Must be Link Summoned. If this card was Link Summoned using "Link HERO Kosmos" as a Link Material, you can Special Summon 1 "HERO" Fusion Monster from your GY to your side of the field ignoring its summoning condition. During the Battle Phase, this card is unaffected by your opponents card effects. While theirs a "HERO" Monster in a zone this card points to, this card cannot be destroyed by battle or by card effects.

So I edited Link HERO Kosmos so its battle protection is from any HERO Monster but cut of the 700 ATK boost from it due to this feeling that this would fit Kosmos better. In addition for playability use it still with that has its ability to set you up for Fusion plays allowing to search and recycle Poly and a HERO Monster.

 

Krown Kosmos as its evolution form can be summoned either with or without Link HERO Kosmos but the benefit of summoning it with Kosmos is that it allows you to bring back a HERO Fusion from the grave where it doesn't even have to be placed in a zone it points to. In addition to that it has its battle protection regardless of being linked to a monster by if linked to a Monster it has protection from being destroyed.

 

In all these would both be decent in Elemental HERO and Destiny HERO Decks for its ability to set up Fusion Plays with Link 2 Kosmos and then revive and act as a power house with Link 3 Kosmos.
