EXFO-JP067 サイバネット・リフレッシュ (OCG: Cybenet Refresh/TCG: Cynet Refresh)
Normal Trap Card
(1) When an opponent’s Cyberse monster declares an attack: You can destroy all monsters in both players’ Main Monster Zones, then during the End Phase of this turn, players can Special Summon as many Cyberse Link Monsters that were destroyed by this effect as possible from the GY to their owners’ Fields.
(2) When an opponent’s monster activates an effect: You can banish this card from the GY; until the end of the turn, Cyberse monsters you control are unaffected by card effects, except your card effects.

When a Cyberse monster declares an attack: Destroy as many monsters in the Main Monster Zones as possible, and if you do, during the End Phase of this turn, Special Summon as many Cyberse Link Monsters among those destroyed monsters in the GY as possible to their owner's fields. When your opponent activates a monster effect: You can banish this card from your GY; Cyberse Link Monsters you control are unaffected by card effects (except their own) until the end of this turn.

Yeah, IDK about this one.

Organization notes that it got nerfed to require the opponent running Yusaku.dek and not you.

Eh it is basicly the exact same as its anime version, the same wording even.

Your opponent needs a cyverse monster (like decode talker ... or he steals your firewall dragon with barreload dragon *hint*).

A prime Foolish Burial of Goods target (if anything) if I ever saw one or discard fodder for cards like that one level 5 "cyber dragon" cyverse Yusaku plays, one would never expect to use its first effect and monster immunity for 1 turn can be neat if it quite cheap, the only weak spot is that your opponent does know you have it.

(If people watched Yusaku vs Revolver, then they'd get it)

But yeah, first effect is kinda meh (granted, you can revive stuff but requires opponent to run Decode or something). Second is fine, and the only reason you bother with this right now in Yusaku.dek.

To be fair, a lot of Yusaku's cards are printed as-is from the anime, bar some minor changes. So...if they get posted a while after the episode, that's likely what we're getting.

First effect is situational, but that second effect looks really good, IMO, and you can just mill, discard, etc. the card to access it. I guess the card could get more funny when/if a Cyberse variant of Zombie World is released.

Probably, but they haven't printed that kind of thing for a while. Then again, Konami could surprise us in the future.

Something like "Virtual World" Field Spell that makes all monsters on the field and GY Cyberse-Type, and prevents the Link Summon of non-Cyberse monsters as counterpart to Zombie World doesn't sound that bad.

I may as well drop it on CC section xD

Could this be why they are giving us so many Cyberse-Type Links?

Yet, it still feels so situational. So it is a Mirror Force that doesn't affect the Extra Monster Zones and it affects you too.... even if it revives cards, one would think it'd be alright to revive something into a Main Monster Zone, but not even because it doesn't help you take off your card from the EMZ.

The GY effect is pretty good, but I don't recall a card ever being run 100% for its GY effect.....

What about the Spyral Missions, especially Assault ?

I haven't put much attention to Spirals, they are fairly new to me. If they have something like that, it must be the first precedent.

Before that, anything like Breakthrough Skill or w/e usually also used the card's regular effect in some way rather than exist just to be dumped to the GY for its other eff.

I'm not 100% on SPYRAL, but yeah, think this gets used to help SS stuff faster. IDK about first one.

Though, there are a few other cards that are just dumped nowadays for their GY effects but have perfectly fine on-field ones too (usually for speed purposes).

Maybe (or they're just trying to milk Yusaku.dek so players will actually use his stuff, despite a chunk of them being uninteresting). Thinking it's more of the latter and trying to develop their new Type; though even then, only a handful of those Links actually do anything relevant.

I'm pretty sure I've seen some of those cards be used the regular way in those decks. Ghostrick Reform, the Silent cards, Zoodiac Combo.

Gun Cannon Shot is is too new to put as established 100% like that. It does combo with itself and is Magic Planter fodder.

I think Survival's End is a very interesting card but I haven't really seen it used regardless of for which effect...

The best sample of the list that does prove your point (because yeah, your point has been proven regardless) is Good & Evil in the Burning Abyss, but no need to toss in card names just to try to make the list bigger. Many of those aren't really good examples.

Well those are examples for cards which are actually mostly used for their grave effects or cannot even be used regularly (Phantasm Spiral).

The Cubic cards are used in cubic decks and are actually the prime targets for that level 4 meteor cubic and foolish burial of goods.

As for Tomb Shield ... yea it is not good however I used it in my needlebug phantom knights for a while, so I felt like mentioning it.

Ghostrick Reform can be used, however one does not lose out on much by simply sending him, given that its rank-up-effect is the only real purpose of it.

I will admit Silent Slash is a terrible example, Silent Burning however is terrible if not for its grave effect.

And to be honest Cyberse is not real that good either.
