Triple post incoming! Some of you are probably aware that this RP was...in flux...for a short time this evening, but things settled down. We will be continuing, but there will be several things changing. First, this RP will now have a co-host. Please welcome Dad as your new co-host! He is incredibly talent and will no doubt prove invaluable. Next, I am working on a bit of an infodump for everyone as there seems to be a bit of a disconnect as to what our characters are. So stay tuned for that. Thanks for your patience.

[spoiler=The Emperor]

Name: Tagas

Age: 19

Gender: Male

[spoiler=Appearance]e5f9a3bd1ffff65c6726b82fb404f8b4.jpg

Tagas stands at a massive 7 foot, 5 inches (226.06 cm) and weighs 357 pounds (161 kg). His eyes are a dull red and his hair is a reddish brown. On his chest is a large scar, one that extends from his left shoulder to his right thigh. It's a large and noticeable thing, which he makes no effort to hide.

[spoiler=Personality]

Tagas believes himself superior to all others, due to being a hybrid of the king of fossil pokemon and humanity. He is very eager to show off his strength and prove to others that he is 'The Emperor'. He is very hard working, using a lot of his spare time to strengthen his body with exercise and training. Despite the very uncaring front he puts up in front of others, he is dedicated to controlling his powers and becoming stronger. He hates not being in control of a situation, and will always try to place himself at the top of any food chain, be it metaphorical or literal.

In contrast to his initially violent and sometimes cruel nature, Tagas appreciates opponents that are worthy and of strong character, and greatly despises taking unfair or dishonest advantages in combat. Despite his towering presence and disagreeable personality, he has a bit of a soft spot for cute things/kids. After all, in his mind, an Emperor must protect his people. He has no issues fighting women, believing in the mantra 'talk sheet, get hit,'.

Combat Information

DNA Donor: Tyrantrum

[spoiler=Mutations]His Greater Mutation is the ability to fire energy blasts from his body, due to being part dragon. He can rapidly fire weak blasts, or charge for a more powerful blast.

His minor mutations included enhanced strength and his mighty tail.

[spoiler=Pokemon]

Hitmonchan (Mac)

Mimikyu (Quick)

Personal Information

x393wz.jpg

Name: Moxie

Age: 24

Gender: Female

[spoiler=Appearance]

Image

5'11"

[spoiler=Personality]

Moxie is a very rough and tumble kind of girl. She seems to have no shortage in terms of confidence and tends to come off as rather cocky and snide. While she acts pretty friendly towards others, this is easily misconstrued as having much more aggressive intent behind it due to how she carries herself. She doesn't have much regard for other's personal space, nor does she generally care about whether or not what she's doing makes someone uncomfortable. Being rude, blunt and not having much tact, she can tend to be very hard to get along with. This is only made worse as she has very little tolerance towards insults towards her, and is a bit quick to temper.

When Moxie's anger tends to not come out as explosive, only rather more condescending and annoyed than anything else, though if prodded enough she'll resort to physical violence. In addition to this, Moxie had an absolute love of fighting. She both enjoys testing her abilities and sparring against someone more than any other pastime. However, her fights tend to be short or they end violent. When angered or merely when really getting into something, she has a tendency to lose control. Her emotions go through crazy highs, either of joy or rage, and during these highs she is very difficult to subdue or calm down through anything other than force.

x393wz.jpg

Combat Information:

x393wz.jpg

DNA Donor: Krookadile

[spoiler=Mutations]

Greater Mutation:

Emulating the power of both  the moves Bulldoze and Earthquake, Moxie is able to unleash excessive amounts of force in her punch and leave a shock wave that pulses out from the center of impact. While this power isn't literally super strength, though she is much stronger than the average human, it more or less emulates the same effect.

Lesser Mutation:

While she already has a ferocious demeanor when battling, things only get worse as the fight goes on. While Moxie is in combat, the longer she remains in it the stronger she becomes and the more aggressive and savage she becomes as well.

Personal Information

x393wz.jpg

Name: Chameleon

Age: 21

Gender: Male

[spoiler=AppearancePlease place into spoiler and include a paragraph including any details or changes not covered in the image. If you do not include a picture please be sure to adequately describe your character. All characters where loose fitting white linen clothing while under the care of De Novo Labs

[spoiler=Personality] Spoiler. 2 paragraph minimum.

