Hello, fine peoples!

 

I was kinda putzing around with making a Sea Serpent Archetype for a while.  The whole issue with Atlanteans was... kinda sorta ignored for the benefit of these to work, but if they are too big a concern, I'd be willing to tweak 'em a bit, though the playstyle for these and those should be different enough that it to not be much of an issue.

Scania the Ancient One

This card is also always treated as a LIGHT monster.  If there are 2 or more different Attributes on your side of the field: you can Special Summon this card from your hand, but if you do, destroy all monsters you control that do not share an Attribute with this card.  Once per turn: you can target 1 monster your opponent controls that shares an Attribute with a monster(s) you control; that target’s ATK and DEF becomes 0 and its effects are negated, also, flip this card into face-down defense position.

This card is also always treated as an EARTH monster.  If there are 2 or more different Attributes on your side of the field: you can Special Summon this card from your hand, but if you do, destroy all monsters you control that do not share an Attribute with this card.  When this card is Special Summoned or flipped face-up: target 1 monster you control; return all face-up monsters your opponent controls that share an Attribute with that target to the hand, also, flip this card into face-down defense position.

This card is also always treated as a FIRE monster.  If there are 2 or more different Attributes on your side of the field: you can Special Summon this card from your hand, but if you do, destroy all monsters you control that do not share an Attribute with this card.  When this card is Special Summoned or flipped face-up: you can declare 1 Attribute; inflict 600 damage to your opponent, also, return a number of Spell/Trap cards your opponent controls to their hand up to the number of monsters you control with the declared Attribute, then, flip this card into face-down defense position.

This card is also always treated as a WATER monster.  If there are 2 or more different Attributes on your side of the field: you can Special Summon this card from your hand, but if you do, destroy all monsters you control that do not share an Attribute with this card.  Once per turn: you can discard 1 card; inflict 400 damage to your opponent for each different Attribute on your side of the field, then, you can destroy 1 card in your hand and gain that number of LP.  Regardless, flip this card into face-down defense position when the effect resolves.

This card is also always treated as an EARTH monster.  If there are 2 or more different Attributes on your side of the field: you can Special Summon this card from your hand, but if you do, destroy all monsters you control that do not share an Attribute with this card.  Once while this card is face-up on the field: you can target 1 monster you control; banish up to 2 monsters from your Deck with the same Attribute as that target, then flip that target into face-down defense position.  During each Standby Phase: you can add 1 monster banished by this card’s effect to your hand, but it cannot be Summoned this turn.

This card is also always treated as a WIND monster.  If there are 2 or more different Attributes on your side of the field: you can Special Summon this card from your hand, but if you do, destroy all monsters you control that do not share an Attribute with this card.  Once per turn: you can reveal any number of monsters in your hand that share an Attribute with a monster(s) you control; return a number of monsters to the owner’s hand up to the number of monsters revealed, then flip this card into face-down defense position.  Neither player can Special Summon monsters with the same name as the returned monsters for the rest of this turn.

This card is also always treated as a DARK monster.  If there are 2 or more different Attributes on your side of the field: you can Special Summon this card from your hand, but if you do, destroy all monsters you control that do not share an Attribute with this card.  If this card is Special Summoned or flipped face-up: banish this card, then target a number of monsters on the field up to the number of different Attributes you control; destroy those targets, and if you do banish them.  You cannot conduct your battle phase the turn you activate this effect.  During your next End Phase after this card is banished: you can Special Summon this card in face-down defense position.

This card is also always treated as a WIND monster.  If there are 2 or more different Attributes on your side of the field: you can Special Summon this card from your hand, but if you do, destroy all monsters you control that do not share an Attribute with this card.  Once per turn: you can banish a number of monsters from your GY up to the number of different Attributes you control; shuffle cards on each player’s side of the field into the Deck equal to the number of monsters you banished by this effect.  Flip this card into face-down defense position during the End Phase.

This card is also always treated as a WATER monster.  If there are 2 or more different Attributes on your side of the field: you can Special Summon this card from your hand, but if you do, destroy all monsters you control that do not share an Attribute with this card.  If this card is Special Summoned or flipped face-up: you can discard 1 card and target a number of face-up cards your opponent controls up to the number of different Attributes you control; Set those targets.  Cards Set by this effect cannot be flipped face-up while this card remains face-up on the field.  If this card battles, flip this card into face-down defense position at the end of damage calculation.

Ancient Renegades

Trap

Flip all face-down monsters you control into face-up attack or defense position.  Then, you can target a number of cards on the field equal to the number of different Attributes you control; destroy those targets.  All damage your opponent takes is halved until your next End Phase

 

Ancient Reboot

Spell

Special Summon any number of level 6 Sea Serpent monsters from your GY in face-down defense position.  You cannot conduct your Battle Phase the turn you activate this card.

 

Zenith of the Ancients

Field Spell

Monsters you control gain 100 ATK and DEF for each different Attribute you control.  Monsters you control cannot be destroyed by effects that do not target them.  If you control 3 or more different Attributes: this card cannot be targeted by your opponent’s card effects.

 

 

 

The playstyle of these should be fairly obvious.  Spam enough of them with the same Attributes so you don't end up killing all your advantage, but different enough to get the most of their effects.  Being entirely level 6 Main Deckers with normal level 6 stats gives them the ability to be used with or without an Extra fairly well and a bunch of the same Attribute can be put into any kind of Deck, even ones with a single Attribute.  All the monsters are supposed to touch on the theme given by its two Attributes: FIRE ones usually burn and focus on self-destruction, DARK focuses on resources in the GY/banished, etc.

 

I don't plan to add any more to this Archetype since I used up all the names the naming scheme gave me (500 points to anyone who guesses it), but, again, I'm willing to edit them.
