"Buzz off or you're dead."

Name: Jack Hailstorm

Age:18

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Appearance: : Standing at 6’ 1”, he has broad shoulders and slight muscles. His skin is white not very tan, considering that Jack prefers the cold over the hot sun. He got his blue eyes are blue like his father’s, but his pure white hair comes from his blood line. For you see, the Hailstorm family is often known for having powerful ice users that sometimes have white hair, and Jack is one of those few.

When Jack is at the Academy he wears the Academy uniform, which consists of black dress shoes, black dress pants, a white undershirt, and a fancy blue and yellow jacket that he prefers to wear unbuttoned. When not at the academy, he wears a long, unbuttoned black leather jacket with white undershirt, causal jeans, and simple black shoes.

[spoiler=Personality]Jack used to be a happy-go-lucky kind of guy until his dream to become a world famous knight was crushed. After then he became a bit of a jerk, and he doesn't care what people think of him. He rarely smiles and has an expression of boredom on his face most of the time. The few times he does smile is with Celina. He often cuts people down with sharp insults and openly points out their flaws. Sometimes, he’ll even push people or knock them down if he’s in a rather bad mood. But as long as you don’t get in his way, he won’t bother with you.

Also, just because he’s a major jerk doesn’t mean that he’s evil. If someone is in trouble he’ll help them, but then he’ll usually walk away and ignore their thanks after helping them. Celina is trying to teach Jack not to be a jerk, but it isn’t working that well.

[spoiler=Bio]In a world far far away filled with magical creatures and medieval weaponry and structures, but a bit more advanced in clothing, there were 22 kingdoms. After an event that almost destroyed the world, there became a large span of peace. During this span, the rulers of two kingdoms married and had a child. These two rulers were known as Frost “The Terror of the North” and Alexis “The Bloody Torturer of the Damned”, or “The Bloody Torturer” for short. As the nick name suggested, Alexis was a master in torture and had the power to control blood. While Frost was an expert in ice magic and could make it snow with a snap of his fingers. Both of them were feared greatly and had been known for taking down armies single-handedly. Despite their terrifying powers, they made surprisingly great parents.

While they did compete a little in trying to convince their son Jack to learn the powers they had (which Frost had won), they never pushed him into doing anything he didn’t want to do. By age 10 his little sister Bliss was born and his parents turned most of their attention to her. But Jack didn’t mind. He knew his little sister needed the attention and he wanted to grow up a bit. After all, he wanted to become a world famous knight, and a knight didn’t rely on his parents. When he became 13, he was sent to the Academy: A school in the kingdom of Talos where they taught the students in common education, combat, and how to control magic. It was there that his dream to become a world-famous knight was crushed. He found out through other students that his parents were two of the few people who were responsible for saving the entire world; a feat which Jack couldn’t dream to accomplish. Whether it was teen hormones, his dreams being crushed, or both, Jack suddenly had become a major jerk, even to his parents.

At the Academy, he would cut down other students and push them if they got in the way, which would cause fights. This behavior got him sent back to his parents for several weeks. During these weeks Jack bad-mouthed his parents and talked back, which rewarded him a grounding to his room. After his parents tried to talk to him and failed, Jack went back to the Academy. There he meet a girl named Celina, which he instantly told her to screw off. But despite his constant warnings and insults towards her, she kept trying to have conversation with him. Finally fed up with her constant attempts, he allowed her to converse with him. Although he made it very clear to her that they weren’t friends and to not bombard him with questions. Celina easily accepted his terms and began to have occasionally small talk with Jack. After several months of this, they each found out a bit about each other. While Celina found out about Jack’s parents, Jack found out that Celina’s dad was the king of Talos.

Finding out that they both were royalty, they started talking to each other a little more. Soon they became friends (although Jack won’t admit it) and Jack’s jerk attitude toned down a good bit, especially around Celina.

But Jack never expected that one day Celina would find a relic that teleported both of them to another world that was in the middle of a war.

Jack is done in everything except for his inventory. Haven't decided what to put in it yet.

Also, I'll hopefully get Celina done in a day or two.

Hmm... Oh! I see the resemblance now. This is gonna be interesting.

I think I got an idea where to put these two... First and Second flanks. They’ll be close to each other when the war starts.

At the moment it’s just training.

