Eternal Blizzard, Trishula

WATER

Link: UL, UR, DL, DR

Dragon/Link/Effect

3+ WATER Monsters

Once per turn: you can banish 1 Monster in a Zone this card points to; banish up to 3 cards from your opponents field or GY. This card cannot attack during the turn you used this effect. If this card was Link Summoned using a "Trishula" Monster except "Eternal Blizzard, Trishula" as a Link Material, this card gains the following effect. This card can attack thrice during each of your Battle Phases.

ATK/2700 LINK-4

So Eternal Blizzard is a Link version of Trish that can banish a monster in a zone linked to it including your opponent to banish up to 3 cards from their field or grave (I excluded hand due to the abuse from this effect) and also I gave it a effect where if summoned using Synchro Trish it can attack 3 times during the Battle Phase.

Unless you have enough resources to actually make Trishula nowadays, THEN go into this, most you get out of this is just banishing 3 cards from the field / Graveyard. In terms of Decks that can actually use this, only ones worth mentioning are probably Mermail/Atlantean and Frogs (which have the capacity to spam the field quick enough iirc). The banish is good (hey, you get to banish your opponent's stuff too), but the triple attack is pretty much unusable in the Link era. (Saying this because Synchro Trish only counts as 1 Link Material, and you need 3 more besides it; that, and only WATER Link we have is Star Grail Maiden Eve, which cannot use 2 WATERs b/c of its restrictions).

So yeah, you're basically using 4 WATERs to make something that usually will only get you OPT banishes (assuming there exists banish fodder to trigger), which isn't bad. Even though I mentioned possible Decks that can go into this, not sure if they'd want to over other options that have looser restrictions.

Not a fan of the card. First, you have to come up with a flavorful reason for this card's existence because last time we saw Trishula in the DP universe was as a Nekroz overtaken by Anoyatillis, who IIRC eventually turned into Tierra.

Then, it really has an overkill vibe. I mean, Trishula is Limited for a reason, and this is pretty much a Link version of it that is arguably more accessible due to the nature of Links, Link Summoning and Link laddering. And as if that wasn't enough, it doesn't even have any hard OPT, and as Star Grails have demonstrated, summoning multiple Link4s like Firewall Dragon is feasible, so if a WATER Link archetype as spammy as Star Grails were to exist... yeah. This would be a card that as best will be waiting to be abused, which doesn't speak well of its design.
