Goats + (a modified Goat Format)

Up to August 2005, pre-CRV, pre-Exarion with added modifications.  The goal is to adjust the format but not completely change it.  I want to get rid of OTK/FTK decks and strengthen low tier theme decks, but Goats/Chaos would still be tier 1.  I'm looking for constructive feedback on how to balance this custom format.

The parenthesized numbers next to the added cards are the amount of copies which could be ran in the main and side decks combined.  I will err on the side of caution since I don't want to add any dominating strategies or make any of the original cards in the format obsolete.  Please let me know of any other balanced additions, or cards on this list that should be restricted further.

Please don't steal the name Goat(+), Goat(-), or any other other names I come up with in the future for custom formats that I've put effort into.

 

If you want constructive feedback on your format, you're going to have to post more, test with good players, and probably join the format library community. Creating a custom format is not easy and you certainly can't do it completely by yourself. I am in the process of beta-testing a format that I code named "goat(+)" (yes I know you stole this name) and it has taken me hours of work and collaboration with many people just to get it this far.

 

Again, stealing intellectual property is not cool. Please don't do it again.
