Ultimagamer
This is an archetype I came up with that has to do with counters. Archetypes with counters don't see much play, being inconsistent and hard to swarm, they are tricky to play, so I wanted to see if I could come up with one that has viability as maybe a tier 2 deck. This will be focused around continuous spells and the ability to swarm the field with counters and monsters to stop the opponent. The theme, as you will see, is all about Honey Bees. Spells and Traps ( these are more important, so I shall cover them first ) Worker BuzzSpell - Continuous When an insect monster is normal or special summoned to your side of the field, place 2 "Honey" counters on this card. During your main phase you can remove 4 "Honey" counters from this card, special summon 1 level 4 or lower light insect type monster from your hand or graveyard. You can only use this effect of "Worker Buzz" once per turn. Breeding BuzzSpell - Continuous When the effect of an insect type monster is activated, place 2 "Honey" counters on this card. During your main phase you can remove 4 "Honey" counters from this card, add one light type insect type monster from your deck to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Breeding Buzz" once per turn. Fighting BuzzSpell - Continuous When a light type insect monster on your field battles an opponent's monster, before damage calculation, place 2 "Honey" counters on this card. All light type insect monsters you control gain 200 attack and defense for each "Honey" counter on this card. If this card has 5 or more "Honey" counters on it; light type insect monsters on your field cannot be destroyed by battle. Protection BuzzSpell - Continuous Each time a "Buzz" spell card is activated ( except this one ), place 1 "Honey" counter on this card. If a spell card(s) on your field listing "Honey" counters in it's card text would be removed from the field, remove 1 "Honey" counter from this card instead. This effect can only be applied 3 times during either players turn. Honey Overflow Spell - Normal Activate by removing 2 "Honey" counters from anywhere on the field, draw 2 cards. You can only activate 1 "Honey Overflow" per turn. Honey Hive Spell - Field Once per turn, you can add 1 light type insect monster from your deck to your hand. During either players standby phase, distribute "Honey" counters on face up cards you control equal to the amount of face up cards on both players field. If this card would be destroyed by a card effect, you can remove one "Honey" counter from any card on the field instead. Bee Sting Trap - Normal Activate by tributing one monster on the field with at least 1 "Honey" counter on it. Destroy cards on the field up to the amount of "Honey" counters that were on the tributed monster And now, onto some monsters, there aren't too many here, but I would love to hear suggestions on more additions to the concept Worker Beelevel 2 / light / insect 800 attack / 800 defenseWhen this card is summoned, you can place 2 "Honey" counters on this card. You can distribute "Honey" counters placed on this card to any face up card you control during either players main phase. You can remove 2 "Honey" counters from this card, add 1 spell card listing "Honey" counters in it's card text from your deck to your hand. You can only use this effect once per turn. Soldier Beelevel 5 / light / insect 1400 attack / 1400 defense You can special summon this card by removing 1 "Honey" counter from anywhere on the field. If special summoned by this effect, place 3 "Honey" counters on this card. You can distribute "Honey" counters placed on this card to any face up card you control during either players main phase. This card gains 200 attack and defense for each "Honey" counter on this card. If this card would be destroyed by battle or card effect, you can remove one "Honey" counter from anywhere on the field instead Queen Beelevel 8 / light / insect 2200 attack / 2200 defense Cannot be normal summoned or set. Must first be special summoned from your hand or graveyard by removing 5 "Honey" counters from anywhere on the field. When this card is summoned, place 4 "Honey" counters on this card. You can distribute "Honey" counters on this card to any face up card you control during either players main phase. During either players turn, if a spell, trap, or monster effect is activated, you can remove 3 "Honey" counters from anywhere on the field, negate the activation, and if you do, you can either shuffle that card into the deck or banish it.
