Dragulas Posted June 23, 2017 Report Share Posted June 23, 2017 [spoiler=Effect]Pay 1000 LP; reveal 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck that can be Summoned with a "Legendary Dragon" Spell Card, and if you do, add to your hand, 1 "Legendary Dragon" Spell Card from your Deck and 1 appropiate card that can be used to Summon that Fusion Monster from your Deck or GY, also you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except with the effect of a "Legendary Dragon" Spell Card. During the End Phase of this turn, banish all cards in your hand face-down if you did not activate a "Legendary Dragon" Spell Card. You can only activte 1 "Birth of the Legends" per turn. Darj Posted June 23, 2017 Report Share Posted June 23, 2017 Wow, this is a good card, IMO. It pretty much turns the legendary Dragon Spells into some kind of engine. For example, it supports Dark Magicians by letting you grab, well, Dark Magician; through the Hermos Fusions it practically becomes a searcher for any Dragon, Spellcaster and Warrior monster; with the Critias Fusions it's effectively a searcher for some Traps, including the pre-errata CCV. Really, I like how the 3 different Legendary Dragon Spells give this card different roles or applications. Although the Special Summon lock gets a bit in the way, and also makes it inconvenient for Eye of Timaeus because you can't Special Summon the Dark Magician (Girl) you grab. Really tempted to suggest to limit the lock to Special Summons from Extra Deck, just so it doesn't interfere with Timaeus, also to have some fun with Hermos + Trick Clown, Thousand Blades, etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Even if you take advantage by searching stuff like Trick Clown or Thousand Blades, with the lock on Extra Deck Summons you cannot really do much with them once they reach the field anyway.
