​I checked in today and my "star rating" (the stars below my avatar) went from 3 to 2, I think this is because I posted a forum on September 8 on both the Extra Link and the idea of Set Rotations (

 

I was just trying to state some opinions I had at the time and I got so much hate for it, not that I mind it at all, and I am trying to better myself online everywhere I go so I didn't think I would offend anyone with those posts but if anyone thinks what I did is that offensive or if it is something else you think I did please leave me a comment on those threads or my account. I'm not trying to ruin my reputation on this site, considering I don't have one, and if I do make a mistake or make anyone feel bad I would like to know so I can rectify it and move on.

I honestly don't know what happened, just today my stars went from 3 to 2 and I can't actually think of a reason why except what I wrote earlier.

Alright since I take it you're serious I'm going to say don't worry about it. There's so many reasons for someone to rate anyone anything that it doesn't really mean anything at this point.

Just 5-stared you and refreshed the page. You seem to be back on 3 stars.

 

Don't worry about that either way though. There's a ton of people that don't even remember that rating exists, me included since I only ever rate when somebody wants to be rated and it is pretty much always 5 stars. That said, you can probably tell it is not a very accurate thing. No profile stat measures of any kind are any real indicator. I remember back when I was a new member, I was neg repped once just because somebody didn't like something I said at a thread. Like, it wasn't anything controversial or offensive at all, and my tone was basically the same as the one I'm using right now, yet that happened. I used to also see some members go on spam neg patrol calling themselves a team dedicated to just do that on people's profiles.

 

Star rating, reps/likes, post count, point currency, none of that should make you make a thread apologizing, so don't think much of it.
