My Equip Warrior Deck

Recommended Posts

So, this is my equip warrior deck as it is, made for TCG (the one with no restrictions). The main strategy, needless to say, is to summon 4-star monsters with relatively high attack for their level, and boost them using equip cards.

Any suggestions for improvement would be appreciated, though it is primarily a fun deck and isn't designed to win tournaments. I don't want to change the overall theme of the deck (ie; turning it into a Ben-Kei or other type of equip archetype, or adding monsters that aren't warriors), but am looking for suggestions on balancing the ratio of types of monsters, types of spells, etc (ie: less equips and more cards that allow me to draw, or less attack-based 4 star monsters in favour of more support monsters, etc).

Alright. A few things:

1. Mystical Space Typhoon

You are only allowed one of them in your deck.

2. Gold Sarcophagus

Same

3. Raigeki

Same

4. Mage power

This is an awesome card, but that is why it is only allowed 2 in a deck

5. IMO, Goblin Attack Force isn't that great anymore. I would replace it for either another D.D. Warrior Lady or Even a Shine Knight for Level play Shenanigans.

6. You need more traps. Especially battle traps like mirror force, sakuretsu armor, ect. Other good traps you can use are Dust Tornado, Call of the Haunted, Bad Aim, Divine Wrath, Or a personal favorite: Ceasefire.

7. You need an Extra Deck. Might I suggest, Zubaba General; Scarlight Red Dragon Archefiend(only if you add tuners); Cairngorgon, Antiluminescent Knight; Number 39: Utopia; and others. These will help you out when you can't get Gillford out onto the field.

Other than these, your deck looks good to go. Hope it serves you well!

EDIT: I just saw the ED. Zubaba General was already on there. My apologies.

MST, Sarc, and Mage power are all unlimited lol.

Don't run any of the suggested traps, they are awful. Well, call of the haunted is fine compared to the others, but hasn't been great since 2015 or so.

I will try to come up with actual advice in a bit.

Immortal Bushi definitely seems like a good add, and would definitely make it easier to summon Gilford. What monster should I swap him with though?

And I personally find Goblin Attack Force useful. I don't use my equips on him (unless I really need one strong attack), but I like using him as an attack mode wall against decks that swarm with lower attack monsters, as long as I don't attack with him in my own turn. It's also a very good card to equip onto Zubaba General.

If Raigeki is limited or whatever, I can easily just swap one (or both if it's banned) for dark hole, lightning vortex, or something else that has a similar effect. The same would go for any other banned or restricted cards. When I play with friends, we don't really look at what cards or banned or limited, as long as we don't use more than three.
