Flash Flyer - Sakura Posted September 24, 2017 Report Share Posted September 24, 2017 "VWXYZ-Dragon Catapult Cannon" + "Armed Dragon LV7"Must first be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by banishing the above cards you control and/or from your GY while the above cards were previously Special Summoned this Duel. (You do not use "Polymerization".) Your opponent's cards and effects with the same name as a banished card cannot be activated. Once per opponent's turn (Quick Effect): You can banish 1 card from your Deck or Extra Deck; banish all cards from your opponent's field and GY. ====At this time, YGOrganization doesn't have an article; found this on the Wikia.Can assume it was leaked on the Japanese YGO site that Organization normally gets their stuff from; will add link once confirmed. EDIT: http://blog.livedoor.jp/maxut/archives/50803450.html==== Last effect is a board wipe, but given the new rules on ED summoning; dk how summoning Catapult Cannon will be feasible at this time. Atypical-Abbie Posted September 24, 2017 Report Share Posted September 24, 2017 What? Fusion Monsters are getting nidicolous, that being said, getting this out is super powerful, just banish something from your Deck and banish everything from your opponent's field and GY, then locking down other cards with those names? If you aren't winning already, this is a pretty surefire way, and getting this out will be super fun, even if its super hard right now (though I suppose Level Up can be used). Darj Posted September 24, 2017 Report Share Posted September 24, 2017 Wait, what?Funnily enough, a few days ago I was discussing with a friend how there should be more ABC-VWXYZ Contact Fusion combinations, but I never expected them to be combine with a monster outside of the series xD "Once per opponent's turn (Quick Effect)", I like that clause for card-making purposes; sometimes one wants a Quick Effect that cannot be used during your turn, and I didn't know the way to write it updated with the (Quick Effect) clause. Too bad that the Summoning condition requires the materials to be Summoned first; otherwise it would have been an amusing boss in a deck that runs deck + Extra Deck milling tactics like Cyberdarks, Mega Zaborg, etc.Still, the concept of combining XYZ monsters as armor for other monsters is cool; good for inspiring ideas for card-making. The Highlander Posted September 24, 2017 Report Share Posted September 24, 2017 Gale Dogra/Mega-Zaborg -> Phantom of Chaos, Supreme Servant Dragon Starving Venom or Wind Witch - Crystal Bell.The best way would appear to be Mega-Zaborg + Miracle Synchro Fusion or Mega-Zaborg -> Rafflesia -> Miracle Synchro Fusion to abuse Crystal Bell.Sadly one would need to use double phantom of chaos into vwxyz and then "a wild monster appears" into lv 7. Flash Flyer - Sakura Posted September 24, 2017 Author Report Share Posted September 24, 2017 At the time of posting, we don't have any new cards that can "cheat" VWXYZ out faster, so...you figure out a way to make it under Links. But then, question is whether you actually want to run Armed Dragon LV5 first (granted, you do have stuff like Level Up / Modulation; latter ignores the Nomi condition from the GY so there's that, but... Though I suppose the restriction on the materials needed to be there; otherwise this thing is legitimately a board wipe (and can be played around with in terms of materials). I guess the banish effect works against certain Decks (can't think of others at 2 am that rely on banishing except for maybe Shiranui/Kozmo/Chaos/PSY-Frame? [if they're still working right now], despite using your own cards to block the opponent too). ====So basically, big boss that requires jumping through hoops to summon (if possible), but the payoff is getting to banish your opponent's stuff for min. cost.==== Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Flash Flyer - Sakura Posted September 24, 2017 Author Report Share Posted September 24, 2017 That, and you actually have to summon them at least once during the duel, so can't mill them from the Deck and whatnot. If they weren't summoned (presuming that it applies to the monsters that would be used as material, though I don't see people using more than 1 copy each of them anyway, so...) So...yeah, figure out a way to tech Armed Dragon LV5 and 7, along with making VWXYZ in a workable Deck. As I mentioned in the OP, I'm really uncertain on how this is going to work out, giving VWXYZ needs to ladder from 2 monsters that also require Extra Deck summoning (with the zone stuff) and Armed Dragon hasn't been seen for a long while IIRC. ===P.S. I added a link to Maxut, so you can look back at it for your reference. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Darj Posted September 24, 2017 Report Share Posted September 24, 2017 If it only required XYZ-Dragon Cannon it would be more understandable IMO due to X getting Normal support and Y and Z getting Union and ABC support while still retaining a "Fusion of bosses" vibe; and even then, mixing them up with Armed Dragons and Level Up! may lead to awkward hands and plays so it would be a casual deck at best. But both VW and XYZ... needless to say, it is much more complicated. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

