[spoiler=Flying Deep Sea Queen: Info]

WATER/Winged Beast-Type Effect Monster/Level 8/0 ATK/800 DEF

Lore: If any player's monster declares an attack while this card is in your hand: You can target 1 of your banished WIND Fish, Sea Serpent, or Aqua monsters; Special Summon this card and that target, then if that target was banished this turn, draw 1 card. Gains 800 ATK and DEF for each WIND or Winged Beast monster on the field. If this card on the field is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can Special Summon 1 WIND Fish, Sea Serpent or Aqua monster from your Deck. You can only Summon "Flying Deep Sea Queen(s)" once per turn.

Generation Fish needs more luv, luv.

And to celebrate that necessity, here's something that can bring back Flyfang, Spearfishh, Airorca, Skystarray.....

Also, Sulfefnir and Rage of the Deep Sea.

So there's that.

I do think I may be doing more of this, I've gotten quite a taste for it.

Until tomorrow then-BDS, signing off.

Update 1: Did a bit of work on this for it to better support Fish monsters- thank Eshai for the upgrades, this does need more power under the hood for what it requires from you. Now it also fits into the ascending scale of Deep Sea monsters with the Level 2 Deep Sea Diva into the Level 5 Rage of the Deep Sea, into....well itself. No true relation to Diva and only a peripheral one to Rage, but it helps for its Level to have a bit of a tie-in to monsters of previous fame.

I just realized that Airorca probably would've been a lot better if it was just a Quick Effect. Then the Deck would have access to all sorts of shenanigans.

Anyways, this card is pretty interesting, but I'd like to unpack each effect individually.

  1. Typing I would make this a WATER Winged Beast just for the sake of consistency among cards, but whatever.
  2. If this card is in your hand when a monster declares an attack: You can target 1 of your banished WIND Fish, Sea Serpent, or Aqua monsters; Special Summon this card and that target, then if that target was banished this turn, draw 1 card. Considering this is a Level 5 and can be activated from any battle, this is pretty good. I do stand by my "WIND or Winged-Beast (but not both)"  idea of bringing the archetype together, but that's not all that necessary here since WATER Winged Beasts are higher Level monsters.
  3. Gains 700 ATK for each Fish, Sea Serpent. or Aqua monster on the field. Considering the stats I would say this is the place for the Wind or Winged Beast clause, and I would also increase DEF as well since that's probably the only position it's going to be in unless you activate it while you're winning, which isn't likely with this Deck.
  4. Unaffected by monster's activated effects. Wait activated? Is there an interaction with one of the Fishes I don't know about?
  5. If this card is destroyed by battle: You can Special Summon 1 Level 5 WATER monster from your Deck. Sulph then Citree then go for a Level 7 Synchro would be interesting, but the Special Summoning condition for this card isn't exactly enough to make running it a good idea. I recommend saying "Level 5 or higher WATER Winged Beast" so you can Special Summon your Simorgh card as well.

The fact you're even attempting this still amazes me. Seriously this isn't exactly the kind of Deck you can just fix.

Right-fixed the Type and Attribute to your specs, it's awesome-2nd point remains since it's here as a second boss alongside my previous work of Simorgh, Bird of Heraldry. And the point of this is to help Generation Fish make a winning combination, now that their effects aren't an immediate death sentence to anyone who wishes to wreak havoc on that empty field.

4 is also adhered to, as it no longer has monster effect immunity-that was always a poor attempt to make it like Cracking Dragon and Crimson Nova, since I thought that's what all bosses needed these days-and I liberated the destruction effect to be more...reactive to some other chirpy combo interrupters. But again, the thing is primarily meant to be Fish/Aqua/Sea Serpent GF support, and that's what its going to orbit around for the time being. I do love the input tho, Esh, it's helped me to understand what else I need to do to better work with Generation Fish and the WATER Birds.
