So it's that time of the year again, and I realized we didn't have a discussion thread for this yet, so here I go making this. Some of the festivities have already begun, with EA strutting their stuff. The only thing that really interested me was

, a new IP from BioWare that we'll get a full reveal for tomorrow.

As for the conference schedules:
EA - Saturday, June 10th at 12PM PT / 3PM ET
Microsoft - Sunday, June 11th at 2PM PT / 5PM ET
Bethesda - Sunday, June 11th at 9PM PT / 12AM ET
PC Gaming Show - Monday, June 12th at 10AM PT / 1PM ET
Ubisoft - Monday, June 12th at 1PM PT / 4PM ET
Sony - Monday, June 12th at 6PM PT / 9PM ET
Nintendo - Tuesday, June 13th at 9AM PT / 12PM ET

I'm thankful that I'll be able to watch Nintendo's one live, though everything else is out of reach. Though, I don't really care about EA's one other than Star Wars Battlefront II. I may watch the other ones at some point but in the meantime I'll get to watching the Battlefront

This looks really cool, but I hate the "totally not actors, real people talking" that some game trailers do. Seems way too forced and not actually genuine.

not as bad as the fake shoutcaster for that indie not-playerunknown's battlegrounds game

A lot of those games look great and I can't wait to play them on PS4.

That DBZ game looks really cool, you can totally tell it was done by Arc System Works, I love the look of the effects and everything. Has DBZ had a 2D fighting game before? All the ones I can remember have been 3D.

They've had several, the Supersonic Warriors fighting games I'm pretty sure. But if not that series, they've DEFINITELY had them, as I've seen TFS play a couple on their gaming channel.

I remember there was a GBA fighting DBZ game that was 2D. THere's probably more but I don't know really.

It seemed good. I didn't look at everything, but they had Terry Crews for Crackdown 3 which was great.

Also, got funking chills from this one.

Still need to play the first one, though. >.>

I'm just glad Anthem is also coming to PS4, I haven't played a Microsoft console in a dog's age.

Ok, I had no idea the Mario + Rabbids game would be like XCOM, that's cool. I love the colorful world and while I've never played any of the Rabbids games, I think the crossover works. I guess I had no expectations for it but it actually looks really fun and polished. It's pretty close, too, only gotta wait until the end of August.

The only Far Cry game I've played is Blood Dragon, but I've watched friends play 3, and 5 looks kickass.

Beyond Good and Evil 2 looks neat, too. Never played the first one, but I've heard good things about it, and since this 2 is a prequel hopefully that means I can just jump in with it.

YO, METROD PRIME 4, LET'S FUCKIN GO!!

Kirby looks great as usual, I like the whole ally system they have going with the combining powers. What looks like Yoshi's Story 2 looks cute and fun as well. I love the possession ability thing in Mario Odyssey (and that musical number was fantastic). Rocket League for the Switch is kickass, too. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 looks very interesting as well, the fact I haven't played the first one yet shouldn't matter I hope.

Nintendo, you did not disappoint.

So, I watched the Nintendo presser.

Xenoblade 2: Guys like swords and boobs right, WHAT IF WE PUT THEM TOGETHER!!!. Joking aside, game looks solid. We know its a sequel to the original, but the opening makes me wonder just how much time has past since it. The voice acting seemed ok, but man is it British. Like that they kept that from the original. I'm still shocked it is coming out this year.

Kirby and Yoshi are such chill games. They aren't HYPE!!! like some of the other stuff Nintendo puts out, but they are always really fun and relaxing. Though speaking of hype, ABILITY FUSIONS ARE BACK!!! (And enemy partners too).

Weird to have Nintendo announce that a game is being worked on and have nothing else to show. That being said Main Series Pokemon and Prime 4 for Switch are MASSIVE announcements. Curious who is doing Prime. Hopeful its Retro since they put out some GOOD games.

I wish we'd gotten gameplay for FE: Warriors. It is a Warriors game so its pretty obvious what we should expect, but still.

No idea what to make of the Zelda DLC. Part of me just doesn't like the idea in concept, but meh. I doubt people will complain about having more to do with it.

I'm shocked they didn't talk more about Splatoon 2. Its a pretty big release and its coming out in a few months. I mean, they'll have a dedicated direct for it before launch, but still.

Rabbids + Mario seems cool. Nice thats it's a genre Nintendo doesn't do.

Rocket League being on Switch was unexpected, but cool. Cross Platform play is HUGE.

That Mario trailer. At first I wasn't digging it, but then

Nintendo won.

-New MetroidS as in PLURAL, Prime 4 for Switch and Metroid: Samus Returns for 3DS

-New Pokémon, like a full-blown RPG Pokémon

-New Kirby game

-New Yoshi platformer, looks charming and cool to me

-Xenoblade 2

-Fire Emblem Warriors-reuniting all the big protags on top of a new story, pulling a Fate/Stay here

-Zelda DLC and amiibos

And the stupendous display of Super Mario Odyssey. That trailer and gameplay all looked very fun (how funny is it too that Pauline is the mayor of the Donkey Kong City).

Awesome job, Nintendo. Getting back on track in a big way.

If you're from Awakening/Fates/Archanea games, at least. We already know those will be the main focus. It's one of the reasons I'm actually not that interested in it (that, and Hyrule Warriors was really enough for me, the gameplay does get quite repetitive). Maybe they'll have some of the big name characters from other games like Ike or Lyn or Hector but I don't think we have any confirmation on that sort of thing.
