Add 1 Insect monster from your Deck or GY to your hand. You can banish this card from your GY, except the turn this card was sent to the GY; Special Summon 1 Insect monster from your GY, but it cannot declare an attack this turn.

Not sure if serious because it's an Insect ROTA with no Level restrictions on what it can grab + Insect monster reborn. Even if you nerfed it to grabbing Level4 or lower Insects, put a hard OPT to it, and removed the reborn effect, it would still be really good because ROTAs are just that good and IMO it's better to leave the Type ROTAs to Konami; not to mention it would be a bland card. I'm not saying ROTAs are bad, but at least not make the search as broad as a Type with no other restrictions.

Seems a bit uninspired. Insects have a bunch of searching, but not searching in a way that's fast enough. What you need to do is exploit what the cards already have and do something with it.

I made this card for an Insect archetype but not as an archetype card for example:

Anteater's Party Invitation

Spell Card

Special Summon 2 Level 4 or lower EARTH Insect monsters with different names from your Deck in Attack Position. Their ATK becomes 0, and are destroyed during the End Phase. You cannot Special Summon monsters from your Deck or Extra Deck for the rest of the turn.

With this card, you can Special Summon Insects like Resonance Insect and Retaliating "C", both with Sangan-esc effects that search insects. The problem is that it's typically slow, so you have to capitalize it by using Tribute effects so you can get the searches from those monsters quicker. I did that by making a LV archetype full of Insects that would tribute Insects for advantage.

This card could just be an Insect searcher with a revival effect for the next turn, but you could do more than that.

You could:

- Put a level restriction

- Give it a cost

- Add a once per turn clause

- Give it more of a Name and Type consideration

- Relate the card to the name

For example, here would be an edited version of the effect.

Spider Vapor

Normal Spell

Special Summon 1 Insect monster from your deck. Then, send it to the GY.

You can banish this card, except the turn it was sent to the GY: Special Summon 1 level 4 or lower Insect monster from your GY.

You can only activate "Spider Vapor" once per turn.

While not looking the same, if you Special Summon Resonance Insect or Retaliating "C", you can search an Insect while at the same time putting something in your GY to Special Summon off of Spider Vapor. While being more of a buff that this card really doesn't need, this is just an example of how you could improve on the design of the card.
