You can Special Summon WATER monsters from your Extra Deck into your Main Monster Zones. Your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to the Special Summon of a WATER monster. You cannot Special Summon non-WATER monsters.

 

This is interesting. This kind of effect could be implemented in all sorts of cards, even in monsters that aren't Link monsters. 

 

The problem is that it doesn't do anything else. This card is a complete -1 for convenience purposes only and in this meta game that will not do.

 

I would add an ability that's kinda like Maxx C for your Extra Deck monsters, like:

Each time you Special Summon a monster from your Extra Deck: Draw 1 card.

 

That might make the card a bit better for decks of the sort.
