From Victory to Oblivion: A Real Life War [OOC Thread] [Started/Not Accepting] [R-16]

Recommended Posts

Damages have been caused with the website being down.

We get an extra day to finish everything. Deadline for current players is now on the 9th October.

Seems like Tes is done the day after she called in, maybe two.

EDIT: Both her apps never ceases to impress now, does it? Both accepted.

How this review will work: We will only give the overall score for each character we HAVEN’T seen already and a brief opinion on each.

Starting with Tes since she has already finished.

[spoiler=Reviews]
Kuria: Bringing someone with YGO mechanics to the war is certainly rare. Not much have I seen them around. I’m interested to seeing where this is going, especially if he is going to be helping two of the most complicated characters I’ve created thus far. Not to be mistaken for an Immortal Cyborg or Subject. There are only five of the former in the world. Points for creativity too. 9/10.

Gemini: Already seen. Gemini is ineligible for review.

Ziro: Already seen. Ziro is ineligible for review.

Aradace: Now, what can I say about this one? I must admit, I am interested to seeing where he goes with this. Personality wasn't fleshed out enough and neither did the Bio or the Appearance sections but then again, I have no right to reject co-hosts in this RP. For someone who did most of the work on a smartphone, although I saw better this wasn't a bad attempt. I would like to have heard more about Aradace and his past. Sadly, not everything was detailed enough and it wasn't 100% perfect. Points for efforts nevertheless. 7/10.

Draven: The first NPC outside of my own. Now, just like Aradace most of the app is pretty vague. I know he and I seems to have the most in common but still I would like to know about Draven in a little bit more detail. Now, I know Kyumi is using a smartphone but I cannot judge purely by that. I need to judge this based on my experience in this field as well as originality itself. Again, not a bad attempt but I would like to see better and much more broad. Sadly Kyumi himself doesn't know too much about the characters to be able to do that. The app is not 100% perfect but with the knowledge, it should be. I'm counting on it. 6/10.

Vitalani:

Raiden: Like the previous two characters, all fields are not detailed enough, but that's simply why he was here in the first place. To be able to learn how to RP like a true professional. Sadly, I cannot do everything for him. Raiden reminds me of a character of the same name from Metal Gear. The appearance matches, and everything. If everything was to be broadened in detail, then it would be a whole different story. Concerning the bio, when was he born? What did his parents do for a living before they died/disappeared/etc.? What are his intentions during the war? I could say the same for the other characters. I look forward to seeing the development of this character although it's not much. 7/10.

Mistral: She's the kind of girl that could relate to one of my characters, Meguri Nightingale. Not much can be said, unfortunately. Again, I would like the character development to be a bit more in depth although Kyumi did admit to me that he does not know all that well about them. Sooner or later, this would not be an excuse so the quicker the character development can go the better. For now, I can only give this one a 7/10.

Sylvia: There isn't really much I can say to this character apart from the fact that she was raped before death? Nevertheless, app is slightly below par but I'm not too bothered about that. I'm more worried about character development here. Biography is acceptable this time round, congrats are due there and the fact that she can get her hands on any weapon automatically calls her a mimicry. There are a lot of improvements to be made still but I must say this one is getting better. Keep this up. 7.5/10.

Jack: He's one of those who reminds me of someone who can manipulate ice at his own will. Knowing the fact that he comes from royalty, as I should assume... This character definitely has potential. The stinking attitude of his doesn't always help in this RP though but I am sure it work out one way or another. Kinda reminds me of myself sometimes. Let's hope he can be of use in the field of war. To rate this, I'll probably give this one a... 8/10. Not sure why, but I do believe it can be better when I know the guy more.

Celina: Someone with an affinity for all magical skills. That's what I wanna hear. I take it as the fact she is a freelancer, or no? This app when looking at it again kinda reminds me of one. Again, this character has potential but do I see it going anywhere? Let's see because I sure do hope so. Having trained in combat at a very young age, she should more or less know what she is doing. 7/10 for this one. It's only because I don't know the character well enough. Maybe that can be higher when I get to know her well.

I don't understand the rating thing, but I as a cohost, will review your apps.

Gemini, I obviously cant , so, I'll do Kuria.

