Duetzalcoatl
WIND
✪✪ (Level 2)
[Reptile/Tuner/Effect]
ATK/ 500 DEF/ 500

If you control 2 monsters with the same name, you can Special Summon this card from your hand or GY. You can only Special Summon "Duetzalcoatl" this way once per turn. When this card is Normal Summoned: You can reveal 1 monster in your hand, and then add 1 monster with the same name from your Deck. You can only use this effect of "Duetzalcoatl" once per turn.

I guess it could work if you've got Tokens on the field. Or perhaps stuff that share the same name due to their effect, like later Harpie monsters. Though getting it to your hand and then Summoning it is another story. Also, you could probably remove the strict "once per turn" clause, as you'd normally only bring out or draw 1. Only support I can think of for this is King of Feral Imps and Oshaleon. You could add a smaller effect in addition to its self-Summoning effect, too.

I would've reviewed this on the same day, but you know, YCM had that error we're still figuring out what the hell caused it....

Anyway...

Card is fine as-is for added summoning speed and searching. As already mentioned above, Harpies may be able to make use of this in a Synchro variant given their entire thing of treating themselves as Harpie Lady all the time. Not sure on other Decks that can consistently keep 2 monsters with same name out and are actually worth talking about. That being said, I think you can get away with leaving the OPT restriction off the search thing. Yeah, we have Trickstar Candina which can search any card on NS, but this one has a much more limited scope. Unless you're teching Double Summon or something, then maybe.

The hard OPT on both clauses are fine; otherwise it could get nasty in multiples in the grave, especially when you can mill the 3 right away with stuff like Snake Rain and then cycle them by spamming Link3s, Synchros, maybe Rank2s, etc.

Second effect is welcomed even if it is a bit on the slow & situational side, but you should be running this card mostly for the first effect anyway.

Overall a good card, IMO. Should excel in decks like aforementioned Cyber Dragons, as well as Harpies; maybe even sneak a few in SPYRALs due to their ability to Summon Quik Fixes with relative ease; although it wouldn't be a card to start their combos.
