Flash Flyer - Sakura
I already split the topic into its own thing, so no big deal. But standard intro stuff: Hi, welcome to YCM. Before you post further on the site, make sure you have looked at the site rules and that of any section specifics pertaining to your areas of interest. I've seen you in Custom Cards a few times, so...did you read the stuff for that section. If you're confused by anything in them, ask me. If you need help with other stuff, ask me or one of my colleagues. ====As for saving custom cards, you should be able to do so via the cardmaker. I'd imagine that's what you originally came for, right?
Guduss
Yes, sir. I came to make cards of my own. I explained that much in my own topic in the Experimental Cards section, "Sin Numbers."
Guduss
So, Sakura, if I save a card, where does it go?
Flash Flyer - Sakura
It gets saved to your profile on the cardmaker part of this site; where you first enter the site. Or click the cardmaker tab.
Guduss
I saw on other people's posts that they downloaded monster(s) that they have created. Can you show me how that works?
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Some of them make their cards on TCGEditor, which Nyx linked to in the previous member's intro thread. That would require you to save the card to your desktop, then upload them elsewhere. Open the cardmaker in another tabFind card and open itLeft-click to generate IMG codeCopy/paste IMG code into postRepeat the process for multiple cards.Because the cardmaker's auto upload is shot, do these steps.Steps 1/2 in the above (find card)Save your card to desktopYou may also right-click "get image location" for a long URL.Upload it to Imgur or some other image host (the cardmaker usually uses Imgur); either the card you saved to desktop or the long URL.Copy/paste the resulting IMG code into post (or add the tags around the URL if they aren't there; replace with the brackets) Here's a general uploading tutorial. Top one is if you try to upload from the cardmaker after saving, but yeah does require that you save it to desktop or reupload it. Or there are some addons for Firefox / Chrome that'll do it for you without requiring you to manual upload.

Simping For Hina
Hello there. Glad to meet you. Welcome to the wonderful world of duel monsters. My name is Rod. People affectionately refer to me as the YuGiOh Professor. Here, you are to begin your journey. The forum is inhabited far and wide by creatures called YCMembers. For some moderators, YCMembers are a form of entertainment. Others use them for punishment. As for myself, I live among them. Now, first tell me about yourself. Are you a boy? Or are you a girl? Let's begin with your name. What is it? Right, so your name is [insert name here]. This is my grandson. He's been your rival since you both were babies. Erm, what was his name now? Er, was it [insert name here]? That's right, I remember now! His name is [insert name here]. Your very own YCMember legend is about to unfold! A world of pain and anguish with YCMembers awaits! Let's go.
Guduss
This sounds awfully like Pokemon. But, heck, I'll go along with it. I'm a boy. I don't know what you mean by name for either me or your grandson.
Guduss
Sakura, I saw the Card Contests and saw about the test. Could it be possible to receive one?
Flash Flyer - Sakura
I haven't given one in a while, but yeah. It's basically an aptitude test to see how well you understand card design and its interactions (though the last time test was given, the game was a lot different). I'll PM you one later once I get home from work. ====Right, and don't mind the Pokemon-themed intro Dae made above; certain members have unique welcoming posts.
