Wait, Striker is alive? CODE RED! CODE RED! [AMA]

Recommended Posts

1. Thoughts on the economy and state of the US right now? (You can use this to vent about Trump or something too)

2. What do you think YCM needs to retain new members for longer than a couple days?

[spoiler=To go with your major]

3. In a random sample of 250 players who have frequent criticisms about Konami's design policies, 224 of them said that Konami must design proof / playtest their own designs first. In a random sample of 120 players who do not criticize as much (if at all), 107 say that Konami must design proof / playtest their designs. Within a 90% confidence limit, does this suggest that players who are heavily critical of Konami's designs require them to do so more than those who are more chill with designs?

[Note that these statistics are likely false and may not actually represent what players think of Konami as a whole. If you prefer, just replace Konami and the playerbase with something related to workers and wanting to change company policies at a generic company.]

4. The standard weight of a standard curly fries order at a resort park food establishment is 12 oz with a standard deviation of 3 oz. Out of a sample of 21 curly fries given to customers, what is the chance that a randomly picked one will be more than 12 oz?

You can ignore the last two if you want, but if you want to, might be something you are familiar with.

1. I'd rather not right now. I got some of my own stuff to deal with than worry about the US as a whole. Oregon's SB 719 peeked my interest though and not in a good way.

2. Hmm, YCM has already tried a fair bit tbh. Opening up social groups to accommodate more people may help, but that can't be forced. *shrugs*

What kept you away for so long? Just wondering :P

Um, YCM hasn't fully kept me interested for some time. I mean, I don't have a lot of friends here unlike my fellow vets. Other than that, not sure.

Who are you?

Who am I? Who am I? I believe the question is who are you? You appear to be new, so I'll forgive your transgressions. Now run along before I change my mind.

Anyway, I'm just an old vet that has been here for over 8 years. Chairman of the Leaderboard, former CC mod, former degenerate of C/O, etc. I've done a fair bit around here, but eh.

What are your thoughts about Eevee and its evolutions?

I don't play Pokemon, so I can't answer this question. Sorry. ^^:

First thing that popped into my head upon seeing the title:

What's your favorite genre of music?

I enjoy a variety of rock genres. My top 3 are Alternative, 80's, and Metal. Though, I'm more of a per song and not a per band fellow.

I thought metal was its own genre?

I heard you ran 1v1 card contests. Looks like Sakura's been taking over for you while you were gone. Are you planning on doing more of these now that you're back?

He's technically Leaderboard Chairman (or running the Leaderboard thing for that section); he doesn't have any forum jurisdiction in there. That power still resides with me.

For a short time, he DID have it, but stuff happened.

Oh right, and other question.

If the aforementioned incident never occurred, would you have chosen to remain or not?