Kuria seems, interesting. There are a few things that I think are left unstated, as in why he can see two images at once, but that could be me and my damned forgetful memory. As for bio, you came from Hearthome in Pokemon, but are a Duelist from Yugioh, and now are joining this war in From Victory to Oblivion. I agree with Angel, gotta give you some major points for creativity. My vote is "accepted"

In regards to the 'Hearthome' bit, while the name does show up in Pokemon, in the RP I'm having Kuria herald from, it's one of several cities, one linked to the XYZ Summoning mechanic. If you look at his monsters, one of them, specifically the Clear Nebula Dragon, happens to be an custom XYZ monster while most of the other monsters are the actual monsters of the Clear Archetype (all of them Effect Monsters) or custom Synchro monsters made for the archetype.

And as for his ability to see in two directions at once...while he can't really stop his living eye from looking where he wants to, he can stop the mechanical eye from following the living one, allowing him to look in two directions at once.

I've done the reviews of those I haven't seen. I did make a note of those I have. Kyumi, I need to ensure you are not offended by the low score but I have to be professional here.

Tip: If you flip your phone horizontally, you may just be able to judge yourself better.

I'll review your other characters upon completion.

EDIT:

However, two odd things came came from the surgery to gain his new arm and eye. One was the odd need to itch at a particular spot on his forearm, while the other was the random appearance of a single Ancient Pixie Dragon in his deck.

Just pinched this from Kuria's Bio. Tes, was this intentional?

Optional Location Endless Warzone has been added. This will be the challenge of this RP.

Five days left to brush up everything. Ironically, Tes has finished her apps two days after she called in and I've turned mine in the day it started. Interesting.

FIVE DAYS.

Starting date is now set in stone.

Kyumi's character reviews are done.

Once the characters are developed well in the app, I will be able to give a higher score but as of right now it seems limited and I am not able to do much.

I am more concerned about the Appearance, Personality and Bio sections. The description isn't detailed enough and not much in depth. Kyumi did tell me why though, so I'll teach him that during the cool down period.

[spoiler=Personal Information]

Quote: “I can do all things, through Christ who gives me Strength. Phil 4:14”

Name: Gabriella Cortez

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Race: Nephilim

Appearance: Gaby is a tall for her age girl with broad shoulders and a slender figure. She has skin the color of coffee with too much milk and almond shaped eyes. Her mouth is pouty because she is an only child who was spoiled a little too much. She isn’t gaudy and wears simple denim jeans and plain white tee-shirts. She keeps her hair just long enough to brush her shoulders. This is important because once in battle it is JUST long enough to tie back. She needs glasses but doesn’t often wear them. She doesn’t way much past a hundred pounds which Cooper was always thankful for so he could literally yank her out of danger.

Personality: Graceful and repentant. She is sorry for how she treated the man who would later become her defender. He sacrificed himself to purgatory in order to allow her to become stronger. Not having seen him for nearly 9 months she decided it was time to forge her own destiny. She is becoming headstrong and determined. She is Powerful and courageous. Gaby isn’t an angel, but she sure as hell is going to fight like one.

Biography: Gabriella is the daughter of God’s messenger angel and an earthling who is Part Barbadian and Guyanese two cultures who are not too deep into the mysteries of the Heavenly host. While on earth delivering messages to a prophet the angel Gabriel caught sight of a vision in the prophet’s daughter. While typically obedient Gabriel pleaded with God to let him finally have a daughter and his prayer was answered. However, Gabriel still was responsible for delivering God’s messages and therefore was unable to be a typical father. Instead he granted Gaby a host of people who would take care of her as if she was a princess. This disabled her ability to grow as a demi-angel. However this changed when Man’s plans began to interfere with those of the heaven-lies.

A hero was chosen amongst those from earth and assigned to protect her. Cooper wasn’t much of a warrior in his own right but he was bestowed with a weapon that had helped generations of heroes protect those that were important. Gabriella was apprehensive at first. Of course the Cortez’s and Anderson’s had been involved in each other’s lives almost her entire life. But Cooper was 6 years her senior and she recalled faintly that he was not fond of her at all. Her opinion changed quickly when Cooper became the most self-sacrificing person she knew. It culminated in him telling her that something was coming. His precognitive abilities were valuable in battle but when he started having vivid recurring nightmares Gaby knew something terrible was about to happen. When the letter arrived that was it. Gabriella was left behind so that she wouldn’t have to endure the pain and sorrow Cooper would have to. But unfortunately the battles that were fought in the realms beyond did not stop Gabriella from getting involved.

