[spoiler=Trapped Beneath the Static]It takes a certain kind of evil to kill the voice of a man. An evil so great that it is normal to most. It is just accepted. A necessary evil, as it were. This evil is confidence. Those who have it possess power, and those who do not are subject to this power. Confidence is self-destructive. It is strange because it is instilled into people so that it can exist, but the confidence of the powerful destroys the confidence of those who lack as much confidence. An absence of confidence equates to silence. Silence is a terrifying thing, because we never truly hear it. It is unfathomable, because it cannot exist. Quiet is dangerous but silence is deadly. When a man has had a voice for so long, and the earth quaked when he spoke, when his voice is gone, he dies. You have enjoyed silence for so long. You suffered because you were not silenced, the world was deafened. You knew not why, but eventually after you finally saw what was happening, you gave up. You surrendered to your perpetual death. Eternal silence. Who are you now?

Vary your sentence length. Writing is like a melody, so sing to me. The first 5 or so sentences are short and make it all feel repetitive and monotonous. Monotone sheet is boring, and unless you have a very good reason for doing so you should not be boring your audience.

Also the content is terrible #Im13AndThisisDeep 2edgy4me nonsense, but whatever. I'm not here to debate the content, rather critique the work itself as a whole.
