Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can target 1 card this card points to; destroy it, then inflict 500 damage to your opponent. Once per turn, if a card you control is destroyed: You can target 1 card on the field; destroy it, then inflict 1000 damage to your opponent. If this card in your Extra Monster Zone is destroyed: You can inflict 1500 damage to your opponent. You can only use this effect of "Blade Wing Dragon" once per turn.

Quick Effect: You can send 1 card this card points to to the GY, then target 1 card on the field; return it to the hand. This card's name becomes "Harpie Lady" while it is on the field or in the Graveyard.

Someone's going to have to vote A or B to move on; I might have to again. (Would be nice to encourage 1v1 voting, but this place's been dead for a while).

(After this tournament ends, I'm going to debate on whether or not Leaderboard should keep going or you guys just 1v1 however you want, considering the activity lately and the postseason being several months behind schedule.)

 

Card A

 

Here, we have a monster that only works in the EMZ (well, to its fullest capacities and burn), but rest of the card is generally okay. I have some concern about this being able to trigger off its own destruction effects (blow up a linked card and burn, then destroy another one + burn, though this is on you blowing up your own stuff). Then again, I suppose it does punish your opponent for blowing your stuff up too. In general, iffy on the Drancia-esque destruction effect, even if it is limited to linked areas. (It should be alright though, considering that it's limited in where it can snipe.) Only things this loses out on in a MMZ is only being able to destroy a linked EMZ monster and the 1.5k burn. The other effect still remains.

 

Card B

 

At minimum, this is 1700 ATK which isn't too bad for a Link 2 (not counting if you swarm with more and get Harpie Lady 1 out; boost itself isn't too bad). Because it also becomes a Harpie Lady, you have Hysteric Party/Sign support too (among other stuff). Other effect combos with Divine Wind if you really wanted to bounce your own stuff, though like with card A, there is some concern about it being a Quick effect (remember Kirin, even with the hard OPT). Granted, it is limited to one shot per turn because of Link markers, but...

 

Least it's generally live no matter what.

 

Would be nice if there were more viable WIND decks, but there aren't outside Harpies, MPB and idk about Yosens; probably not for them in this era. I mean, it still works though.

Both are good in their own right, but I'm going to vote B for balancing issues (A is great, but I have concerns over the destruction effects being combinable and the burn amounts being rather high). Granted, it is also dependent on WIND decks, but still doable.

 

So...that means Belle gets this one and moves on to L3, where they'll fight whoever loses between Dova and AEZ.
