Artifact Mjolnir
Light Fairy / Effect
LV5 1300/1800
You can only use this card name’s (3) effect once per turn.
(1) You can Set this card from your hand to your Spell & Trap Zone as a Spell Card.
(2) During your opponent’s turn, if this Set card in the Spell & Trap Zone is destroyed and sent to your GY: Special Summon it.
(3) If this card is Special Summoned during your opponent’s turn: Target 1 “Artifact” monster in your GY; Special Summon it in Defense Position, also you cannot Special Summon monsters until the end of the next turn, except “Artifact” monsters.

Seems suck but my anti-xenophobia bias is strong. Turns every Artifact effect into 2 bodies + effect so at least that's neat.

Woot, more Artifacts, thank you Konami for making both Ghostrick and Artifact cards for me, and it's actually not half bad either! Skipping a step of Setting it first is very helpful, being able to bring out a Durandal for less resources it very nice, means you can put them into other things, though the restriction is a bit annoying, a Link Monster for Artifact seems appropriate at this point, they have the spam possibility for that.

In pure Artifacts during this Link predicament... To me this is a 1 of. Making Durendal easier is nice and all, but your only probably going to make Durendal once per duel anyways. And you can loop it with Call of the Haunted or Oasis of Dragon Souls just like any of the other Artifacts if for what ever reason you need to make a 2nd copy of Durendal.

I legitimately think that restriction isn't needed though... Rank 5's aren't all that great, and what would be so bad about Artifacts being able to make the generic Link Monsters like everything else? Most of what I end up making in pure Artifacts is Constellar Pleiades to loop Call of the Haunted and Oasis of Dragon Souls that loop your Artifacts. Anything else is just toolboxish, yet occurs once in a blue moon.

I haven't played them in a while, but what I remember people usually doing is just spam Artifacts and just attack with them into of making Xyz Monsters anyway, so maybe it doesn't even really matter. You could attack with this card and some other Artifact, then Xyz Summon into Durandal to get a more beefy monster you can hold onto for longer than this card can stay alive. Also do remember that Special Summoning will trigger their effects as well, which helps their speed immensely, as I stated before, you skip the step of having to Set them again, which is huge because you not only lower your card usage, but you also gain access to more monsters quicker. I understand the frustration with a restriction such as that, but I don't think it's going to end be as important as you make it out to be.
