We can't quickly pop our scales to SS them, we can't place 2 in scales knowing we have tons of backrow, and we can't do as much combos coz of the new rules. I tried my best to make these cards balanced while being overall useful to the archetype, without further adieu, here are the Monsters. Odd-Eyes Virtual DragonLINK-4Link Markers - left, right, up, downDragon|Link|Effect2500/20004 Effect Monsters (min.1)When this card is Link Summoned, if this card is linked to a Monster in the Extra Monster Zone, you can Special Summon 1 Pendulum Monster from your face-up Extra Deck. Once per Turn: If an "Magician" Pendulum Monster or "Odd-Eyes" Pendulum Monster is destroyed in your Pendulum Zones, you can Special Summon 1 "Magician" or "Odd-Eyes" Monster in your face-up Extra Deck with a different name then the destroyed Monsters. If this card is destroyed by battle or by card effect, you can Special Summon 1 "Odd-Eyes" Monster in your face-up Extra Deck. Technomancer MagicianLINK-2Link Markers - bottom left , bottom right, down.2000/14002 "Magician" Pendulum Monsters (min 2.)When this card is Link Summoned, if you control no other "Odd-Eyes" or "Magician" Monsters, you can Special Summon 1 "Magician" Pendulum Monster from your Deck. Once per Turn: You can target 1 "Magician" or "Odd-Eyes" Monster in your Pendulum Zone, destroy it, and if you do, draw 1 card. If this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you can target 2 "Magician" Pendulum Monsters in your Graveyard, return them to the Extra Deck face-up, and if you do, Special summon this card, but banish it when it leaves the field. IcaruDuskin Posted June 2, 2017 Report Share Posted June 2, 2017 One massive problem I can see right off the bat, Technomancer Magician is a Link 2 monster has 3 Link markers. A monster's Link Number is the amount of Link Markers it can have. Also Link Monsters can't have a Defense. Odd-Eyes Virtual Dragon seems like it could be easily abused. With it's materials being a minimum 1 you could turn any other Link 4 you're tired with into the Odd-Eyes Virtual Dragon. I'd say at least increase minimum materials to 2 effect monsters so you can't just turn any other Link 4 into it, and possibly change the special summoning effects it has to special summoning those monsters into it's Linked Zones, so there's some sort of limitation to it and you can't completely bypass the new Pendulum rules. Technomancer Magician seems fine to me, other than the previously stated Link Markers. It's attack may be a bit high for a Link 2 monster, so maybe reduce that to 1800 or somewhere around there.
