Accursed Archfiend

For this card, I wanted to give Archfiends a relatively easy monster to Summon, given how slow the archetype was last I remember. However, I also wanted it to support the archetype in Tribute Summoning, given the higher Levels of some of the monsters, while also helping the archetype benefit from the effects that trigger upon destruction, like Archfiend Empress.

You can send 1 "Archfiend" card with a different name from your hand or side of the field to the Graveyard; Special Summon this card from your hand. This card can be treated as 2 Tributes for the Tribute Summon of an "Archfiend" monster. Once per turn: You can target 1 "Archfiend" monster and 1 other card on the field; destroy both targets.

Archfiends certainly need more good monsters, and this certainly helps as both Tribute fodder and removal.

 

I'd recommend making it discard as an effect not a cost for its Special Summon. This is because Archfiend Heiress, the deck's main searcher, only works if sent to the Graveyard by battle or by an effect. If you really wanted, you could have it destroy the Archfiend card instead of sending it to the Graveyard. This would help with cards like Archfiend Cavalry.

And that's what the last effect is for; stuff like Cavalry and Queen, wereas the first one is for stuff like Heiress. Especially given how Cavalry needs to be on the field to activate. Or are you suggesting I swap the effects? That way, it destroys from the hand (like Hieratic Tributing from the hand) as well.