[spoiler=Biography] Spoiler. 2 paragraph minimum. Please only send this portion to me privately. Your character should have very little, to no knowledge of the information here because in the process of priming them for experimentation, their episodic and autobiographical memory was wiped. This means they have no knowledge of who they are or where they came from. However, they left their semantic and procedural memory in tact, so they still have all the knowledge that they had before and if they knew how to cook and/or how to swim, then they still know how to cook and/or swim. But, they don't have the personal memories associated with those experiences.

DNA Donor: Ditto

[spoiler=Mutations]

Greater Mutation: Chameleon is able to take on the appearance of any other human he sees. This only includes things that are visible to him, however he can approximate for things out of sight (i.e. features hidden under clothes). However, there are limits to how often he can change, as overuse of this ability destabilizes the molecular bonds of which his DNA is comprised.

[spoiler=No Equal]

"If you refuse to say something useful, you can do us both a favor by shutting up."

Personal Information

Name: Fang

Age: 19

Gender: Female

[spoiler=Appearance]rYJH321.jpg
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 129 pounds

[spoiler=Personality]In life, there are people who want to have fun, and people who care more about winning than enjoying themselves. Fang very much constitutes a case of the latter. With a nigh-chronic poker face, a harsh monotone voice, and no real desire to express herself, Fang could almost be mistaken for a robot programmed purely to win at any cost. She does of course have emotions, just like any other human being. However, in addition to her lack of desire to express herself, Fang is just one of those people who has trouble telling or showing others how they feel. Which is fine by her. Fang wants victory, not friendship. Describing her feelings to somebody and getting attached would only weigh her down. The only form of attachment Fang cares about is a rivalry or a partnership. Rivals are benchmarks to surpass, and partnerships are people meant to be used however Fang deems most fitting.

When Fang does something, she goes all-in, hellbent on being the best at anything and everything. To Fang, however, "the best" doesn't just mean "perfect". When Fang wins, she needs to be the only winner; nobody's allowed to be as good as her. So how does one beat somebody just as perfect at something as she may become? Sabotage. When Fang says she'll do anything to win, she means it, even if it means undermining the competition. She wouldn't hestitate to bribe, steal, and sabotage her way to not only perfection, but to being the only perfect person. Because of her thirst for supremacy at everything, Fang takes challenges from others very seriously, and while she's perfectly likely to betray others if she thinks it's in her best interests, people who betray her instead commonly find themselves met with a retaliating Fang. However, broken bones or bruises aren't really Fang's thing. Fang prefers a different kind of retaliation.

To Fang, information is everything. It tells her a person's weak points she can exploit, strengths to plan against, and how to best handle any given situation. She's very much a "knowledge is power" type of girl, and anyone she thinks will be a problem for her is somebody she'll study extensively. If she ends up being betrayed by such a person, Fang won't hesitate to strike back by using her information to hit them where it hurts the most, without actually causing any bodily harm. In the same vein, she's perfectly fine listening to others talk about themselves, but isn't so keen on being the one talked about. Since Fang has no way of knowing who is or isn't out to be better than her, she prefers to play it safe and assume everyone is her rival in some form. Therefore, any information others get about her can and most likely will be used against her. While it's definitely a sign of paranoia, Fang's logic isn't something she likes others questioning.

With that being said, even a victory machine like Fang needs hobbies that aren't just winning. Although she doesn't really get the chance as a Gemini, Fang is fond of diving in the ocean. The ocean to her is a whole new world, separate from the rivals and greed of the surface. It's like her getaway, so she likes to go diving whenever she has the chance. It also helps that there are always rare treasures to find under the sea, and being a rather greedy girl, Fang is more than happy to collect these treasures, keep the ones she likes, and sell the rest to the highest bidder. Not that she's one to spill the beans on her hobby.

Combat Information

DNA Donor: Sharpedo

[spoiler=Mutations]Greater: Fang's namesake teeth and skin have been mutated to become more like that of Sharpedo. Her skin is rough, and can hurt if she hits you. Her teeth, meanwhile, have become sharp fangs capable of easily ripping through flesh. This has the side effect of making it difficult to chew fruits and veggies, effectively putting Fang on a mostly-meat diet, with nutrient supplements to make up for anything she misses out on by not being able to eat fruits and vegetables. In addition to the rough texture of her skin, just beneath Fang's elbows and knees are vents capable of creating bursts of high-pressure water from special sacs that exist in her limbs.

Lesser: Fang's cheeks have been mutated to gain gills. These enable her to breathe underwater indefinitely. She can even sleep underwater!

Other Information

Battle theme

Although she never caught one, Fang's favorite Pokemon is Sharpedo.