[spoiler=Combat Information]

Weapon Information: None

Base Abilities:

Divine Guidance:

Being the daughter of an Angel Gaby relies heavily on the guidance of God. She has no qualms diving headfirst into battles she knows she can’t win. She uses anything as a weapon and can easily learn things using.

Empathetic Mimicry:

Because of the help of her protector (who sacrificed himself to Purgatory in order to protect her) Gabriella is able to use the strength he garners as if it was her own. His actions and decisions in one of the roughest of afterlife realms allows her to become stronger and wiser in battle.

Fighting Style: Gabriella uses her diminutive stature and polite attitude to make mortal enemies underestimate her but when it comes down to it she can slice open anyone with a piece of broken glass. She is cunning and quick witted and takes no flack from anyone.

Magic: While not able to come fully into all of her Demi-Angel abilities Gaby can still:

Heal Non-Fatal Wounds Outside of Battle (Her and Allies)

See with Hawk Vision

Dream an  Unstable Future

and

Pray (She’s always doing this, as a Demi-Angel of the Messanger of God she can basically contact God like that but to be honest who can’t amirite?)

Okay, Jake. I'm spotting problems straight away. I could tell by looking at it for one second.

I won't tell you off for it, but I expect you to fix em. I assume you want the co-host job, then?

  • General guidelines for a paragraph is generally 4 lines. Unless you're reading it from a smartphone, which I think you are then it's going to pose a problem for future reviewers. Keep your eye on that.
  • Biography is TWO or more paragraphs. Maybe you haven't taken enough time to look at the app skeleton.

I'm having a problem making a decision based on that so I'm gonna ask you for a favour and fix the things I tell you to.

  • Appearance: You told us the height, build and skin tone... But just how tall is she? Weight? Clothes? Any additional items?
  • Personality: I suppose you could write a bit more on this section. It's okay, but we want to know a bit more. Not a whole lot more. Broader detail is obviously better.
  • Biography is nowhere near finished. When and where was she born? She's from Heaven, sure. That's all I got though. Any preference on the War Flank she wants to be in? Did her family do anything for a living? Mention that too, even though they didn't. How does she plan on making this country a better one, can you tell us?

That's it, basically. I can't add her in until that's done. Take your time though.

EDIT: If you have a valid explanation for it though, I suppose I can let it slide. But do remember what I said.

I like the Idea, but I would like a little more info. Who is the person she sacrificed, why did she sacrifice him, when? I believe the Biography section called for 2 paragraphs, so you can cover this in the nonexistant 2nd paragraph. Also, I personally would ike to know what she wears, but that's just me. As for Inventory, wait to make that till you see the items in the RP you applied for. Other than those, I accept it, once you add more Bio.

I just had a cool Idea! I'll have Draven use his powers to make this girl, and he'll fall in love with her, and it will be weird but fun. I found the perfect picture too!

WIP

[spoiler=Draven's Girl(Sylvia, as he calls her)]

Appearance: [spoiler=]

9HdhpBN.jpg

Character Quote: "I got this babe!"

Name: Sylvia Blackthorn

Age: 16(116, but who's counting after death?)

Gender: Female

Race: Undead

NPC: Yes

Appearance Paragraph: Sylvia is a zombie. Sometimes, from the right angles, she doesn't look like on, but she is. Her appearance is just like the picture: pale complexion, relatively tall(probably 5'6"), green eyes, and dark purple hair. But, there are differences. Her skin is not completely perfect, in fact it is a bit wrinklier than on the picture, not much, but enough that if you were standing near her, you could see faint lines. She dresses in clothes that represent her dark, deathly home, and she likes that.

Personality: She is the kind of person to listen well, and do exactly as she's told. She will only listen to Draven however. Even if he tells her to jump off a cliff, she would do it to show her love for him, and because she's already dead, she has nothing to lose. This does not mean she does not feel anything. In fact, she would probably run away from him if he did tell her to kill herself again. Even though she is undead, she has feelings. Hard to grasp, but once you do, you will understand. Her and Mistral get along well, mainly because Sylvia has a way of rocking her outfit despite the gloomy look it has.

