Saving / Downloading a Thread

Dad

Question

Specifically, in the event of a permanent crash, i have some work I'd like to keep and finish (my fic). Is there a way to download the entire thread or would I have to keep copying and pasting it in a Google doc?

At least on my phone, if I hold a link instead of just clicking it I get the option to download it, and that downloads whatever page the link is to and is then always viewable offline. Presumably right-clicking on desktop would give the same option.

My. African American associate. I'll try it.

You could save the web pages themselves as .html if you wanted. I'm not sure how many pages it spans, but it's an option. (As mentioned by Enguin)

Copying everything into a doc/word/notepad is probably the better option, but as you mentioned it would be tedious.

Keep in mind, even if the site goes down, previous versions are available using archival services such as the way back machine. Assuming you aren't typing this on-site, you can save it elsewhere before posting, and the archives give you plenty of leisure on saving the backlog.

It worked. Thanks.

Think this is exactly what I'm gonna do. I'm going to back up everything just in case and also use the html save. Thanks y'all.