EDIT: As for inventory, it could be something other than combat items that they cherish most.

However the hell he managed to get to that stage, I dunno. Seems fair enough, though.

Gemini didn't bring a thing because apparently, he can boss it. (Not 100% about that.) I brought a war plan and some gambling chips (The latter might be useful for the Garden of Roses/Tears).

Jack is in.

The only constructive criticism I got with him is the weapons section. Can it Morph? Can it morph into anything? Weapon Background and Previous Owners if there were any.

I'm also assuming this character is also new to the RPing world.

Fix those in your own time.

EDIT: Don’t forget their first appearances on there too. If they’re new here, you should mention this franchise as their first appearance.

Yeah, they are new to the RPing world. They actually come from a story I'm writing that I'll most likely not post on YCM.

[spoiler=Daughter of a Witch]render__momoi_satsuki_by_mjssvanny-d6id6

"Hi there, the name's Celina. What's yours?"

Name: Celina Sun

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Race: Human

Appearance: With her slim, slightly curvy body, Celina stands at 5’ “4. She has slightly tanned skin, as she prefers laying out in the sun. Her hair and. . .buxom chest comes from her mother, while her scarlet red eyes(which aren’t shown in the picture) come from her father.

When at the Academy she wears the female Academy uniform, which consists of black dress shoes, a black skirt that drops down to the knees, a white undershirt, and a fancy blue and yellow jacket which she sometimes wears unbuttoned. When out and about she usually wears some form of a colorful and comfortable dress, along with a purse and either comfortable shoes or heels.

[spoiler=Personality]Celina the kind of person who would care for injured animals and help old people across the street. In other words, she’s a caring person who cares for the wellbeing of others. This sometimes means that she will neglect her own wellbeing when caring for somebody else. But while she is a kind and caring person, this doesn’t mean she won’t fight somebody who’s bad or evil. In fact, she’ll fight them with everything she’s got. She does this because she has a sense of justice and believes that evil should be taken down.

Although Celina doesn’t usually get really anger, if somebody annoys her just right, she’ll go into a very annoyed rage. This rage only lasts a few seconds before she calms down, but she has been known to show some increased strength by usually knocking out someone out in a single punch.

[spoiler=Bio]In a world far far away filled with magical creatures and medieval weaponry and structures, but a bit more advanced in clothing, there were 22 kingdoms. All these kingdoms rested on a large continent, and in the exact middle of this continent was the kingdom of Talos: One of the largest kingdoms that accepted people from all over and strived for peace. But just because they strived for peace didn’t mean they were peaceful. Ever since Talos was built it was ruled by the Sun family, who excelled in swordplay and fire magic. Under the rule of the Sun family, Talos never fell to enemy nations, nor did they lose any territory. And it’s stayed this way even with Talos’ current king, Markus Sun. Markus had become king after his father had died from old age.

It wasn’t long after his father’s death that Markus would have to prove himself as king of Talos, as 1 and a half years later, an event happened that held the fate of the entire world in the balance. Banding together with kings and queens from other kingdoms, Markus was able to save the world and bring forth an age of peace. During that time he married a powerful witch by the name of Eleanor, who had helped greatly in the process of saving the world, and together they had two kids. The oldest, a boy named Calcius, and the youngest, a girl named Celina.

Markus had faith in both of his kids to carry on the Sun legacy, but over the years, his faith fell more on Calcius. For you see, Calcius was a natural with a sword and a quick learner with fire magic while Celina was a klutz with a sword and a failure in fire magic. Seeing her father’s attention and affection shift mostly to Calcius made Celina depressed. But luckily her mother coaxed her out of it, telling her that she didn’t have to be like her brother. She could be whatever she wanted to be. Taking her mother’s words to heart, Celina studied the kind of magic she wanted to learn. Along with that, she also tried to become a better with a sword. After several clumsy attempts, she realized her problem was that the sword she had was too heavy for her to handle right. To fix this problem, she got a lighter sword with a thin blade.