Biography: Sylvia was a regular girl in school. She got good grades, looked her best, had many friends, and even had a boyfriend. One day, she decided to walk to her friend's house for a sleepover, when a guy pulled her into a back alley. This strange man raped her and then murdered her before the cops could arrive. When her parents found out, they were devastated. But, Sylvia on the other hand, couldn't figure out what to do. Instead, she sat in purgatory waiting for judgement.

Then, all of a sudden, she was being brought back up to the over world. At first, she thought she was being given a second chance, but she soon realised this was not the case. There were strange, flashing lights around her, and she had felt terrified. She couldn't wait till it was over so she could say hello to everyone she knew. But when they did stop, she only found herself asking one question: "What would you like me to do?"

Her memory had been wiped almost completely. She could remember only select bits about her previous life. She knew she had a boyfriend, but not what he looked like, she knew she was smart, and that she had died. But new thoughts were there also. Thoughts that told her to listen to her conjurer at all costs. Thoughts that told her that she was not the same person anymore. She refuses to listen to those thoughts everyday, mainly because she has sentiment.

Can she fight underwater: Technically, yes, but it would be as effective as you or me fighting with fists in water.

COMBAT INFO:

Weapon: Anything she can get her hands on. This means if the weapon can morph, then she can make it morph.

Base Abilities: Ummm. She can't die. She can only be "returned" when she takes too much damage, or when Draven "returns" her.

Fighting Style: Anything Draven prefers. But, if she had to choose, she would love to slice her opponents into bitty pieces.

Magic: N/A

Inventory: N/A

MISCELLANIOUS INFO:

Only Appearance: In this RP

[spoiler=Freeze to Death]B2FD6604-0A3A-434D-95FA-37B09581770E.JPG

"Buzz off or you're dead."

Name: Jack Hailstorm

Age:18

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Appearance:Standing at 6’ 1”, he has broad shoulders and slight muscles. His skin is white not very tan, considering that Jack prefers the cold shadows over the hot sun. He his eyes are blue like his father’s, but his pure white hair come from the Hailstorm blood line. For you see, the Hailstorm family is often known for having powerful ice users that sometimes have white hair, and Jack is one of those few.

When Jack is at the Academy he wears the Academy uniform, which consists of black dress shoes, black dress pants, a white undershirt, and a fancy blue and yellow jacket that he prefers to wear unbuttoned. When not at the academy, he wears a long, unbuttoned black leather jacket with white undershirt, causal jeans, and simple black shoes.

[spoiler=Personality]Jack used to be a happy-go-lucky kind of guy until his dream to become a world famous knight was crushed. After then he became a bit of a jerk, and he doesn't care what people think of him. He rarely smiles and has an expression of boredom on his face most of the time. The few times he does smile is with Celina. He often cuts people down with sharp insults and openly points out their flaws. Sometimes, he’ll even push people or knock them down if he’s in a rather bad mood. But as long as you don’t get in his way, he won’t bother with you.

Also, just because he’s a major jerk doesn’t mean that he’s evil. If someone is in trouble he’ll help them, but then he’ll usually walk away and ignore their thanks after helping them. Celina is trying to teach Jack not to be a jerk, but it isn’t working that well.

[spoiler=Bio]In a world far far away filled with magical creatures and medieval weaponry and structures, but a bit more advanced in clothing, there were 22 kingdoms. After an event that almost destroyed the world, there became a large span of peace. During this span, the rulers of two kingdoms married and had a child. These two rulers were known as Frost “The Terror of the North” and Alexis “The Bloody Torturer of the Damned”, or “The Bloody Torturer” for short. As the nick name suggested, Alexis was a master in torture and had the power to control blood. While Frost was an expert in ice magic and could make it snow with a snap of his fingers. Both of them were feared greatly and had been known for taking down armies single-handedly. Despite their terrifying powers, they made surprisingly great parents.

While they did compete a little in trying to convince their son Jack to learn the powers they had (which Frost had won), they never pushed him into doing anything he didn’t want to do. By age 10 his little sister Bliss was born and his parents turned most of their attention to her. But Jack didn’t mind. He knew his little sister needed the attention and he wanted to grow up a bit. After all, he wanted to become a world famous knight, and a knight didn’t rely on his parents. When he became 13, he was sent to the Academy: A school in the kingdom of Talos where they taught the students in common education, combat, and how to control magic. It was there that his dream to become a world-famous knight was crushed. He found out through other students that his parents were two of the few people who were responsible for saving the entire world; a feat which Jack couldn’t dream to accomplish. Whether it was teen hormones, his dreams being crushed, or both, Jack suddenly had become a major jerk, even to his parents.

