This is the best website ever! can someone tell me where to go to post the one piece deck I made to see if it's too OP? Also when is duel portal coming back?

Welcome to YCM, Yujo! I'm Yui, your fellow Yu- person, and also the moderator General and its related sections who mostly hangs out in RP despite that.

 

Before you go any further, make sure you read up on the site rules, as well as the section rules for any section you'll likely be visiting a lot. Your One Piece deck, for instance, would go in Casual Multiples. Word of advice before you post it though: Don't post the whole thing at once. Nobody likes reading a bunch of cards all at once. Start with like two or three, then trickle in new ones every now and then. Looking at the deck a few cards at a time really helps people piece it together and better digest the information, like writing an essay in multiple paragraphs instead of just one giant block of text. Kind of like what I'm doing right now :)

 

Anyway, rules and sections aside, if you end up with any questions about stuff, don't hesitate to ask a moderator or member you notice is a frequent presence in the section the question is about. You can identify us mods by our bold names in the online users panel at the bottom of the forum's main page, or by the staff banners under our avatars. With my normal welcome shtick well and done with, be good, don't make an ass of yourself, and most importantly, have fun on YCM!

As a CC moderator (well, the only one) and active veteran in the section, yeah, don't post the entire thing (or really, make us grade more than 15 cards altogether). But even then, multiples tend to be more dead than the rest of the area.

 

Anyway...welcome to YCM.

 

Yui already mentioned reading the rules; if you come into CC, there's a lot of them that you need to be aware of. Advanced and Casual have mildly different policies based on the level of play, but most are uniform throughout. Ask me about it if you have questions.

Just as a quick clarification, Trebuchet MS is a moderator for the CC section. Sakura must have just had a slip of mind. Admittedly, he isn't as active, but I thought it should be cleared up.

 

As for myself, I'm Parenthesis. I can be vaguely helpful in RP (less so than Yui) slightly helpful in CC (less so than Sakura) and potentially helpful in Graphics (less so than BT). I mainly specialize in reminding mods that other mods exist.

 

That said, I know my way around and have a sort of anti-authority chic kinda thing going on, so feel free to PM me if you want to know anything about the site.

I edited the post last night concerning Treb's status, but due to circumstances surrounding him at this time which will be announced later [not sure if I noted this in the mod thread, but now you know], he wasn't initially mentioned. I didn't forget about him.

 

But in terms of CC stuff, if you need help with knowing policies, ask me (since I did write the rules in their current form). Other than that, if you need help with general design, you can ask, but if I'm not around (usually am, except certain periods when I'm either sleeping, doing errands in state capital or at work), Black's usually good about card design (and is a former CC mod). 

 

If you want to test out your cards, there's Duel Portal (the forum for which can found beneath Advanced). A sub-area of that is a Duel Portal format, which Parenthesis and two other users run. Right now, it's inactive due to DP itself being down right now (unless it came back up) and other things pertaining to the format. You can ask the above user for more details on that if interested.