Fang's been rather irritable since becoming a Gemini. She dislikes the feel of most materials against her skin, and linen is by no means an exception.

Although her teeth are her main weapon, Fang doesn't like using them in a fight. She thinks biting a person or wild Pokemon is way too barbaric for her, and that doing so could make her sick.

[spoiler=Valentina Bianchi]

 eky2h7r.png

Medically trained, maternal, and perhaps a little manically misguided, Valentina Bianchi is a natural caretaker. She found herself in the service of De Novo Labs after being kicked out of residency in her second year. They had found her stalking ex-patients she had previously taken care of, the only statement she gave on the matter was that: “She had to make sure her babies were okay.” The babies in question were full-grown adults, but, to her, they were her responsibility. Somewhere on the spectrum between endearing and alarming, Valentina not only feels the need to help those around her, but to take them under her wing, to nurture as a mother does.

She is, for the most part, a warm and kind person. However, she values her rules and does not like when they are broken. So, despite preferring a gentle smile, Valentina is not afraid of delivering strict punishments. The problem with this is that she is not able to properly distinguish when, and to whom, her rules should not apply. She fixates on minor things and tends to get caught up in them, turning them into huge ordeals.

Valentina has been the Lead Caretaker for Project: Gemini since the beginning and has been with each of the Hybrids since, what she dubs, their ‘births’. She views each one of them as her child and her responsibility to take care. She values the relationship she has with them to an unhealthy degree and will do anything to protect.

[spoiler= Red Queen]

"Very well, perhaps a short lesson then?"

Personal Information

Name:Blade Saber

Age: 20

Gender: Female

[spoiler=Appearance:]

5a3a16dd59c874dc5868a6b527ab4e3c--red-or

Height: 5'7

Weight: 128 lbs

Along with shifting her pupils into vertical slits, Saber's pokemon genes have caused her nails to grow stronger and faster than any human's. Though she keeps them well kept to maintain her dignified appearance despite how much work is required to do so.

[spoiler=Personality:]

A fine example of who Saber is as a person can be found in the origin of her handle. Immediately stating that the name 'Blade' was simply too crude for a lady such as herself, she quickly demanded she be called 'Saber', and refused to carry on with the introductory process until this demand was met.

Saber carries herself with what spectators would describe as an enchanting air of dignity and grace, yet she is notoriously sarcastic and condescending to those that she considers to be lower than herself, and will always expect the highest standards of formality when conversing with her. Though it seems this is sense of formality and respect is for the most part a one way street. Often times addressing those around her by almost childlike nicknames, her haughty attitude and caustic sense humor definitely make her an acquired taste.

Usually brandishing a bored expression, Saber finds enjoyment in the things one would expect from a classy lady, such as creating art and sitting down for a cup of tea. Though she also views combat as form of entertainment, and is always ready to demonstrate her strength to prove that she isn't just talking like she's better than those around her, but is the genuine issue. An Alpha B**** in true form. Being more of a tactician than a brawler, Saber prefers to user her speed and smarts to gracefully defeat her foes and will often times spend the beginning of her fights testing and mocking her opponent to find openings.

Despite her regal and somewhat cold demeanor, Saber finds certain over the top character traits rather entertaining, and will often times take a liking to individuals who brandish such traits. Saber is rather skilled and reading people, and things like unbreakable determination, dogged loyalty, and tendencies to selflessly protect others are some examples of characteristics that she finds respectable. Although she doesn't really desire to develop such traits for herself, she will treat people who do with favor. Even going as far as to ignore any mannerisms from them that would usual prompt her to attempt to teach the offender "a lesson" (Which is what she likes to call the act of putting her claws up someones rear end in a disciplinary fashion...).

[spoiler=Biography:]

Combat Information:

DNA Donor: Weavile

[spoiler=Mutations:]

Greater Mutation: Saber's greater mutation manifests in her ability to generate a metallic armor around her legs and arms that has tested positive to being nearly identical the the substance projected when pokemon make use of moves such as Metal Claw, Iron Tail, and Steel Wing. Supernaturally light despite their durability and cutting power, these claws generated by Saber's mutation do no inhibit her mobility in the slightest and can be partially generated at will to conserve stamina when the entire set is not required.

Secondary Mutation: Saber's Weavile genes have caused her to develop agility and reflexes comparable to her donor. What her tiny body lacks in power she more than makes up for with her speed. Though like most small and fast pokemon, her stamina is on the lower end of the spectrum, putting her at disadvantage during prolonged battles.

