Cyberse Dragon: The next Progress

Hello people. I'm here with a new CaC idea for the Link era. So new cards and decks are coming, along support for older themes as well. And so I was thinking, how to make something a bit more unique? Something more signature of the Link era? And then two ideas came to me. First I thought on CyDra (a deck I'm fond of) and how it achieved notoriety for many things, namely how groundbreaking it was when released and then later on with Infinity. Subsequently I turned my attention into Link era and the thing that stood up were well Cyberse monsters.

Thus taking inspiration from both things I came with "Cyberse Dragon". What do they do? Do they beat their opponent down with violence? Not quite. Do they spam and allow you to perform chains and chains of Link Summon? Not necessarily? How about "React to your opponent's moves as they happen", or "Intercept your foes with powerful disruptive abilities like an expert hacker"? Feel tempted? Take a look around at these beauties.

If an opponent's monster declares an attack: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, also that monster's ATK and DEF become half its current ATK and DEF. If this card is sent from the field to the GY: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower monster from your hand in Defense Position. You can only use this card's name effect once per turn.

Note: The signature monster of the Deck. Cyberse Dragon is a powerful and flexible monster that can be used easily and effectively. It can get himself out of the hand by debilitating incoming attacks and when it goes to the GY it further helps bringing monster into field, both things idea to set the conditions for Link Summoning. Can you build your way up? Definitely!! This monster is created thinking that it could be used everywhere without much hindering.

If a monster effect is activated on the field while you control a "Cyberse Dragon" monster (Quick Effect): You can Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, negate that effect, then inflict 500 damage to the controller of that monster.

Note: Cyberse Dragon doesn't come alone as it has its buddies!! First in the line is Dva which reacts differently to the base form. Dva reacts to monster effects, intercepting them, nullifying them and hurting the opponent for using them. It is a nice effect that causes disruption in the enemy's ranks very much like you would intercept communications, while at the same time it makes its presence known. Keep this bad boy up, he won't be sticking in your hand for too long.

Attack Name: Blaster Roar Two ; Effect Name: Reject Field

If your opponent Special Summons a monster: You can Special Summon this card, from your hand. If summoned this way, it cannot be destroyed by battle or by card effects, until the end of this turn. If this card is sent from the field to the GY: You can add 1 "Cyberse Dragon" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Cyberse Dragon Tri". You can only use this card's name effect once per turn.

Note: The next companion of Cyberse Dragon, Tri makes its threat known by reacting to your opponent's maneuvers in gathering their own forces. Special Summon is a common tactic regardless of the Deck you use and Tri knows that. Upon sensing a Special Summon, it will counter with a Special Summon of its own and not only that, it protects himself in order to make itself difficult to remove. Furthermore upon being sent to the GY it will search its comrades, further facilitating the tactics you need.

Attack Name: Blaster Roar Three ; Effect Name: Reject Shield

If an opponent's monster declares a direct attack: You can pay 1000 LP; Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, return that monster to the hand. If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Cyberse Dragon" monster from your Deck, but it cannot attack this turn.

Note: Cyberse Dragons are programs and they can be reinforced. That's what Boosted is, everything Cyberse Dragon has and strengthened. Boosted also reacts to attacks but differently. For a price of 1000 LP, he can intercept Direct Attacks and downright block them as the offender is catapulted back into the hand. Boosted also comes with a stronger body of its own and also has the ability to gather more members to enhance Link Summoning capabilities. Isn't this just nice to have?

When this card is activated: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Cyberse Dragon" monster from your Deck. Once per turn, if a "Cyberse Dragon" monster is Special Summoned: You can target 1 Spell/Trap card on the field; banish it. Once, during your End Phase: You can target 1 "Cyberse Dragon" monster you control or in your GY; add it to your hand.

Note: Field Spells are a popular way to make powerful cards and get engines going and this is no exception. Upon activation System allows you to gather members for Link Summoning. Special Summoning is easy for Cyberse Dragon and when it happens, System will help make things more smoothly by removing threats. This will potentially disrupt opponent's on their turn or even during your own turn when you advance your forces. Finally System helps you put your Cyberse Dragons where you want them, the hand for them to keep disabling the opponent.

Send 1 "Cyberse Dragon" monster from your hand or field to the GY; draw 2 cards. You can only activate 1 "Cyberse Dragon Start-Up" per turn.

Note: Cyberse Dragon need some way to speed their game and that's what Start-Up does. Being a QP makes it a flexible card. Up to you to make the most of it, but it will not fail you.

Special Summon as many non-Link "Cyberse Dragon" monsters from your GY that were sent there this turn. You can only activate 1 "Cyberse Dragon Restart" per turn.

Note: Restart true to its name does exactly that. It resets the conditions on your field by returning your Cyberse Dragon into the field. This helps you both with Link Summoning or just to gather your forces for a big finish!! You can combo this upon Link Summoning or with Start-Up for amazing results.

[spoiler=The Updates]

2 "Cyberse Dragon" monsters
This card gains 200 ATK for each other monster on the field. Once per turn when a monster is targeted for an attack or by a monster effect (Quick Effect): You can negate that attack or card effect, and if you do, inflict 800 damage to the controller of the monster whose attack or effect was negated.

Note: Any program can be updated and Cyberse Dragon is no exception. Updated to version 2, it becomes better and stronger. 2 is able not only to intercept attacks but also monster effects and punishes whoever does either. Not only that, it adjusts to the conditions of the field and becomes stronger as well!! Pretty simple monster but it packs a punch.

Attack Name: Blaster Roar Plus ; Effect Name: Stop Roar

+2 "Cyberse Dragon" monsters
This card gains 200 ATK for each other monster on the field. Once per turn: You can send 1 "Cyberse Dragon" monster you control to the GY, that this cards points to; send 1 card your opponent controls to the GY. If this card is destroyed (either by battle or by card effect): You can target 1 "Cyberse Dragon" monsters in your GY; add it to your hand.

Note: If there is a version 2, then so there can be a 3. Version 3 is a good monster to have as not only it has a bigger body and can grow even stronger. It can get rid of threats pretty nicely. Whereas previous versions of Cyberse Dragon waited for the opponent to act, 3 requires no such thing as it can attack by itself and clean the way up for you to pummel the opponent hard. This may weaken him but with 2600 as a base body, he won't go down too easily.

Attack Name: Blaster Roar Over Plus ; Effect Name: Duos Deletion

Hope you like the new embodiment of the progress of Link VRAINS ;)
