Shimmer-Familiar archtype, posting these because I need balance advice

Shimmering Master Summoner

If there are 2 or more "Shimmer-Familiar" cards in your graveyard with different names: you can reveal 1 synchro or xyz monster with the same attribute as a monster other than "Shimmering Master Summoner" on the field or in your graveyard whose level/rank -4 is less then or equal to the number of special summoned monsters your opponent controls x 2, banish 1 "Shimmer-Familiar" card from your hand or graveyard, and tribute this card; discard 1 card and if you do, special summon 1 monster from your extra deck with the revealed monster's name (this is treated as a synchro or xyz summon respectively) and attach the top 2 cards of your graveyard to it as xyz materials (if possible). It gains these effects, depending on its current attribute(s). *FIRE or DARK: it gains 500 ATK and DEF. *WATER or WIND: if it is special summoned: target 1 spell/trap card your opponent controls; destroy that target and if you do, banish it. *LIGHT or EARTH: once per turn it cannot be destroyed.

 

Rulings Notes:

- A sample summon would be your opponent controls a special summoned LIGHT monster and you have 1 DARK monster in your graveyard, and no other valid monsters are present. You can summon any level/rank 6 or lower LIGHT or DARK synchro or xyz monster.

- The attribute based effects apply based on the monster's current attribute at the time the effect would be used, so if DNA Transplant is changing the attribute of all monsters to WATER and you summon a DARK monster, you can activate the effect to destroy a spell/trap card. Then if DNA Transplant is later destroyed or negated and the attribute returns to DARK, the +500 ATK and DEF effect will apply as long as the attribute requirements are met.

If this card is summoned from the hand: you can add 1 "Shimmering Master Summoner" from your deck to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Shimmer-Familar Automatic Armor" once per turn. Once, while this card is in the Graveyard, 1 Level 5 or higher "Shimmering Master Summoner" you Normal Summon can be Summoned without Tributing.

When an opponent's monster declares a direct attack (Quick Effect): You can discard this card and 1 other "Shimmer-Familar" card; negate the attack, then end the Battle Phase and draw 1 card.

If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing Battle Damage to your opponent. If this card attacks, it is changed to Defense Position at the end of the Damage Step. When this card you control is destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle or by card effect) and sent to your Graveyard: Draw 1 card.

Once per turn, when a monster you control declares an attack targeting a Defense Position monster your opponent controls, you can activate this effect. If you do, during this battle the attacking monster inflicts piercing battle damage. During either player's turn, when a card or effect is activated that targets a Synchro, Xyz or "Shimmer-Familiar" monster you control (except during the Damage Step) while there is another "Shimmer-Familiar" card in your graveyard ror banished zone with a different name: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; negate that effect. You can only use this effect of "Shimmer-Familiar Reflective Knight" once per turn.

 

Shimmer Familiar Spell Swordsman

DARK

Spellcaster/Effect

1800/1600

 

If this card is summoned: you can discard 1 "Shimmer-Familiar" card, then target 1 card on the field; destroy that target and if you do, draw 1 card. If your opponent controls more monsters then you do: you can banish this card from your Graveyard, then target 1 "Shimmering Master Summoner" in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target and if you do, you cannot special summon for the rest of this turn, except with "Shimmering Master Summoner".

 

 

 

[spoiler=Strategy]The strategy is to use "Shimmering-Master Summoner" to summon powerful monsters to turn the tide of the duel. EG Raid Raptor - Revolution Falcon for its multi-attack effect or cyber dragon Infinity for field control. The rest of the cards are there to force Shimmering master summoner into his own deck instead of being the next Ptyolemaus (sp?) However I will admit that the cards need work to keep up with the current format. Most of the design process was done during legacy format, however this version is meant for standard
