Tentacruel
So my area is about to get completely cucked by this jabroni. My parents are just boarding up and riding it out, which I would probably join them in but I'll be driving north to protect my car. Discuss this swirling vortex of death incarnate. Flash Flyer - Sakura
Hopefully you and everyone else who lives in Florida / its likely path get through this, though considering this one is much stronger than Harvey, expect the worst. You're doing the right thing by getting out of the way (as Cat-5 storms are nothing to sneeze at); as for your parents, IDK. If last one was any indicator, damage will be much worse than that.
Snatch Steal
Assuming God isn't punishing me for choosing to sin, I have 2 outcomes: • The hurricane just scrapes us and we get some awesome rainfall with days out of school• I die So I guess come what may and do what you can. Dad
If it keeps on its projected path, I think it's gonna pass over Florida and then end up in the funking gulf. So I'm wondering if the jabroni is coming to Louisiana too.
Chaotic Angel
Get out of the country for a few days until the hurricane subsides. It might help. Not saying it will. EDIT: sheet, no it won't. Planes will probably refuse to fly you. Keep safe, everyone.
jabber2033
I'm nowhere near Florida, but I do have an aunt and uncle in Jacksonville. Told them they could come up this way if need be. Last forcasted tracks I saw have it going basically right up the middle of the state. Also, the Tamba Bay-Miami NFL game on Sunday has been postponed to Week 11 because of this thing. Simping For Hina
UCF literally moved the game against Memphis from Saturday to this coming Friday. Closed every facility on campus but the football stadium.
LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
Jeezus it may snow like a JABRONI up here but you southern boys get the craziest sheet. Please stay safe all y'all there and if possible keep us updated on, ya know, your state of living.
Poc
It's been raining on and off here (southern ontario) for the last couple weeks. So we're all ready feeling the effects of these storms. There was a pretty major flood in this area the other week too. To the point that it was declared a state of emergency. Poc
Honestly the entire continent is f***ed. vla1ne
At least the hurricanes stop eventually. Nothing stops those fires on the other hand...lack of fuel can, but by that point, it's already done it's job. as for irma, hopefully you guys make it through the storm, and furthermore, hopefully your homes/places of residence do as well. keep safe, and remember to eat as much as possible, and pack things that are warm, dry, and if possible, float, should you need to move anywhere at all. because if your luck shits out, it may take a bit for support to make it to where you are. speaking from less water-related, but no less valid, experience, keep safe, keep (us) updated and stay as prepared as physically possible guys. Tentacruel
So update, I was able to find a garage to park my car in, so I'm just gonna ride it out with my family. Most homes down here are solid block, not wood, so the frame of the house is fine, I am worried about the roof though. vla1ne
hope you're right. from what i've heard, there may be up to two more high level storms following irma. not sure if they're on the same path, but if this is your decision, please, be 200% prepared, the entirety of the south is in for some sheet. Y'all let me know how that works out.there's a vote for that? i figured it would just be common sense to at least attempt to get hurricane relief funds, especially after something like irma.