As the years passed by, Celina got better in sword fighting and magic (but mostly magic). At age 13, Celina was sent to the Academy by her father so that she could perfect her swordsmanship and magic. Her brother had been at the Academy for 3 years before Celina had arrived, and he had made a name for himself. By the first minute that Celina had arrived, she had become the most popular girl there because of her brother’s reputation. This caused two major problems for her. The first problem was that because she was Calcius’ sister, who was the top student there, many people had expectations that she would become just as good as her brother. This wasn’t the case as Celina would often be late for class or make a dumb mistake. The second problem was that because she had so many “friends”, she had a hard time telling which ones were real friends and which ones were fake. In fact, it took her 7 months just to find 4 real friends. But soon, she would accidently find her 5th friend. . .sort of.

One day when she was talking and walking with her (real) friends, she accidently bumped into the one kid in the entire academy who didn’t give a crap about her. And that kid went by the name of Jack. After calling her some form of insult, he walked off while ignoring angry glances from Celina’s friends. Now you would think Celina would’ve just left Jack alone and learn to never bump into him again, right? Well you’d be wrong. Celina had saw something in Jack’s eyes. Something that told her that he was alone and angry at the world, and she wanted to change that (plus, he was a bit handsome).

So every chance she’d get, she would walk up and try to talk with Jack. This usually was followed by a simple “screw-off” or a hurtful insult. But Celina didn’t give up. She kept trying and trying until finally after several months, he agreed to converse with her.

Now on their final year at the Academy, Celina found some sort of relic and decided to show it to Jack. But never could she have guessed that this relic would teleport both of them into another world that was in the middle of a war.

[spoiler=Combat Info]Is Your Character an Underwater Fighter?: No.

Weapon Information:

sh1098.jpg

Name: Shine Spark

Weapon Info: A rapier sword made out of a light metal with a very sharp blade. It has a spell cast on it that makes it indestructible. The blade was specially made for Celina by Simon the Blacksmith; a very popular and experienced blacksmith in Talos.

Weapon Background: After finding out that the sword she was using was too heavy, she had Simon the Blacksmith make her a special rapier sword.

Base Abilities: She can sense when magic is being used and if an item is magical or not.

Fighting Style: Support. Celina prefers to stay back and provide support by using her Hex Falcons. Although, she can get into a sword fight if she has to do close combat.

Magic: Hex Circles: A special kind of magic that requires concentration. By touching something, she can place a “hex” on it. At any time she can activate the hex, which will cause a complexly designed circle to appear. The size of the hex circle depends on the amount of magic Celina uses on it. Each hex can contain a different type of spell which can be used for either an attack or as a way to slow down the enemy. She can also activate hex circles from the palm of her hands, making for a sort of projectile attack.

The hexes that Celina currently knows is Fire(unleashes a stream of flames within the hex’s circle), Electricity(same as Fire, but unleashes lighting instead), Ice(same as before but unleashes a wave of ice), Gravity(she can increase or decrease the amount of gravity inside of the circle), and Standard(which is unleashes a series of magical slices inside the circle). She’s currently trying to learn the Teleport Hex, which allows her to teleport things between Hex Circles.

Hex Falcons: Basically, she creates birds that glow brightly. The color of the glow depends on what the spell is. The birds can fly and are used to place a Hex Circle on whatever they collide with. She uses the Hex Falcons to place Hex Circles without having to get up close.

Inventory: One of several special necklaces fitted with a sun symbol made of several precious jewels. The necklaces are passed down through the Sun family as a symbol of trust. The necklace was given to her dad before she went to the Academy.

Misc: She has a crush on Jack, but won't tell him because she's too embarrassed.

Don’t worry about him, Tes. Consider him our honorary guest for the next few days. Afterwards, the person behind Flavius should also join.

EDIT: Items have been provided for the monster, though they will need to be bought again after the end of the Halloween event.

Gabriella edited, here is the second character Bradley Anderson

[spoiler=Personal Information]

Quote: “Jesus didn’t die for this.”

Name: Bradley “JoJo” Anderson

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Appearance: Bradley looks like a younger version of his brother Cooper. He wears his hair cut around the side however with a tuft of curly hair on the top. His skin is lighter like a cup of black tea with milk. His nose bares freckles as does his high cheek bones. He wears a hoody very similar to his brothers, in fact it is a gift from his brother before he went to purgatory. Bradley also has a defined muscle mass more significant than his brothers mostly from his year of training to be one of the astronauts selected for a now cancelled mission to outer space. He wears glasses that have blue rims and black arms. His favorite shirt is a long-sleeved button down that is baby blue and turquoise with yellow and black flannel lines. He wears denim jeans in various hues from red to typical black and blue.

