Atypical-Abbie
So here's an interesting little idea, the card is able to boost the monster in your Extra Monster Zone by the ATK of the monsters you Summon to your Main Monster Zone. This makes Pendulum Monsters that you "lost" become more powerful and more worthwhile to bring back to your Extra Monster Zone, where you would mostly want Link Monsters and the like, though this way you can make that monster a powerhouse. Additionally, it is a Scale 8 monster and has 3000 DEF and two monster effects, one that allows it to gain ATK equal to the DEF of the cards in your Pendulum Zone, and can reduce the ATK and DEF of your opponent's monsters by "paying" using its ATK, which also puts it in Defense Position so it isn't going to die as easily. Pendulum Effect:If you Pendulum Summon a monster to both your Extra Monster Zone and your Main Monster Zone: The monster in your Extra Monster Zone gains ATK equal to the combined DEF of all the monsters Pendulum Summoned to your Main Monster Zone until the end of this turn, but those monsters cannot attack directly this turn. Monster Effect:If this card is Pendulum Summoned: It gains ATK equal to the combined ATK of your cards in your Pendulum Zone. Once per turn: You can make this card lose ATK in multiples of 1000; all monsters your opponent control lose ATK and DEF equal to the ATK this card lost, then change this card to Defense Position. Sleepy
I like the twists on this card.It encourages big monsters on Scales such as Odd-Eyes, and it can easily get a good number on itself.Anything that can combo with Ragna is a good trait. It is meant to be used in multiples since you'll have 1 at the scale when you Pendulum Summon another from hand. 3K DEF is about as good as the boost gets. Or you could be using Odd-Eyes Dissolver too, for 2600 and actually some ATK. I almost wanna suggest it be Machine for Machine Dupe combos, but Fiend has plenty of ways of getting out too. VCR_CAT
I don't understand; it's impossible to pendulum summon a monster your Extra Monster Zone and Main Monster Zone without first having done some really weird link summon plays to get something like Proxy Dragon below the EMZ and then using the monster in your EMZ as a link material, or from summoning a Link monster from the grave first. Like, it's possible to get it set up, but it's not something that's easily done in the least bit that makes me think that this card's general application is going to be easily done by any stretch. I would suggest rethinking the condition of that pendulum effect, because right now it's really impractical to pull off and you're not really getting much for doing it. That's the intention, of course you can use Link Monsters too if that's your jam.
Eshai
Pendulum Effect:If you Pendulum Summon a monster to both your Extra Monster Zone and your Main Monster Zone: The monster in your Extra Monster Zone gains ATK equal to the combined DEF of all the monsters Pendulum Summoned to your Main Monster Zone until the end of this turn, but those monsters cannot attack directly this turn.Requires quite a bit of setup but it's pretty interesting. If there were a couple ways you could exploit this with monsters that can ATK while in Defense Position, but that isn't quite consistent the way it is because none of the Decks using cards run Fiends or Pendulums. Monster Effect:If this card is Pendulum Summoned: It gains ATK equal to the combined ATK of your cards in your Pendulum Zone. I think you have to say combined original ATK since they're technically Spells in that moment.Once per turn: You can make this card lose ATK in multiples of 1000; all monsters your opponent controls lose ATK and DEF equal to the ATK this card lost, then change this card to Defense Position.Well that's pretty cool. If you really invest in that Pendulum Summon you can basically board wipe your opponent. I like it, but Idk if I would run it in anything. Overall a solid idea, but I figure making this into a Pendulum/Link Archetype with ATK/DEF stat switching (since Links are auto-immune) would be pretty spectacular, although what to name them...
