[AGM, Written, WIP] Wyvernite - Add to the Normalpalooza!

[spoiler= Prompt]

Wyvernite

This is a small archetype of EARTH Dragons- mostly Gemini with a few legitimate Normal monsters and like two full-on Effect monsters mixed in (one of which is basically a True King)- and a few FIRE Rocks that act as their eggs- think the baby dinosaurs, mixed in with cards like Carboneddon or CyDra Core. Most of the support the Rocks do lets Normal monsters be stupidly effective, allowing you to SS Normal Dragons from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard, and/or grant them solid effects, but a few of them do actually support just the archetype.

As for what they do, Wyvernite is a Fusion archetype that hits somewhere between Invoked and Metalfoes with having loose Material requirements (some Fusions are based on Attribute, some on statline, and some require a certain monster category, like "Fusion monster", "Effect monster" or "Synchro monster"), because they have archetypal variants of Shaddoll Fusion, Super Poly, and Invocation, to use your opponent's stuff to shove a wide variety of big beaters (most of which with solid effects) right in your opponent's face. That said, they do have a few really solid archetypal Tuners, including one that Summons a non-Effect Dragon from basically anywhere if it leaves the field by any means . . . which means you can Synchro with it to drop a Blue-Eyes on your opponent if you're really hurting for stats. You see, only one of their main Deck members hits the classic BEWD statline, and your going to be using all your copies of it up pretty quickly because Fusion archetype.

Well, I'll be damned. Another real reason for all that AGM Normal and Gemini support, hot on the heels of another AGM Normal monster archetype. It's like we're an actual card pool!

All this variance in archetypal Fusions means that I'm going to need to plug the holes in the Fusion lineup over time, but here's everything planned:

6 Attribute Fusions

4 stat Fusions (ATK/DEF less/greater than 2000)

6 monster category Fusions (Fusion, Ritual, Synchro, Xyz, Pendulum, non-Effect)

For a grand total of 16 Fusions, which means that they don't fit in one Extra Deck! This gives Wyvernite a wide reach on what they can steal for Fusion Material, so really I appreciate any help on filling the Wyvernite lineup.

[spoiler= Main Deck Monsters]

Wyvernite Small Egg

FIRE - Level 1 - Rock/Tuner/Effect - 200/150

I'm kinda questioning Simple Egg's requirement for its first effect, seeing as you don't have in-archetype ways to trigger it. Though its first effect is very powerful, so I guess it balances out.

Speaking of powerful effects, all of the Gemini Wyvernites' effects are really good. Though they are balanced out handily by the fact that they're Gemini monsters, and as such it's pretty difficult to have those effects active consistently. I would still put a once per turn clause on Obsidian's effect, though, because otherwise it could get a little nuts.

Again speaking of really good effects, Instant Heat's Graveyard effect concerns me greatly. It's basically Pot of Avarice, but also a fusion spell and a less costly requirement, which you'll already have mostly fulfilled just by using Instant Heat to Fusion Summon something. I would change it to only drawing 1 card and putting a "except during the turn this card is sent to the Graveyard" clause in there. Massive Blaze is also a bit spooky, since it's a most likely one-sided Skill Drain stapled onto a quick-play fusion spell. Rather than a blanket negate, I would modify it to a targeting negation of one or two cards. That way, you can still preserve the negation bit, without having it be quite so ridiculous.

Other than those few gripes, I do genuinely like the archetype! It seems really fun to play, especially with the "Fusion toolbox" aspect of it. Speaking of, here's another Fusion for you!

Wyvernite Shard Dragon

EARTH

Level 4

Dragon/Fusion/Effect

1800/1200

1 "Wyvernite" monster + 1 monster with 2000 or less ATK

Monsters your opponent controls lose ATK equal to the number of face-up "Wyvernite" cards you control x200.

Massive Blaze's clause is actually not a Skill Drain, it only locks out monster effects until after it resolves. Basically, your opponent can only negate it with S/T, and their monster effects can't go off until after the Fusion Summon is done. Basically, it's a nerfed, archetype-specific Super Poly.

I'll put the "except during the turn this card is sent to the Graveyard" on Instant Heat, sure.

Thanks for the addition!

Also, we now have a FIRE Fusion and a Synchro Fusion.

Most wind monsters deal with spells and traps, so maybe you can think of something around that. Also, maybe add some support to your Gemini monsters, like an extra normal summon, or make 1 Gemini an effect monster, just look at some generic Gemini support cards and pull some ideas from that.