Personality: Rude and Caring. While it seems like a contradiction it isn’t. Bradley is quick to help others, but he will complain the whole time. If you ask any of his family they will tell you Bradley can accomplish anything, what they will hesitate to admit however, is that he has a biting comment hidden behind good intentions. Cooper will never hesitate to point out that Bradley almost never does chores. His core however is his dedication and determination. Bradley self-taught himself algebra because he was committed to being the smartest person around. He can always be found nose deep in informational texts and always willing to argue a point about social injustice. He is fierce and vicious about everything that is going on.

Biography: Bradley was the one child amongst five that his parents actually planned to have. It took a year and a half for them to actually get pregnant and by that time his older siblings were already seven and five. He grew up nurtured and he didn’t become an older brother until he himself was six years old. Because of this he felt extremely isolated. Even more so when he found out his brother was a warrior descended from an ancient tribe of scientists. He always looked up to his older brother but he too wanted to be a chosen one. He wanted to help. And he was about to get his chance.

During the conflict in three gateways Bradley had found a note addressed to his brother. He immediately took it to him. Cooper was apprehensive at first since his duty was to Gabriella, not the afterlife, but he felt his soul cry out to help and he jumped at the opportunity. Bradley was devastated. His hero was going away for heaven knows how long (pun not intended) and he had never even seen this Gabriella girl since he was a toddler. Something happened however while Cooper was gone.

Bradley received daily calls from his brother, he didn’t wonder much about the fact that his brother was outside of time and space. One day on their daily calls Cooper asked about Gabriella and Bradley felt distraught that he truly didn’t know. Thus, he left their house in a flurry and ventured off to find her.

But it was already too late, she already needed a new protector and in the heat of that moment Bradley found himself gaining the protector abilities that his brother once had with a few caveats.

[spoiler=Combat Information]

Weapon Information:

A Mercury Sword:

A Mercury Weapon is all about its fluidity. The wielder must be able to adapt to any situation they find themselves in. Bradley had much less time to tamper with it than his brother but finds he was able to manipulate its transition form much more proficiently. The weapon consists of a hilt. Bradley’s contrasts from his brother’s in that his hand guard is golden. The mercury contained in the sword is also not silver, but has a bluish tint to it. Also unlike his brother’s weapon it turns out that Gabriella is actually able to wield it because it was created from their joint necessity to protect each other.

Base Abilities:

Eagle Wings: Bradley has the ability to jump higher and stay airborne longer. While he has yet to sprout actual wings he attacks from above most often and is therefore more equipped to attack tall enemies.

Rage: Bradley enters periods of intense rage in battle mostly spurned by the harm of a teammate. When this happens he ignores his own pain and enters a frenzy where he attacks viciously and relentlessly without care for what he is attacking. His power increases by about half, but he can also sometimes harm exactly who he is aiming to protect as he swings without prejudice.

Fighting Style: Bradley is cunning and capable. He always analyzes each situation to find the best way to attack an enemy. While Cooper only really used 3-4 weapons, Bradley has used his knowledge of both medieval weaponry and future tech to create a new weapon for each situation. This stems from his greater control of the fluid aspect of the weapon. He also can create projectiles from the mercury so he has long range capabilities as well.

Magic: None

Inventory: TBD

MISC: Will Be added as things come up

Gabriella: Much better. I knew you better than what it was. Personality section is a little bit under par but I'm not too bothered about that.

Bradley: I wonder what he has in store for this war... No Theme Tune? It can always wait, so... In any case...

It's a pass. Both accepted.

As all required spaces are filled, we are no longer accepting. For now.

Then it would seem my window for this, so to speak, has passed unless you are willing to allow for an exception.

Also, trying to fill out one of these character sheets for myself is proving rather-difficult. I never expected to have to reflect so much on myself for any specific thing in the past.

Personality and Description. The former due to not being sure how to begin with that, and the latter being the fact that I am not sure how to describe my attire in words known to this world. I am having difficulty finding appearances that are similar enough to borrow those words, even in they are not quite right. Everything else, I can fill out just fine, though the Combat Information could be what one would call an "information dump".

If you wish for a visual aid, I have an image that would be suited for that, though I still feel a bit violated that someone went through this effort.
