Best/worst dreams you've ever had

I don't know if I can choose a best or worst dream, since all of my dreams are pretty surreal. Some of the more interesting dreams I've had include:

~ Losing my backpack and finding it inside a laundry basket in the English Hallway in my school, which I then proceed to wear (the laundry basket) as I ordered some mint chocolate chip ice cream from a cafe that appeared out of nowhere.

~ A grayscale dream where the only color was the red and green of a rose held by a girl in a rural locale, I tried approaching her but she seemed upset at me

[spoiler=Innocent children don't read this.]

Sex dreams are pretty damn good, I wouldn't complain if those happened more often. Though if there's ever a... mess to clean up when I wake up, that kinda sucks.

Lucid dreams are also pretty great, I usually bungle it up and waste the opportunity, though. Like, one time I was on what seemed to be the Polar Express, hanging out with my friends. I was trying to get them to shut up so I could ask them questions, "even though this is a dream and I can just ask you guys later when I wake up." I was fully aware it was a dream, but even dream me is lazy, I guess.

My dreams are usually fine, and I'm usually quite good at remembering them. The only nightmare I can ever remember having was me being one of the Three Little Pigs when the Big Bad Wolf attacked our house on a dark and stormy night. It didn't end well for me, but I'm sure I was delicious. I've had inconvenient dreams, like showing up to class and not having my homework done, but I wouldn't count those as nightmares.

Oh, I had one when I was young and my house had been overrun by monsters who had taken kids about my age (I was about... 6 at the time?) and were planning to eat them. I turned into my childhood made-up superhero, Breeze, and fought off the monsters one by one. When I'd rescue/encounter a kid, I'd touch them and give them the powers of other superheroes I'd made. We were powerful as a team and beating the last few monsters was a breeze (pun totally intended) until we got to the last room of the house. In that last room, there was a mind-control monster who turned every single one of my hard-fought-for teammates against me. I ended up waking up before the dream ended. It was both one of my all-time favorite dreams and one that ended up being very close to the most terrifying dreams I've ever had (simply because of the dreadful hopelessness of the last minute).

The best one I had was probably eating pizza at my aunt's house.

The worse was falling off a cliff into spiked rocks.

Same. Whenever I've had the opportunity, I forgot to take advantage of it.

I hear that people can control their lucid dreams i.e. when they know it's a dream, but I don't think I've ever been able to control my dreams even when I realize I'm dreaming. The dream just keeps on going, and I can't just jump in the air and fly at will or anything. Not that I mind much though. How do you guys do it?

I haven't. Not much at least. First time I acknowledged I had a lucid dream in my dream, I got too excited I woke up. The time after, the same thing almost happened but I stopped myself because I remembered if I got too excited, I'd wake up. The most control I've ever taken is if something bad or unsettling happens in the dream and then I suddenly remember or fathom I'm in a dream. I can wake myself up to a avoid this scenario.

I have gone flying in lucid dreams a couple of times, though the last time I remember doing so, the dream was in third person and I flew into the sky but the "camera" didn't follow me so eventually I went out of view and then I woke up, so it wasn't that great.

There's a myriad of tricks that can supposedly help you realize you're in a dream more often, you can just google them. Every once in awhile I'll write down all my dreams since they can be really cool stories, and apparently it helps your mind recognize trends which allows you to realize you're in a dream more often.
