No Level3~4 Fusion(s) in the Extra Deck for Rank4 plays with IF or whatever?

And I see you didn't go for this trick with Toon Table of Contents to activate the Magibullets.

Wait: no TGU? at worst a Rank3, at best it searches a target for Brethen.

Are Omega and Vermillion so important for the deck that instant fusion is worth using? You've not got anything to return to the grave and Vermillion is just a pop.

Omega returns sheet banished by desires, which is adorable. Also it's kinda just a good card, and IF triggers the monsters.

I could, because this ED is almost completely irrelevant. Not much gained, honestly, but pmuch nothing lost.

It's super not worth it.

Neither of those are worth a normal summon in this deck. TGU absolutely goes in with sangan once links are a thing, though.

I've heard word that Toon Table of Contents is a pretty spicy card to be working with Magibullets. Also, you might want to really consider Rival Arrival; having the extra Normal Summon is going to be nice, another S/T to work off their effects, and just overall a lot of spicy stuff you can do with it. I'm not too sure about Brethren in this deck, but I guess practice outweighs theory. Same with having 3 Desires.

You have like 2 things that weakly interact with the grave, and you're losing field presence to do so. Is that really worth it?

lol Brethren is absolutely worth it. If you get Caspar + Doctor on the field you can alternate between the pop one, the negate one and whatever you need in the moment (Devil's Deal if you opponent has boardwipes, the ATK doubler for pushing etc)

Field presence is a joke tbh, but no, it isn't worth it. This deck would be better without all that silly sheet, honestly.

Yeah I heard the same, but tested it and it super isn't worth it. Unless you bricked bad you don't need to set off 4 shooters with 1 card.

Aside from dropping zamiel to push for damage, I am pretty certain that it is just worse than double summon in here.

It's awesome. You can still search off of caspar, recycle sheet with doctor, and do whatever the funk kid does, and this deck is totally okay with just having some mediocre atk monsters.

Same with having 3 Desires.

Any desires after the first in here probably won't work, but I don't care because even getting a dead desires off of the first one balances out to a +0. Gas is good.

Wait, is Zamiel actually worth running? I used to run it, but it literally never did anything.

I mean, he isn't amazing, and honestly the effect only comes up every other game or so, but double summon makes him stupidly easy to play, including off of brethren openings.

Plus it is super cool to use never-endorphin on him and cross-dominator something like crystal wing for a free 5k. Not even terribly relevant, but cool as funk.

I also like that he is a monster that I don't feel like garbage for putting above devil's deal, but that's just me.

IDK but couldn't Chain Summoning be an option here? I mean, any Spell/Trap + Magibullet should make it live already, right? Spell/Trap is SS1, Magibullet is SS2, unless I'm getting something wrong. But then, IDK if Magibullet will really benefit from getting more than 1 Normal Summon, not to mention you can't play the Spell right away to trigger a Magibullet.

You mad funking genius, I am gonna see how well that works.

Honestly, I doubt it will be amazing, but it sounds hype as funk, and helps enable my insistence to run Zamiel.

The Shooters start a new chain. Realized just as I was putting it in.

Bummer.

I also realized that even if it worked, t it would rarely activate a Magibullet on the field as you would need an additional Magibullet on board already, so that may have gotten in the way too, but IDK.

I'm reading the Magibullet's activation condition, and do they really start a new chain? I would think the effect is chained to the activated Spell/Trap, similar to True Draco Dinomight's. If they started a new chain, the clauses would read as "If a Spell/Trap resolves..."; I'm guessing they are not coded properly in YGOPro.

No, this is the correct wording for starting a new chain. If they chained to whatever they triggered off, the wording would include a "during either player's turn" (for the true dracos) or "(Quick Effect)" for the modern wording. It says activated rather than resolved because the effects still trigger if the thing gets negated and therefore doesn't resolve.

Rival Arrival has the advantage over Double Summon in that it can be used on your opponent's turn for bypassing HOPTs. However, it can't be used on your first turn going first, and it seems rather easy for your opponent to play around.

Field Presence isn't a joke. If you use Caspar as Synchro material, you now no longer control Caspar, which unless you can get him back, severely hurts your plays next turn and potentially the turn after that. And since you missed 1-2 turns of Caspar searches, it becomes more difficult to recover from not having Caspar. Same goes for Doctor and the Level 4 that summons stuff from the deck.

Ah, right, they don't have any Quick Effect clause. It's still a bummer, then; they should have gone all-out with Magibullets, IMO :v

This deck keeps me thinking: if you don't really need an Extra Deck, could you make use of it in some other way? Like, Domain of Monarchs is a funny idea, but perhaps something else. Seal of Orichalcos? xD

Alternatively, what about Invokeds? IDK, Magibullet spam may be effective, but I still have this feeling the deck is missing something, or that it could be improved with a "secret tech/engine", something that gives it an extra kick.

As trigger effects, they can activate in the damage step, which the True Draco effects can't. So they are actually better this way in some ways. Then again, if they were quick effects, you could chain Star to Ties. You win some, you lose some.

Once Links get thrown into 'pro, those spells that summon out tokens for free might be good for these.

Anyways, how about Soul Charge? Or do these not end up in the GY enough for that?

I suppose could run Foolish, I guess? Easy to proc + it helps out lady gunslinger since her effect will activate after foolish resolves, but otherwise more/less same purpose as Upstart here.

Haven't gotten to try it, but could Summoner Monk work? Additional means of getting out Star early considering this build looks highly focused on getting your stuff out first rather than breaking opponent's boards.

Kinda just throwing things at the wall to see what sticks, tbh.

Not really. They don't really summon much from ED, so linked zones don't give much, and mostly links are just a way to clear the board.

It wouldn't really add anything to the deck.

If I wanted this effect I would still be running brilliant fusion (and I would if not for lack of links making seraphinite dead on board. Black and I have talked about brilliant fusion as a tech, but at the moment I'm preferring double summon.

Star is a means to landing Caspar. Summoner Monk is just a drain on resources.
