff on a competitive level (and efficiency).