[spoiler=Dr. Morgan Hunt]

Personal Information:

Name: Morgan Hunt

Age: 56

Gender: Male

[spoiler=Appearance]

BFgwXmk.png

Standing at 5’9”, Dr. Hunt’s reputation makes him seem much taller than he actually is. He carries himself with a sense of self-assuredness that imposes the size of a giant, rather than that of a man. He has maintained his very sharp features, despite his waning youth, and takes care to maintain a pristine presentation of himself.

[spoiler=Personality]

Punctuality. Poise. Perfection. Morgan Hunt is a man of science and has always believed that these are the qualities necessary to not just be a successful scientist, but to be successful in any venture. It is a mantra his father taught him, and his father before that. The Hunt family has always been curious by nature, and down the line they refined the process of discovery to an art form. In the words of Morgan Hunt, it all starts with timing.

Punctuality. Discovery is a fickle mistress because she cannot be called on too early, nor can she be beckoned too late. The moment must always be just right for hard work to turn into something marvelous. Punctuality, a minor thing to most, is actually a testament to one’s assuredness of self. Too early, and one reveals themself to be desperate; too late, and one reveals themself to be unreliable. However, there is a small point in time, no matter the occasion, that if one manages to take advantage of, they not only leave a more self-assured impression but are more likely to succeed at a given task. This is what Morgan Hunt values and has spent years mastering.

Poise. That of a glacier, forever frozen and forgotten by the sun, Morgan Hunt has the unsettling tendency to never appear unsettled. Leadership, he believes, cannot show weakness, and so he does not. He is careful to always appear in control and even when taken by surprise, he rolls with the punches with a practiced ease until he can regain control of the situation. There is a fierce intelligence behind his eyes that should one stare at too long they may actually see the moves ahead he is planning. He is nothing, if not prepared.

Perfection. The constant and never-ending pursuit, but also the embodiment of, perfection is both the process and the goal. Morgan is effortlessly efficient, goal-oriented, and emotionlessly calculative; he has but one goal and that is to achieve perfection, whilst working as close to it as possible. He has achieved many great successes in his life, but that means nothing to him.

[spoiler=Biography]

There are few moments in a person’s life that they can point to and say was a turning point for them. For most people, change happens gradually, life rarely does an about face, and when it does, it rarely has our best interests in mind.

Morgan Hunt was the only child born to a couple of scientists, whom in turn were children of scientists, whom were of children of scientists. In short, Morgan Hunt was the latest in a dynasty of scientists. He grew up curious, learning about the world and how it worked. Perhaps it was in his genes, or a product of his environment, but Morgan Hunt was a natural scientist. Or, at least, he seemed to be at the age of 10.

His father was a geneticist, both human and Pokémon. His mother, a Pokécologist and behavioral expert. Everyday, after school, Morgan was supposed to help his mother with her work. She was studying how migratory Grass type Pokémon affected the pollination of flora in a given environment, which required a lot of sample collecting. Morgan was supposed to get off of school at 3 and be at the lab at 4, his parents kept him to a strict schedule. They figured if he wanted to help with their research he had to be held accountable. However, one day Morgan did not come to the lab, he wanted to play games with his friends after school, so he just didn’t show up that afternoon.

His mother went to collect samples without him when he didn’t show up. That afternoon, she was mauled by a startled Zangoose. She died two days later in the hospital. Morgan blamed himself for the attack. He believed he should have been there with her, as did his father. Morgan was never late for anything ever again.

After her death, Morgan started to work with his father. Morgan had always been a bright kid, but had never shown interest in genetics. However, he did not dare speak out against his father. After the death of his mother, he had gone a bit mad with grief. His father believed that he could somehow resurrect Morgan’s mother. Morgan knew this was just his father’s inability to cope with his loss, but he indulged him.

For years, they worked together on a fruitless project, a project that Morgan knew was going nowhere. However, Morgan gathered as much knowledge as he could from it all. Because, like his father, he had been shaped by that moment. He knew there was no bringing his mother back. However, he could make it so that human beings were no longer at risk. He could make them stronger. He could make them perfect.

After his father died, he founded a small company with what little money was left to him, New Genesis. Over the years, it grew into a multi-billion dollar industry. Slowly, Morgan accumulated the resources to achieve what he had been working for. He codenamed the project, Project: Transcendence. He had founded the perfect partner, Doctor Genevieve Masters. She was brilliant and willing to do anything to achieve perfection. However, as they were on the precipice of success. Everything fell apart, Project: Transcendence failed and the public caught wind of the off-the-books operation.