At the Academy, he would cut down other students and push them if they got in the way, which would cause fights. This behavior got him sent back to his parents for several weeks. During these weeks Jack bad-mouthed his parents and talked back, which rewarded him a grounding to his room. After his parents tried to talk to him and failed, Jack went back to the Academy. There he meet a girl named Celina, which he instantly told her to screw off. But despite his constant warnings and insults towards her, she kept trying to have conversation with him. Finally fed up with her constant attempts, he allowed her to converse with him. Although he made it very clear to her that they weren’t friends and to not bombard him with questions. Celina easily accepted his terms and began to have occasionally small talk with Jack. After several months of this, they each found out a bit about each other. While Celina found out about Jack’s parents, Jack found out that Celina’s dad was the king of Talos.

Finding out that they both were royalty, they started talking to each other a little more. Soon they became friends (although Jack won’t admit it) and Jack’s jerk attitude toned down a good bit, especially around Celina.

But Jack never expected that one day Celina would find a relic that teleported both of them to another world that was in the middle of a war.

[spoiler=Combat Info]Combat Information

Weapon Image:

1334583850110.jpg

Weapon Information: Can it morph?: No, but it can be made out of Ice.

Weapon Background: Blizzard was owned previously by Jack's grandfather, who had died when Frost (Jack's father) had been just a baby. He can heal himself with his ice, but it can take a span of a few minutes to a few hours depending on the severity of the wound.

[spoiler=Daughter of a Witch]render__momoi_satsuki_by_mjssvanny-d6id6

"Hi there, the name's Celina. What's yours?"

Name: Celina Sun

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Race: Human

Appearance: With her slim, slightly curvy body, Celina stands at 5’ “4. She has slightly tanned skin, as she prefers laying out in the sun. Her hair and. . .buxom chest comes from her mother, while her scarlet red eyes(which aren’t shown in the picture) come from her father.

When at the Academy she wears the female Academy uniform, which consists of black dress shoes, a black skirt that drops down to the knees, a white undershirt, and a fancy blue and yellow jacket which she sometimes wears unbuttoned. When out and about she usually wears some form of a colorful and comfortable dress, along with a purse and either comfortable shoes or heels.

[spoiler=Personality]Celina the kind of person who would care for injured animals and help old people across the street. In other words, she’s a caring person who cares for the wellbeing of others. This sometimes means that she will neglect her own wellbeing when caring for somebody else. But while she is a kind and caring person, this doesn’t mean she won’t fight somebody who’s bad or evil. In fact, she’ll fight them with everything she’s got. She does this because she has a sense of justice and believes that evil should be taken down.

Although Celina doesn’t usually get really anger, if somebody annoys her just right, she’ll go into a very annoyed rage. This rage only lasts a few seconds before she calms down, but she has been known to show some increased strength by usually knocking out someone out in a single punch.

[spoiler=Bio]In a world far far away filled with magical creatures and medieval weaponry and structures, but a bit more advanced in clothing, there were 22 kingdoms. All these kingdoms rested on a large continent, and in the exact middle of this continent was the kingdom of Talos: One of the largest kingdoms that accepted people from all over and strived for peace. But just because they strived for peace didn’t mean they were peaceful. Ever since Talos was built it was ruled by the Sun family, who excelled in swordplay and fire magic. Under the rule of the Sun family, Talos never fell to enemy nations, nor did they lose any territory. And it’s stayed this way even with Talos’ current king, Markus Sun. Markus had become king after his father had died from old age.

It wasn’t long after his father’s death that Markus would have to prove himself as king of Talos, as 1 and a half years later, an event happened that held the fate of the entire world in the balance. Banding together with kings and queens from other kingdoms, Markus was able to save the world and bring forth an age of peace. During that time he married a powerful witch by the name of Eleanor, who had helped greatly in the process of saving the world, and together they had two kids. The oldest, a boy named Calcius, and the youngest, a girl named Celina.