~~~~ Posted September 24, 2017 Report Share Posted September 24, 2017 this is the new Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth EDIT: I actually made a card that goes along the same thought track as this card recently, although it's intentionally very easy to make. https://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/366039-written-chazz-support/ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
evilfusion Posted September 24, 2017 Report Share Posted September 24, 2017 What. Just...what. Who the funk designed this thing? And I don't mean this card's effects. Who designed this card's CONCEPT?! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Maeriberii Haan Posted September 24, 2017 Report Share Posted September 24, 2017 it looks awesome as funk, far better than the abomination that was A to Z. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Premier Alexander Romanov Posted September 24, 2017 Report Share Posted September 24, 2017 What the funk, Konami? I wish there was more to say, but literally everything about this card just has me saying "what the funk Konami?"What. Just...what. Who the funk designed this thing? And I don't mean this card's effects. Who designed this card's CONCEPT?!I call this kind of abomination a "Definitely The Final Boss Monster", or "DTFBM".It is the type of demented horror in the mind of an amateur cardmaker on how they would like a duel to end.These monstrosities are usually characterized by three main attributes:1. Being an upgrade or combination of an existing monster(s), usually all used by one or more major characters from a series.2. Being so ludicrously difficult to get out that you would not only have to devote an entire deck, but also an entire strategy, just to have a HOPE of getting it out.3. Having an insane effect that is just barely worth jumping through the hoops required, while playing against an opponent that was expecting a more regular game of Yu-Gi-Oh, that turns the successful summon of the DTFBM into a win condition in of itself.I'm not saying Konami isn't enjoying their legacy support, but there's being clever, like the new Cyberdarks, and then there's this: Babby's First Custom YGO Card. UltimateIRS Posted September 24, 2017 Report Share Posted September 24, 2017 Then again VWXYZ's materials are named materials, so you can use Fusion Parasite to substitute either of those.No you can't. BatMed Posted September 24, 2017 Report Share Posted September 24, 2017 Oh dear Ra. Somehow this card reminds me of the old days in the forum. Those monsters that are impossible hard to summon and impossible Kaiju it or smtg to stop *smh* Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
玄魔の王 Posted September 24, 2017 Report Share Posted September 24, 2017 This is what happens when you have to design legacy stuff for a character notorious for changing his Deck every time he duels. My only real complaint is its ATK isn't 4000, since that was always GX's style. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
VCR_CAT Posted September 24, 2017 Report Share Posted September 24, 2017 "...while the above cards were previously Special Summoned this Duel." Okay so neat, you absolutely cannot cheese this summon. Can't Phantom of Chaos Armed Dragon Level 7, can't mill those cards into the grave first. Unless they make it easier to do, you ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO summon these original monsters and then use them as materials. What a stupid card, this probably topped out as the hardest monster to summon in the game. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Eshai Posted September 24, 2017 Report Share Posted September 24, 2017 Basically, it says "win the duel if your opponent can't answer this Summon" which is completely fine because you have to Summon V-Z and Armed Dragon LV7 in the same duel. Seriously though what was konami on when they were making this? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Babymon Posted September 24, 2017 Report Share Posted September 24, 2017 So is this CHAD ultimate boss monster? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Yemachu Posted September 24, 2017 Report Share Posted September 24, 2017 It makes it somewhat easier to get "Armed Dragon LV 10" on the field; "Elemental HERO Prisma" can now send "Armed Dragon LV 7" to the Graveyard to take on its name, after which you can tribute it. Probably not very viable. Or you could try to get it in the Graveyard and have your opponent attack your "Legendary knight Hermos". That way he can take on this card's effect and banish all opponent's cards. Summoning this card as intended might be more practical though… Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
