Once per turn: you can target 1 monster on the field or in your GY; until the End Phase, this card's type and attribute become that monster's. Once per turn: you can reveal 1 "Extra-Esper" card from your hand or banish 1 from your GY; this turn, when xyz summoning you can treat this face-up card you control as all of the materials. While this card is level 5 or higher you can also apply this effect to link summoning. An Xyz Monster that was Summoned using this card as Xyz Material gains this effect. ● If it is Xyz Summoned: You can target 1 card in your Graveyard; attach that target to this card as an Xyz Material.

Rulings Notes:

- "while this card is level 5 or higher you can also apply this effect to link summoning." is shorthand for "this turn, when link summoning while this card is level 5 or higher you can treat this face-up card you control as all of the materials."

- After resolving "this turn, when xyz summoning, you can treat this face-up card you control as all of the materials. While this card is level 5 or higher you can also apply this effect to link summoning." if skill drain or effect veiler is used later that turn it won't undo the effect since already been applied. Though skill drain can be chained to prevent the effect from being applied in the first place.

- You must meet all the material requirements of the summon except for the material count. EG, you need to change "Extra-Esper Prodigy" to Warrior-Type to use it to summon "Heroic Champion - Excalibur"

- Cards and effects that activate or apply based on the number of materials will count as only having used 1 material (eg: If this card is Xyz Summoned using 3 or more materials:...) and 'Extra-Esper Prodigy" can only be detached as 1 material for a cost.

When an opponent's monster declares a direct attack: You can Special Summon this card from your hand and if you do, negate the attack. During either player's turn: You can banish this card from your Graveyard, then target 1  "Extra-Esper" monster you control; increase its level by up to 2. Also once during this turn, it cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects. You can only use the effect of "Extra-Esper Barrier Mage" once per turn.

When this card destroys a monster by battle: You can destroy 1 card your opponent controls. If you control an "Extra-Esper" monster: You can banish this card from your Graveyard, then target 1 face-up card your opponent controls; destroy that target. You can only use the effect of "Extra-Esper Battle Mage" once per turn.

If this card is summoned: you can add 1 "Extra-Esper" monster from your deck to your hand, except "Extra-Esper Conductor". You can only use the effect of "Extra-Esper Conductor" once per turn. You can reveal 1 other "Extra-Esper" card in your hand and banish this card from your hand or graveyard to target 1 monster you control that has a level; its level becomes double its current level.

Target 1 "Extra-Esper" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it. I f you control an "Extra-Esper" monster: you can banish this card from your graveyard to target up to 2 monsters you control and activate 1 of these effects;
*Increase each target's level by 1.
*Decrease each target's level by 1.

The idea behind these cards is an extra deck toolbox via prodigy. One can go for cards that enable more summoning such as Firewall Dragon easily and recover resources with Bunjiki Amaterasu. Also, the level, type, and attribute changing effects can enable cards like Raid Raptor - Revolution Falcon and Galaxy-Eyes xyz monsters.