Markus had faith in both of his kids to carry on the Sun legacy, but over the years, his faith fell more on Calcius. For you see, Calcius was a natural with a sword and a quick learner with fire magic while Celina was a klutz with a sword and a failure in fire magic. Seeing her father’s attention and affection shift mostly to Calcius made Celina depressed. But luckily her mother coaxed her out of it, telling her that she didn’t have to be like her brother. She could be whatever she wanted to be. Taking her mother’s words to heart, Celina studied the kind of magic she wanted to learn. Along with that, she also tried to become a better with a sword. After several clumsy attempts, she realized her problem was that the sword she had was too heavy for her to handle right. To fix this problem, she got a lighter sword with a thin blade.

As the years passed by, Celina got better in sword fighting and magic (but mostly magic). At age 13, Celina was sent to the Academy by her father so that she could perfect her swordsmanship and magic. Her brother had been at the Academy for 3 years before Celina had arrived, and he had made a name for himself. By the first minute that Celina had arrived, she had become the most popular girl there because of her brother’s reputation. This caused two major problems for her. The first problem was that because she was Calcius’ sister, who was the top student there, many people had expectations that she would become just as good as her brother. This wasn’t the case as Celina would often be late for class or make a dumb mistake. The second problem was that because she had so many “friends”, she had a hard time telling which ones were real friends and which ones were fake. In fact, it took her 7 months just to find 4 real friends. But soon, she would accidently find her 5th friend. . .sort of.

One day when she was talking and walking with her (real) friends, she accidently bumped into the one kid in the entire academy who didn’t give a crap about her. And that kid went by the name of Jack. After calling her some form of insult, he walked off while ignoring angry glances from Celina’s friends. Now you would think Celina would’ve just left Jack alone and learn to never bump into him again, right? Well you’d be wrong. Celina had saw something in Jack’s eyes. Something that told her that he was alone and angry at the world, and she wanted to change that (plus, he was a bit handsome).

So every chance she’d get, she would walk up and try to talk with Jack. This usually was followed by a simple “screw-off” or a hurtful insult. But Celina didn’t give up. She kept trying and trying until finally after several months, he agreed to converse with her.

Now on their final year at the Academy, Celina found some sort of relic and decided to show it to Jack. But never could she have guessed that this relic would teleport both of them into another world that was in the middle of a war.

[spoiler=Combat Info]Is Your Character an Underwater Fighter?: No.

Weapon Information:

sh1098.jpg

Name: Shine Spark

Weapon Info: A rapier sword made out of a light metal with a very sharp blade. It has a spell cast on it that makes it indestructible. The blade was specially made for Celina by Simon the Blacksmith; a very popular and experienced blacksmith in Talos.

Weapon Background: After finding out that the sword she was using was too heavy, she had Simon the Blacksmith make her a special rapier sword.

Base Abilities: She can sense when magic is being used and if an item is magical or not.

Fighting Style: Support. Celina prefers to stay back and provide support by using her Hex Falcons. Although, she can get into a sword fight if she has to do close combat.

Magic: Hex Circles: A special kind of magic that requires concentration. By touching something, she can place a “hex” on it. At any time she can activate the hex, which will cause a complexly designed circle to appear. The size of the hex circle depends on the amount of magic Celina uses on it. Each hex can contain a different type of spell which can be used for either an attack or as a way to slow down the enemy. She can also activate hex circles from the palm of her hands, making for a sort of projectile attack.

The hexes that Celina currently knows is Fire(unleashes a stream of flames within the hex’s circle), Electricity(same as Fire, but unleashes lighting instead), Ice(same as before but unleashes a wave of ice), Gravity(she can increase or decrease the amount of gravity inside of the circle), Wind(A powerful gust of wind is unleashed that can send things shooting sky high.),and Standard(which is unleashes a series of magical slices inside the circle). She’s currently trying to learn the Teleport Hex, which allows her to teleport things between Hex Circles.

Hex Falcons: Basically, she creates birds that glow brightly. The color of the glow depends on what the spell is. The birds can fly and are used to place a Hex Circle on whatever they collide with. She uses the Hex Falcons to place Hex Circles without having to get up close.

Inventory: One of several special necklaces fitted with a sun symbol made of several precious jewels. The necklaces are passed down through the Sun family as a symbol of trust. The necklace was given to her by her dad before she went to the Academy.

Misc: She has a crush on Jack, but won't tell him because she's too embarrassed.
